My boyfriend and I stayed in the suite and we honestly cant wait to go back! The room was nice, quiet, and super cozy plus the views were amazing! Not only that, the girls at the desk were super friendly and accommodating. Definitely plan on staying again in the future! Highly recommend!
As regular guests, we choose this mountain retreat over any others. Always clean and fully furnished. Check-in Staff are always polite and helpful. Relaxation is the key word!
The cabin was perfect! We did have a skunk come visit at our porch our first night! Beds were very comfortable and it was very peaceful!
I absolutely 💯 love this place. The people who run it are just so friendly and kinda. I want to spend every Anniversary, Thanksgiving 🦃, Christmas 🎄 there. I cant say enough its Awesome!!!
Great place to stay in Flagstaff especially with dogs or a large group, but make sure to book in advance since they can fill up quickly!
I only visited delivering Door Dash. The road leading to the cabins are fairly rough like most dirt/unpaved roads are! The exclusive but still close to town location...... Plus the whole Cabins & Forest thing is from what I observed .....late night... Dark out.... Limited visibility....Was hand in hand!! The cabin numbers was posted on the trees which was clever and TREMENDOUSLY helpful!!
Ive been here multiple times for multiple occasions and the place never disappoints, no matter what time of year you come. The cabins are adorable and so cozy and the property is absolutely beautiful. Ive never been disappointed by the view. The wifi is great and has never had any issues for me, and its great to still be connected to the rest of the world while also feeling isolated and being able to light a fire in your own living room. All they ask in exchange for the stay and the reasonable prices is that you clean up after yourself and leave the cabin how you found it, which is fine with me because Id hate to leave a mess in such a gorgeous place, anyway. This is mine and my partners favorite romantic vacation destination.
Thank you Amber for making our Anniversary so special! We stayed here for the weekend and had a wonderful time. This is our new go to place when we visit Flagstaff! Great customer service!
We come here every year because its a great value for what you get. A private sled hill on the property for guests, cabins are always extremely clean, and beds are actually comfortable. Its so close to Flagstaff proper that you can go out for food if you like or even just coffee and a local bakery.
Lovely cabins, feels like being out in the woods but youre very close to town. Owners are great, too!
We had a family reunion here -- the space/accomodations were very workable (just wish the cabins had the option of air-conditioning!) -- we stayed in cabins, and the Hogan -- the only issue that came up was the refrigerator in the Hogan seemed to be struggling, for the entire 4 days we were there, to keep the food cold/frozen, so we tried to spread things out to the refrigerator in the other cabin. The sink in the hogan had pretty low flow -- but I dont think its an issue of water pressure, maybe just a bad sink valve?Great location - not far from gas stations/grocery stores, but you feel like youre outside the city (loads of ponderosa pines around to block out traffic noise). The one big noise source is.... the nearby airport. The cabin property is right under the approach path for landing airplanes... and when airplanes take off, the noise from the engines is very noticeable, but not necessarily disruptive (can start as early as 7AM, just FYI).
Very peaceful & quiet. Highly recommend. Will be a repeat customer. The breakfast was wonderful!
Great value for a quick mountain getaway. Well maintained, cozy cabins. Fun for families or couples.
We were very excited to go to this cabin until we found out all the fires were out there and smoke we asked to cancel and they told us know were going to charge you in full and I said my fiance has COPD and I have asthma we do not need to come up to smoke or trying to get away from the heat down here in the valley, she told me that she would charge our credit card in full if we would not come so we loaded up our car and drove all the way out there and right when we were entering Flagstaff it was just covered in smoke then we got a message on our phone to be prepared to evacuate and still this place would not refund our money!!! When I talked to the lady prior to coming she said when you get here if you have any problems let me know. . . wellll we got there. . . And my fiance had to stay in the car with breathing issues!! I went back into the office as my fiance was using his emergency inhaler!!!!!Still she would not return our money nor the people that were in line in front of me who were leaving early cause thy could not Breathe!!!!!!THIS place made plenty of money during covid but theyre going to take our thousand dollars when we alerted them of breathing issues!! It Is shameful!!! It is wrong!!We are disputing this on our Discover bill this is just a deplorable behavior she charged us in FULL!
