Its a hit or miss. I used Groome for the first time this last trip to Flagstaff. Shuttled from Phoenix to Flagstaff and back again which ends up being a 3hr drive. The first driver was great. The second driver, not so great. This man would literally not stop talking. FOR 3 HOURS. Blabbering on and on and on non stop. Was just a negative experience. Very uncomfortable and not at all relaxing. To pay $50 for a 3hr drive, an unpleasant driver is the last thing any traveler needs!!

Great value on shuttle from PHX to Flagstaff. Friendly drivers, good vehicles, pleasant drive each way. The reservation process and ease of communication with them throughout the planning phase could have been better, but they successfully provided good service at a great price.

Friendly drivers! Very clean vans!! Worth every penny!! I have used the airport shuttle several times and have not been disappointed. The price is more than fair!!! You don’t have to deal with city/airport traffic or the horrible pricing of airport parking!!! They stick to the schedule for pickup and drop offs.

The drivers on both trips are very safe and able driver. But I have a suggestion for the phone operator. I called 2 days before my trip because my plane arrived at Phoenix Sky Harbor at 10:10 am and the pick up is at 10:35. I asked the operator if the driver can wait a few minutes because I dont know if the plane will get delay. I already did my best (no check in bag and paid extra to get priority sitting so to get off first) to make sure I get to the ride on time. But this operator is really bureaucratic : she sounds just like a broken record. She keep repeating like a robot saying the driver cannot wait and will leave on time. I told her I am not asking for a half hour or more wait, just a few minutes. I understand airport parking is restricted but if Groome wants to have a better customer satisfaction then you guys should train your operator to be more diplomatic. The better approach may be just said we will try our best to accommodate your request but I cannot promise anything solid. It will both cover your liability (you did not promise anything) but also make the customer feels a little better. You dont need to go to Stanford MBA program to learn to have a better customer relation.

Just a heads up that if you are looking for the shuttle location outside of American Airlines terminal (4) at PHX, its door #5, North side, and then look for the extremely vague sign on the other side of the taxi area that reads Intercity shuttle. Everyone else there agreed this is way too vague, and it should read Flagstaff/Prescott (etc) Shuttle instead. We called Groome to ask where to go and eventually found it.

I highly recommend Groome Transportation! They brought me to and from Flagstaff. They asked if the temperature in the shuttle was comfortable for me a few times. They also stop halfway at a rest stop for riders to use the restroom. I felt very safe and both drivers I had were absolutely wonderful! 10/10 experience!

I used Groome transportation from Flagstaff Arizona to Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix. Immediately after being dropped off I was greeted in a very friendly manner. My driver Amanda introduced herself it made me feel very comfortable. The ride down was very comfortable even with a full van. I appreciated my drivers friendly personality. GREAT customer service!!! Accidentally bought the wrong ticket and when I called they immediately switched me to the bus I was meaning to take! Have taken this shuttle many times and I’ve always enjoyed it! Never had a bad ride! Definitely recommend

Great service for the college students. I like how it drops off right on campus. The price is very reasonable and affordable . The driver was very friendly and funny. Would definitely use the service again and I would recommend as well.

Our ride from the Grand Canyon South Rim to Flagstaff couldnt have been more enjoyable, thanks in great part to our extremely kind driver, Ed (a.k.a. Big Ed), who, apart from being generally helpful, passed around a batch of delicious apple bars, freshly baked by his five-star wife! What good people they are! When I think back on a beautiful week at the Canyon, my memories will always include Ed and his wife.I had a perfect experience with Groome, and wouldnt hesitate to use them again.

I booked for a cousin of mine last minute. Being an employee I got a discount calling the office directly. I was sent a confirmation quickly and was able to forward that to my cousin. This is the first time I have used Groome Transportation and I was pleasantly surprised! I did check the week before to make sure my reservation made months before was still on the books. It was. They came at exactly the time they said at the Phoenix Sky Airport, at the exact spot they said. The driver was friendly and polite and we chatted during the 3 hour drive. They even made a pit stop half way for our comfort. I was very impressed!

My Groom trip was from the Grand Canyon to the Flagstaff Airport.They were on time, the van and the drive were comfortable, the price was reasonable and the driver was friendly and helpful. We had interesting conversation about the beautiful scenery we were passing.

Clean, comfortable van. Drivers are always friendly and approachable. Price is a bit high but very reasonable. Most important: Punctual. Ive taken four 2-way trips and the van has arrived within 5 minutes of schedule every single time, extremely reliable.

Driver was early at the pick up spot which made it easy for early birds to get bags loaded so we could leave on time. My driver was pleasant, courteous and assisted me with my luggage. Ride was quiet, clean and comfortable. Best of all, it arrived on time at my drop off site. Would use this service again in a heartbeat.

