I worked for Penske Logistics. They promise bonuses that I have never seen the one that I did see was 6 weeks after I was supposed to receive it. The work is easy but the work is repetitive and boring. I’m tired of the false promises Penske owes me $1,500 in bonuses that I haven’t received. I was told there was a position available for 1st shift as long as they stocked up the other shifts they would post the job listing for 1st shift. I first was told it would be posted soon. then i was told it would be a month. Then I went back and I was told 3 months. Now they don’t even know when they will post that position. Penske has a turn over rate so bad and they wonder why. They can’t keep anyone because they promise people all these things and can’t deliver. I’m a hard and intelligent worker I work above and beyond working standards if I can. It’s hard to get along with most floor workers in Penske as they are miserable from working so much overtime all the time that when the new people are learning they yell and scream at you not to do something a certain way. I personally have been yelled at by several people on 3rd shift while being trained. Although that didn’t bother me it would bother most people. Penske has tons of benefits tons of bonuses and tons of other things that is worth working for them. But it’s not worth even getting the job if they can’t deliver what there preaching. I got one thing to say and that is that management is the best. Other than not delivering promised bonuses the management and supervisors is pretty good at understanding that there company at this location sits there and lies to every employee that walks through there door. I highly recommend to not work at this location and try a different location I think Penske logistics has potential but not this location they need to burn it to the ground and start over. I rate this Penske location 1 out of 5 stars after working there from December 2020 to May 2021 . I will not take it any longer. I know my worth as an employee. I’m not to crazy about working my life away for $17 a hr even if the job is easy and boring but if you can’t keep promises then that’s where I draw the line. every time I think about how precious and how short my life is I realize my worth a little more each day. 1 out of 5 stars I do not recommend. I’d rather work for McDonald’s on 1st shift at $15 a hr or Ohio logistics on 1st shift for $15 a hr or DHL supply chain on first shift for $17.50 a hr. PENSKE LOGISTICS ( 181 standford parkway ) right beside whirlpool is Garbage DO NOT FALL FOR THERE LIES.
