Not military friendly at all. Towed a vehicle left over night in the recruiting station parking lot due to processing with the military. Towed the vehicle without signs posted at any entrances or in parking lot. there was no warning of parking limits such as where to and not park. No notice of a tow agency starting to patrol. After voicing opinion, signs appeared next day posted everywhere. If I could leave negative stars I would. taking advantage of people is not acceptable

Do not recommend working for them. Wrongfully accused of putting in an old repo order when handed a managers phone to enter order from her text messages. NO ORDERS SHOULD COME THROUGH A PHONE! They hold personal information like socials. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Was told to be fired in front of entire company to make an example out of me. When all I was doing was what I was told after being forced to put it in from a phone. I was told that I did it on purpose and put in an old order to hurt the company. I literally just did as i was told. It wasnt the first time I was screwed over by this company, but it definitely was my last.

So the guy came by today, not knowing North Carolina law. Hope he enjoys his trip back to Florence empty handed. He sat out front for a while and then decided to pull back into the enclosed driveway. I met him there, told him to leave and that another South Carolina crew tried to get it by breaking in to my garage. They were almost shot, and arrested. He told me that hed find it. I told him, I promise you wont! No GPS! Do your job legally, or face consequences tough guy!

These people Patrol nearby hotels off the highway looking for large vehicles such a Uhauls to tow that wont fit in the normal hotel parking areas. This way they can say they brought in a larger tow truck, and it costs more. My advice, if charged, immediately report your card as stolen once you get your vehicle back and then cancel your credit card. To hell with these highway pirates.

My car was up for repoed I was gone to grocery store came back home to find that some one had gone in my back yard and built a barracade to block me from getting in my yard I moved the stuff next there the repos man throwing me to the ground. Out of my car jumps in my car almost runs over me .stops jumps out car goes to his truck few secounds later brings me back my key I told the police was on the way he left.he never knew my grand daughter was in the house but was scared to come out because she did not know who he was .he was way out of line I offered the car but he did not want to give me time to get my grocery s out this company .should not have people like that working I think he was on something and he smell of pot .so did hos truck.this is not right I am not going to let him get away with pushing me down I am old with health problems.

Overall not a bad company and when I went to pick up my car it went okay but I didnt like that it seem like someone went thru my truck and took my loose coins in my door plus my battery had to be jump off. But Brittany and her mom is awesome and nice people. But I do think they need to get rid of the appointments and make it more convenient for customers. Because I live a hour and 45 minutes and had to do 80mph to get there by 3:15 to get my car . And if i didnt get my car I couldnt get my personal property until Wednesday which is crazy. Just try to make it convenient for everyone is a better business move. Thanks for the service.

They replied a machine from me, Im not upset about that but they wrongfully took another piece of equipment valued at.$4,800. Now they want me to go pick it up instead of bringing it back. Im just waiting if they dont bring it back by the deadline, the report has already been filled out and the sheriffs office is going to press charges for grand larceny. They are about to learn if its not on their paperwork to leave it there.

I can’t find the Greensboro location so I’m going to leave this here. I am currently reporting my license plate as stolen. About a month ago I went to the Greensboro location to pick up my personal items out of my car because I needed them. I waited for an hour while they looked for my car and personal belongings just for them to tell me that they didn’t have it or my car on the lot. My belongings went with my car to be on hold at the auction. If they were organized and literally not all over the place this would have saved me 55 minutes! Fast forward to yesterday I was told by the auction that my license plate did not come with my car and to check this business location for it. I call and talk to the lady and she said their system was down & asked for my license plate number I gave it to her and she said I could come and get it. I get there an hour before my class and she’s looking for it but absolutely no license plate at this point I am extremely irritated because I am missing class and wasting time once again. How do you lose a license plate ? They say that the auction has my license plate and I have the paperwork saying that the auction did not receive my car with a license plate, so now I have no choice but to report it as stolen.

