The dentist/hygienist are ok. Not sure about the administrative people though. They cancel appointments on you the day of without apologies. Funny cause they WILL charge you for canceling the day of. They cancel appointments and say they will call back but never do. I always have to call back on my own and then end up getting an appointment months out. They cant handle payments properly and say X amount in the office and will call you later. Guess what, they dont. So I have to follow up on my own, and they tell me Y amount over the phone? Pretty unprofessional.
My visit today (July 8, 2021) ended up in a great service thanks to all personal at Dental Works. I had a great experience thanks to the professional team working at this office. All personal at this office is affableand courteous. Thanks a lot for your great service!
The staff is professional, personable, and incredible at what they do. They have been amazing from start to finish. From routine to emergency cases this practice does a phenomenal job. Clean environment! Thanks for all you do!!!! You all Rock!!! ❤️
My mother in law went in for a consultation and X-rays and was extremely pleased by the service she received. The whole office is extremely welcoming and helpful. Her English is not great, but the doctor took her time to explain everything to my mother in law, which left her feeling confident and comfortable.
Great dental office, service is awesome.Everyone is friendly and helpful. Staff helps with all concerns.
Was able to schedule an appointment right away as I had a near emerfancy experience. The offices were as close to 100% clean as one could get. They presented an excellent plan of action and explained the financial options available to me.
I’ve had the pleasure of having my first visit yesterday and I cannot recommend them enough. The amount of detail, thoroughness and level of care they provide is incredible. They work as a team and function as a family, much love.- Marcus
I was there at dental works for my routine cleaning My hygienist was Shalwanda Who did an excellent job. She was very professional and patient.
They are very professional and give excellent service. They have been taking care of my family and myself for years and treat us like family. We have much confidence in their work and highly recommend them.
I starting going to this location May 2018. My braces cost $6800. I completely paid them off and never missed a payment. I’ve had 4 dentist (Chung, Shamma, Deol and another dentist I can’t recall her name). On 8/9/21 Dr. Deol informed me she couldn’t finish my treatment and I should find another ortho dentist because her and the chief clinical director think it’s best because they don’t think they can fulfill Dr. Chung initial plan . I was given Jennifer Lowry number for somewhat of an reimbursement and yet to hear anything. Not to mention Dr. Chung had 2 of my teeth pulled. Basically I have braces on with 2 teeth missing and I was dismissed from the clinic by Dr. Deol. I’m very dissatisfied and I voiced this to her on 8/9/21. I wouldn’t recommend ANYONE TO THIS office. This facility should be shut down.
I went in yesterday for my first consultation. Dr. Mensah was excellent! She was professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend her and Forest Park Dental Works!
I had a great experience with the dentist, dental assistant, and support staff. They were so nice, attentive, and caring. I had a tooth extracted. It was done so painlessly and quick that I was amazed. I would recommend them to anyone who’s looking for a dentist.
Dr & staff were very courteous & professional making me feel welcome & would highly recommend their services
At DentalWorks in Forest Park I had an exceptional experience. Chris who whitened my teeth using Zoom made me feel so comfortable with the whole process. He explained everything and made sure I was knew what was occurring before they did any procedures. The results were amazing! I had very little teeth sensitivity which was great. I highly recommend them and will be going back for more of their whitening kits. Highly recommend DentalWorks Forest Park with Chris for any dental procedures.
Simply Amazing!I went there for an ER extraction and the entire staff made me feel welcome. They were very attentive to all my needs and understood the severity of my pain.I found them on accident doing a search here. Best accident that ever happened.I beyond recommend them to anyone who needs a GREAT DENTIST!
