I had tooth pain and the receptionist was so kind to try and get me in as soon as possible. I have a very busy work schedule and I was very grateful they were able to work with me. Staff very friendly and my dentist very kind.

They are not dentists, but sales team of Medicredit, a credit card company. Please be ready to be overcharged and given the run around, like what they did to me. This is happening for 2 months now. Root cause is just 2 basic issues1) Over charging customers more than 2 times the limit specified by Insurance2) Non reversal of charges that are paid off.To keep it short, I was not given an exact out of pocket cost, based on my insurance. Nor was I given the option to pay my bills at a later date after verifying my responsibility with my issuer.The dollar amount quoted to me was very high (more than 1200$ - may be affordable for some, but I was multiplying that by the number of members in my family which doesnt seem affordable) making me choose the option of applying for care credit unnecessarily.After I got the EOB from the Issuer, I called up Great Expressions and they confirmed that it was a mistake done at the clinic and I was overcharged and I will be re-paid - The rep even asked for my card details to put the 700$ back into my account. The staff did not even apologize for the mistake and went about with nonchalance.I was able to reach some better employees the next time like Michelle and Georgia (Area Ops Manager) who promised to look into my issue and get me a refund. But alas, they could only give me standard template responses that their AR team is looking into it.Their clinics administration does not seem to follow up on refunding the amount that they overcharged their customers in first place.Will see if this catches their attention.

I’m shocked this place has great reviews. My wisdom teeth started coming in so I scheduled an appointment for cleaning and a consultation about them. I was rushed from room to room several times and saw about 3-4 different hygienists/dentists. They explained to me I needed some serious dental work including bone grafted. This was going to cost thousands. They took x-rays which I then had my uncle look over who owns a dental practice in Palo Alto, California. He said he didn’t see anything that needed to be done as I had zero cavities. He recommended I go see someone else. I explained what my experience was like at Great Expressions and he said it sounds like the type of place that are really just trying to make money off of you. They get their patients in and out fast and charge them for unnecessary procedures. I then went to a different dentist who took a look at my teeth and said they look better than 95% of his patients.

When we first went here the place was good. Great hygienist, quick and kind. Over the years they seemed to have more staff and dentist working out of the office each time we went. Eventually it felt like a cattle farm and less and less time spent individually with you and just trying to get you in a chair so you can pay them.Had issues with a family member getting a cavity only to find out a week later they should have given them a root canal and crown instead. The cavity work wasnt refunded and eventually the temp crown broke off and had to wait a few weeks for an appt to get the final crown on even though they had the crown for weeks. Plenty of other stories that reflect the negative experiences there.Really let down, there are some nice people working there but overall the company felt like it was looking to get people in and out more than making the appointments better.

I highly recommend Tamara (Hygienst) she is awesome!!! She has been our hygienst for years now and my kids absolutely love her. The staff is amazing and very helpful!!

Dr. Sanchez and the Dental Hygienist were so beyond patient and careful with my 5 year old. He was very nervous about going to the Dentist but they eased him and made the experience fun for him. Im glad we found them. Thank you!

I was in terrible pain and dentist told me she did not Know what I had, she refered me to an Endodontist; also gave a treatment plan of more of 20 dental work, that I DO NOT NEEDED.Next Day I went to another Flower Mound Dental clinic and they finded very Quick what my problem was and took away my terreble pain.

Jenny Revis is literally the best assistant, she’s super caring and wants to make sure you have the best experience, she definitely makes you want to come back .Tamara Scott always does a wonderful job of making you feel comfortable and welcome.

Dentistry: OkayOrthodontics: NO.I would not recommend this place for orthodontist care as they have a team that goes only every other Thursday, its not flexible or convenient and this wasnt disclosed to me when I got my braces. It is something I uncovered only when I tried making an appointment a different day of the week.I had several bad experiences, I did not like it here at all.

Went in for a cleaning and Erin was the assistant who got me prepped and took my x-rays . She was super knowledgeable and easy to work with. I told her Im not a fan of the dentist and she was so accommodating to put my mind at ease. Will definitely be going back.