On 2/2/2019 my family and I were at the Florence Civic center, @ monster jam and yes we were having problems keeping up with our payments on our car, for medical reasons. So when we came out and saw our car loaded on one of your tow trucks, let’s just say I was upset!!! Not at your driver or your company, just that I live 2 hours away!! I don’t remember your drivers name, but I wanted you to know that he was amazing!!! He was kind and spoke with us, ( didn’t act like we were scum since he was repoing my car) and he explained things!!! My 6 year old was upset and crying! He was so nice and sweet to him and calmed him down!!! I work for a towing company, and I know the drivers work harder then most!!! So I wanted to make sure I mentioned this and I hope that maybe u can look back and see who this driver was!!! Cause he needs a raise, a bonus, or something !! Because he is a big asset to your company!!!

I showed it to them the same day I picked it up and the lady said yes they put a dent in it. Now the paint chips and I still have the dent. Very poor service and don’t take care other ppl property.

I traveled close to 4 hours to retrieve personal items from a vehicle in their possession. This trip was made at the direction of third dispatchers or customer service representative. I verified on Multiple occasions prior to making the journey. Upon arrival I was told that the vehicle was not present and moreover the personal items were shipped with the vehicle to another state. The incorrect insertion of information into their database laid the ground work for incorrect information to be relayed to a customer and the ultimate demise of well over 8 hours of a day. I would rate less than a one star but the option is not available.

I cant stand dishonest theiving workers. My friend had his vehicle repossessed from this company. I had some of my belongings in there .. A jewelry box with a locket from my dad & 2 rings from my parents(one ring was a dolphin with a diamond for the eye & a black jewel & the other had a square yellow jewel on the top with about 5 diamonds going down each side). Whoever cleaned the items out of that vehicle stole them from the jewelry box .. but I will say I am greatful that whoever this individual is, left my locket from my dad in there. But whoever it was is a low life to have to steal belongings from vehicles that are being repossessed. They also stole some other belongings of ours but they are small petty things that I am not 💔 over. The rings I am 💔 over because they were gifts from my parents. This happened at the AAR in Sumter,Sc. Not the Florence AAR.

Illegally removed my car from a private residential area after midnight. They cruise around all the time after dark looking at random cars. Have false number on their vehicles that you cant reach them at. Refused to tell me where my car was when i called them. Never showed me paperwork for the towing and they claimed to have knocked on my door. A infants knock would have been louder. Asked if he had permission to be on this private property, he replied he doesnt need any authority. Even refused to let me get my tag. Will be starting a lawsuit against them.

On September 24, 2017 Associate Asset Recovery had my neighbors car towed. They were not able to tow it from my neighbors yard so they took it upon themselves to tow the car through my yard without my permission, causing damage to my lawn. When I found the company and explained to them what happened they promised me on several occasions that they would send someone out to view the damages, but did not follow through. I even emailed them pictures and sent over a quote that I got from a landscaping company of what the cost would be to repair the damages. After constantly calling and emailing, on October 13th, almost 3 weeks later, the company had a guy who was driving a tow truck (which indicated that it was highly likely that he was NOT a professional landscaper) to come out to look at my lawn. He put down some grass seed and left. He didnt talk to me after finishing the job to explain what he had done. I am unhappy that they took forever to send someone out. Also, they totally disregarded my assessment from a professional. Instead they decide how my lawn should be repaired! I spoke with someone from their company the following week after the guy came out. She said, well we will see how your grass turns out this spring. I expressed to her my level of disappointment about how the situations was handled. I was told that I would get a phone call back and never did. The matter in which they have handled this situation has been HORRIBLE!

How absolutely terrible these people are. We have been trying to contact them for 4+ months now. I had an accident and have been fighting for disability since then. We called the Bank TD, who either hung up on us or gave as the number of Associates Asset Recovery . They pretended to talk to you forwarded your call and than hung up. Today morning my car was just gone. Without any notification or warning. After talking to the Police, the TD Bank and this place they told us that my childs stuffed animals would cost a 75$ recovery fee. And that all, after we are trying to connect with just anyone to turn the car in a proper way. Stay away people. From the TD bank and surely from this guys. Its all about money, and they all lying and giving a sh.......if a small kid is crying over her lost toys. We offered to bring the keys (they of course do not have and exchange the stuffed animal. I dont think they got that at all.

