Balkens has some of the best customer service I have seen. They are very professional and did a great job fixing up my car. When I went in they fixed my passenger door so I could open it and put a cover over my headlight so it didnt go out, all before I made the appointment to bring my car in to be fixed up after the accident I had. They also have loaner vehicles for people to use, which is very nice if you dont have coverage for them on your insurance. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

I was introduced to Byron @ Balkens Auto after seeing the shops name for many years as I traveled to & from work. If the company wasnt a name nationally known, I avoided it like the flu b/c of bad past experiences with other private auto shops.I was shocked that Byron did not try to bamboozle me with the old, We have to check it out first and then give a high quote and a list of preventive services needed. Byron did one up. He told me exactly what he was going to do and what my charge would be. Once my bill came, it was exactly as promised. Rare for an auto mechanic shop, especially in a pandemic when their business is slower.The work was excellent! Byron was honest. The repair was quick and on the date it was promised. The rep. in the office was polite and nice. And they even sent me a Culvers gift card as a courtesy! Never, ever had that been done before! Balkens Auto Service Rocks!

Has done excellent work on our camper both times. We had a bad leak with the roof, then required replacing roof. Looks like new. They take the time to make sure it is done correctly. Very professional group of people. Have referred several friends to them and they were equally pleased.

I have never had a better experience working with a shop. It was so painless. I dropped my Elantra off for damage done to the right rear and was handed a loaner. My car was done in about a week even though it was over Thanksgiving. There was a small bump when I got my vehicle back that ended up having absolutely nothing at all to do with what they did, yet they made sure I was happy and took it in to Hyundai for me and let me have a loaner again. I didnt have to deal with the insurance company at all once I handed it off to them. If I could give them more then 5 starts I would!

Very good job working with the owner Byron. My Chrysler 200 2016 needed work and it all went extremely well. We thought our vehicle only needed a bumper come to find out it had much more damage than the eye can see. Byron walked us through the process and called us at least every other day while the parts for our car came in to keep us updated. He worked with our insurance company and during the entire time We were driving his 2019 jeep cherokee as a courtesy vehicle. It took a week but it was all worth the wait. The ONLY reason I am giving four stars is because of how rude the technician is. He doesnt know how to deal with customers. But Byron stood by his word and went above and beyond for our satisfaction and also gave a follow up phone call. I recommend this place to anyone with body damage to their vehicle. Despite the technician I WILL return. THANKS BYRON!!!!Ive attached photos so you can see the excellent job that was done.

Excellent Body Shop, When you want it done right the first time!

Had a slight accident with my Explorer. This is the third time we have used Balkens for our repairs with excellent results each time. Hopefully we wont need to see him anytime soon but I would highly recommend this place for the quickness of service, the excellent workmanship and the ease of the overall process.

When I got in an auto collision and needed work done quickly, the first two places I called had at least a week long wait before they could even get me in. A friend suggested Balkens, and they were able to get my vehicle in the same day and provide fast, professional and friendly service. I havent had any issues since. They did an amazing job not only on my car but making me feel like i was part of the process. From day one when i came for an estimate they broke down what parts my car needed every process of the repair from parts to paint explaining it in the simplest terms, and when it came to working with my insurance i had no problems they did all the work for me and all i had to do was drop off the car. their standards are high and quality is the utmost important for their crew. i would recommend them highly for anyone looking for a great mechanic.

Balkens did a GREAT job on my 2013 Honda Pilot. I needed a new bumper skin and tail light, and Balkens did it in a very timely manner. I really apperciated that they offered me a loaner car. Out of all the estimates I got I chose them because the owner noticed my fender was also dented in by the light, and they were very reasonably priced.

I have utilized the services at Balkens Auto Body several times. I had a Honda Accord that needed a complete paint job due to being keyed all the way around the car. That car looked brand new when we got it back from Balkens. I have also had them do paint work on a Chevrolet Suburban and the color match was perfect. Their shop has done maintenance work on vehicles for us as well. From oil changes to an engine swap, a transmission swap and more, they have been there for us. You can count on them to do the work correctly, keep you informed of progress or changes, and get you the results you are looking for. I needed my truck fast and I got it back fast. It was done quickly and Balkans helped me cut through the insurance red tape because I have never dealt with insurance people before. The repair on my SUV was done quickly and looks as good as new. They handled the insurance company matters seamlessly, sparing me all that hassle. In addition to a flawless repair they made the whole matter less of an inconvenience than it could have been. I recommend them highly.

Owner will go above and beyond for the customer and does detailed quality work may be a smaller shop and a little bit off the path but you wont be disappointed in the work or being treated like a customer.

I needed some body work repairs performed on one of my vehicles and decided to blindly give Balkens a try since theyre close to where I live and were well reviewed. With that being said, Id like to pay it forward and vouch for the work I had done. First of all, Im very cognizant of both my vehicle and any work performed on it. Cars are one of my hobbies and passions so taking a leap of faith with this business gave me a lot of anxiety since Ive experienced my fair share of subpar customer service and work.Zack handles the calls and rough estimates; hes a pleasant, patient, and a professional guy to work with. Scheduling and communication was both swift and considerate of my personal schedule. Byron is the owner who double serves at managing the business. His years of experience doing this sort of work played a significant role in me bringing my vehicle here. I did appreciate the fact that as demanding as their workload is, I could talk face to face with him and not feel like I was getting blown off. The fact this is a smaller family owned business made me feel more comfortable that my vehicle wasnt just another quick job by a high turnover staff trying to maximize shop throughput.Most of my work involved body panels repaired/repainted in addition to some personal requests. Repairs and repainting included both plastic and sheet metal. Excluding part lead times, the work took approximately (and appropriately) a couple weeks after I explicitly told them to take their time. When I took delivery of my vehicle I couldnt tell where they repainted and my vehicle currently looks as good as new. I did notice some plastic clips werent fully pushed in, fit as snug, and replaced some OEM ones I originally had on the vehicle, but this was pretty petty in the grand scheme of things and by no means am I upset.Overall, Im happy with how the work turned out and how I was treated. I cant vouch for three stage paint blends, welding, or unibody/frame repairs, but Id definitely continue to do business here. If you value quality work and/or are going through insurance Id recommend Balkens.

We had front end damage, to the body and some components inside the engine compartment. Balkens Auto Body took care of all the communication with our insurance company, and did a great job with the repair, both mechanically and the body work. I would recommend them for any job you have!