Who likes to go to the dentist- or worse, the periodontist, for oral surgery???!!! (Like going to hell for several hours, certainly worth a few days off in purgatory...) I was having major stuff done and was VERY vocal about all of it, how much I hate the dentist, the thought of everything, dont tell me, just do it. Absolute yeach all the way around...From start to finish, I cannot say nicer things about Danielle, Dr. Obando, or Raven. The regular office staff was also sweet as could be, understanding, nodding, commiserating.Tips for major mouth surgery- I asked for the lead shield blanket to be laid over me during the procedure (the weight acts like a Thunder shirt for dogs, and is calming... it really helps! I felt a little more protected.) Danielle tapped my shoulder to distract me as I was filled full of novacaine...a LOT of novacaine. That was a huge help too. Ask for shoulder or arm tapping during novacaine, the brain cannot handle too much stimuli at once...at least mine cant! I wore headphones the whole time, with loud podcasts playing. I asked them to tap me on the shoulder if I had to do anything or answer a question.A day later, I survived, and have minimal pain...of course, I also did natural childbirth, and walked around on a broken leg for 6 months, so what do I really know.Bottom line, these are good folks who do complicated things well.

I have been a patient at Great Expressions in Flower Mound for 2 years now and I am very happy with my experience. All of the staff are very nice. The dental assistant Michelle is great at doing the X-rays, she is friendly and pleasant and makes it more comfortable. The dental hygienist Tamara is also very friendly, explains everything in detail and is great at helping with any problems you have.

I had my wisdom teeth surgically removed here a couple of months ago. Right before the extraction, the manager informed me that it would cost me $3000 out of pocket. I thought it was strange and asked about insurance, and apparently they had booked me with a dentist that didnt accept my insurance (cigna) without telling me ahead of time. I had already been there several hours at that point and the manager had called in a prescription for pain meds, so I was too embarrassed to walk away and waste my friends time (they drove me).The procedure was fine, but when we went to pick up my pain meds, we found out the manager had neglected to call them in. So there I was, bleeding PROFUSELY from my mouth and in quite a lot of pain, so I call the dentist office. Their reply? Theyd call the meds in when they got around to it. Thats actually what they said. It took FIVE HOURS for my prescriptions to come through. Five. Hours. And they only prescribed enough for two days.Fast forward to a week ago and I was looking for something else entirely on the Cigna website. What do I find? The insurance claim for my wisdom teeth extraction. Why is this a big deal, you ask? Because according to the statement, I should have only been charged around $550. I contacted my insurance and they confirmed that the statement was correct. So not only did this office show horrendous patient care, but they also over-charged my around $2500. Ive been trying to get in contact with the person in charge of billing since then, and somehow theyre never available when I call. Ive been told three times now that someone would call me back about a refund, and I have yet to hear from anyone. At this point Im questioning the integrity and legality of how they do business.

Just had my quarterly cleaning. Always a great experience in spite of the circumstance of have unpleasant tasting things painted on your teeth. The Hygienist is such a pleasant, kind person encouraging you to relax and explaining every detail of what you might experience. You know that there is truly concern for your well-being and for helping you to keep your teeth as healthy as possible even though you have already had receding gums and lots of crowns. You don’t feel like you are really old because you are treated so kindly. Thumbs up for Great Expressions!

In late 2018 I needed some dental work done. I contacted Great Expressions at 3424 Long Prairie Road in Flower Mound Texas, to discuss becoming a member of their discount dental plan.Subsequently, I join the plan and made an appointment to have a crown replaced. After the crown work was complete it was agreed that a root canal was required on the same tool. Due to this the crown was attached using a temporary cement since the dentist that does root canal is only in this facility one day a week and I would have to return.When I returned to have the root canal procedure the dentist could not get the crown off so she drilled through the crown. They then told me I would need another new crown to replace the one they just drilled through and I was to pay AGAIN to have done.Prior to having the initial crown work done I was quoted approximately $625 for the work (because I spent $150 to join the discount plan). They charged me $800 for the crown.Prior to the root canal I was quoted $600 for the work (you can still see on their website these costs for the procedures) and was charged $1137. I paid with my credit card and basically threw it at the office manager who had an attitude that I was only there to serve her....I was the client/patience and was not impressed being lied to about the costs.Today I had to returned to the dentist because the same tooth the root canal procedure was done on was having pain. As a matter of fact the pain never left even after the procedure.The dentist that did the crown originally said she would replace it since it had not worked out the first time. Within 10 minutes the office manager was in my face telling me I would be financially responsible for the second crown and she could not allow me to come in her office and disrupt it....how professional, lie to me about costs, the procedure does not work, ruin the previous crown and expect me to pay again for another one and then give me attitude.So in summary; I spent approximately $2100 ($150 for plan/$1137 for root canal and $800 for ruined crown) and I still have the original pain.In my opinion this company should be avoided no matter what.