Okay. Im doing this because NOTHING has been resolved and Im sick of it. I was in my car at 5:15am, getting ready to leave for work. My lights were on, in and out, and my heat was on, so obviously you can see it and see it is on with a person inside. As I put my car in reverse, this driver hooks my car. I thought I accidentally collided with a neighbors truck, so I threw it in drive. When I realized it was a tow truck, I put it in park and opened my door.This driver hooked my car, with me in it! Not only did he hook it, he started raising it, with me still in it! And I know he didnt check my vin, because a parking garage ticket is blocking it. I did this because some lady and older guy (who I saw AT the North Charleston location of this business) constantly creeping around my car the few days leading up to this at my job. I thought they were crack heads and thieves scoping out cars, since I work at a hotel. No! Its one of the drivers and ladies that work in the office.I get out of my car, with it still on, and ask him why hes towing me. He gives me this whole schpeal and I told him, I already paid the behind $130 the day before. I even graced him with why ($16,000 unexpected medical bill) AND showed him the payment, and told him he could not take my car. Says he still has to tow it and will call the cops. I go and sit back in my car to wait for the police. HE CONTINUED TO RAISE IT ONTO THE TRUCK, WITH ME IN IT!!! I literally had to jump from my car to get to the ground.I go around to look, hes dented and scratched my bumper. Says I have to take it up with the corporate office in Florence (YOUR worthless office). I asked for a number and he gives me three, 2 of which are on the truck. Because I didnt trust him, I took a picture of the side of the truck. I have to get to work, and he says I can get it that day, but I have to pay $50. Or I could just give him $50 right now. I called an Uber and went to work. I call their office at 9am. Nothing. Call at 9:30. Nothing. This is all 3 numbers. Finally got in touch with some rude lady (who I found out when I went there, was the lady creeping around my car), who says I have to make an appointment to pick my car up, but all of the slots were filled that day and that the next day only have times to pick up valuables in the vehicle. Told her I was getting my whole car. Hung up on me. I call back, and the office is magically closed. At 2pm! On a Wednesday. Same with corporate.Get in touch on Thursday afternoon with the Florence office. I explained I was looking to get to the North Charleston location. She said her systems linked with that one. We set a pickup appointment for 1pm Friday. I get there at 12:30 and theyre closed. Called both offices multiple times before finally getting ahold of someone at the Florence office. Tells me all locations are closed as everyone is in Florence for training, and since all offices are closed on the weekend, [I] would have to wait until Monday to retrieve [my] vehicle. I told her I made an appointment with someone to get my car, and she says, Well, that was dumb since the offices are closed. Call back Monday. And hung up on me. I call back and get ANOTHER automated message.FINALLY get there on Monday to get my car, they took 3 hours to locate it. The lot is not that big. I saw it. It was straight ahead, 18th car on the right. They tow it to the gate, and MY TIRE WAS COMPLETELY SHREDDED. I mean, like someone ran over blades with it. Those were all BRAND NEW tires that I got two weeks before. Says it came in that way. No it did not! They take all my money and tell me to file a complaint. My tow driver that Geico sent told me that this company was full of unlawful thieves. They steal possessions from cars, as well as being known for illegally repossessing vehicles, and take cars for joy rides. I drive a Kia Soul. Very frustrated with Tony, I am a service advisor at a dealership and Tony had his truck serviced here. He had a lot of engine repairs done on his truck under warranty but had a bad battery which was not covered and was notified of f that and authorized by him to replace. I was not here to release the vehicle to Tony and somehow the battery did not get paid for. I have spoke to him on multiple occasions trying to seek payment and he would promise me that he would call back and pay that he was to busy at the moment. It has now been 2 months bill is not paid and now I am stuck paying the bill. I have bills to pay and a family to feed and I dont appreciate getting stiffed like that. If for any reason he does call and pay me back for his repair that he approved I will update this but for now I would highly recommend people to not use this company.

