The perfect place and location for any kind of family or business trips to FLAGSTAFF.This hotel had laundry and dryers that can be used in your stayβ¦.the lobby have a very comfortable area where you can enjoy a coffee or a snack.Restaurant and stores are located around 2-5 minutes from the courtyard. The Rooms were nice and so clean and Staff members were so kind and helpful.πWe felt very Welcome!!Our soccer tournament was very easy going as the soccer field was just 5 minutes away from the courtyard!!!β₯οΈ
The staff was outstanding. Professional and very courteous making our stay as comfortable as home. The manager Hillary is exceptional and it shows with her leadership and direction. Canβt ask for better. The room was clean and very comfy. We will stay here again without reservation. Thank you.
I come up to Flagstaff for work almost weekly and I always stay here, off the recommendation of a coworker. I have never had a bad stay and it is a lot to do with the great staff at the front desk. They are always so nice, and helpful with any request I have. I love getting the Starbucks in the morning, and the rooms are always pretty quiet. Good stuff all around and very appreciated.
Very accomodating to those visiting this hotel for the Tesla supercharging station. They have a bathroom, lounge and little shop you can get basic items from if you dont want to walk across the street to a store
I chose this hotel because the pictures showed a nice pool and hot tub, the rating was also pretty good and it was pet friendly. Once I arrived, I discovered their per charge was $75, which I feel is outrageous. After a talk with the manager and while trying to find another place to stay they agreed to let me pay the pet fee of the other hotel I had considered, That was $30. However, I want to point out that I was told this large pet fee of $75 was to sterilize the room of pet allergens for other customers. When coming to the room and putting away drinks there was an old burrito and hot sauce in the fridge. Hmmm doesnt seem sterile to me! After going to dinner it was time to hit the hot tub and relax after a stressful day. The hot tub is covered up by a large piece of plywood and of course unusable. The main reason I chose to stay here. This one night has cost $200 for no hot tub and a small cold pool, a dirty fridge, this does not make me feel confident that the sheets were even changed. The carpets in the hallway are stained as well. They need a new cleaning crew if they are going to charge a large pet fee when they cannot even check a fridge. I do want to say the desk clerks were polite even when I was unhappy. Kudos to them. Thats the only reason I gave this hotel two stars!
Just stopped to charge the Tesla, but we went in...so clean...
This location perfect for travelers going to various attractions. It is easy to walk to restaurants and a few shops and gas stations. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and had a mini fridge, coffee maker, and plenty of storage. I had a good little breakfast bagel sandwich and enjoyed the views of the little patio. I would definitely stay here again.
My go-to hotel in Flagstaff. Staff are always nice. Rooms are always clean. Easy to get on and off the highway. View from the outdoor fireplace/ patio at sunset are gorgeous.
Should have checked out more spots prior to checking in here. Honestly the place is not well kept, almost dilapidated. I tried to find my family a nice cozy place to stay for a few nights, and this was the wrong choice for sure. Very institutional and not very personal in nature, and it seems like everything here is way up charged. Oh, you have a pet? $75. -Oh you have a car? two cars? Thats $6 a night per car. Need to wash some clothes? Thats another chunk of change.. I get it. This place is more about making money than actually accommodating guests. Its a shame this place could be real nice with some renovation and a better attitude towards service, but its clear there corporate and are just here for your money.I passed several other nice looking hotels, check them out so you will not be dissatisfied like I was. And just to reinforce, my expectations are not that high at all. Its very poorly laid out also, as people are constantly getting lost in here when they come down the elevator. Location could be so much better also, this place is hard to get in and out of, and offers very little parking for large trucks or oversized vehicles.Maybe by the time I leave they will have their one one machine working.
My family almost always stays here when passing through or visiting. Usually nothing big but last weekend we stayed someone in an adjacent room had a dog that kept barking throughout the night. We had to stay very quiet in our room and no close any doors to not set him off. When I reported it the front desk staff would not address it unless I was able to identify which room it came from. I was disappointed. Im pretty sure its easy to look up and give them a courtesy call. Even in the middle of the night i went to use the bathroom it went off.
