Do you like to pay ambiguous fees above and beyond what you were quoted?? Then this is the company for you!! First they charge you per can to rent it, which is fine, I guess, but I thought maybe I would get that money back at the end of my service. Nope. Every billing cycle my bill crept up, until I called and threatened to go with another company, which is honestly what I should have done. There are two people living at my house...we maybe needed trash service once a month, if that, but there was no option for every other week or once a month pickups. $161 for three pickups is absurd. Then, when I finally did cancel service, they told me I would have to pay $75 for them to come pick up my cans. You mean the cans I had already paid for previously? Yes, those cans. I did not get a bill for $75, I got a bill for $111, because they had to charge me $26 in fuel costs to come get said cans. Part of the “applicable fees” they didn’t tell me about. What a rip off, from start to finish. I will never use this company again, nor will I recommend them to anyone else.
They do there job well trained and very professional at what they do thank you for your time and services and keep up the good work.
Worst garbage provider. Do not drop container when asked, missed pickups and NOBODY to actual answer a phone locally or on the 800 number. Zero follow-up to complaints. Would never recommend WM to anyone. Unfortunate that such a large company is so terrible
Overpriced. The phone system is a labyrinth requiring much time to speak to the correct human. Our trash has been forgotten multiple times. And just for spite, a 75.00 cancellation fee! I look forward to having a local company take care of our trash removal needs. Good riddance.

Cant even get someone at the local store. Customer service can transfer and says they dont service the williams area when there are hundreds of dumpsters along the entire 180 that get serviced regularly. The customer service person was rude and unhelpful and just kept repeating they dont service the area and I dont have contact info for the local store....
Wont take pine needles and their phone number directs you to Texas. Usually credit card machine is out of order and they dont except cash
Great group of people working here with the federal government shutdown trash is piling up at the parks had a bunch of snow sleds that people just threw near the trash can because it was full I pick them up and waste management took them with no problem. Thank you for your help so we can keep the forest clean
Buyer beware on Waste Management they are upfront on all their fees wait until you get the bill I had a fuel charge wasnt told about that up front. So I call to cancel and they have a $75.00 cancellation fee. I have never had this from any other company. So I cancelled told them to pick up the can were cancelling them with our company also.
Terrible Customer Service. Called this company to set up service at a home we just purchased. Called back a few days later to cancel when we learned of a local company with much better rates. We never received any service from WM and a dumpster was never delivered to our property. Yet, a month later we received a bill for $253!Between my wife and I we have spent hours on the phone trying to get this resolved. On at least four occasions our calls have been dropped by their phone system, and we’re told there is no way to call someone back directly. This is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with.
Found a much cheaper company. Called WM to cancel my service. Was informed of the $75.00 fee for my two totes to be picked up & asked if I could drop them off instead. Was told there was no place for me to do that and the reason the fee was so high was because they have a 3rd party who picks up the totes. Bull!!!! A WM employee in a WM truck came to pick up my totes. They are not only way over priced but they are liars as well. Glad Im saving over $100 every month with my new trash/recycling service.
HAUL YOUR OWN. This company is a monopoly that is being horribly mismanaged. If there were any competition in the area I would hire them. There used to be (Norton) but WM absorbed them. When I signed up with WM they told me my pickup day is Thursday. For two weeks I watched the guy drive right on by, and on the third Thursday he stopped and told me my pickup day is actually Wednesday. Last Wednesday I watched the guy drive past my loaded container once more. I contacted support and they told me again my pickup day is Thursday (it really, really isnt). Theyre either gaslighting me or they genuinely have no clue when their own routes are run. On Thursday I contacted them again after the guy drove past my container and asked them to send another truck by, to which they responded someone would be by within 48 hours. After that time elapsed with my container still full I contacted them again, and they told me someone would come by the next day, Monday...or by Wednesday at the latest, which is the usual pickup day! That Wednesday they finally picked up my trash.
Terrible, terrible service. DO NOT USE THEM. They havent picked up recycling in months, 3-5 months. When I call to ask why, they gave me a different answer each time. My favorite was when they said trash and recycling is picked up on the same truck now... I would be VERY surprised if they actually recycle anything. They are trying to charge a cancellation fee of $75 now! Ha! DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY.
Customer Service is not very kind - i understand they are unable to come out due to the weather but is there a reason why they called me saying they would provide service the next day? Is there a reason why they said the carriers were on their way when I called the next day when no one showed? Is there a reason why my trash is still yet to be picked up? I called to express my concerns and stated I wanted a refund for a week and she said it would be credited to my next bill. I stated i do not want additional service (i pay quarterly) id like a reimbursement - she asked me how else would you like the credit? i responded check, visa? she said we cannot do that and then I asked, what can you do? she responded we can credit your account. wait wait wait.... Is there a reason why you wanted me to respond with an option of how I would like my credit when only one credit option is available? she said I wanted to know if you had any ideas i havent thought of Are you kidding me? thats the kind of customer service they have??
Waste management has been great for us so far. They bought out our original company and our premium stayed the same. They pick up both trash and recycling on Fridays, about which they sent multiple notices. They also send us nifty news letters, offering education about recycling. One cool tidbit about Waste Management is that they allow you to put even empty glass bottles in their recycling bins! Love it!