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!First, wish I could give a review of their dentistry, but never got the chance to experience it! This review is a bit long, but I went thru a lot with them (I condensed it as much as I could).I made my initial appointment through their online scheduler. I received a call back a couple of days later and made an appointment for 2/10. X-rays were taken and the dentist appeared to be a decent human being and a competent dentist. She needed info from my periodontist and his office told me that my insurance required a referral to see him. So, after leaving several messages with the DentalWorks, finally received a call on 2/15, and was told that the referral and X-rays would be sent immediately, and I would receive a confirming email within the hour. NOTHING. I called Dental Works 3 days in a row, leaving detailed messages, with no response. I emailed them on 2/18 (and finding their email address is not easy), but still nothing. Finally, on 2/23, I took the time, effort, and cost to send a certified letter. On 2/25, the office manager called, apologized, and said that maybe (all 3) of my messages had been forwarded to a Texas office. And she didn’t understand why I needed a referral for a doctor I was already seeing. I had to inform her that since I had a new dentist, I needed a new referral, from my current dentist. I also pointed out that no one said anything about that on 2/15. She agreed and said the referral would go out that day and I would receive an email. Later that day, she left me a VM saying I would get my email within the next few minutes. NOPE!I still needed an appointment for a cleaning and as I had bitten my tongue badly, the dentist wanted to follow up to make sure that I didn’t need surgery, so I called again on 3/16. Naturally, the call was answered by VM, the seventh time of the 8 calls I placed to their office over 2 months. I left a message, including name, number, and reason for calling. NADA!. I even left a plea to redirect the message to the Forest Park office should it go astray.Next, I thought maybe they don’t listen to messages during the day, but surely must check them each morning – so I called and left messages early on 3/19 and 3/21. DIDN’T WORK!. So I sent ANOTHER certified letter on 3/24, recapping everything and advising them that I would be sharing my troubles with the internet community. On 3/29, the office manager wrote me an email to apologize and to say they had sent the information to the specialist, but had my email address wrong (even thought I spelled it out for them, letter by letter). She said my calls hadn’t been returned because they were short-handed due to illness. In my email response, I pointed out that 7 unanswered and unreturned calls over 2 months was an abysmal standard for customer service, especially for a dental office! I said that I would give them one last chance (the staff seemed friendly and otherwise professional, and I liked the dentist). So, I called one more time (and left a VM, of course), but this time, I received a return call. The caller said that they had not received the info from my periodontist, so I gave her his contact information (again!) and she said that she would contact him and call me back - and guess what…THEY NEVER CALLED ME AGAIN!! It’s been over a month as of the time I’m posting this – and here’s the topper: I got a call for help from my periodontist’s office – they’re having the same problem – they’ve left message after message and no one has called them back! I told them to forget it – don’t waste any more time on it. Enough is enough…So, my advice to you is this: If you want a dental office that cares about you and is responsive to your customer service needs – THIS ISN’T THE PLACE!! Save yourself the pain. Honestly, I don’t know how they have clients when you can never make an appointment. I don’t know what’s going on over there, but they’re clearly not interested in attracting and retaining new clients.
They are really nice good service and no problems
First visit was fantastic. Staff was great, the Dentist made me feel relaxed and was thorough with her explanation anatomically and treatment plans. I will write a follow up after my first treatment plan is complete.
The staff was amazing. Dealing with a pandemic and a toothache is not fun. The staff was welcoming, patient, knowledgeable and personable. They made me feel comfortable and took very good care of me during the visit.
I’ve been going to this location for a few years now and I’ve never had a complaint until now. This location has fallen off drastically and I’m unfortunately forced to go elsewhere. You can NEVER EVER get through to a live person so scheduling an appointment, requesting medical records, or any form of inquiry is impossible. If you leave a message it doesn’t get returned at all. If I can’t get these basic services as a patient then I’m definitely not confident in dental services being performed. I’ll miss going there just for the dental hygienist, Shalonda. When I tell you she’s the best thing that location has going...she’s the best thing they have...period!! I’ve trusted no one else to clean my teeth. To go from her superior service to someone else will be difficult. Dental works y’all need to get it together ASAP before you lose more patients.