Very nice room. If you need it, there are several charging stations for an electric car. Plenty of restaurants nearby and the hotel.itself is very close to the university. We brought our dog and the hotel was very pet friendly. My only complaint was there wasnt any type of continental breakfast provided and if you wanted better internet you had to pay extra for that. For the price of the room, I would have expected those things to be included.
Very nice building on a hill with an awesome view if youre in a north/northwest facing room. Staff super friendly. Some things feel a bit dated compared to other Courtyards but nothing significant. Certainly felt like I was getting way more than I paid for compared to similarly rated hotels.
Nice place for sure, and the gentleman up front with the mustache was super awesome and helpful. Amenities just ok. But Ill give it 4 stars due to it being way classier than most hotels Ive stayed in
The room is good, only the TV has a screen glitch. Unfortunately I cannot give good opinions since I stayed for seven days and cleaning was never done, the garbage accumulated and I had to go down to throw it away, the towels were never replaced, coffee, soap, etc ... all those replacement things only lasted the first day. After conco days, request room service that the young woman at the reception schedule for 9 am. That day I arrived at the hotel very tired and with the hope of resting in a clean room, with impeccable sheets and having clean towels when showering, but it was not like that, the service was not performed.Nothing to say about breakfast, there is no clear information, the guests arrive and never find anything, of the six days they stayed, they never dislike breakfast.I do not recommend this hotel, I would never return .. there are many others nearby, a bad experience.
After a long drive the only thing that my partner and I were looking for was to stretch out on our bed in our room. The front desk upon arriving were very nice and welcoming. Unfortunately, once we walked into our room we realized that we were placed in the ADA accessible room and lacked the couch that was advertised once booked. Though we are happy that the hotel offers that to those who are disabled. Neither my partner or I are disabled. We called several times to ask for a change in room as this was not what we reserved. Our requests kept getting the run around. The first person I spoke with (Devin) let me know we would be put on a list for room change and called for the room change. I called later on in the day as I never received a call and was informed I would be put on a list AGAIN. Had I not been on the list the first time? Seems that the hotel staff did nothing to solve this issue. I will no longer be staying with this chain of hotels as I was shown that the care for guests are not of importance.
Im a Marriott Bonvoy member. This is the worst hotel Ive stayed at worldwide within their network. Incredibly dirty. Staff is dismissive. Advertised amenities out of order. Lots of hidden fees. There are a lot of hotels within a few blocks. Book at your own risk.
Wonderful mens restroom. Beautiful lobby. Amazing modern chairs. Swimming pool still closed because of Covid-19. Host is very accommodating towards your personal needs especially if your room is on a higher floor and you need to change to a main level. Thanks for keeping your bathroom clean and smelling nice.
Thank you for your response. But I stayed in other Marriott more than 5 different hotels in this trip. While they are okay with crib, only your hotel concerns about Covid issue while you let me stay on your bed. Please be more customer friendly.
A very nicely located place, close to shops and restaurants. The rooms are not large, yet, fairly well appointed. There is a coffee nook w/mini fridge underneath, a good closet, desk w/ chair, sofa and footstool, large TV which pulls out and you can direct it to the sofa or turn it completely towards the queen size bed (we loved this feature), 2 small bedside tables, a medium sized bathroom and our room looked out onto the San Francisco peaks. Check in with quick and efficient. We would definitely stay there again! ππππ
The manager has a terrible attitude. Not up to Marriott standards! Will never stay at this over priced place again.
My visitors often choose this hotel and the price is good. But, itβs not as close to campus or downtown as it might look. Not really walkable.
Very CLEAN, COMFORTABLE, LOTS OF AMENITIES. Easy to get to off I - 40. Staff are friendly, has a Starbucks. Would stay here again, would definitely recommend.