Overall great place to stay. Just in the winter got to being a heater next time. Just for my little 1 year old to stay warm.
Wanted to stay only 2 nights but was told we had to stay a minimum of 3 nights and for breakfast WHAT BREAKFAST signs all over don’t do this don’t do that OVER PRICED ! My honest review will probably be taken down because they don’t like sarcasm SUPER 8 would have been better!
We had a great stay here. Checking in and out was very easy. The cabin seemed clean on the surface. Only 2 complaints would be- our feet were so dirty after walking around for less than an hour on the stone floor. We came when there was snow on the ground and we couldnt get up one of the entrances due to the icy conditions in our truck. We had to call to get directions to another entrance and the roads were all icy throughout.
Fantastic place to go to Fantastic Caverns Bread & breakfast in fantastic it got great a special room for a honeymoon
My husband and I decided to stay here in September and we absolutely loved it! Everything about this place was awesome and unique compared to a normal room hotel. We stayed in Cabin 19 which was a cute A frame cabin and perfect for the both of us. We had a light bulb go out and when we went to the front desk they came over right away to help us & replace it. Now there is no TVs but we were happy and okay with that so you can take in everything there. Though we did bring our laptop since they have free wifi to watch something as we wind down before sleep. The cabin itself felt spacious and super suiting for two people. I loved that you slept at the top of the cabin with a ladder to get to the bed. Felt suiting for being in a cabin. Overall we loved the place and I highly recommend to anyone & everyone! My husband and I agreed that we are definitely coming back when we go to Flagstaff again and will bring our pups since it is pup friendly!
We had a fantastic weekend up in Flagstaff and Arizona Mountain Inn and Cabins made it even better! Me and my wife loved the cabin. We plan on coming back and staying in the same cabin. The staff if kind and very friendly. Highly recommend them. The only drawback we had is the bed, they use memory foam and makes the bed a hot box. Otherwise we have nothing bad to say about our stay.
My girlfriend and I stayed here 9/6/20 and it was just fabulous! The manager, atmosphere, decor-just everything was perfect and the scenery was breathtaking. We live in Mesa and essentially everything here is dead or asphalt-or on the way to being dead. The operable fireplace and mints were a nice touch and so was the Jacuzzi. The complimentary breakfast was filling and delicious and I left there feeling better rested that I had in years. In a world of substandard service it is refreshing to be treated like a valued customer. I would definitely recommend this place and visit again when time permits.
We had a family trip booked for March 2020 spring break and well... that didnt happen because of Covid-19. They were accommodating and allowed us to reschedule, we hoped by Oct SURELY this covid stuff would be over and done with. Well 2020 has been full of surprises. We didnt feel comfortable flying during a pandemic with two very young children and the 1,300k drive just wasnt feasible for us either. I spoke with Breanna this AM, she was gracious and understanding with this difficult situation. I appreciated that so very much. 100% WHEN we can go to flagstaff we will be lodging with this business based on their professionalism and hospitality. We cannot wait!
First time staying here, we loved it. Amazing place for a getaway.
Thank you for our pleasant stay. You can tell it was well cleaned. This is our 3 time staying at these cosy cute cabins. My only complain there was no wine glasses. However, there is a Walmart near by where I went to purchase a couple of items along with a wine glass. You will find your eccential items for your stay at these cabins.
Same place we took our neice 20 yrs ago. Really Cool place. Not hotel, but not tent and still peaceful outdoor experience
We had the most fabulous 4 days here last weekend. There is an easy hiking trail 👣 behind the cabins as well.We definitely will be returning.
