Tracking says they tried to deliver my package and couldnt because no secure location. I live in a house with a porch and I have a ring. No one ever came and they flat out lied.
Poor customer service. I buy my shipping labels off eBay and regardless of input on package details (size weight etc.) your default is with a USPS package. Even if its already paid for on there when you get here theyll nitpick anything with the package to get you to pay extra for shipping. Every other post office Ive been to has taken packages under the same conditions since in their words shipping is already paid for. Not here. Theyll try to find any excuse to charge extra for shipping. If it was an issue on my part i would understand but I ship a lot of identical packages down to weight and box size and have only had that issue with this location. No others. Certain members of the staff are also extremely rude about this and its overall an unpleasant experience. Avoid at all costs. Either a different post office or a service such as UPS.
Manager is not very nice. Our mailbox got broken into so we must go to post office to get our mail..It’s just so sad mgr says there mail carriers are not hired to separate our mail at end of day. Ok so hire someone to do that position. Instead he informs me of how many people they service ok isn’t that the job of the post office. When I go into to get my mail I usually get very little mail. I have not gone for five days and today the mgr gave me three pieces of advertising. I said I have not been here for five days he says will there should be some later really. So sorry post office has to work more because of broken mail boxes but we has home owners are also inconvenienced. Very sad how we are treated as if we ourselves broke our mailboxes. I do all my mail services in Rancho the Post Office is so much more considerate and so very polite
Even while being very busy and dealing with difficult customers before me, the ladies behind the counter were knowledgeable and always had an answer for any questions I had. I opened a PO Box and they were very informative.
Horrible. There’s no common sense. They shoved a box with priceless vinyl records in a Mailbox that doesn’t fit in the heat and the labeled glass. Nicked my finger trying to pull it out without damaging my package and it’s contents.Very poor performance and unprofessional. I would expect better than that.
Very fast service! Postal workers here are very efficient in their work, usually busy by late afternoon but they work quick and i can be in and out in no time. Lots of parking and close to other shops like grocery and stuffs, very accessible, also has a POBOX!
Have always treated me with excellent customer service in my ten years of shipping here. Dont believe the hype, have been helped by EVERY employee at this location, each with great quality service.

I have had post office workers that helped, post office workers that gave me kind suggestions with no help and rude employees. I pay for access to my post office box 24/7 but because people are sleeping inside the post office area they close the doors to access our mailboxes. They need to find a way for customers to access thier mail! Not receiving Medications and important mailI cant receive my mail unless I get there before 6:00pm some days theyre closed Sundays theyre supposed to have the doors open till 4:00pm and theyre closed. I have medications to get, different correspondence and obligations to receive and I cant get there every day because of medical conditions. Its ashame that their system has no regard for something so necessary in these trying times! Poor service, poor service, outrageous!⭐Find a way for us to have access to our mailboxes❕👎

Today I waited accross the street for the mailman to deliver! He took my mail & pulled forward! Then, he honked and waved me over and asked what my address was!My address is inside the mailbox door, on the curb & positive it was on the mail he picked up! Mail is important! The post office should hire people qualified to deliver efficiently!

He last couple of weeks I have not been receiving all y mail. The last week and a half the postal carrier and/or office postal workers have been dropping off my mail opened. And its the envelopes that look like it could be a check!! What the hell?? Watchm your mail and follow up on any personal mail with important information. Especially if you use this usps office. Help stop this government!