I was very happy with my experience. They took their time to do the procedure correctly and professionally. Everyone was friendly, professional and capable. I highly recommend this office.
They never pick up the phone and never return your calls back. Couldn’t even get into my appointment because there was no one to answer the door or phone. Will be going to a new dentist.
Fear of the dentist triggered here!! Each visit I felt the one assistant (who I directly spoke to. Telling her. “You scared each time I visit”) was doing things she was not suppose to with exception to my last visit. The assistant did a great job and fellow Veteran. My Doc is very skilled. I love the worked/artistry she competed. I just felt rushed. She may be the only Doctor in the office. She the only one I have been seen by at DentalWorks. I will not be going back. I think Camio is better. Another dental office I was referred two by Detalwork Staff (equal in price/better service). Assistants at Camio don’t start just doing things. My last visit today for my crown, completes me spending money here. Two other dentist’s complimented her work. I give my Doctor a 4 for skill. BUT THE ONE ASSISTANT. “SHE SCARES ME”.
I love Dr. Mensah and ShaLonda (dental hygienist). However the rest of the staff is unprofessional. If these two leave the practice at Forest Park, I will be looking for a new dental provider. If you request an appointment by phone the front staff never returns your call. I had to call numerous of times before someone actually pick-up the phone to follow-up on my appt. request. Im currently experiencing a tooth ache and I asked if I could come in immediately. The receptionist showed no empathy and replied no. Hopefully I can get in soon to address this.Improvement that are needed:1. Friendlier front staff2. Respond to all appointment requests made online3. Appointment slots for emergencies patients4. Faster response time to all inquiries.
I had a great experience getting a crown replaced. I love all the staff there. They had plans in place for social distancing and I had no concerns about coronavirus. If you are looking for a dentist, I would highly recommend them. You get much more then the chain dental experience.
I was nervous about this visit with everything going on in the world. But they definitely did an amazing job at ensuring everyone’s safety. I feel very comfortable taking my kids to see the dentist during this pandemic. And they are always kind and professional.
Im very impressed with how this facility is operating during this pandemic. The office is clean, staff is clean and very professional. They made me very comfortable with receiving care during these times. Dr. Mensah is awesome!
I called to schedule my son an emergency appointment Dr. Mensah was able to see him the next day! The staff is very professional and caring! Dr. Mensah is the best.
I wouldnt recommend this place. I sent a request for an appointment twice and finally someone called me. They called to schedule my appointment, and asked for my insurance information which was okay. Then she asked for my SSN. Why would you need my SSN to make an appointment ? I said no.Then she told me I would first come the office for a general exam by the doctor. After the general exam the doctor will make a diagnosis and I will need to schedule a separate appointment to have my cleaning done by a hygienist. I requested a simple cleaning and dont have any dental problems, so Im not sure what diagnosis I need. I asked why would I need to come in two separate times and bill my insurance two separate times, couldnt you do it all in the same visit. They responded no. So I said okay, as long as my insurance approves it and I dont have an out-of-pocket cost. She responded that they are charging $10 (not billed to insurance) for patients to come into the office. How else am I suppose to get treatment if I dont go in office?
Awesome staff, very detailed and attentive to getting the best results for your oral health .Its a great place to call home
My visit with Dental Works was excellent. It exceeded my expectation. The service was great.
Dr. Iqbal is the best dentist I have had by a mile.Great patience, works very carefully and will explain/ communicate through all the steps during a procedure. With all that said, she works fast and efficiently so was in and out in no time.Highly recommended
My dental hygienist Shalonda is the greatest! Always on time, always informative of what I can do to improve my dental hygiene. The front desk could be a bit more courteous. The first person you see as you enter the office is answering the phone. I received a “nod” at check-in when I stated my name & appointment time. Never an apology, never you’re checked in. Just a “nod”.
Great service. Always treated with respect and always felt comfortable and secure with Dr. Mensa.