Had the best of time. The facility couldn’t have been any better. We are in cabin number one. It’s the old original cabin on this property. I could just tell it had a story. The owners of this property were extremely helpful. When I booked our accommodations I told him that we were going to have others for we were going to all gather together for a family reunion. People came from all around The United States. Been in this area turned out so very well. Thank you to the staff workers who were so helpful when we were putting together our agenda. I’d recommend this place to anyone.
Everything was great. Issue with a dog barking from another cabin. Staff was on top of it. The view from our cabin was spectacular. Cabins are fully furnished and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Looking forward to our next stay during the snow season...maybe even a vacation for my parents as an anniversary present.
Nice facility, Great people there
A beautiful place in the pines with 40s and 50s decor. Friendly staff and wonderful atmosphere. A GREAT place to get away!
Nice, comfortable and quiet cabins spread out through a wooded area near Flagstaff. Our cabin was well cleaned and had a very comfortable bed, ample towels and a well stocked kitchenette. There was a small cast iron fireplace in the livingroom.
Its was cozy and nice. But didnt like I have to take out the trash . I am paying for a service. Especially at 250 a night. Cabin cute beds comfy. But there was a old smell to the cabin even spraying air freshener into the air would not lget rid of it. It was overwhelming or else would have gave a 4 stat rating. Decor and sheets and towels need to be upgraded
Great place for our family reunion, we had over 50 people and they had a large area for all of us to meet and have games and spend time with everyone. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Flagstaff!
Ive stayed here several times and recommended them to friends and family.
Would not allow me to make a reservation because I have children. 8 and 10 years old, seriously said because children tend to be loud. We have stayed here in the past with no issues, mind you, but will not be returning after being denied service on a preconceived idea that my children would distrub the other guests. How horrible 😢 and judgmental. Was looking forward to a quiet retreat with my daughters. We will be looking for something less exclusive and discriminating and I suggest you do too.
Favorite place to stay in Flagstaff. Warm cozy cabins great location.
Good place to stay
Just a great place
I love the cabins. When you first walk in it is very welcoming and clean. When we first checked in the workers were very nice and very helpful. I really loved how unique and comfy the cabin was while I stayed there. The pillows on the bed were very comfy and I slept good. I will definitely come back there again soon and hopefully get a bigger cabin so that I can bring my family too to share the experience.
My wife and I have been here 5x already and we love it. We take our dogs with us and it is very peaceful. Whether it is during the summer or in the winter we always have a relaxing time. We recommend these cabins to everyone..The Photo I uploaded of Humphreys Peak was taken from the porch of Cabin 8 in December with a 200MM lens. Just beautiful up there.
Great little place to stay in Flagstaff. A little too pricey for one person to have a get away as it seems to be more marketed towards couples and families. I would love to see an option for 1 person to stay for around $100-$125 and I would be a frequent customer! Otherwise the place was great!
Rooms were very small and hot in the afternoon, no ac.Very uncomfortable beds. Very close too the airport, so the airplanes were super loud early in the morning and afternoon. The bathroom and shower very small and old.
Clean yet cozy in the rustic, cabin-y sense. Easy access to the conveniences of Flagstaff and some of the best hiking trails in Arizona. Highly recommend.
Had purchased a gift certificate at a charity event with the hopes of staying here with my wife. Time got away from me and I was about a week away from it expiring. I tried calling to see if I were to reserve a room and pay in full if I could use it prior to the expiration date but they refused to honor it. In their defense I should have used it sooner but this is really just poor customer service. Rather than paying the difference of $250 they instead get nothing. Additionally, they miss out on the ability for me to refer friends if I had gone and enjoyed myself. On top of that, now they have a less than desirable review. It wouldnt have killed them to just honor the certificate since I did agree to use it prior to the date as well as prepaying for the full stay (even if it were non refundable).