Mailbox broken into last night, pried open and lock busted,reported it and also called and was told mail would not be delivered but held, came home to my mailbox wide open and mail in it, thoroughly disgusted with the extremely poor service and lack of protection of my personal mail. I shipped a package from AZ and it was undeliverable for some reason. When I called this PO, a girl named Linda was exemplary. She found the package and placed it on a 10 day hold for the recipient to pick it up. Fast, professional service and with a chipper, happy attitude. Thank you Linda.
Had to drop by the post office to ship off and item I sold on Mercari. There was plenty of parking and not much of a line when I showed up. Shipping my item was a breeze since I had a prepaid label. I just handed over the item, they gave me my receipt and that was it. Smooth, simple process, couldnt have been any easier.
When I called the guy on the phone was rude as hell and kept saying I was wrong and I had wrong information and he would not listen at all. They were overall rude as hell
Horrible experience I went today at noon to have my package shipped out . When it was my turn I was called into the Hispanic ladies line I’m saying this because this lady gave me horrible horrible customer service but that’s not why I’m writing this review today . I am writing it because THIS LADY BURPED ON MY FACE TWICE ! It was absolutely disgusting. She showed no sign of remorse and actually laughed. Why on earth would you change mailbox keys on entire neighborhoods during a pandemic? You just forced dozens of people out of their homes during a state and county stay at home order. Could you have tried to deliver the keys or just waited???
I am looking to make a transition to UPS or FedEx as much as possible. I have stayed with USPS for years because of price, but like the old saying goes You get what you pay for.The mail pick up system is horrible. The range of time for pick up is way to wide. A mail pick up can sometimes be at 11:00 AM, or sometimes can be as late as 5:30 PM. Part of the problem is the mail trucks are so small they cant fit the packages in and have to go to their drop off location and then return. There is no way to schedule a pick up other than online, and pick up can sometimes be unreliable. I used to leave packages at our front door to simplify things, and to not have to wait all day for a pickup, but now because of many mail thefts, and being a victim of mail theft ourselves, we have to now have the USPS mail carrier knock on out door for the pick up. Which means we have to make sure someone is home between the hours of 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM everyday. Very inconvenient! Some might say well drop it off. We used to do that, but myself like many other patrons try to avoid the U.S. Postal office as much as possible. Some of the clerks are very rude, and sometimes will make me wait in line with about 40 packages at times, or if I place the packages on the counter will just let them sit there, which will make them an easy target for a theft.USPS has horrible systems in place, and customer service is not in their vocabulary.

They are forever leaving my mail in my neighbors boxes and their mail in my box. We have to be handing it to each other. Often important packages of mine have been lost also. When I try calling the post office here in Fontana they rarely ever answer or keep me on hold forever so I just prefer to hang up. They need to hire a whole new team of people who actually do the job.
I went 3 months ago to cancel a change address that supposedly I did and filled out what they told me then waited I went in again to ask what was the hold up and it turns out they never did anything! So my mail is still who knows where! And they just keep giving me the freaking run around
The worst postal service ever. For the last 3 years I have made complaints verbal and written about the mail woman not delivering my mail to my house. This included packages and regular mail theat get delivered to a Home 2 blocks away with the same number address but different street name. Ive even made complaints to main headquarters and nothing has been done. All I keep getting is the run around. I once ordered a package and my tracking on my phone told me it arrived, I check my front door and went to my mailbox and nothing. I saw the mail woman coming from 2 blocks away and I confronted her. I asked her if she delivered a package that belong to me to the other house located 2 blocks away and she said let me go check. 1 minute later she comes around a corner with my package. I asked her to please start delivering my packages to my home instead of the other house. And still nothing gets done