Dr. Mensah and the team at DentalWorks Forest Park are phenomenal. They are welcoming, informative and (most of all) genuinely care about their patients.
Dr Mensa is wonderful! Its rare that you meet a dentist that cares so much about what end result you are looking for. She was very reassuring and patient with me during the procedure for 2 crowns. Ill be with her forever! :)
They were caring, efficient and considerate. The doctor was extremely knowledgeable and empathetic. They desk staff was approachable and kind but the opening they seat at allows the patients to hear their conversations which was somewhat of a private matter and we as the patients should not here them. Also they should not eat their lunch out in the open where they greet patients. However the front desk was still very professional when interacting with patients.
I am so glad that I discovered Dental Works of Forest Park while walking past them one day. They are the friendliest and most efficient dental place i ever went to. The receptionist, Kim, is a real gem! She will spend as much time as necessary to resolve any billing problem.
Had a great experience at this office...Dr. Mensah was very informative and explained my options and process thoroughly. The entire staff made me feel very comfortable and welcome!Thank you all so much!
My dental hygienist was very informative and great detail customer friendly. She had a great plan to improve my oral health. From checking in to checking out this was a great experience.
Horrible from the get go. Listen I get we live in uncertain times, and places of service hope that clients get it. This DebtalWorks in Forest Park has been horrible to set up an appointment, then when you do get them they say it will be about 2 months out (because CoViD). And you agree because you understand, you give them your insurance info and bam you think you”re set. Fast forward, 5 days till appointment and they say they have an issue with the insurance and that we must reschedule the appointment until it is resolved. They call us days before the appointment when they almost had 2 months to figure this out? Poor office managing skills, I can’t believe they have the high ratings that they have. I will let anyone I know who thinks about using Dental Works about my experience.
My 3 year old had her first visit and it was wonderful! Everyone was so nice and the hygienist was very patient and friendly with my child. The hygienist Shlonda explained every step before she begin and made my child very comfortable. From start to finished we had a wonderful time! Thanks everyone!
A good experience. Staff friendly and informative. Wait time short. Very advanced equipment! Thorough exam and presentation of the work advised and real cost. I’ve been to many dentists over the years. I think they’ve cracked the code. Well done.
I change my mind this place isnt what I thought it was, its a franchise and they switch Doctors faster than I change pants, takes about 48 hours to get a call back when a message is left if they ever call back, gave me a bad refferal even though the doctors knew what insurance I have still had to call back and get another referral and very pushy Doctors try to get you to do all sorts of services, I felt like I was on a used car lot. I recommend finding a local dental office with a steady dentist to get honest answers Im actually thinking about getting a second opinion I have a lack of trust with these doctors here, avoid this franchise.
Everything was clean and service was fast.Once you walk in they take your temperature then you greeted by an employee that has cup of mouthwash near the bathroom so you can wash your hands.
All the staff was very nice, especially the dental assistant. I waited a long time for doctor and in all it took almost 2.5 hrs for an exam and cavity feeling. I understand it’s busy, given all the catching up from the covid-19 shelter in place. What I don’t understand or agree with is the $10 PPE charge per visit! Everyone has to pay for ppe, including myself. I find this charge to take advantage of a situation we are all in. If it wasn’t such a long wait to go another dentist, and didn’t notice until confirmation of appt couple days before, I would go to another dentist. After my follow up appt, I will not be returning to your offices, based solely on this.
Service was excellent and professional. I would recommend you.
This team is awesome. After having a bad experience at another Dental Works in Aurora I was quite skeptical to stay with the same company and actually almost left after receiving unexpected information after arriving. The manager of the Dental Works at Harlem and Both was very accommodating and understanding. She took her time to explain things to me and answered all my questions. She made me feel comfortable. I feel the same about the surgeon and the administrative and support staff. They were all so great. They gave me two times the information that I needed to make an informed decision than the Aurora, IL location, their customer service was 10 times better than the location in Aurora, and their knowledge was 10 times better than Aurora. To top it all off, the manager was able to financially relieve me of some financial stress, which eased my mind a ton. Her going over and beyond for me literally almost made me cry right in the office. I would recommend them anytime!Andie B.