After a road trip with all of the ............. I found it very comforting greeted by Ms. Esqueda soon as the door came open it changed the whole day. Ms.Bonnie & Ms. Esqueda and beyond the call of service and represented Marriott in the standard widths I will always remember and choose to stay here first thanks again.Semper Fidelis
Room was great, I am a platinum member and as a gift guess for being a platinum member I received 2 bottles of water.
One of the better #Courtyard Marriotts this trip, some were truly awful, not what we have come to expect. Would give this one higher stars, but not until #Marriott starts cleaning your room again. Canceling a week stay later this summer in CA. because of that.
This is my preferred hotel when I come to Flagstaff. Excellent customer service and very convenient location for anything you want to do in the Flagstaff Arizona area
This is one of my favorite places to stay. The staffs are and always give outstanding services, the hotel is very clean and Excellent location.
I am not sure if the Front Desk people were trained by IRS or Spirit Airlines. I think they get so many GC tourists they have no kindness for other travelers. I have stayed at many Marriotts and this one has the rudest staff for sure. If you want good customer service stay somewhere else.
Staff was great in communicating with us while we were on our way, and was happy to work with our room requests as they werenβt too full to do so. Kindly fielded all of our questions. Room was SO quiet as the hotel is a little secluded. We got some much needed rest before our long drive. Thank you!
Thought we would give The Marriott a try since they had balconies. The ice machine was broken, the Jacuzzi was broken, and I was refused a room make up because they required 24 hour notice? Im not sure if you are in to the new math or the old math but either way we would have had to request maid service prior to even checking in. So glad Hilton Hotels are in the area!
Room 053. It should not even be a room for anyone to stay in. Back door entrance at any time...door SLAMS shut very loudly. Also, feels like youre right under the elevator. You can hear it everytime someone uses it. Felt like we were in a dungeon.
Room was clean. In a great location didnt have to fight through all the construction be cause its right as you get into town. We had a king with a pull out room. Im not sure that bed was a king and the pull out was only a single which confused me they knew we had two adults and 2 teenage children. The pool is not useable. Breakfast cost over $10 a person. They do have friendly people and the courtyard is beautiful.
Hotel was nice. Hotel staff was extremely courteous and accommodating. Rooms could use a little update but were still really nice and Iβm pretty picky! They were clean and nice inside could use a deep clean, but again Iβm kinda ocd! Bed was a tad hard but still comfortable.Only thing I would say is if itβs snowing and you donβt have four wheel drive you may want to think twice because the hill is a bit hard to get up with tons of snow like we had. Overall great hotel, price, and staff.
$21 for 6 ounces of a cheap red wine in a plastic cup says it all.
Staff is helpful and professional. Close to restaurants and stores.
Rooms ok but they dont bother to stock enough bellcarts so I hope you like dragging all your stuff through the lobby because someone else has the one other cart. May not seem too bad but Im going cross country alone and this is the worst way to start a day of driving
This is one of the best Courtyards out there. It was nice and clean and comfortable. The staff were exceptionally nice.
Nice location - night shift front desk staff very friendly.
Positive: Room was clean and the city is beautiful Negative: The WiFi internet did not work and they charge for parking. No one told us ahead of time about the parking fees. I felt like they were trying to sneak in charges to increase the price. I was disappointed and will not return.
Go elsewhere. Take my advice. Dont stay here. They put us in a room under a dryer that shook our room. The help was rude the two times we had interactions with them. So rude we didnt dare go back to secure names for this review. We checked out a day early and stayed in Sedona. And do not ask for water unless you are a Marriott premium member. So update. After I shared this review management at this location came back and took our employee discount off of our bill. Apparently that was retaliation for a negative review.Lol it never ends with these people.
Great service, full bar and mexican inspired grill on grounds. Polite and professional staff. All in all good choice.