I never got this kind of service at other USPS branches. But this USPS is a NIGHTMARE! For being part of gov dept that servicing the public in mailing/shipping and other services they provide or SHOULD PROVIDE, they are useless! No shipping tools or if there is, theyre teared or broken. Didnt they taught you to do inventory and stock up what you need to stock up since its also a retail store??! Hmm...They have no integrity, motivation or whatsoever in servicing their customers. Dont bother about customer service here...they got NONE!!!! COMPLETELY ZERO! Everyone got SUPER SOUR FACE! Manners as a human being are OF COURSE -->NONE! .So they finally changed the mailman we used to have, its been a about a year with the new mailman, and I can not complain, this mailman is wayyyyyy friendlier than the last, we do not receive open mail and he knocks in order to hand us our packages. As for the P.O. itself, well they are a bit slow, they have between 5 to 7 cashiers and they only open 2, I mean come on people, if you got 5 open 4 and if its 7 open 6 We the People DO NOT have all day to sit around waiting forever. I cant count the number of times I have walked out of this post office because it took so long. I thought today would be better as there was only one person in line ahead of me, but I was wrong. The clerk spent 15 minutes looking for a misplaced package. I dont understand why something is not done to improve customer service here? Its been years that it has been like this. Dont bother calling because most likely you will not get through the line. It will ring and ring. No one answers... Theyve lost our packages and marked it as delivered. I work from home so Im home all day and if my packages were delivered I would know. I never have issues with UPS or Fedex. I dread when my packages are delivered by USPS.
Didnt make the effort to knock on my door or ring my door bell even though I was at home all day. They just left the We missed you notice in the mailbox. Went to the USPS office, not enough clerks, over 20+ people in line and NO AIR CONDITIONING! Place stunk from everybodys collective odors. All becacsuse of a lazy mailman. Thanks!
This doesnt even deserve a one star but there is no option of giving it zero. This is the THIRD time one of my packages do not get delivered. I think the mail person is stealing because I just moved to Fontana and I used to live in Pomona and get all my mail. My tracking number says it was delivered but it wasnt so these people are thieves.
The USPS has always been reliable for me, even now that they are under attack by our own government. I ordered something on eBay and theyre delivering it after only one day, couldnt be happier with their continued excellent service.
Worst post office! The workers are unbelievably rude! The older man said he didnt have anything for me to ship my item in at all and even yelled at my mom about it when she went to look in the boxes, my mom found a box that fit my item and another worker there shipped it out for me, then a second time I went the older lady wouldnt let me ship my item because I didnt bring my own tape and I had to purchase their tape along with their box, she said the only way shed tape my item is if I paid more for priority.... dont go here go to another post office, waste of time!

Lines are always too long here. Best bet is to use Rancho post office. They are efficient there.
I ordered something off of amazon and this is the first time I used next day delivery. I try to track my order to only find out I cant track my order. I call the local post office to be put on hold for three whole minutes to get a busy line. How am I supposed to track my order if I cant track my order!!!

Our community mailbox has been broken into twice now and all this branch does is issue a repair request. The repairs just leave the box functional but weak. I am pursuing action above the local branch because of their horrible customer service.[UPDATE]We have since taken our mail service into our own responsibility by replacing the broken mailbox (16 slot community type). I have had nothing but delays and questions about our task. If you, the USPS cant do your job by providing us with a functional, safe, effective place to acquire our daily mail, then we are taking it away from you and doing it ourselves.The ONLY person who has been helpful to us is our postal delivery lady, thank God for her.
Absolutely awful place to try to conduct any logical business... postal employees (carriers) have gotten so lazy over the years, they should just cut, and just privatize the mail industry, knstead of continually bailing it out, for its lack of leadership and management. It certainly shows in the way our letter carriers conduct themselves... our neighborhood used to be great, and now our carriers, has become extremely useless... I believe she simply comes to work to collect her salary, while driving around in her truck, which must not have an exit door, unless she is calling it a day, because even with priority mail, it appears she cant find a way to remove herself from her truck, to actually make the delivery... instead, she types in her computer, that she attempted to deliver sadly, nothing more than a typical government employee, which could care less, working for a department that needs either major downsizing, or even better, complete elimination and privatization...
0 STARS!!!!! Several times Ive had a package listed as delivered only to find no package at my front door, no package in my mailbox and no key in my mailbox to open up the packages box. Im pissed! If Im paying for the package to be shipped to me, I expect it to be there. Shipping is not free. this is beyond ridiculous at this point. I HATE THIS POST OFFICE AND MY RETARTED A** MAILMAN!

Our post person isnt delievering the mail right...instead of OUR mail, he put other peoples mail in our box. So we tried to call the post office ..nothing but a busy signal . At this location on several locations the customer service is sub part, I dont find them helpful in the least. Just last week I called for all the business we give them and they werent sure about certified mail.... I mean this is their business! I actually had to call 4 postal locations and got varying answers. So sad.