The best experience at a dental office. The receptionist were polite and great at explaining everything regarding your bill. The dentist made sure I didnt feel a thing and that I was comfortable and understood what was being done to my mouth. They even gave a courtesy call to check up on how I was doing the next day. I highly recommend this office and especially doctor Patel.
They always take care of me in a professional manner. Staff has always made me feel welcomed - place is lovely and yes, I recommend others go! Thank you DentalWorks Forest Park! :)
I admit that I came into the office a little upset because there was two months of non-comunication with my Dentist. But, everyone in the office was kind and very appologic about whats going on. I understand that this is a new normal thing for everyone. There was no protocol for this pandemic. They made it up to me with kindness and that means a lot. So, everyone deserves a 2nd chance. They took care of me very well and took extra Covid-19 precautions to make me feel safe. Ill be back to complete my treatment.
I did not have problems with my tooth when I went in. Now, a year later, it still hurts. They will try to up sell you on all kinds of procedures that insurance doesnt cover (hydration?!). Dont let them pressure you into it, its a scam.
Wonderful experience. Doctor, Hygienist and x-ray tech are very caring. Best dental experience ever. They treat tthemhe body, soul, and spirit.😀
My experience at dental works was life changing.!!!!!!!!I had a terrible experience with my previous dentist who butchered my mouth. And the very first visit at Dental works Forest Park completely erased that fear. I was warmly greeted ( reception staff is incredible). Every thing was explained in detail. I was given several options concerning my treatment plan and my financial needs. When it came to the actual procedures they were very comforting making sure I wasnt in any pain. Even offering comforting words when I seemed anxious. It took years for me to trust another dentist and I am so grateful I found Dr. Patel and the staff here. Now I can face the world with my beautiful new smile.!!!!!!
Went in to expect the worst outcome from my treatment, but it turned out to be better than I expected. The experience was great. Everything is explained in full detail and you get a copy of cost. You decide what you want done based on your treatment. I’m glad I went in and stop procrastinating. The cost for services could have been much higher the longer I waited.
Switched to DentalWorks because my insurance had not been covering my previous dentist enough and their hours are really convenient. Went in for a check up and cleaning. The office is clean and updated. My cleaning went well, my hygienist was through and kept the awkward silence to a minimum with relevant conversation. I would recommend DentalWorks to anyone
The service is good and thank you.I thank you for the work you did on my teeth, Good job, I look forward to coming back in future, thank you.
Doctor was straight forward. I think I was rushed a bit because it was Friday and the end of the day. But the service was okay. I’ll go back of course!
Wonder full experience from start to finish. Loved the doctors and staff..
The atmosphere is laid back and warm. The staff and technicians are available and answer all your questions with precise knowledge. The wait was not long and the office manager was friendly and informative. The Dentist made me relax and understand everything he went over pertaining to my upcoming procedures. I give five stars for availability and professionalism.
My mom is a chemo patient who couldnt have any extensive treatment done. Dr. Patil went out of his way to make her as comfortable as he possibly could. The front desk staff was friendly, as well as all of the other staff that we came into contact with. The office is also technologically advanced which is a big plus in my book.
So far so good!!! Everyone AND I do mean EVERYONE was so courteous, informative and professional during my visit. I love the fact they provide a consultation on care and preventative treatment prior to performing any major services that may not be covered by your insurance. Shalonda (the Awesome Dental Hygienist) was able to fit me in for my first service on the same day as my consultation. I will definitely be recommended Dr. Mensahs location to anyone ago asks!!!
