Edge has fixed a couple of units for me. I have CNC machines that have older computer Tech in them, and edge has fixed both of them now. They helped me with an Issue last year in an older Windows machine, and they installed a power supply in the unit that runs my mill last week. They have great service and there prices are great.

These guys are true professionals. My computer had an initial problem with the battery, but upon further inspection, there was a short on the motherboard which kept it from turning on. I was updated regularly throughout the repair process and was charged very fairly. I appreciate their hard work, determination, and honesty immensely. Sam is a miracle worker! I seem to have the worst luck with preserving family photos. In 2014 the hard drive containing all of our family photos had a faulty wire which fried the drive. I took it to another place first and they were unable to restore it. I almost threw the drive in the trash several times thinking it was unrecoverable. Then last week I accidentally permanently deleted all of our pictures off of my iMac. Sam was able to restore all of the pictures from the iMac and from the fried external drive. My kids had never seen videos of them as babies before and we are elated to have those memories back. We are beyond appreciative and thankful to have found Edge Computer Repair!

I had a jump drive, which I use daily for academic and personal tasks, and it up and died on me, and of course I hadnt backed it up in a couple months. The folks at Edge worked their magic over the span of about a week and managed to recover practically all of the thousands of files and get me back on track. These guys are great! Sam helped me out and he was very fast, friendly, and professional. After 2 different companies said our hard drive was unrecoverable and all data was lost, we took our hard drive to Sam at Edge...we should have done that first. I had inadvertently deleted documents from a flash drive that are paramount of the daily operations of my company as well as some personal files. Very nice gentlemen working here. I got water on my laptop (doh!). They tried to fix it...spent loads of time tracking the short, and werent able to fix it for a reasonable price. Instead of charging me for all of that work, they just charged me a flat diagnostic fee of $80. This was definitely a loss for them, considering the work they put in...and as the customer, I feel like they had my back. These guys went above and beyond. I live in Cheyenne Wich is about 40 min away. The repair stores near me are garbage. I was delighted with the repair I received on my HP touchscreen laptop from this location! The gave me follow up phone calls when they said they would and they also asked my preferences and gave me as many options as possible. I am very grateful to them and would recommend them to everyone! They do not often have the part needed in stock, it needs to be ordered. So be prepared to be without your device for a week or two.

Most of the other companies offering this services are total used car salesmen, doing whatever they can for you to ship them the drive. these guys are really solid, personable and only charge you for what you need. everyone told me my drive needed clean room level repair for up to $2000. these guys were able to come in much much less and super quickly too. highly recommended!

Success :) Sam recovered all the data on our Western Digital My Book Live stand-alone drive. I had put too much trust in it, without backups.His is the only local, true data recovery enterprise. If youre reading reviews, it may be too late to back up data now, but W.D. drives do fail - often. Our first symptom was its prompting us to upgrade firmware that no longer exists on W.D. technical support pages.Dont waste valuable time with other local shops advertising a very low diagnostic fee. Sam was quite familiar with our problem, made a quick triage check as I waited, and explained it to me with just the appropriate level of detail I needed to know. In 10 minutes, I received an accurate estimate of cost and completion time (days, not weeks.) Communication is A++ throughout.

Super awesome experience with these guys. I broke my internal power switch and took my laptop to Geek Squad, who told me it would take 2 weeks to fix because theyd have to ship it out. Edge got it fixed by the next day and were very reasonably priced. Highly recommend them.

I had an old hard drive that I couldnt access. I took it to 3 other computer repair shops and all of them said the drive was bad and it would have to be taken apart by an expert in an clean lab to recover the data (they thought it should cost about $400). I brought it in to Edge Computer Repair and in 5 minutes he diagnosed the issue (the power cord wasnt delivering full power even though the power light on the drive was illuminated), gave me a spare power cord, and sent me on my way with no charge.

I have had two great experiences with Edge Repair now. First was a simple hinge that was broken making my screen flimsy. They actually put in some nice little screws to both sides that day and for a great price. Today I brought it in early with a power issue and a headphone jack issue, they fixed it up by 2pm the same day. These guys know their stuff and are incredibly reliable!! I have a 2014 Macbook Pro that had water damage and a broken fan socket on the logic board. I do on-call work, and a working computer is vital for the job. Sam got me in right away. He did a beautiful job soldering the fan socket and cleaning the water damage. I picked it up the same day with everything fixed. Sam is the true definition of a professional. The real deal - I took my machine to two VERY LARGE national chains. They told me that the hard drive had crashed, and needed to be replaced. On top of that, they needed to perform the data recovery to get my data back. Oh...at it would take at least 4-6 weeks.I took it to Sam as I just moved to Fort Collins. That same day he called me and told me that the hard drive wasnt bad, and it just needed work done. This would also save my data. Finally, it would take a day or two.The man is brilliant and made it all happen, back to working order in 2 days time. VERY impressed with this business, and he saved me money and time. My second repair at Edge: virus and malware removal, and external hard drive re install. they kept me informed daily on the progress of the repair. Took longer then expected, but they held to the initial estimate. Excellent repair shop
