Dropped in while on a business trip. I called ahead and spoke with Ryan and got some details about the class schedule and loaner gi. I participated in a class led by junior instructor Michael. I arrived about 30 min before class and the rest is history... I had an absolute great experience and one of the most welcoming jiujitsu experience ever. I could write so many great things, but you just need to go an experience it for yourself. Thank Ryan and thank you Michael.

Kama Jiu-Jitsu is the ONLY place that I would want to learn self defense from. They are very friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. Best place in Texas hands down.

I dropped by Kama in Flower Mound Texas last week and it was exactly what i expected after watching Ryan on this channel for months. I wish i got more time to train but circumstances didnt let it happen. The judo class was really dopeeee. The Sensei wasnt there but Zach was great and patient with someone who was not skilled in takedowns at all. The next hour adult class was great too. I enjoyed the self defense aspect of the sport. The guys were skilled and knowledgeable. Every time I plan to visit home, I will take at least one class to add to my belt. If you guys ever get a chance to be in the DFW area, drop by the studio.

Professor Ryan Young is the real deal, having trained under Professor Dave Kama, who received his black belt from the legendary Grandmaster Rickson Gracie. This is the real Gracie Jiu Jitsu taught by great instructors. I started training at another location a year ago and discovered the truth that Brazilian jiu jitsu is sport/competition focused and not the same jiu jitsu created, perfected and passed down by Helio Gracie and his family. Gracie Jiu jitsu is the traditional art focused on self-defense and what I wanted to learn from the get go. Once I discovered this, and having found Professor Young and Kama Jiu Jitsu here in Texas, I knew I needed to switch schools and couldnt be happier. Theres no better place to train and study the gentle art of Gracie Jiu Jitsu in Texas.
