WORST PLACE!!! Wished I could give this a 0 star. Not only does the place have roaches, which we found out the day of the party, but the owner is VERY disrespectful. After we provided her and two of her employees plates of food and drinks, which we had no problem providing, but after the mess she pulled at our party, she didnt deserve our kindness. She was constantly in and out nitpicking the whole night. We had the event room til 1am, at exactly 12:30am, Ms. Joy came in asking if our men were drunk. We kindly answered no, that we were just having a great time. She went on and on trying to pick a fight and throwing the racial card. Her intentions were to get us so upset so that we will leave everything a mess causing her not to give back the deposit for the room, but it did not work. I will NEVER use this event hall again and I do NOT recommend it. HORRIBLE. Very embarrassing for the guest that were left at our party.

I’m truly baffled by all the 5 star reviews on this page. These must be family members, friends, or simply people who lucked out with not having Ms.Joy in attendance (owner).I recently attended a party hosted here, and this is the worst experience I’ve had as a guest! You would think that as guest you wouldn’t have to experience dealing with any dilemma. However, the owner made it exactly that. She caused a whole dilemma, interrupting & arguing with guests before it was even time to leave. I think everyone can agree that if you PAY for a event center till x time to x time, that time should be respected by everyone. We did our part. And we even cleaned & swept all the little crumbs off the carpet with the broom that was provided, yes broom, they obviously couldn’t provide cool air conditioning as a previous review mentioned, let alone a vacuum. Nonetheless, on top of everything I mentioned, the owner was very intrusive, uncivil, and ignorant. Never again.

Attending my Aunts wedding here. The location and space was nice but the owner was very much present and rude. She was constantly telling you no you cant do this or that, moving first l guests telling them you cant be here in this area, etc. Then she and her staff made it through all the food line not just one but twice like they were invited guest. I know she made the space accessible last minute and for that we were grateful but she was very invasive of a family moment.

Went for a pre wedding party, hall is big, secure, clean and was well decorated, clean restrooms, enough space for parking

Had the worst experience here. The Lady is extremely racial and refuses to give you your deposit back. Even if you clean up and have it spotless on time. She will pick a fight and start throwing the racial cards down and unless you show up with Forest Park Police you will not get your money back.

The lady that runs this place is rude there were kids near an entrance and she told them to move even though they were not in the way. the restrooms are a mess she told people who were having a conversation that they could not sit there because it was for private conversation. There were signs every where about what u cant do at this place and she blocks off areas that arent needed at the time. Worst place to host an event especially with the lady being so bossy. and if I could I would give it zero stars.