They went to take a car from my neighbors house whom they followed around town and the woman in a black camera car drove through my yard to block the guy in. Then she preceded to lie to the cops and tell them she didnt drive through my yard. Refused to give their names and of course the complaint department hasnt called me back like they said they would. Very unprofessional. Was illegally towed. Then when I tried to contact the company, The man that picks up the phone was rude and was not trying to listen to what I had to say. He told me that a dispatch should be contacting me. It has been 2 days, my family is from Georgia and we re in the middle of nowhere In South Carolina and just want to go home. So I called the number back to see why I still havent heard anything from dispatcher. He bluntly said to me if I keep calling him he will keep my car for another 3 days. I was sitting at my friends and filmed the driver of this company ON Video destroy a car he REPOSSESSED!!!!!!!!!!! NO matter what, at Christmas this man destroyed the car for whom ever owed or not. He had no clue how to pick up a car without destroying the transmission, breaks and the car. If zero was an option thats what they be getting from me. Which is the equivalent of the help Ive received from their customer service team. These folks took my belongings out of my car when it was repoed over 3 months ago. I made an appointment to pick them up and they had me standing around for over an hour and a half outside the gate before they came out and told me that they lost them and that somebody would be in touch with me. No one has ever tried to reach out to me and after multiple attempts to recoup my belongings I am finally hiring an attorney 2 compensate for my damages. If youre dealing with them I suggest you do the same thing and dont wait as long as I did. They believe stalling is a effective method of getting you to go away and Im sure a lot of cases it is but if you give up they win. Lisa is a waste of space and if you have to deal with her go ahead and get yourself an attorney right away. Otherwise youll be waiting forever for nothing but the runaround

This company is very unprofessional and has not fixed my property. The driver was told truck was 4 wheel, he damaged my truck Stability System and traction dents in back chip paint from my truck hitting something he also broke one of my pipe to my muffler. Just insane, CS and owner was rude has not tried to resolve issues or contact me back. I was told they would be contacting me back they have not. They also broke and removed things from my glove compartment I assume to steal something. These people are crooks and thieves.

Who ever was driving this buisnesses truck on hwy 17 at 4:30 pm on july 6th almost hit my car with my wife and newborn inside; because he did not check his mirrors or use a blinker before turning into our lane. Then proceeded to speed down the highway. In a truck of that size, you could kill someone. If this is how they conduct themselves on the road, i can only imagine how bad their services are.

These so called Professionals do not understand Repo Law in North Carolina. This joker arrived to my PRIVATE residence to repo what he thought was the car in question... This was approx 8:30am I ran out as I did not have a clue what was going on.. I did not realize there was an issue with my account. As My Lender never gave me Notice of the Repo. I ask him for PAPERWORK and he claimed he did not have to provide any.... THIS IS WRONG.. There is a judicial process called Claim and Delivery in the the state of North Carolina. This requires that the repossessor have a Judicial order from the Judge to enter on your PRIVATE residence, land or driveway to take Personal property. The Repo man claimed I slammed him in the door of the car and pressed Assault Charges on me. FYI - Me- 5ft 6 FEMALE REPO MAN 6ft 7 MALE. All to get handed this important jewel of info at the hearing. I was found Not guilty as he did not have full legal right to be on my property.. He did not have a clue what the judicial REPO process in North Carolina is. This man threatened me, my dog and acted as if he had unlimited power. While I understand there is a job at hand, I also understand that job must be handled professional, ethically and legally. He claimed he would not press charges if he got my car... He did not get my car.. He left empty handed and filed a charges. I assume to protect his reputation with his Big Boss. And lied to police... Bottem line I still have my fathers car, and they dont get paid....

The company is very unprofessional. The employees came to my property several times during Mothers Day to repossess my vehicle that I had already made my payments to. They even threaten to say I was drunk driving and I also did a hit and run. The employees also went as far as to say they have bartenders that say they served me all night. Thats impossible when I dont drink or go to clubs.

Driving on the highway this man clearly has issues. Driving in and out of traffic and endangering everyone on the road in heavy traffic. Even rolled down the window in traffic and started screaming and making obscene gestures.
