I really enjoyed the overall experience during my orientation. EXCELLENT INSTRUCTORS!Cant say enough about these men and women who go above and beyond the call of duty!!! Actually, all of the staff provides Class A Service 👍Thank you again!

For orientation the company put us up in a hotel that is super trash and in the ghetto. Homeless people walking around everywhere. The hotel breakfast they serve us is an Apple or Orange and a granola bar. Coffee is completely out and no, Cereal, OJ or Milk. When I reported this to my recruiter, her only response was “wow”. They also took our rental vehicles away from us and did not give us an option of a shuttle van to take us (The class) around to purchase daily dinner, groceries or last minute products prior to getting on the road. Lunch has been the same thing three days in a row, (little caesers pizza) that’s been making our stomach’s hurt daily. No opportunity for healthy lunch options too bring our own food. The company states that they care about their drivers but the lack of transportation to include daily breakfast and lunch options say otherwise. Other than that the Instructors are good to go, enjoyed the in class room and hands on experience.

The time I was attending R.M.D.S at Werner I had great instructors helping me and motivating me to complete the course and starting a new career. Thank u every one for helping me get into a new career.

I might have to go change my glasses again. Granted me and my trainer got off to a rocky start, it leveled out. What do you expect when sticking two people in a small space at first. Having said that, some of these comments are crazy. I go to the Fontana Terminal, and its decent. They speak to you with respect, and do their best placing you in a winning situation. If youre not good with your trainer, speak on it and they will get you another. Not too many companies willing to take a chance on new drivers, so Im grateful.

Very professional environment to learn in.Would have given 5 stars if not for the rude security guard on duty! However Im not there to learn security... Ill be attending there program!

I believe the simulator instructors name was Alan. This man did a great job of walking you through how the simulator works, experienced driver or new. He has spent time with many different levels of drivers and knows how to communicate with them.Wish the washers would be clean. Sometimes I get the impression that drivers wipe their clothes on a fifth wheel after drying off their dog, who was rolling in a nearby bush, and then use the washer.

The parking is tight at the fontana location and they have giant craters in their parking lot disguised as pot holes that need serious attention. The gate situation is a little confusing it was flooding when I visited and after getting to the exit gate had to back up and return to front gate because it wasnt working. The guards are always super friendly and fun to chat with.

Anyone interested in the family dollars flex account i post photos of each store. You guys can Google stores and maybe I have been there. You can see what it looks like and how to get in. Please be careful. I just posted these pictures recently. The oldest one is probably 3 weeks old. I also post pictures of shippers in case someone is heading there. I obviously dont get paid for this its just to make sure I can help out another driver. to avoid problems for us. You guys can msg me for any advice or something. Obviously dispatch varies. On the dollar flex account my DM was useful and never bothered me even had me preassigned all week he was amazing. He has years doing this I guess id gladly work with him anytime. I recently got on starbucks maybe 2 weeks and Im already leaving like I said dispatch varies. When you hear someone say I know what Im doing I have 1 year experience lol just know its going to probably be a bad experience. Im going otr. Ill keep posting pictures to help anyone new keep us safe and stuff. If you got a load just goigke each store and look up the layout works with receivers as well. At least that way your not going in blind. I know we all wanna get our money and get out. My buddy recently join too i wasnt a trainer at the time but I did do team driving with him. Now hes doing loads every week getting stuff done. Im hoping I never get to a million miles.

Worst terminal I have ever been too! Go somewhere else if you want to get promoted out in a day or two...not a week and have to wait all day in the lobby. Also took them two days for someone to actually do what they said they were going to do after two other people asked why I was still there.

Dont go to them if you make a scrap on your truck from making a very tight 90 degree turn and you doing the right thing by reporting it also having someone spot you they will state you hit another vehicle which is very misleading and can ruin your career... if they were a honest company they would be vague on your dac reports especially when other companies use that on you.

Please stay away from working for Werner at all costs! Its just not worth the hassle!!I hope whoever reads this knows that nothing I say in this review is falsified, and that it is all 100% true and 100% of what I experienced.I started my first day of training on about the 18th of October. That first trainer was a nightmare and I literally felt kidnapped, he didnt let me eat, didnt let me go to the bathroom, and then stops for the night at a gas station in the middle of no where and expects me to find something in there to eat... So I went home.Next trainer was assigned about a week later, had him for about 3 days but every night hed expect me to sleep while he drove. I got severely car sick every night so I ended up staying awake in the passenger seat, which ate into my sleep time and I only ended up getting 4-6 hours of sleep per night, which of course took a toll on me. So I got off his truck as well. (This is how Werner will train you by the way. Theyll expect you to learn on your own while your trainer sleeps, even on the first damn day of your trainer).I told Werner about all of this above, and they took statements about it. I then requested that I be on a solo + 1 truck (where both you and the trainer never team drive and both sleep at the same time at night) because of my car sick issue. They said thats fine and that Im not the first one... All this time they kept me on payroll so I thought everything would be fine.Well, on Monday morning (11/06/17), I got assigned a trainer that is a solo + 1 type. But, on Tuesday morning (11/07/17), I get a call from Robert at this terminal, telling me that the trainer has another student right now, and wont be here for about 1-2 weeks. Robert also said, in the meantime, we are taking you off payroll.I fought so many people in corporate and the terminal over that decision, including someone who Robert had call me, payroll, student department, and even Robert himself... All I get told is that because of my special needs, and because this trainer is the only trainer company wide, even though Im assigned to him, I have to wait for him to get here, and theyre not gonna pay me for that kind of waiting.. Thats almost $1,000 taken from me over the companies problem! I dont understand why Im being discriminated against on this. Just so everyone knows, Werner claims theyll pay you while you wait for your trainer. Thats the only reason Im complaining is because a promise was made and now its not kept! Heck my friend got put on the normal list 2+ weeks ago and STILL hasnt been assigned, but is still getting paid. Im assigned, but get taken off because hes not here yet?! And their answer to that one is thats a different situation. Ha!At this point I am quitting and going to CreteThanks for taking the time to read my review and, I hope this will help someone when deciding who to work for.

