Marathon came out to our house last week to repair our refrigerators ice system. When the technician left the refrigerator was still not functioning correctly. I have called Every day with no response. I am not sure I would use them again.I will follow up on the situation and see if their responsd. Stay tuned

We called this company because our go to appliance repair man was out of town. Had them come look at our icemaker in the refrigerator as it stopped working. We had bought a replacement icemaker and it wouldnt work either so we called them. They charged us $97 to come out and tell us a part on the replacement icemaker was faulty and we should return it. Told us if that doesnt work to give them a call back. I have called and left them 2 messages last week. I tried contacting them from their website and have also sent an email to the technician who came out in the first place. No reply from any outlet. Dont waste your time or money with this absolutely unresponsive, unprofessional business.

This is a total rip-off.My dishwasher was not drying dishes but was washing them fine. The technician opened the flood sensor without cutting-off the water and electric supply. As a result, water seeped-in into the bottom tray that houses the heating assembly The dishwasher started displaying leak detected error and would not start now. He gave me an estimate of $250 to replace the flood sensor which costs $24 and another $350 to replace the heating assembly and he is not even sure if that would resolve the problem. So, asking me to pay for the stuff that he broke. This dishwasher is less than 4 years old.I then asked him to check my refrigerator as the ice maker was not working. he used a temperature gun to check the temperature, peeks at the back of the refrigerator and tells me that the compressor needs to be changed which would be $1300-$1400 +and we can then figure out if there are other problems. The refrigerator is also less than 4 years old.He charged me $130 for the diagnostics in which he broke my dishwasher and did not do anything with the refrigerator. Stay away from them if you do not want to be ripped-off

Accurate and quality service.

I dislike writing negative reviews but due to the lack of not calling back after several attempts I would highly discourage anyone from using them as communication is key in any service industry.

Rob with Marathon Appliance was great to work with! He returned my phone call quickly and got me in the next day to fix our dryer. He kept me informed while he was working on the dryer and gave me a quote before he did any work. We would highly recommend and will be using Rob again for any future needs.

Marathon did an excellent job in repairing my refrigerator that quit on me suddenly. The technician came out the same day that I called and quickly assessed the problem. He ordered parts immediately and returned a few days later to perform the work and get me up and running again.The technician was prompt, professional, extremely knowledgeable and really nice. I also know that he was honest because my brother has his license in refrigeration repair back east and I consulted with my brother about the work and costs.This is the second time that I have used Marathon Appliance and I will definitely use them again in the future. They go the distance!

Our secondary old refrigerator was overheating. Rob came the next day (because I told him same day wasn’t necessary since it wasn’t our kitchen fridge), diagnosed the issue, ordered the part needed, was upfront about pricing and diagnosing any other problem we might have had (which we did not), and had very fair pricing. Would use him again in a heartbeat! Saved us $1200 on a new refrigerator! 5 stars!

Leaking dish washer. First guy came out last September. Said he would tighten door but he didnt know what caused the leak. New floors so thought I would try them again. My mistake. This guy says it will cost well over $250 for a small part. Paid him another $97 service call. Will buy new one and never call Marathon for service.

I will never use another appliance repair company! I have used Marathon on several occasions and have only had positive experiences. They are quick to respond to service requests and give you honest evaluations and make repairs in a timely manner! I highly recommend Marathon Appliance! They assessed my washer with a series of questions over the phone so when he showed up, when he said he would, he had the part and my washer was back working in an hour. Price was good and Im happily back to washing clothes. I recommend Marathon and will now use them for all my appliance repair needs.

Marathon Appliance is amazing! They came out on a Monday (Martin Luther King Day) after an online appointment I had made late the night before. David was awesome! He was knowledgeable, friendly, courteous and efficient! He located the problem right away with our fridge, had the part in his truck, installed it and fixed everything very quickly! I’ve had Marathon Appliance out to troubleshoot and repair problems with my dryer, refrigerator, and my dishwasher. Each time, I have received friendly service. My technician arrived when he said he would, listened to my concerns, and fixed the problem for good. The price was very fair too; in fact I expected it to cost more! I will call them every time I have appliance repair needs!

I needed a magnetic seal replaced on my french door refrigerator. Also, the center bar between the two doors was not closing correctly.The magnetic seal was changed fast...too fast. Part of it was pinched by the door shelves so I had to loosen them and adjust.As for the the center bar he told me on the phone it was broke. The next day I took another look and It looks like only a small spring broke. I compared the new and old bars and they look the same except for the broken spring.Total was a $320. Invoice did not break down the parts and labor and he fixed it in 15min. Seems a little high.-j

This company worked great for us for about 6 months. Prompt, reliable, responsive. Something changed in 2017. No phone calls returned, ever. Rarely reached a live person and if I did, she always said that she was just helping out and wasnt one of the in-office receptionists. Once I am sure I woke her up out of deep sleep at about 830am. Since I only ever reached her, I suspect that there are no in office receptionists.Left countless VM and message with helper, latter always promising to put call through as urgent but I still never received a call back. After months, someone finally got in touch and came by to look at our freezer, and said Id get an email about cost for replacement part in a few days. Well I never heard back and now have been trying unsuccessfully to get a return phone call.Finally, tried booking online and got no response there, either.Not sure how a business survives with zero customer service. I doubt that this one will. Unless you are ok waiting months till your messages are attended to, I recommend finding another appliance company.

I have used them twice now. They show up and fix the problem on time as agreed. What else do you want in an appliance repair company.