Great place. They are friendly, patient and thorough. I am a working mom and I had to bring my 1 year old daughter. I was embarrassed because of course she cried during my cleaning. The staff was so friendly and helpful the entire time. My dentist was very sweet and helpful and gave wonderful advice on how to improve my oral health. I love the staff because the build great rapport with me each visit. Wonderful and trustworthy place.
Lotta problems with this place. First, good luck getting anyone to answer the phone. Second, if you have an early morning apt with a hygienest they wont start until a dentist shows up and when I went, she was 45 late so they didnt have time to finish the cleaning I went for. Third, I was surprised to find out it took almost 3 months to get a cleaning appointment in the first place, but also, fourth, when you think you are getting a basic cleaning that is free for anyone with dental insurance, they will actually sign you up for a horribly painful under the gumline deep cleaning that your insurance will inevitably not cover (and was not covered in the estimate) and you will receive a bill for months later (about 400 in my case) I would definitely avoid and am only giving 2 stars because the place looked clean.
Wonderful dental hygienist. She is caring and remembers her patients and things that they have shared with her such as vacation plans, etc. She explains her procedures and gives helpful hints.
Temperature was taken, was escorted to back away from anyone, teeth were cleaned, fluoride, and I left.
My experience with Dental Works in the Forest Park location is always pleasant. I followed them from the Sears location on North Ave and Harlem. Awesome team and a pleasure to be served by.
Its a brand new facility that relocated from Sears at North/Harlem. Reception staff has changed at least twice since move. Overall decent, clean facility but even with insurance I think their prices run a little high
All is well. I have not had to use any of the painkillers yet, so I doubt I will have to. Thank you for a job VERY well done!!
Dr Mensah hands down incredible dentist.. My son came in needed a filling he said she was nice, gentle and could not believe how she did it so fast. GREAT assistant too Shaquita and Dr Mensah thanks you for the GREAT Care.. He also got a cleaning by Shalonda He was comfortable with her and he was so happy to have clean teeth.. He really liked he and said I WILL BE BACK TO SEE YOU IN MONTHS.
This place is horrible! They never pick up the phone or return calls. They also overcharge you even with insurance. I paid all my copayments and Im still receiving bills without explanation.
I went to Dental works to have some work done. The doctor had the best bed side manner he did a good job on my teeth as well. I have a deep fear of going to the dentist I will go to Dr. Patel again he is amaaaaazing. The staff is also friendly polite and patient. Go team Dental Works Forest Park.
Everyone at this location is so nice, professional and knowledgeable. Made my appointment very pleasant!!
Wonderful team and always helpful :D Thanks!
It was a great experience! A beautiful staff and friendly environment
Everyone I have ever interacted with was personable, professional and considerate of the patients needs. I highly recommend Dental Works
Everyone was very friendly and efficient. I thought Dr. Mensah was great as well as my hygienist Shalonda. I will be back for follow-up visits!
Long story short, I came to Dental Works in Forest Park as a new patient for a cleaning and had the worst dental experience ever.Where do I begin. First, as a new patient you have to do x-rays. The sensor they put in my mouth was beyond large and almost impossible to keep in there. After the top of my mouth got stabbed from the sensor and I complained, they brought in a smaller one. Why not use that in the first place? Couple that with more than a few malfunctions and the x-rays took 30 minutes longer than they should have. After being moved now to a cleaning room, facing the bright sun by the way, the cleaning procedure began. The dental hygienist moved around from one side of my mouth to another and didnt seem to have any real order or method to what he was doing. Ive never left a dental cleaning feeling like nothing happened in my mouth. Brushing my teeth in the morning felt more thorough. The hygienist was clearly new at this and felt skittish as he worked in my mouth, reciting things to me he probably heard in dental school in order to make me feel more comfortable...which it didnt. My only positive is that they were extremely nice and polite. Other than that, I will never go back and would hope that my review saves just one person from an extremely painful and amateur experience.---UPDATE 3/11/2019---A year and 3 months after my horrid experience, they sent a $225 bill for my cleaning which supposedly was covered by insurance. Theyve yet to call me back after I inquired about the bill. Also, I forgot to mention in my previous review that the dentist who examined me and claimed I had two cavities, was wrong. After going to another dentist to get a second opinion, they found no cavities. This place is run as a business to make money off patients, not to take care of patients. Shame on them.---UPDATE 4/12/2019---A month later and still heard nothing from them. Left messages, got no response back. I talked to someone at the front desk on the phone twice who said they would talk with the office manager about whats going on, and still no one is responding back. Calling them now and still no one is picking up so I Can assume there screening there calls and avoiding me. This is beyond ridiculous. I am currently filing a complaint with the Illinois Board of Dentistry and Illinois State Dental Society. Hopefully they can help resolve this matter since DentalWorks doesnt want to speak with me.