We stayed in the main building. Its a very nice cabin and the room we stayed in was very spacious. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom has very tight spaces but its a rustic sort of place. They serve breakfast in the morning that was very good. Fruit, yogurt and a muffin with your choice of omelet that you specify when you check in. They had coffee, juice, milk, and cereal and oatmeal. Overall very pleasant.
This place was exactly what I needed! Getting out of the burbs with high temperatures at 118 degrees to this beautiful, tranquil cabin in the woods at comfortable 85 degrees! Its definitely on my list of favorites! I highly recommend anyone that needs to get away from T. V. and the demands of daily life, to peaceful quietness to come and escape.
There was no hot water and it is cold .... when I checked out they charged extra for the child when the cabin was for 4 people ... it was quiet and confortable, Ive been here for 3 seasons, and I havent had bad service. But I think it’s the last time I’m here.
Very romantic place to stay and get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life in the pine trees of Northern Arizona.
Nice location, lots of trails
This is the best cabins that Flagstaff has to offer. It is far enough away from downtown flag to feel isolated but close enough of a drive to get whatever you need. All the amenities that wed ever need or included and they even offer a full wedding package that includes the entire cabin property.
Beautiful Cabins and hiking grounds. Loved the escape from the heat.
Great family and pets place. Close from stores and restaurants, still very quiet and private. If you are looking for a quiet and grilling place, this is your place
Great location! We rented out the Hogan for a family reunion and it was a great community space for dinners and games, we even managed to fit a few games of Cornhole into the space when it rained outside. The showers are divine. Great water pressure, big shower heads. My only complaint is the size of the bathrooms in the cabins. There are many things to visit during the day within about an hour and the city of Flagstaff is awesome!
Must say thank you to the owners and staff… Expedia booked our room incorrectly; the owners were very accommodating and made everything right. We stayed in one of the cabins, great mountain feel and were clean. We were not looking for TV or modern amenities which was good because there was no TV in our cabin- not an issue for us though! Thanks again for helping us out with the Expedia issue.
Our extended family held our reunion here. The cabins were cute, clean and quite spacious. There is a small playground in the middle with a cabin the kids love playing in. The only reason I gave 4 and not 5 stars is because the beds werent very comfortable.
Really nice cabins I loved it there no tv in the one I was in but I think some do have TVs. They should really have a porch lights out policy though. I went to there to watch the meator shower and the idots in the cabin in front of us had there light on all night it pretty much ruined the view.
It was okay. Food delivery was next to impossible with 3 or four inches of snow. Their breakfast was pretty good for an Inn. Id probably try the actual cabins next time, didnt feel comfortable in the main house.
Great prices, friendly staff, beautiful view. Id definitely stay here again.
Very nice and clean place. We will definitely be back
Stayed here once and loved it so much I had my wedding here. Great and friendly staff! I definitely plan on coming back!
At max capacity of 6 in cabin 11, we are comfortable. Spending a lot of time on the porch, enjoying beautiful weather. Being able to hang out on the porch makes the place feel bigger.
We had a family event in the Hogan and absolutely loved the amenities. Gas stove and fully stocked kitchen made cooking incredibly easy. Huge fan. A+
Enjoyed our stay. Fun time in the snow around our cabin.
Great accomodations and reasonably priced compared to area hotels that do not have easy access to hiking and the privacy of a cabin.
Very nice setting. Was a little disappointed that they did not have ice. Also the young lady who checked us in was not very helpful. Asked her about a good place to walk/hike, all she offered was a brochure but we had no clue where anything was. We had to leave early to head to Vegas for our flight and our breakfast time was after we were need g to leave so we only got a muffin and fruit. Probably will not return.
The location was awesome. It was close to town but far enough out that it felt like a mountain getaway. The cabins were all super cute. The staff was friendly and shoveled the patio when it snowed overnight!
I will be back! It is a very beautiful place cabin was nice and alllllll the snow!!!
Best cabins in Flagstaff.
Second year staying up here. Great place for the family.
