A Clean Sweep has performed my chimney cleanings for 10 years +. Most recently was the installation of a fireplace insert in an older home. They are always honest, fair, friendly and on time. She also gave a reminder courtesy call the day before my cleaning. Jose was way down to earth and knowledgeable. He explained the ins and outs of owning a wood stove. A Clean Sweep cleaned our chimney in preparation for upcoming winter months. We knew we’d had a squirrel make a nest in the chimney earlier in the spring. The two men with Clean Sweep were very professional, friendly and completed the job in a timely manner. They were careful to keep dust etc. from entering the inside of my home and vacuumed fireplace area prior to leaving. I would highly recommend their services!!

Incredibly helpful. I couldnt get my stove to work and needed an inspection. The staff at Clean Sweep were kind and knowledgeable. They got my stove working and also provided me with instructions on the various knobs and controls. Now I have a nice fire to warm the house for the winter.

A clean sweep truck just ran me off the road and 3 other cars while pulling out of a driveway without looking or stopping. Blocking 2 lanes of traffic and preceding to run a red light. Wouldnt hire them because I dont want that kind of reckless driver in my neighborhood.Edit: Enough time has passed I assumed an apology or statement from management would be posted. Yet they dont seem to care, perhaps that will change when this reckless driver totals their vehicle.

They were flexible when scheduling, arrived on time and were very professional. I called for a chimney sweep and they addressed some flashing issues on the roof, and made repairs in the fireplace. The final invoice was less than originally quoted, thanks for the great service. I will definitely be calling again.

The gentlemen were early to the appointment, they kept the house clean while they fixed our pellet stove. I was happy with the speed and efficiency of the work preformed. We recommend this business and believe it had a fair price.

For the past three years A Clean Sweep has come to Livermore and done a great job cleaning the chimneys at the house. Other than the first contact with them, they have always called me to schedule. So this year I realized I had not heard from them, so I just called to schedule and I was informed first they were full for the season and then that they did not come to my area any longer. Would have been really nice to have a heads up about it earlier in the season....VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!

A great chimney sweep service and reasonably priced. Everyone that has come to my home to work on my chimney in the last 8 years has been very friendly, respectful of my home and keeps things clean while doing their work. They really know their stuff. When I was in the process of buying my 1950s house they came and inspected the chimney to be sure it was safe to use. Once I bought the house I had them put in a pipe for a new fireplace insert, too. They didnt sell inserts back then, but I guess they do now. If they had, I would have bought from them because they are so knowledgeable, and also so that I could deal with only one company for purchasing and installation. I highly recommend!

Wow, these guys were awesome! Randy and Jose came out this morning to clean our two fireplaces and our two freestanding, woodburning stoves in our recently purchased house.Jose did a beautiful job cleaning the fireplaces and the chimneys, and was very neat about it. Very much appreciated.Randy is pure gold. His knowledge around chimney/fireplace/stove codes is extensive. He explains everything in a clear manner.And hes thorough. He looked up the manual to the decades-old stove we had to investigate why these stoves were installed the way they were, to see if they actually might have been to code and potentially usable. (He confirmed that: Nope, they were not! Not by a long shot.)They ended up pulling out our freestanding stoves and sealing them shut, which was our initial plan, but to see what evidence he had for how dangerous they really were...I cant begin to express my relief and how thankful I am that theyre out!His sealing job was also perfect. He removed the offending pipes, cleaned, insulated, fashioned and installed a custom seal, painted, and was done. And they did it all for a very reasonable amount.We especially appreciated how he wasnt looking to charge us for more of a job than was necessary; his focus was just on safety and a job well done. We really felt like he took care of us.If you need your chimney serviced, these are the guys to go with!