Office location is great, very clean, friendly environment and the staff takes out the time to explan the care you are receiving and just make sure you ask the cost for current and future services. Have the office find out the insurance coverage amount so your out of pocket amount is correct.Overall a very nice Dentist office.
I was Very please with my dental experience.Veronica was very kind, friendly and went beyond to make sure that the service provided was great. The Surgery walked me Thur my exam and X-ray. The surgery was a walk in the park. Thank you dental works
Dr.patel I cant say thank you enough I was so nervous he eased my fear very nice and gentleTo the lady who offered me her hand to hold thank you so much you coached me through it. Dr.patel is the best he walks you through the process step by step very nice guy he makes you comfortable I highly recommend him Im definitely going back
The staff was very nice and professional. The actual dental hygienist who cleaned my teeth gave me more information on the care of my teeth than any other hygienist/dentist combined. They are awesome...
Office is clean & comfortable. Wait times were excessive. Had to push to get an appointment, didnt want to accept my Delta Dental HMO, even after having been pre-approved.Professional staff was very knowledgeable & friendly.
Nice Polite Staff. Caring Professionals with Great Techniques. Very Accommodating and caring concerning emergency cases.
Sears Dental located inside Sears is not bad service but they expect you to be prompt for appointments. Also, took five years to get my braces removed despite 3 years expected deadline. They change Dentists frequently, every few years, so that is not helpful. They lost my records with the transitions. Otherwise, its not bad dental service.
Easy and professional. Alejandro and Dr. Patel were great. Veronica the office manager was very friendly. 10/10
This was probably one of the worse DentalWorks experiences Ive ever had and Ive been a customer for over 3 years and to 3 locations. My daughters appointment was for 6 pm and we were seen after 7. The dentist did not seem very welcoming either. I originally transferred from the Fox Valley- Aurora location to Harlem/North but I will inconvenience myself to travel back out there to get prompt and friendly service. I cant say I would ever go back to this location.... Just horrible.
Best dentist appointment ever! I have a long horrible dental history, most of my own doing. So when I go to a dentist, I get really nervous. Alejandro saw this right away and throughout the whole appointment made sure I was confocomfor and kept me distracted. Not that he wasnt super gentle the whole time, because he was. I go back in December and am just fine with that.
The process was a little long with checking (due to first visit) in, however after that Veronica and Yvonne was great. Dr. Rhodes was very good and helped me with my fears, Im looking forward to the dental work needed.
Best Dental experience I have ever had! Everyone is very helpful and professional. Big thumbs up
The office staff at Dental Works are very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. The office is clean, warm, and inviting. I highly recommend this office for dental service.
The staff at the desk was so helpful and nice I felt welcome.. I went for a free consultant today and go back Monday they told me I will love my smile I cant wait!
One day I woke up in pain. I called around to many dental offices but couldnt get an appointment. I called DentalWorks in Forest Park and they immediately told me yes. I gave them my insurance information and they made an appointment for the following morning. When I arrived the clinic was clean and the staff was courteous. When it was time to see the dentist he was very friendly and knowlegable about me needing a root canal. I am so happy I found a clinic that can meet me and my familys needs.