Nice courtyard. Nice location. All the food spots are a 5 min drive. Competing hotel did mention no R/R noise. So, google map your choices. The driveway is narrow at one point. So, dont come in HOT! Oncoming traffic
We arrived after midnight and the guy at the desk was very friendly. Our room was clean and had a comfortable bed. We purchased a bacon egg and cheese sandwich and a Starbucks coffee for breakfast and they were great. Better than the free breakfast hotels offer anyways. The same guy was there when we checked out and he offered to let us use an ice scraper for the windshield.Very great hotel, friendly staff and great price!
This hotel was great! It was easy to find. It looked sharp from the outside. The inside was modern and clean. Check in was fast and easy. The room was very comfortable! It was clean and sanitized. Food was within walking distance. The hotel had a good selection of beer and they charged it to my room. The next day, they had Starbucks in the lobby which was good. Checkout was fast and easy too. Overall, a great hotel!
Very nice hotel to stay at! Conveniently located and plenty of parking. Room was very clean and comfortable. Would stay again.
We had a pleasant stay. We just needed a place to rest our heads after playing in the snow. I was worried about the steep incline to the parking lot with the snow and ice but it was well maintained. The hotel seemed to be following safe COVID-19 protocols, including no housekeeping during our stay -- which is how we normally operate anyway. Id stay there again.
Nice hotel with hospitable staff!
Very friendly and professional staff.Property is clean and the location is convenient to all areas of Flagstaff, Grand Canyon and lots of hiking trails.
The staff at check-in were efficient and very friendly. but the lady behind the breakfast counter... she was having a bad day and was not able to put on a fake smile at all. overall it was still a great experience.
$75 pet fee!? What the actual...Nice hotel, but prices are insane. They claimed the $75 was for βhypo-allergenic cleaningβ.. sure.. Tracy. I know we were put on the ground floor with other people with dogs are put. They claimed this fee is listed on the website.. ok so I need to search every page on Marriott website beforehand? Why wasnβt this fee listed on the reservation page? Asking if I had any pets? Oh thatβs right.. because they know I (and most others) wouldnβt accept that $75 fee knowing when people rolled in at 10 at night exhausted, they wouldnβt want drive anywhere else, so just accept the fee. The old bait and switch.
Truly a bad experience here all around. Hidden charges for damages after they charge for the room. Extended or stay and was charged which is fine but they round up for. 131 to 140 on our account. I have never had a bad experience with Marriott but this is truly the worst by far. Also indoor pool is down for construction. How is it the Springhill by Marriott which is down the street had free continental breakfast but not here. One more complaint is that we have to ask for the maid service for the room to be cleaned.
I have stayed at many Marriotts throughout my life and this one ranks among my worst experiences. Upon arrival to the Courtyard, I went to check in at the front desk and was not given the usual βthank you for being a Marriott gold elite memberβ spiel that I am usually greeted with when I check in. While not a deal breaker, it was still something that bothered me.Once we got to our room, we inspected everything and found a few things including a long brown hair on one of the pillows and a burnt out light in one of the night stands. Additionally, the lighting in the room is not great. There is no main overhead light in the room, and you basically have to turn on all the lights in the room in order to have decent lighting. Again, not a huge deal, but kind of off putting. What was not acceptable was the paper-thin walls in the facility. My wife and I found it extremely difficult to fall asleep during our two night stay in room 213 with all of the noise that was coming in our room. Between people conversing in the hallways and nearby rooms to the loud cars from the nearby highway to the extremely loud ice maker which was constantly being used (seriously who uses that much ice people?!) we were extremely disappointed with the sound control that the room provided. We often found ourselves whispering to each other to prevent our conversations from being heard by the neighboring rooms. Not great.Another gripe was the lack of housekeeping in the facility. When we arrived, we were told that there is no daily housekeeping at the facility, (im assuming to reduce costs?) so when we came back to the hotel from a long day of driving and excursions, we were not greeted with a nicely made bed or clean sheets. When it was time to check out, I went to the front desk and was asked how my stay was. I told the staff member that it was βjust okβ. She did not ask any other questions or really seem to care how my stay was. This was the needle that broke the camelβs back. I usually donβt write reviews for things unless they are really good or really bad, and I felt obligated to discuss my stay to help others not make the same mistake I did by staying at this facility. One good thing this facility has going for it is the view from the parking lot. It offers nice unobstructed views of the nearby mountains. Furthermore, the housekeeping staff was extremely nice when we were departing, which definitely improved my mood, but did not make up for the awful experience that we had.
