This is my and my SOs new go-to hair place. The staff are friendly and helpful, and both of us got exactly the cuts we needed. Marie even said something that Ive never had a barber say to me before: If theres anything you dont like after youve washed and styled your hair, give me a text and well get it fixed. Excellent customer service and knowing exactly what theyre doing means well be back.

I’ve tried a number of places since moving to Fort Collins in 2005. I’ve now been going to Bare Bones exclusively for many years. Easygoing vibe, great people, and consistently great cuts.

Marie gives great cuts and is taking proper covid precautions (temperature checks, masks, limiting the number of people in the shop). Love the location too.

Im new in town and immunocompromised and was pretty desperate for a safe haircut. The shop itself is very clean and theyre only seeing one client at a time. Doesnt get much safer! I saw Chris and he did a superb job. Hes an excellent conversationalist too, if thats your thing. I have a pretty specific pixie cut and he took his time to do it very well...probably the best ever. Extremely fair-priced too. Ill be a regular!

Bare Bones is great. Nice location in Old Town with a parking garage just a couple of blocks away. Tyler’s amazing...very welcoming, fun to chat with, and most importantly, he cuts hair well. Every time I come in he’s happy to make slight adjustments and give advice where applicable, and I never leave unsatisfied.

I like that I could schedule an appointment online. I send pictures of the style I wanted, and when I got there, she was ready to get working on it. She knew what she was doing and pointed out things about the hairstyle I didnt think about or recognize, and it made her work on my hair look that much better. The price for the haircut was reasonable and worth it. I enjoyed talking with her and the other stylist there. They both are friendly, listened to me when I wanted to make a change or had questions, and seemed engaged, even when she was focused on cutting my hair or styling it.

Tyler does a fantastic job. You can tell they care about their clients, and is personable. Regular haircuts are set to be 30 minutes, which is the perfect amount of time to have a personalized experience and still have time for other errands. Online booking is super easy, their site runs smooth, and appointment notifications are helpful. Plus really cool space!