If I could give them 0 stars I would. As long as you do not need to call them and deal with them you have no issues but as soon as you have to deal with them is a nightmare. Employees are inept and have no idea what they are doing. You will get different responses depending on who you talk to, they do not notate the accounts and when you call again no one knows what is going and they act as if it is your fault the employee gave you the wrong information and did not notated the account. I am so glad I will not be dealing with this POS company again! If you are able to use someone else just do. I started my service with someone else and ended up with this company because they both companies had a merger, worst company ever!
Had to call twice this week regarding service to our rural cabin and they were nothing but super helpful! Quick call times and very thoughtful service. Thank you Carla and WM crew!
Be prepared to spend hours on hold, not be reminded when your bill is due, be charged an extra $6.50 every pay period just for them to email you an invoice, and to have your bill climb slowly every pay period. This company acts like theyre classy online but theyre terrible. When I emailed requesting help with my bill they wrote back like a week later simply saying Sorry, this department doesnt have any phones so we cant call you back. What the heck?!?
Unbelievable! My regular trash pick-up day is Monday. Trash was not picked up on Monday and I called the office to find out why. Spent 20 minutes on hold to be told due to the holiday and the snow that my trash would not be picked up until Wednesday. Well that did not happen either! Spent another 25 minutes on hold today only to be told that I would have to wait until my regular day to have my trash emptied. Asked to speak with a supervisor who offered no additional help. When the phones were answered locally, persons were polite and helpful. Now they dont know what they are talking about and extremely unhelpful. One star is for the local reps otherwise would be zero!

Unfortunately, our old trash removal service was bought out by Waste Management. By default, we were customers of WM. Over the Christmas holiday, they failed to pick up our trash. The holidays are a period when we have more trash than usual. I called to complain and was advised they would pick up our trash on January 4. I found their service unacceptable and cancelled. They are now charging me a $75.00 container pick up charge plus a slew of additional fees. Essentially, they are charging me to terminate a business relationship in which I received terrible service. Zero stars.
This is the WORST company I have ever had to deal with, when it snows they claim they cannot pick up..... we have a tractor and make sure the path to the dumpster is clear, they have the WORST customer service that I have ever seen!!! My dumpster is still sitting there overflowing driveway is clear, I just get excused when I call and I do not even get to speak to somebody locally, do yourselves a favor, DO NOT sign up with this company if you actually want your trash picked up!

Had services for for 6 weeks and not once have they picked up my trash. They are truly garbage spending 1-2 on phone every week
If I could give negative stars I would. Wednesday - trash day, trash did not get picked up. Thursday, called and they stated they would pick up in 24 - 48 hours, We do apologize. Friday, trash not picked up. Called Saturday, We do apologize, it is scheduled for Monday. Monday, trash not picked up. Called Monday, We do apologize, it will be picked up in 24 - 48 hours. Wednesday, trash not picked up....... The worst customer service I have ever encountered.
Bought out our original trash company and their customer service is HORRIBLE weve been fighting with them ever since they started picking up for us. As soon as I can were cancelling service with them. I would reccomend anyone else.
Hilariously overpriced. Flat rate for a single load starts at over triple what the landfill charges.

Bought out our existing trash company and changed the time of pickup without notifying any of the customers that would be affected. Now they expect us to pay them the same amount to only do HALF of the work that Norton Environmental did, as they apparently dont believe in recycling. So glad weve traveled backward through time on that. Welcome to Flagstaff, where greed runs unchecked and the people mean nothing.