I felt safe enough to take a nap from Phoenix to Flagstaff.But even before I rode with them the dispatcher took the time to find out which of their stops was closest to my hotel so that I wouldn’t have far to travel. I will definitely be using them again at the other end of my trip!

The driver was great and on time for pickup. We actually arrived at our destination slightly early which was a big plus. The only downside to the trip was that the inside of the van was cold and could have used a little bit of heat, considering the freezing outside temperature. Also it was obvious that at least one wheel needed to be balanced on the van because it was shaking off and on the entire way from Flagstaff to Phoenix and was a little disconcerting. Overall though, the experience was good and I would definitely use this service again.

Our driver to Flagstaff, Roger Tsosie, was the absolute best. He was professional, kind, and very safe driver. Its a big deal entrusting ones safety to a stranger but with Roger, by the time we arrived (perfectly on time), I knew I had been lucky to be driven by such an conscientious driver. Thank you.

Our flight plans got changed, we were re-routed on a different airline and came in at a later time than planned. Groome was on top of it all and updated our reservation before we contacted them. The service and value are top notch. We will definitely use Groome again when flying out of Phoenix.

My experience riding with you guys was great its just I wish you guys just were able to put the money I had in a ride I missed due to a flight delay. Into my next shuttle so I paid over 150 when it should have just been 100. I did call to Let them know my flight was delayed and I would miss the shuttle I had to pick me up and they told me I had to pay for a new shuttle. I had no control over delays of planes. Especially when we were delayed because we were waiting for a flight attendant

My son and I had a one-day visit in Flagstaff Arizona. I wanted to take him to the Grand Canyon and was recommended to groom. Starting with the phone call, the operator was very courteous and helpful. It was a very easy process. She explain the different stops that they would be making.The driver was very courteous and shared information that was important on going and returning trips. My son is a disabled vet and he was courteous enough to get us closer to the south rim at the canyon. He showed us the hotel where we would be picked up. That was appreciated.On the return trip, we did call and let them know we were headed to the pick up site. We thought we were at the correct location at the hotel. That was my fault that we were not. The driver graciously waited. We finally got around to the right side of the building and he was waiting.As for the price, we heard that it could run as much as $ 150 per person. That is approximately what we paid for both of us. The vehicle late model was very nice and clean. It was a very pleasant experience.

Big Ed was right on with telling us the time line of the trip to Flagstaff. The van was clean and comfortable. Big Ed even shared some amazing cranberry walnut bundt cake his wife made.

Shuttle was on time and comfortable even when full. Our driver Harry went above and beyond and provided great details on the area around Phoenix and Flagstaff for those that hadnt been there before.

All the drivers, so far as Ive seen are pleasant. Its usually a faster trip than estimated time. My only complaint would be that they dont open the windows and pressure builds up in the van. (Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon are over a mile above sea level)

Great day-of-service. Friendly and helpful driver. Easy to find the shuttles -- just to the side of Maswik Lodge. Smooth ride all the way back to Flagstaff from the Grand Canyon. The only thing that was troublesome was that their system was unable to email us a receipt after three attempts and at different times. The first person I got on the phone when setting up the reservation had a bit of a downer attitude based on the tone of their voice but in the end, I set up the reservation with no trouble. Would definitely recommend them for anyone hiking out of the Canyon after a raft trip or just heading to the Canyon for the day.

I had driver Harry who was wonderfully courteous, respectful, and thorough. He communicated very nicely with the group about ETA and plans for stops which helped put the traveler’s mind at ease. The company worked hard to help someone who was late catch up with the van at another stop which is more than a lot of companies do. The vans were very comfortable, great condition, and kept at a perfect temperature. I really couldn’t expect anything better from a shuttle service! Thank you so much!

This was the first time I’ve used their services and am thankful I found them. I needed to get up North to get a vehicle but didn’t want to bother anyone for a ride from Phoenix. $50 and I was on my way. The driver was professional, courteous and most importantly, safe. We made it up the hill quickly and arrived at my destination with time to spare.

The vans are comfortable and have headrests and seat/shoulder belts so they are safe. My driver was very helpful and friendly. They dont have agents inside at the airport so you just have to go wait outside at the time your van is supposed to leave. That is not a good experience since the air quality is very poor in those areas and in Phoenix that day it was over 110 degrees out. Given current technology, they need to figure out how to text everyone when the van arrives. If this were fixed I would give them five stars.

The initial scheduling and pickup arrangement was done very well. The Groome scheduler was very helpful and indicated that we could be picked up a little early from our hotel location rather than one of the designated pick-up sites. This made the our lives much easier than worrying about how to get to a pick-up site and then get our truck back to the hotel. This extra effort is greatly appreciated!