Based on how caring, kind and efficient the office staff was, the excellent upkeep of the building and the knowledgeable instructor I expected more from my driving experience with Werner. I didnt last a month. Did I last a week? I may not have. All I remember is the dirty truck that went through the wash twice and the first job they gave me I told them upfront that I would run out of time waiting to unload. They had me hitting morning traffic all the way through Los Angeles County then Evening traffic through the Bay area. I wanted to wait 2 hours and they said, no. I ran out of hours sitting at the dock and had to drive 2 hours, on my time, to get to the closest place I could park. Then I sat in Reno, on I-80, for 2 days for them to send me back to LA empty. I dont think I took another trip with them again.

Getting to know more about my kiddos new career and everyone here is just terrific!Large screen TV for watching, arcades (pinball), vending machines, sleep/quiet rooms for drivers, shuttle service, 24/7 mechanics and great office staff!I couldnt be more pleased with the new career path my kiddo has chosen!

Great company

Werner will pay to have you come to there orientation but if something does not work out it is the drivers responsible to find his or her way home regardless how far away. This practice was abandoned years ago after drivers cut from companies trying to get died or were killed just trying to get home to their families.

Horrible terminal!guard has no information,no shuttles running on weekends,nobody in the office to answer any queries.its up to you to figure out what to do there.

Office personnel are nice. Mechanics do their best to keep the trucks in good running order. Can be a little difficult to get to entrance because of traffic going to warehouses across the street.

The local workers here are great, but the dispatchers in Omaha are absolutely insane. Paul Kastl and Matt Love were the most sadistic managers Ive ever had in my life. Absolutely sadistic.

Warner enterprises does not care about their drivers they treat them Like youre nothing you drive for them so thats all they care they dont care about your happiness as a truck driver they dont care about your safety as a truck driver even their safety guy name will with a white Beard will call you a punk a** if you dont talk to him because hes a sensitive guy. How do I know this because I used to work for them after I saw all they care about their drivers I quit. Im not the only one

Arrived to pick up a fleet sales truck. Sales staff was rude and disrespectful. Was worse customer service I have experienced this year.If you must buy a truck from this company, I suggest having a certified technician do a thorough inspection before signing. Wouldnt reccomend dealing with this terminal sales staff.

I like this terminal i considered like my house i was really happy with working woth werner but im lost my job in last February

The terminal is great but my regional managers from Omaha were psycho. They would intentionally flip shifts from day to night to punish workers by sleep depriving us, and also constantly harassed myself and those around me. If I behaved the way my managers behaved I would be arrested and given a restraining order. That is completely unacceptable behavior.

Got me there under guise of specific route and pay. Went through orientation to find out I had to go through a driver placement hotline and wait list, also I was never placed on waiting list for route promised. Was told hey youre already here and done with orientation why not go on this lower paying route farther from your state and route area, we will figure something out. Im done playing games with companies like this. Who are they kidding with the wolf cries of a driver shortage.

If your a student driver be prepared to do all the work. The pay is terrible. Beyond a non livable wage. Your truly just a number at this company. Dispatchers will lie to you in a heartbeat and tell you whatever you wanna hear to keep those wheels rolling. Expect to sit at gas stations at least 4 days out the week in the middle of know where. Find a better company if your new to the business.

This place is nasty. You go to the Phoenix terminal and it’s very clean and well kept. This terminal has cigarette butts all over, cracked pavement and potholes, and people smoke even in non-smoking areas so there’s no where to go for non smokers. Werner should be embarrassed to have a terminal like this when Phoenix is so nice.Edited to add that they made us wait 4 hours to get a hotel when they knew the truck wouldn’t be fixed until tomorrow. Wait for 4 hours for no reason. All these other reviewers are right. Werner sucks!!!!!

Good facility especially the main terminal, the service bays and repair shop are a little outdated. There currently have permits submitted to the planning department that are waiting on approval so they can build new shops which is on the agenda at Werner

Werner is a great company. Their mechanics know their job and are enthusiastic concern g getting your rig fixed when it breaks down.

Been here 5 years. Now an O/O. Decent miles and okay pay if i could keep my truck out of the shop. Dont leave your nice keychain on when getting work done lest it become lost. Werner should install awnings over the personal vehicle parking area so when parked for months at a time, minimal debris and zero sun damage will result. My car cover was destroyed by the heat of the sun making it susceptible to tearing from even the slightest tug. Cant afford to keep buying more when my truck is in and out of the shop.

Terrible company to work for!! Im the wife of a truck driver that is employed here. The pay is horrible and I never see my husband. Hes home for a day and a half a week. We had a child last year and they dont even offer payed time off for new fathers, or even maternity time off for mothers! He wasnt able to have any home time to spend getting to know our newborn daughter. Hes worked for two different accounts and both accounts are ran terribly, the trailers are packed with loose boxes that topple over on to him and hes even been injured because of this! This company does not care about there employees and I cannot wait for the day that he can leave this place for good!