I think the mail carriers which is in my neighborhood sometimes should have a handicap sticker on his truck because he is often too darn lazy to get out of that truck to put the mail in my mailbox.Even if he has to park behind a car to exit his vehicle.Ridiculous!!!!All do respect to anyone who is handicapped.This mail man has plenty of clearance at least 6-8 feet in front of the mailbox and he still wont get out of his vehicle to put the mail in my box sometimes.There should be a law against that.

Just hung up the phone after being on hold for 35 minutes. I asked for the supervisor and literally was on hold for 35 minutes. I was simply following up regarding a phone call we were supposed to receive from the supervisor regarding our mail delivery that never happened - supervisor never called. My wife was in the post office earlier and got terrible service as well. These people are ruthless.

My mail has not been delivered for a couple months now, I get other peoples mail, I get delayed mail which causes me to have a lot of late fees on bills, and NO one has done anything about it!!!!! I dont like leaving bad reviews but Im fed up. If I could give 0 stars I would. The customer service at this post office sucks, the phone rings for 3 minutes and then you get a busy tone. My package was supposed to be delivered on Saturday and was returned to sender because of an incorrect address. I checked the shipping information, called the store my items were being shipped from, called FedEx (package went from FedEx to USPS) and the 1-800 USPS number to confirm the shipping information and they all confirmed they had the correct information.I was told that maybe the driver wasnt my normal driver so maybe he didnt know which mailbox was mine. Never in my life have I had to put my mailbox number on an order. My only option now is to wait and see if its delivered tomorrow.

They send mail to the wrong house, they lose important legal documents, they lost a package when I dropped it off directly at the post office. How much worse can it get. They tried to lie to me in my face about a package label I purchased not having tracking update. Horrible, horrible, horrible service. This is by far the worst Post Office EVER! Over the years I have had problems with this Post Office delvering my mail to me on several times. I had a change of address and called all of my creditors about my change of address. This past Nov. 2014 I had two piece of import mail, from different people mailed to my P.O. Box around the first week of Nov. right before the Holiday, and I never received it. When I went to inquire about my important mail, I ask to speak to the Supervisor, and she act like she didnt wont to be bothered at all. I told her about the mail problem and she said that and I quoat What you want me to do about it, look through my Kristal ball. I ask for the 800 number and she never gave it to me. I thought If I got a P.O. Box that would ensure that I would get my mail, but not with this Post Office! Something should be done to better ensure that WE GET OUR MAIL!
This is the worst local post office that I have ever had. I consistently have the wrong mail delivered to me, I have lost packages and mail. I have complained repeatedly and the same problems persist. Why is it that just because we live in a bad neighborhood we deserve substandard postal services? I imagine the Rancho Cucamonga office has far fewer complaints.

I have not dealt with all the staff here, but one in particular was very rude. He certainly did not care about customer service.Also in regards to delivery it is too often where I get somebody elses mail. I just dont understand how this happens over and over.
Can I give less than 1 star?? Customer service is non existent. The people at the counter tell you to pick up your mail at the window but the people at the window tell you stand in line. Our mailbox was broken into 2 months ago and we HAVE to come and pick up our mail. They dont want to fix the box or help us at the the actual office. What are we supposed to do???

Our Community Mail Box was broken in-to steal the mail. The USPS and Particularly the Fontana, CA Post Office. I have contacted the USPs Investigations Service and so far they have been of little help. the CBU was broken into on or about Saturday 9-10-16. The following Monday or Tuesday, I spoke to the Mailman who said it may take a few weeks to fix. A Fontana PD policeman showed up and took pictures and created a Case # for the incident. I called US Postal Service Investigations, Linda Hart, she said there would be an investigation performed also. I sent her a reply, to which I have yet to hear from her or their Investigations.They claim, that we as private citizens are responsible for the maintenance, obviously, the security. I replied that, the was un-doable by private citizens. we can replace a single mail box, but we cannot replace repair or secure a Community Mail Receptacle.