I had an emergency appointment and was seen in a courteous and timely manner. Dr. Rhodes did a great job on my filling. Awesome staff and service.
Success at the dentist is TRUST!! No worries no stress just clean healthy teeth and gums.. Thank you Dr. Patel, Abby, Veronica the Best front desk coordinator and my FAVORITE Dental Hygentist Shalonda, you keep my Million Dollar Smile Shining Bright🌟
I was very pleased with the new hygienist. He was very gentle and talked to you throughout the procedure. Dr. Rhodes came in without hesitation, when asked.
5+ ⭐ I was sooo nervous walking in. I had a very bad experience with a different dentist.( not dental works) My blood pressure was high but as soon as I walked in the office everyone was so kind and considerate. From the reception desk, to the hygienist, to the girl taking my x-rays! Dr. Siddra-Iqbal was the icings on the cake! I had my first root canal done and the experience was not at all terrible. They kept me calm and always communicated with me. Not to mention keeping me calm.Im very grateful for all the hard work they do.. 🙏 THANK YOU. MY NEW DENTIST HOME.
Really great staff. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. Dr. Shamama, my new Ortho Doctor made sure I was comfortable and assured me that I’d be happy with my final results for my Invisalign’s. He made it clear that he would do whatever needed to be done to give me the perfect smile with no spacing. Overall great service from office staff and doctors assistant and doctors.
When I first called to make an appointment, no one answered my first few calls. I finally left a message and by the next afternoon had still not heard back. I called again and still no answer. Waited an hour, called again, and they answered finally and I was able to make the appointment. From the moment I got there I was totally uncomfortable. I had scheduled a cleaning but was first directed to an X-ray room where a staff member barely made eye contact and made no effort to ensure my comfort at all. Next I was take to the exam chair in a small office without doors, facing a wall. Not sure whose bright idea this was, but basically in this position you can hear everyone in the office walking around behind you, but I was never sure if I was alone in the room or not. And in fact the assistant left at one point without saying a word and I had to get up from the chair to see that I was alone. Some of the staff were completely unprofessional and the level of noise in the place was unbearable. There was an employee behind me at some point loudly discussing how race effects how people act in the office with another employee. The staff from the start were impatient and acted busier than they really were, which became obvious when I was barked at when I approached the counter when I first entered the facility, only to realize I’d interrupted the staff discussing and upcoming birthday plan. When I finally saw a dentist, he took one look at my mouth and said I needed a cleaning. I said yes I know, that’s why I’m here. He told me sure no problem we can get that scheduled?! So after almost an hour and a half of waiting, being talked to like I’m nobody at all, dealing with an exorbitant noise level when there were barely any patients there, unprofessional, unkind staff members and testing I neither authorized nor required, I was told that I’d have to make an appointment for a hygienist. After the dentist left, I spent another 20 minutes alone with the noise of employees gossiping, not sure if I was alone in the room, still wearing a bib and protective dark glasses even though there was no work being done and no lights on. Eventually I took them off and walked out of the room. The dental assistant was next door on her cell phone, and when I asked why I was left alone in the room for so long she rolled her eyes and said I had to wait for someone to discuss my treatment plan with me. I told her I would not be back for any treatment and asked for a copy of my xrays (since I’m sure my insurance won’t pay for them again if needed in the near future) and went up front to wait for them to send the scans. This took another 10 minutes while employees discussed birthday plans again.I’ve had a dentist I liked as long as I can remember who is unfortunately not covered under my insurance. He is in a small office with a few other dentists and he and his staff are courteous, caring, ask how you’re doing, are gentle, and only do required procedures. My experience at DentalWorks was horrible. I have never felt so uncomfortable, so riddled with anxiety, ignored, eyes rolled at, etc.
Friendly and professional. Insurance made price reasonable. Just thought the process would be faster.