Double queen suite with balcony doesnβt even come with a basic microwave!. We had been asked to use a common one placed somewhere in the lobby (are you kidding?). We stayed for two days. Request to clean our room (mainly bathroom) was turned down with Covid as a reasoning. Doesnβt make sense at all, where they allow people to gather in groups and no mask mandates inside the property (I mean, no one bothers). No breakfast served. Very disappointing stay. We didnβt expect this at Marriott.
When we checked in the directions to our room was go around the side of the building no indication of which floor or which direction so we spend 30 minutes looking. There was no continental breakfast because of covid but we were told the Starbucks inside would be open and the next morning they werent. The rooms are also poorly soundproofed, you can hear every door open and slam shut. They also charge extra by default for amenities when the pool isnt open and the only other amenities are a workout room. Was not impressed at all for the price.
The hotel room was not clean at all. You could see foot prints all over bath floor, bandaid stuck on carpet by chair, dust on everything. Restaurant closed. Breakfast is a joke, basically just coffee. Hot tub is broken. Had to complain to even get a balcony and it then had a terrible view. Would never stay there again or recommend to anyone.
This hotel looks nicer on the outside than it is on the inside. There was a sock on the floor, a hair tie on the bed, and a long hair on one of the towels in the bathroom. Not very clean. After midnight people were running up and down the halls. I didnt sleep well. Not a good experience at all.
Like most Courtyards and Residence Inns, pet friendly. Very helpdul front desk!
Covid definitely creating challenges for all hotels. Very basic amenities and service. But price is right for what you are getting.
The hotel was clean and the rooms were spacious. However, the beds were miserable to say the least. The fold out bed was also atrocious. In addition, we had to ask for sheets, a blanket, and pillows for the fold out which we had to retrieve ourselves at the front desk. The deal breaker was having to track down clean towels- which we also had to find ourselves. Disappointed in this Marriott and will not be staying her again.
Nice location, hotel is clean and there is even a tesla charging station.
Lovely hotel just off the freeway but hidden in the trees...nice room and hotel amenities.
The bed was comfortable and TV and stations were good
Only complaint is that its right next to the freeway so its very loud at night when youre trying to sleep
Great place to stay at the Flagstaff and restaurants are in commuting distance.
The room was fantastic. The bed was extremely comfortable. The reason they only get a three star is they sprung a $6 parking fee on me at check in. Obviously its not the $6, its the principal that they sprung it on me at check in. I can see CA charging the fee because parking is a premium in CA but Flagstaff AZ? The lot was 50% empty when we got back to the room at 10 pm. Just a money grab thats not necessary. Too many options in Flag to get nailed with a parking fee.
They state they have a pool and hot tub on this listing and on their website but it is not open. I was told two different reasons. One was that it was being renovated and the other because of COVID. Also, the facilities are run down. The furniture in the rooms are warn and they used cheep loud refrigerators to replace the original ones. Also note the hidden $6 parking fee.
The furniture is filthy, the rates are over priced for what you get. Just checked in and I am extremely disappointed π
Courtyard Marriott Flagstaff is our habitual stopover on the way from Northern California to Albuquerque. Its Bistro is Covid closed so for breakfast we were reduced to Egg McMuffin from the drivethru, but it got us on the road more quickly. The lobby is retro-spare and rooms are neat, clean, and well appointed, but if youre a Marriott habituee you know Courtyard. Even the artwork is the same.Still, its nice to settle into a familiar place after 10 hard hours on the road.