Extremely disappointed. Took me over 15 minutes to find the shuttle stop at the Phoenix airport... construction has door 9 blocked off. I asked multiple airport employees how to get to Arizona Shuttle and each gave different instructions. No Arizona Shuttle employees (apparently they dont staff this terminal). I walked back and forth down the airport baggage area 5 times and almost missed the shuttle because of this. If the driver didnt show up 10 minutes late like then I wouldve been out of luck. Finally realized I could go out door 3 and walk outside all the way down to door 9 (past the construction). Arizona Shuttle needs to provide the correct info on how to find their shuttle stop- dont tell me to walk out door 9 if it doesnt exist! Communicate better with the airport and its employees!! Please staff terminal 3 throughout the rest of construction!! For $50 shuttle I expect better.

Very prompt and got us from Grand Canyon to Flagstaff well in time. Safe driver under snow and rain conditions. Would highly recommend.

Schedules can be hard to align, and drivers can be a little fast; but this is a very convenient service that I was ever so grateful for heading to and from the Grand Canyon!

Our vehicle broke down about 25 miles from our destination. They had to send another van for us. it took about an hour for them to arrive. The only reason why the rating isnt lower is because the drivers were awesome and did everything they could to keep us comfortable and to accommodate us when we got into Flagstaff. Though I know mechanical issues happen, it sounds like other drivers had expressed concerns about this particular vehicle.

Everything worked perfectly with our Groome shuttle from the Grand Canyon to Flagstaff. in fact, we arrived early and the driver graciously allowed us to take the earlier shuttle and then dropped us off directly at our car. Excellent and efficient service!

They left me stranded at Amtrak station in the snow when I had no jacket I was there at 8:28 and the shuttle supposed to leave at 8:30 I’ve use these people for 10 years and they told me they would wait for me but they lied and just took off anyway and I had to get a hotel which cost me $150 which I did not have right before Thanksgiving if I could give them zero stars I would and no one ever even called me to redeem any type of money or anything very selfish people that think only about themselves

Rode from Flagstaff to the Phoenix airport. The ride was comfortable and safe. Our driver was very courteous and kind, offering conversation to help pass the time and even making a quick pit stop before we pulled out of Flagstaff (because the restroom at the train station where I was picked up was unexpectedly closed). A brief break was taken at a truck stop along the way, so we were able to use the restroom and buy a hot drink if we wanted to. The price was right, too, as I would have spent about that in fuel for my own car + airport parking fees. You cant beat this!

It was nice and not crowded at all. Arrived earlier than expected. Seats were nice and the bus was clean. Am planning on riding with them again.

Representatives on the phone were helpful and efficient. The driver was very friendly and made an extra effort to drop me off close to my hotel (much appreciated considering the freezing weather).

The AZ shuttle was a great way to transfer from Flagstaff to Sky Harbor Airport. It was $40 & took just under 3 hours for the comfortable, scenic ride. They can pick you up at the Amtrack Station in the center of town or at the University & a few other locations. The van was roomy & nice & clean. It makes a stop at the scenic overlook rest stop so you can take a bathroom break, stretch your legs & get a snack while you enjoy the view of Black Canyon. I highly recommend this shuttle & save your friends & family the long drive into Phoenix.

Its a very convenient way to travel from flagstaff to Phoenix. The only problem I experience is each driver drives differently, some stop while others dont, therefore the arrival time is not consistent. It has varied by 30-40 minutes which is significant when its only 2 hours away. It would be nice to have the same driver have the same route each week so you know what to expect for arrival times and plan accordingly.

The shuttle was an awesome way to get around while I was in AZ! The drivers are courteous and friendly. They helped with my heavy suitcase and were on time picking up and arriving at my destination! The prices are fair and well thought out. I would recommend taking the shuttle while in AZ.

This is actually the only way to get the grand canyon without a car!They are always available and smiling ( iIhad two trips with them ) and they try to sutisfi the costumers as much as they can.For example the second trip o had, was in a snowing late afternoon; one if the costumers had a short time to catch another shuttle from flagstaff Amtrak. Well, Evan - if i am not wrong - made it possible! We had a safe travel and he arrived in time anyway!They help you in management your reservation and with your baggage! They are the perfect assistance for travellers!

The two drivers, Big Ed and a Navajo lady (forgot her name) were very nice, accommodating and informative. The 3 recent times I took the shuttle, I asked for a window seat because I am so sensitive to being car sick/motion sickness and they saved me the passenger seat. I cannot tell you how grateful I am for this and made my travels much more pleasant. The drivers were very good and careful drivers. Because of these recent experiences, I am more than likely to be a returning customer, and I recommend highly.

Good experience with them, which is usually the case. The driver was careful, but kept his speed near the speed limit and also the stop was short. Their drivers rarely exceed the speed limit by more than 5 mph, but unfortunately I have occasionally had some who drive well below it for no apparent or good reason, like traffic or weather.

