From the very beginning, we knew that we could trust HighCraft Builders with our addition. I underestimated how much work and planning went into the job before it even started, but watching the perfectly orchestrated construction has been amazing. Everything has been flawless. Zach and Andy and Jenny are *chefs kiss* perfection. From day one, they (Zach especially) have made me feel that if there was ever a problem, it would be taken care of immediately. Unfortuneately, I have been unable to prove this as absolutely no problems have come up! I knew that they would help us build our dream addition and Im so glad we found them!

I thought the estimator was really nice, however telling me there is no way they could do a 400sqft kitchen remodel for less than $120K was appalling. The estimator said it would be closer to $200K. A two car detached garage with no bells and whistles we were also told would be a minimum of $100K. We are in old town, we were interested in high craft for their expertise but not at that price point! Eek.

Absolutely beautiful! Highcraft remodeled very dark and out of date kitchen into one that encompasses lots of light and beauty. From the very first day when we said “we just want more light” and Zach said “Take out that wall of cabinets separating the living room and kitchen! “ We had never thought of this! It worked! Kitchen and living room are both lighter, brighter and very spacious!Every tradesman that Greig, the manager hired was skilled, pleasant, considerate and an expert in their field. Watching the electrician, plumber, dry wallers, floor installers and painters work, we never had one moment of doubt that High Craft only works with the top of their different fields. The tradesman worked seamlessly with each other and compliment each other’s work.How much fun it is to cook in such a beautiful space! We have used HighCraft Builders for five projects and have been extremely pleased with the results on each. They took our vision and made it reality. Doing projects 4 and 5 concurrently saved about 20%. Even though the upstairs, where our bedroom is located, was gutted to the outside walls, we were able to stay in our house by sleeping in the living room during the work. Privacy was never a problem. Since 2009 HighCraft has done a two-car garage with attic storage, two new bathrooms, a new kitchen, created a master closet and a mudroom from existing space, installed new hardwood and refinished wood floors, improved the electrical and plumbing, and given us better use of space and better flow. Our house was built in 1910 and it was not an upscale structure to begin with. There were many old-house surprises to work around. HighCraft uses subcontractors who are skilled, reliable and friendly. The HighCraft staff members are consummate professionals with the highest standards. From the first meeting to get a ballpark idea of cost to the final walk-through, our satisfaction was their primary goal. Great job!

My wife and I had an appointment a couple years back for an small studio addition 12x12. I am very handy myself and wanted to save money so I told them I just wanted them to build the shell, and seal it in and I can finish electrical to finishing. They came back with a quote of $150,000!!!!There is another review on here that echos what I am saying. They seem to be very busy and this felt like a way to say it wasn’t important enough or big enough for them unless they just way overcharge me.In the end I did most of the work myself minus having an architect draw up some plans and the roofing. Total I spent about $60,000. That is fully finished inside, with new landscaping and a 400 sq foot deck, none of which was included in the $150,000 bid from this place.I’m sure they do great work, but it seems though if your project is not big enough to make them money, they won’t take you seriously and will overcharge you to make it worth it.

We hired HighCraft Builders to build a garage/shop for us. They took our ideas and managed to create not only what we wanted, but improved on our initial vision. As with all projects, there were unforeseen issues that cropped up (the sewer pipe from the house needed to be replaced before we could put the new building up!) We were able to make adjustments, changed how the electric was brought to building and managed to keep the costs inside the originally quoted bounds. HCB did our basement finishing and we couldnt be happier. The way they manage a project is excellent. We always felt like we were in good hands and our questions/ideas/concerns were always addressed in an amazing manner.

HCB took out our existing concrete patio and put in a new concrete patio with a roof over one section and a wall to accommodate an outdoor TV. We are thrilled with the design, quality, and most of all, how well we were treated.