The hotel and room were very clean and front desk staff were polite. However, we checked in later in the evening and the room was quite chilly. We called down for an extra blanket and had a good laugh at what was sent up. It was thin, scratchy and not comfortable or cozy. There is also no hot coffee or water provided in the lobby. For the cost, I expected a much more comfortable stay.
Everything is not up and running yet. They have a bit more recovery to do after covid. Mask wearing was not enforced and many guests did not have on masks.
Good location. Is up on a hill on its own and stands independently which I liked, yet still close to everything you need and not far from the highway. Room was clean and fine for what we needed and what youd typically expect in a Courtyard. Would stay again.
I had a great one night experience. The staff were friendly. Clean. I was comfortable. This place also had a fireplace, very popular. I would come back again.
This hotel is awesome, highly recommend it! It appears that they build or renovated it recently. The rooms very clean and well decorated. It has a patio with an incredible sunset view. The only bad thing I have to say about this hotel is that there a $7 fee for parking that I didnβt agree to pay, it was just billed. But, even with that, I still recommend it.
Positive: Great location to get anywhere.Food and grocery shopping near by. Negative: There was thick hair in one of the pillows & in the bathroom we called and they took care of it, other than that everything else was okay.Prior to this we inspected the room to make sure it was clean but thats all we found.
Great stay. Staff was awesome. Pet friendly (though its a hefty fee per pet), and great space in back to walk them around. Supercharger is around back/side. Walking distance to an olive garden and red lobster. Short walk/drive to grocery store and Starbucks (within grocery). Recommended.
We are traveling and needed an overnight stay. Staff was friendly and helped us store our bikes. The room was clean and comfortable. Nice hot shower. Definitely recommend!
Charges for parking. Pool was shut down during our trip.Room was mediocre. Wouldnt go again.
Nice staff, beautiful views of the pines. Cant help hearing the doors slam all night, or the people walking down the halls, or the people upstairs. Makes for a rough night of sleep that is needed when traveling. The rooms were full, so hopefully it is a good sign people are feeling a little safe to travel again. Had my service dog, and noticed the next day they charged us dog cleaning fees, even though we specicified said SERVICE DOG, at check in, and when we checked in on line. Communication is key with customers.
Ok, So the hotel itself is nice, the grounds are nice, and so is the staff. I dont know about the restaurant or jacuzzi because Covid shut those down. My only two complaints are 1) the toilet paper. BRING YOUR OWN if youre picky. But that goes for any hotel. And 2) We paid EXTRA for a balcony! I thought, how cool. A balcony I can sit on and enjoy the fresh Flagstaff air. However, within 5 minutes of sitting on the balcony, my lungs were filled with cigarette smoke. Hack hack! So I go into the room and immediately call the front desk to complain, but they tell me that you are allowed to smoke on the balcony! So, the least the hotel can and should do is inform guests of this because Im pretty sure its a big deal for other non smokers as well!My suggestion for other guests that might be thinking about a patio room: SKIP IT if you dont smoke. I ended up just going down to the open air courtyard and hanging out on their nice furniture by the fire pit. Of course, its September and still possible right now. But until they ban smoking at the hotel outright, everyone that smokes is of course going to smoke on the patio! I would.
The hotel is nice but they are pet friendly and we had to move rooms because our neighbors had a dog that barked constantly.
Staff was great and the room was clean and perfect for a 2 day stay. Wish there was room service but due to COVID you have to ask for that.
Pretty clean place.
Positive: The lobby was pretty Negative: Mini fridge did not have a freezer. Temp control in the room was on the wall &about broke my finger trying to change the temp. No vent in the bathroom. No microwave. Difficult to get to because it has its own ΓΒ’Γ’βˆ βroadΓΒ’Γ’βˆ . Doors slam,
Great place to stay of you travel with a dog πΆ Right next to NAU with many paces to shop and eat.
