Mario is a professional, top notch instructor and I feel lucky to be able to train under his multiple levels of expertise. Go try a free week of JEDI training. It will change your life.
Exactly the type of Jiujitsu gym that newcomers and veterans want to train at. Clean, friendly, and locally owned.
40 year old unathletic person here that has been a student here for about 7ish month. Great place with great people. Mario is a fantastic teacher with considerable patience. He is always willing to answer questions and further break down a technique/move. The students in the class are great and many of the experienced students are more than willing to help the new people.
5/5Ive trained at most of the gyms in the area. Mario is the only legitimate black belt actively teaching in town as far as I know. You wont find a better value in the monthly dues, especially for an instructor with the same wealth of knowledge in bjj, boxing, wrestling and mma. He genuinely cares about every student as a person and is invested in seeing you achieve whatever goals you set for yourselfThe gym is easy to park at and is cleaned several times a day. As an added plus, there is an emphasis on realistic self-defense for beginners and a padded wall to practice on. He offers classes for women only and kids as well! Look forward to seeing more new faces soon
The environment that Mario creates at his school is great for first timers and for people who have been consistently training for years. The gym is clean and well put together with nice mats. Great place to train. 10/10
Amazing gym! This place was everything I was looking for and then some.
66 jiujustu is a great place to train. I was on vacation from California and stopped in. I was a bit nervous not knowing anyone but 66JJ was inclusive, and everyone was very welcoming. It felt like I had already trained there for a while. It was easy to ask questions and Professor Mario made some great adjustments to my game. I also added some new technique to my arsenal. I stood in Williams and made the drive to Flagstaff because the training was that good. The academy is clean, the restrooms are clean, and the mats are in great condition. What stood out to me was if you’re a beginner Professor Mario breaks it down in the easiest way that make sense, and if you’re advance he explains the small but important details you might be missing. They also focus on self-defense techniques that transition well into competition. I have traveled to a lot of BJJ Gyms when Im out of town and 66 Jiu-justsu gave me a great experience. I cant wait to come back and gets some good rolls in.
