One of the worst customer service experience ever. The sales associate, young black male, tall with braided hair got loud with me. I keep trying to tell him Customer Service sent me to a retail location to setup tech services and he lost it. I understand they may not know your store policy, but thats when you investigate a way to help the customer and not get loud and then dismiss me. Customer Service is not for you young man. Now I have to travel away from my home to get service because I wont be back on that experience alone.

The place was really crowded. This was my first time visiting this location, (or any Spectrum location for that matter). It would have been nice if the reps would give some type of direction/instructions. Luckily I followed what I saw others do, and it worked out. Unpleasant 40+ minutes...

I did not like when I called to start an internet service and the lady said my account was open for about 8 years but inactive. So she text a code to my number on file to start service but she didnt ask if my info was the same. Cuz my number changed since I opened my account, and the code was sent to my old phone number. And the lady steady asking you dont have access to that number? Why would I want access to it if its not my number anymore? Any professional customer service representative should always update any information they have on file especially if they havent spoken to that customer in almost 8 years and to prevent from sending info to the wrong numbers, its poor service!! This company doesnt follow any protocols in this area or line of work or this wouldnt have happened. All together I said just close the account and take me off the mailing list. I dont do business with people who seem careless and are just not professional....

I have an LG q70 and was having connection problems I get a hold of the store people on a Sunday and they check the phone out it was all good but they had a problem with their network service for that particular phone needless to say the phone was working by the next day Im very happy about it.

Service is TERRIBLE! Waited in line to give them their equipment back to only see multiple employees come back from lunch, clock in and go to the back to eat their food when they see it’s very busy. Manager was very rude and unprofessional. Some older lady asked for assistance and he just told her that he was “SUPERVISING” the worker as they port a number over for the cell phone service while still continuing to be on his phone texting and not actually supervising at all. I live in the area and this is the closest one to me but I’ll just make sure if I ever decide to go back to spectrum for any services I’ll make sure it’s not this location.

Smart mouth manger tells everyone waiting to return equipment if we didn’t want to wait until he finished with his personal conversations on his cell phone to be assisted, we could make a reservation online. I look online and the whole month going forward is booked (today is February 1st). Dropping off equipment shouldn’t be this difficult. Because if it’s not dropped off they will hunt you down, call several times a day and add a negative account to your credit.

Wanted to throw their equipment through their plate glass window. First, I drive 20 miles to get there on Sunday to exchange equipment for my dad. Turns out that their posted hours on the website are not accurate. Website says they are open 12 to 6 on Sundays...I went, and a small hand written note on door said closed - temporary hours. THEN, supposed to be open until 8 on weekdays. Went their again on Tuesday - to find they closed at 6. Two 30 mile round trips wasted because they incorrectly post their hours on the website.Also, I was doing a self install for my dad who is moving (only option they offer). I was told by tech support that his new address had already had Spectrum before, so I simply had to install the equipment and call to have it activated. After spending three hours doing so and dealing with tech support, it turns out I was misinformed and no Spectrum service was run there. The coaxial must have been from another provider. My 87 year old dad has to wait almost two weeks for a technician to straighten things out for him. Thats an eternity for a guy who cant get out much - no TV, internet or home phone.Nobody at Spectrum seems to care about customer service - acting as if they are the only game in town. Dont agree to the self install to save $49...you will need a technician most likely in a new place. They are at least two weeks out to schedule them. If my Dad had any viable options Id fire Spectrum. Wish I could give negative stars as a rating...

BUYER BEWARE: I WENT TO GET A ROUTER AND THATS ALL. THE NEXT MONTH I SEE MY BILL HAS INCREASED BY $40.00 BUCKS, THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE HERE ADDED A FREAKING HOME PHONE SERVICE TO MY ACCOUNT WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. SHE NEEDS TO BE REBOOTED AND RETRAINED BECAUSE THE NEXT CUSTOMER FINDS OUT SOMETHING EXTRA IS ADDED TO THEIR BILL MIGHT NOT BE SO UNDERSTANDING.

So I went to the Spectrum office up on New Halls Ferry and Lindbergh to exchange my internet service to a new box. After waiting in line I get up to the counter and the girl tells me that I need an ID in order to exchange the equipment. So I went to the Overland location and with no problem nobody asking me for an ID the equipment what was exchanged now Im at home everythings working fine. I just dont understand some of these people their customer service at some of these locations specially in North County I guess they have a lot of crooks out here and they just dont trust people but their service up there is lousy I will not be going back up there to that location.

This location doesn’t keep customer service in loop when they decide to change to “temporary hours”. There is no direct phone number to the store to confirm hours. Drove 40 minutes out of my way just to get turned away.