Great experience! Very clean! My family loved it!
Positive: Friendly, Clean & Very Helpful Negative: The room was too warm. Could not control the thermostat.
Great stay, as always!
Super clean and very friendly staff. Would give 5 stars but every hotel amenity is closed. Also charged for parking, which Im used to only having to pay for at resorts.
Love the hotel, the food, the fire place by the yard and very clean and nice room
Too dog friendly
Was travelling cross country with my niece. Made reservation with a random booking site. Arrived at the hotel and the booking site had completely failed to communicate the reservation. The desk associate was beyond helpful! (6/11/2020 evening) She got us a room quickly and was concerned that the clueless booking site would double charge me, so she PERSONALLY called the site while we went to our room. She took care of the whole mess and called me in the room to let me know it was handled. This was one of the finest customer service examples Ive ever seen. Fantastic. The property was phenomenal too. Best hotel experience Ive ever had, at any price.
Just as a comparison Ive stayes at this location in the past multiple times with family and didnt have any issues but for some reason when I stayed here this time it was terrible. The rooms where okay, the ac unit sounded like a diesel truck. The snow wasnt shoveled so it was very slippery and the front desk couldnt really tell us where our room was, just said it was around the building, wow thanks. Just thought it was funny that the hotel staff couldnt tell us where our room was located. We where charged 20 a night for amenities even though their werent any amenities available due to covid-19. Thought that was odd. Also charged parking each night even though their was hardly any parking available near our room. Kinda hard to get too our room when we have to park half way around the hotel when its snowing and 20 degrees out.Just a side note but thought it was odd that the shower head in our shower had very low pressure barely able to take a shower. Just wish we had a better stay especially the fact I chose this hotel to stay at with my plus one. I chose this hotel because of the location due to the fact it was close to all of the local activitys in flagstaff. I was planning on getting engaged to my plus one during our stay and made it more difficult on me more than it had to be.Over all not that impressed with this hotel and service compared to other 36 hotels in a five to ten mile radius and other courtyard Marriotts Ive stay at. Just wish things went smoother... thats why we pay to stay here..
Pretty subpar for the courtyard. Overly crowded parking lot, problematic toilet and sink drain, spotty internet, only microwave is in the lobby, drawers that dont stay closed, no bathroom fan, but all that on top of the anticipated pains of covid.. no breakfast or hot tub, social distancing. I guess its just not a good time to travel everyone.
Very nice tub/shower with a seat at the back! Best of all, the showers water flow rate can be adjusted. It is very strange to pay for outdoor parking, but they have to remove more than 9 feet of snow every winter and then repair the parking lot freeze damage every spring. They need to do a better job at managing the maintenance program and engage the room cleaners. The sinks plug did not work but it did not matter because the sink took 30 minutes to drain. The mirror on the back of the bathroom door clattered every time the door was opened because the bottom mirror bracket had come out. My phone did not charge because the old outlets, in the lights by the bed, have lost their spring tension so the charger fell halfway out. The alarm clock did not work.
We were given a handicapped room, I guess because it was the only one left. Thanks for that. Lovely support bars everywhere. Very charming. Asked to be moved to another room but there was no sympathy.
It was alright... the rooms were clean but our shower could have been cleaner. We were aware of the parking fee because Iβm obviously a Google review reader and writer lol. But, we were unaware there was no complimentary breakfast at this time and all theyβre serving is subpar-overpriced Starbucks. The staff was really nice but generally felt we paid more than the experience of staying here was worth.
Easy contactless check-in and mobile key via Marriott app. Room was clean and quiet on two different occasions that I stayed during a weeklong road trip. They also allow food delivery services to deliver to your room which is convenient.
Positive: Clean, nice hotel on the surface. Negative: Row of Tesla Chargers FACES your window so you cannot open your window or enjoy the views unless you like an endless stream of strangers in Teslas staring right at you. Dumbest set-up ever, should be facing other direction. Beyond moronic.
