I give them 5 stars for the original work done....but so much of what goes into the quality of a company is how they handle service after theyve been paid. Two issues came up one year after the unit was installed.1. We were having electrical work done and our electrician told us our mini-split was not installed to code to the main breaker. I have no idea if this was correct or not...but I informed balance point! After the initial concern and well have someone look into this right away....crickets. I called and emailed and received no response.2. I was having landscaping done and needed my Mimi-split moved. I was told they could help and would give me a call back. I called and emailed and received no response. At least theyre consistent.Ben was the sales rep and although my initial call was not to him, I did email him. They can say theyre soooo busy and theyre doing their best, but bottom line calling or writing back take just a few seconds. So sorry, that doesnt work. Very poor customer service post installation.
Our heater blower went out on Sunday (furnace and A/C were 25 years old), Balance Point sent Ben out on Monday with our options and Anthony and Alex showed up on Thursday morning to replace the whole system. We were very pleased with how professional and personable they were and how well they explained our new system. We recommend Balance Point to anyone needing furnace and/or air conditioning work or replacement!
Friendly, professional, and great to work with. We worked with multiple technicians and each one was amazing. We recently purchased a home with a commercial outdoor RTU heat pump, the unit is very atypical for a home. They presented us with many options and provided us with a great solution. Balance point went out of their way to get me a furnace part that the big dealers refused to discuss without a service call. Not only did they track down the part and beat the internet price, but delivered it to me in a couple of hours. They made maybe a couple of dollars on the deal, but they also gained an enthusiastic customer.