Dont have dental insurance? Great Expressions has an inexpensive, great value plan for you! I mean I used to hate going to the dentist until I discovered Great Expressions. The expenses are minimal. The professionals here care alot about your teeth! And, the ambiance is so much fun. Hope to see you there next time!

This office offers the best quality of care for my entire family from my nervous husband to my 2 year old. I would recommend them to all my family and friends. The experience from the back to front is always exceptional. Angelica at the front desk always greets me with a smile on her face. You also rarely wait more than a few minutes in the waiting room. When taken back, all the assistants greet me and take care of me as if I am family. The hygienist Tamara is the best. She has the most infectious laugh and makes you feel at home. Dr Jyothi is the sweetest and most genuine dentist I have ever had. She really cares about the patient and what is best for them. The check out process with Kenya is always painless and quick. Overall the office has the best environment and the best interest of all their patients. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

If I could give this establishment 0 stars I would. I made an appointment to get a cavity filled. I explained on the phone how much pain I was experiencing and the phone call ended with me under the impression that all parties were aware of what my appointment was made for. I arrived at the office today, got my cleaning and discussed some fluoride treatments. The doctor came in and confirmed that I did in fact have a cavity. “Ok great, so we’re going to fill it now, right?” I ask nervously, because no one loves going to the dentist. But she responded that my appointment was only for a cleaning and no, they would not be doing anything to fix my aching tooth because she has other appointments lined up. I would need to come back at a later date for them to work on anything. I’m not quite sure what happened when Great Expressions took over, but this place sucks now. I’m so glad that I took a day off of work to come here for this pointless office visit. They are unprofessional, have extreme communication issues, and don’t seem to care about their patients well being. Congratulations, you’ve lost my entire family’s business. I would like to point out that the hygienist who worked on me was super sweet and deserves to work somewhere much better.

Great clinic and outstanding delightful staff. Dr. Dona and Tamara are very knowledgeable and excellent at what they do. Tamara was very thorough with my deep cleaning and very entertaining to keep my mind off any discomfort or nervousness. She wouldnt let me off her chair until she made sure that she got everything. She would even do a simple check with a floss towards the end to make sure that she got rid of all the built up calcium and would go over it again if she found anything. Didnt feel rushed with her like I felt with my previous dentists who never spend that much time on my cleaning just so they can get a higher turnover. Dr. Dona is very skilled with her injections and root canals. She made me a new crown instead of the defective one I had from a previous dentist, and that crown feels much much better. The whole experience was painless and fun for sure! Thank you guys so much, youre definitely my go-to clinic from here on!

She was through, very personal with great information about how to keep my Oral hygiene from creating problems. She has great cleaning skills without the pain. No cavities or infections. Was praised for the condition of how well my teeth and gums looked. No plaque build up.. waited for the cleaning. Then told(same visit) that I have infection pockets and needs a deep clean. They are not allowed to offer the regular cleaning, but if I had time they could deep clean me today..Oh yeah and its over $700.Funny they told us the same exact thing..and I mean exact same wording!! When we had my son in a few weeks before..They are scam artisits... be warned!!

This week I went to Great Expressions Dental Center for my routine twice/year visit. I have gone there for the last several years. They are recently under new ownership. I was very pleased to see that they continue to provide the same great service, reasonable prices, and best of all – they maintained all their staff. Dr. Jyothi completed my exam with great professionalism. The office staff are organized, friendly, and efficient. The hygienist, Tamra, has taken care of me for several years.