Would be nice to receive my mail!! I have called and called left messages after messages for a call back from the post master and nothing. My packages were left 2 doors down he doesnt know who i am and was going to keep my packages all because the mail man cant read LETTERS or aparently doesnt know his alphabet. Pretty sad being a government employee. BUT AGAIN I WOULD LIKE TO RECEIVE MY MAIL AND NOT MY NEIGBORS AND WOULD LIKE MY PACKAGES THAT ARE CLEARLY LABLED WITH MY LETTER ON THEM TO BE LEFT AT MY HOUSE!!
What do you know, they lost my package and no apology even after calling 4 days in a row and visiting them twice. I was told they would look for it and call me but never did. Linda the one who was supposed to call me back clearly does not care about customer service. Just got final word to contact the person who mailed the package and check if they had insurance.

I am new to the community of Fontana now for 4 months and I still keep getting the previous owners mail. I have contacted the post office off Sierra several times to let them know whats going on and they assured me it would be taken care of. Now im trying to contact them again and again and they dont want to answer my phone calls and there is no voice mail where I can leave a message. This is truly poor customer service and I am disappointed in the post office of Fontana off Sierra. The only thing I can try to do is talk to the mail man who delivers my mail but thats hard to do when im at work 6 days out of the week. If the employees cant do their jobs right you should hire new employees who can handle the job and provide a great customer service to the people of Fontana. I had to write a review when I saw all the other reviews. The only thing negative about this post office is the parking lot and the small size of the building. there is another post office in south fontana as well maybe more people should use that one. The thing that makes this post office extremely negative is the people using it. People park or wait in the fire parking all the time backing up traffic because they are lazy and inconsiderate. Drive around if there is no parking it takes less than five minutes to go around the block and there is parking on the other side by the supermarket. For goodness sakes park and walk. Its not going to kill you.The only things that seem to make this place discourteous are the patrons. I run a business from home and the amount of people that have basic skills and severe attitude problems frequent this place a lot. If you come in being a jerk its no ones job to kiss your ass because you are unhappy or dont understand.I have never seen a clerk come at anyone with an attitude but have seen plenty of people become disgruntled because they didnt get the answers they wanted or like. You get what you give.I have been using this place almost daily for six years and the clerks are friendly and courteous. I would like to add that Susan is a lovely person who does her job well as well as the other clerks lisa jocelyn julie mo and roxanne. The other clerks are great too but their names escape me.Also I have had some issues concerning home delivery and when I have come in and talked to somebody things were cleared up.I think reviews are great but please consider all factors. Its easy to go off like an ass on the internet.
Ive tried calling this office all over the place during their hours on several different days. It doesnt matter if its 9 AM, 10 AM, or 2 PM, regardless of the day of the week, no one ever answers. Its like these people dont even go in to work.
Been here quite a few times and its always packed with people. Staff need to improve quite a bit more.
Mail pick up is really bad. Ive been to a lot of usps locations where you dont need to stand in the general customer service line to pick up. Here you do. Ridiculous.
They never answer the phone and i always have problems getting my mail at my new address. they are rude and their customer service is horrible.
The mailman put my package in the wrong mail box, I went to the post office to talk to the supervisor 3 times and every time she was rude, she kept saying Ill talk to the mailman and call you back, she never called back. Horrible supervisor, she needs to get fired.

This place is so disorganized its ridiculous! Mail pickup is a joke due to broken in mailbox. Each time you go there its the run around trying to pick up your mail. Either stand in the front line or go to the side. I have went to the side and then the person tells me they arent getting the mail pickups only to lose my place in the long front line. Went today and they told me they had no mail for me so my box must be fixed. Get home and mailbox isnt fixed. Its an inconvenience to have to drive here just to be given the run around!
I sell things online and I have delivered more than 50 packages now and none of them have ever gone lost.The customer service is okay considering that there is always a huge line! But always manges to get things done.
