The manger that is there today at peopleready in florence sc is very rude she is unprofessional and needs to be replaced asap im a hard worker but the way she treats her employees is really sad i want to report her ASAP

Maureen who is the officer manager is a hostile woman that uses her position belittle and create confusion among workers of TruBlu.Maureen has lost a contract with the school Florence County District lunch causing hundreds of people to lose their jobs because of her Attitude. She really need to be replaced and she will soon.Jessica who also works in the office is halfway decent but she can be swayed because she wants to keep her job.

The employees were extremely helpful. However the downside to working with people ready in this area is the lack of day jobs. Most of the work is done on a temp to hire basis.

Ive been with People Ready/Labor Ready for a few years now, mainly in Georgia. Ive recently moved to Sc and started to take jobs through the App. I recently went to a Flood Cleanup job in Hartsville that was cancelled. I wasnt called or notified through the app that the job was cancelled. This has happened to me before so I wasnt mad or anything. So i call the office Monday morning today to just simply ask to be removed from the ticket. The lady became very rude immediately and in a drown out voice said Were doing it now thats why youre receiving notifications. I explained that I understood that but i still saw it on my phone and that was my premise of calling. Her response was actually its 9:00 oclock youre supposed to be out there. Clearly she neglected the fact that i told her what happened to me Sunday. She made it seem as if i was supposed to be calling from the site Im not supposed to be working and have been wasted my time. In a nice voice I repeated that I went there Sunday and I wouldnt want the same thing to happen twice. As I was getting ready to ask about being compensated for my efforts she HUNG UP THE PHONE. I cant believe the lady on the phone. Ive never in my life had someone treat me the way she did on the phone. Im really hurt because I always have good intentions. By the way, I went to a job for the Columbia Office on Saturday and the job was cancelled for that day and I WAS PAID for my show up time. But i didnt even get the chance to ask for that because i was hung up on. Im also going to file a complaint on BBB and Im going to email corporate right now. How can i try to make money from the Florence Office if this is who I have to ask for work and ask to be paid at the end of the day or whatever the case may be. I cant imagine if I had to go to the office and ask for some PPE or Im submitting a work ticket. This is not how the company should be represented.

Staff is friendly and tries their hardest to connect people with work.
