I would not recommend renting with hope construction. I lived at one of their properties for three years and had a horrible experience. The property was run down and they were reluctant to fix anything. We had at least one broken window in every room (some with the glass broken and some with the opening mechanism broken), there were stains and holes in the carpet, and a broken dryer that was replaced with another broken dryer. They never did any work around the house until the the month we moved out, there was mold all around the bathroom that I had to fix myself, there was terrible water damage in the dining room, and the house was never cleaned before we moved in (our neighbor saw the cleaning person try to get in then leave when she couldnt). But my biggest complaint would be the management. We had three different property managers in our three years there and only ever met one of them. They were rude and condescending and would blame us everytime something would break. Hope takes advantage of broke college students and I would not recommend renting or working with them.

Hope Construction has been a great company to work with. David Carpenter (the owner) came highly recommended to us from several colleagues who have worked with David in the past on both large (new home construction) and medium-sized (remodel) projects. We had David perform an extensive remodel of our home and we are are extremely pleased with the end result. His bid was competitively priced, his team completed all work on time and within budget, and the superintendent overseeing our project (Kyle) was phenomenal. We have nothing but positives to say about our experience and we recommend this company to anyone looking to remodel or build new in Flagstaff.

My husband and I recently requested a quote on remodeling of two bathrooms. Jason with Hope Construction provided us a quote which we found to be reasonable. After agreeing to utilize Hope Construction, the customer service went down from there. We selected all our fixtures, tile, cabinets, etc. and waited for Jason to provide us the final cost. After several calls and emails that were not returned until three to five days later, Jason provided excuse after excuse why the delay. Starting on the 4th week, finally we received a quote from Jason with double the amount of the original quote. Jason stated it was because of the fixtures we selected were high quality, however we checked out the prices and they were within the middle range we originally were quoted.Based upon the customer service, we will not be utilizing Hope Construction and this is not a company that I would recommend for other potential customers.