Very average cabin with standard imenities in a good location. No restaurants in cabin area, nothing edible within walking distance. Their website shows photos of food at a bar that makes it appear as though its within the cabin area but its not.
We love the cabins for our escapes from Tucson. Cabin 5 has a whirlpool tub which is perfect for after-hike relaxation. They havent changed much in the last 15 years :)
Great little B and B with cabins to rent also. Convenient to Flagstaff and the interstate but quit wooded surroundings.
Cant wait to spend this weekend there. 3 day weekend much deserved! This place was so much fun. Loved the restaurants and hiking in the area. Now back to the valley:)
Check in was a bit of a chore. Everyone showed up to check in at the same time. There is very limited parking by the office and the office itself isnt that big either. Management should think about a staggered check in procedure to help things go more smoothly. After checkin it was quite easy to find the cabin with the provided map. The cabin was rustic, clean, and comfortable. The only bad thing I have to say about the stay is that the sheets were stained. It looked like they tried to clean them but it was not a successful clean. I would stay again but... I would take my own sheets with me next time just in case.
Stayed the weekend for a wedding and it was wonderful. The grounds and location are beautiful. Stayed in cabin 15 and it was great. I loved that the 2nd floor was a giant loft area so we could feel the heat from the wood burning stove all night. The stairs up to the 2nd floor however were a bit slippery and you have to be extra careful going up and down them. The staff at this location are exceptional. Very friendly and professional. This is an awesome spot I can see myself coming back to.
Amazing cabins. Just what we needed for our wedding party. Quiet, clean and not too far from whats going on in Flagstaff. We stayed in cabin14/15 which are the duplex cabins and it was perfect for our groomsman and bridal party.
Love this wonderful, cozy cabin experience. Close to town, but isolated enough for a true experience on your own.
Nice, quaint cabins; but no A/C. Not that it was too hot (77· inside the cabin during the day), but still might be uncomfortable for some. Cool at night with the fans provided. Very quiet and private.
Stayed there at winter with snow on ground, what a beautiful place, well kept and maintained cabin
We loved the location and cabin that we stayed in. We were a little surprised that we were asked to take out the trash at the end of our stay and that no one comes to freshen the room (exchange clean towels and make the bed). There is also no TV and WiFi is really slow. But we were there to get away from it all and this really was the perfect spot! It was clean and the facilities were nice and well-kept up. Our cabin had a kitchenette with cookware, dishes, and a refrigerator. There is a Wal-Mart and bashes close by and we cooled breakfast both mornings. We loved the large Jacuzzi tub and wood-burning stove that really warmed up the cabin. There is also a nice little playground, hiking trials, and looks like it would be a fun place to come with kids. We were celebrating an anniversary and received a bottle of sparkling cider and nice note from the staff. We will definitely be returning here for future vacations.
Nice change of pace from a chain hotel! Cabins were clean, spacoius, and heated. A wood burning stove is available but not the only source of heat. Its also only minutes from downtown but you would never know it from the cabin itself.
Best place to be if you like snow and the outdoors
Clean and well managed. The sheets in my cabin were high quality and the beds were in great shape and comfortable.
This was our 3rd stay here. We have had a great time always. This time our room was smaller than expected. But still clean and with the usual amenities
We stayed in cabin 6 and had great mountain views. The cabin was clean and kitchen well stocked with plates, etc. It was cozy for 2 people.
Arizona Mountain Inn & Cabins is a really awesome place to stay on a trip to Flagstaff. The cabins are cute and accomodable. Also the shower had hot water, something that is a crapshoot with some competitors in the area, especially during winter! The cabins are appropriately spaced apart to give the guests privacy and help with the cabin in the woods feel. This is great spot to stay if youre in Flagstaff and want something different from a hotel.
Great place to stay if you like cabins in the woods (I love them), not to far from stores, this place is all very nice cabins to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Great views of the mountains were viable right from a couple of the bedrooms.