Very nice and helpful driver. Asked where we were going and advised the other drop off location which save us a lot of money because not only we didn’t need to get a long taxi ride but also we could use a free airport-hotel shuttle bus. The driver had cold waters for passengers. There was one stop on the way at the gorgeous view point. The whole journey was fast, comfortable and very pleasant.

Well, it’s usually pretty good and I get to where I need to go, this time around I was dropped off at the wrong location, I’m not sure whether it was a system error or not but my itinerary listed the droppoff location where I needed to be, but was told by the driver I was listed to be dropped off elsewhere. Double check with the driver or company to make sure you are going where you need to go.

This is the only game when flying to Phoenix. There is a reason. Groomed has no competition. Fast, prompt and courteous fills the bill every time!

I have now taken 1 round trip with Groome. I was very happy to know that their service was available, since it was not feasible for me to take my own car from Flagstaff to PHX. While in the Grand Canyon, we had a change in plans and needed transportation back to Williams before our scheduled trip back on the train. Groome Transportation was able to get us back to Williams at a very reasonable price. Our driver, Ed, was very nice and knowledgeable about the area. He got us safely to Williams right on time and we were able to continue on our trip.

Great way to return home after a long journey. I was very appreciative of the van waiting a couple of extra minutes because of my delayed arrival. Everyone was understanding and we arrived in Flagstaff exactly on schedule!

My daughter is the one that uses this transportation to get from college campus to airport. It has been a great experience for her. We took the shuttle from Phoenix Sky Harbor airport to Flagstaff, then on to the Grand Canyon and back to Flagstaff. The drivers, Brittany and Jeffery, were great. We felt safe and they answered all of our touristy questions we pestered them with. The Vans were clean, tidy and comfortable. Id definitely use them again.

My 4-year-old daughter and I took the shuttle from Flagstaff to Sky Harbor Airport. I was a little concerned about my daughter making the trip, but her car seat fit easily in the van, and we stopped halfway for a pee and snack break (we didnt use it, but I did notice a few seats with LATCH car seat attachments). The driver was super friendly as well. Will likely use again!

Driver Harry was awesome!!! He was so polite and helpful. This was the second time I have used Arizona Shuttle and both times the drivers have been really nice. The first time the van was nearing retirement and was really shaky. This last ride was better, but you can tell that the vans are well used. Not the smoothest of rides, but it was clean, and I felt safe. I definitely will use this service again.

Bus was nine minutes late at the pickup location (Metro Center). The website stressed being 15 minutes early but no Van in sight. Had to call the office to verify we hadn’t missed the bus. Would be very helpful to have some sort of signage as we had no idea if we were even in the right place.I realize traffic can be highly variable but still!

The gentleman that drove the van was fantastic and I would certainly recommend this service to others. My mother-in-law and mother have taken this shuttle 3 times and have been very pleased. A little pricey but worth it to avoid having someone drive them to the Valley and back! Only thing Id change is to have them really emphasize that they pick up on the east lot of the Amtrak station in Flagstaff. They say that in the confirmation email, but its easy to miss.

This service saves me SO much hassle: picks me up just outside baggage claim at Sky Harbor airport and loads my bags or at the town of my choice and drops me off at my terminal.I have found every driver to be professional, friendly, and safe. We were stranded in Williams, AZ (car trouble), and all other transports to and from the Grand Canyon were booked or were way too expensive. Excellent experience!! Timely service and so many options to reserve a spot, as well as times for pick-up and drop-off. They have many more destinations than I originally thought. My shuttle route was Flag to Phoenix. There were flurries and low visibility, weather I would not drive in myself. Our driver, Nina, was confident and took great care of all us! We arrived safely and timely to our destinations. Thank you so much and this will be my first choice for shuttle service.

Driver was courteous and competent. Rear tires maybe needed a rebalance. Some vibration at highway speed. Not excessive but noticeable even on smooth roadway.

We have been using this local business for 17 years. The company has expanded several times.It has consistently had excellent service.We have only used the passenger service.The drivers are very good.We have never been late and Ive never missed a single transfer.We have also never had an accident.The interstate between Tucson and Phoenix is very heavy traveled and it is amazing it is always on time.I have never considered using a different agency..

Had a great experience with Arizona Shuttle. Starting with the nice people who booked my van. The helpful young women at the airport who got me on an earlier van so I didnt to wait at the airport. Then our driver who made an unscheduled stop to help a young man on our van. Nice folks all around.

Ive used Arizona Shuttle a few times now and have had an excellent experience every time. The shuttles are punctual, clean and the drivers are nice. Picking up the shuttle at the airport was also just as smooth. Excellent service all around

It was a good ride! Even for 9pm on a Sunday, the driver was lively and safe and held a good conversation if you wanted to talk to him. Some people just slept and that was okay, too. Smooth and timely and I’m glad this option is available. I’ll defini be using it again!
