Lived at the same address for 6 years. Never had an issue until my mail was being tampered with. Put my mail on hold and told the post office what was going on and they were all willing to help. Now, is a different story. April of 2021 til last week and then, it was over. They no longer wanted to help and told me what I needed to do. I did just that and now, they are trying to turn the issue on me. The front desk help is terrible and rude. The postmaster herself, is just as bad. I will be so glad when I dont have to deal with those people. Absolutely horrible service.

The carrier sped past my home without stopping. I know that I had mail to be delivered because I am regularly notified on the app. Not only was the carrier speeding in my subdivision, but she was also talking on the phone. Today’s date is Saturday, June 26. Time was approximately 2:35 pm.

Awful service. Many miss deliveries. Twice prescription meds were delivered to the wrong home! Half hearted management attempts helped for a while.Now an important report mailed from 50 miles away is missing and two weeks late. I verified it was sent. There is no answer on the managers phone that I was given for the previous problem! Tried to get through to register another complaint (800 number) and ended up in an endless loop of press 1 for... with no way to get to a real person. Absolutely the WORST.

I have had issues with the Festus Mo post office /mail carrier on several occasions. Not receiving water bill.mail not getting delivered.I mailed a bill at festus post office on inside box on 8-20 to a festus address and 8 days later It had not made it to its destination.The mail carrier getting in HURRY and putting mail in wrong box.People who get mail thats NOT theres mail trash it or dont put it back in mail bin to be re delivered seems to be a problem also.

Very friendly staff and even if line is extremely long, they work hard to get you in and out.

They could instantly raise ratings by one star here if they had a separate drop off lane for prepaid, i.e. people not buying stamps. About half the line is always people just trying to drop off a prepaid but theyll let the line back out onto the street lol, typical government innovation.Update: one star now that they not only alleviate with a much needed drop off section but refused a Poshmark label because it wasnt todays date, Poshmark pays USPS for special shipping privileges that expand several days out from a printed label, have had zero issues with it anywhere else except at this location. Crystal City PO is far better, just save yourself some time and go there

I liked my experience, I had a package that was supposed to be sent to my parents house, got canceled and was in process to be sent back to seller, but I called my local Post Office and explained the situation and the lady who helped me was super helpful and understanding! So instead of having to order another item I will be getting my package tomorrow instead to my address. Super awesome I didnt have to wait and try to order it again! Thanks guys! You are the best.

I dont understand why my mail was not delivered today. I was expecting 5 pieces of mail, one which was the long awaited stimulus check and another check I was expecting.WHY WAS MY MAIL NOT DELIVERED???????Now, since I am on the latest of delivery times that constantly varies between 1:30 to after 5:00 and there is no guarantee it will even show up tomorrow before the banks close I cant get these needed checks into my bank account - BECAUSE MY MAIL COULD NOT BE DELIVERED TODAY!!!!This happens often, along with getting mail that isnt mine. Poor service and I will be ringing the phone off the hook in the morning to intercept my mail!!!!

Your driver postal driver almost hit me with car I had to jump out of the way they flew around corner at vfw dr. At dead end by cross house 431 vfw dr. The driver for vfw drive and road at dead end of vfw dr. On left should be fired immediately we have 3 yr old and 10 yr old kids

When they can’t deliver mail because of 2.5 in of stow for days what happens when they are confronted with let’s cut delivery days and lay off workers? You need to wake up before it is too late

Dee and our carrier were so helpful in solving a local mystery! I submitted a claim after a package was posted as delivered, but wasnt on our porch. The very next morning, I received a phone call and the local carrier was at our door with the missing package! I admit, I had assumed the worst...So grateful for their kindness, quick service and attention to detail! Thank you so so very much for getting me my eyeglasses! I can see clearly now, so again, I thank you all!

I had an issue with my package not being delivered (my own fault). I don’t recall the woman’s name but she assisted me over the phone and in the office. She was more that delightful and helpful with my situation. I received my package today, in excellent condition. Your time was very much appreciated (you know who you are).

Sign on door said Fenton is open on Presidents day. Its NOT. I called and they said our office is closed. Could have potentially cost me 1.5 hours of wasted drive time and 15 bucks in gas. Come on, you can do better than this.

Customer service is on the bottom of their priorities, the people that work behind the counter most of the time are more interested in talking about anything but postal service and theyre slow and they can be rude at times more often than not.

They always give me hope. No matter how much change there is in the world, I can always depend their staff and carriers to display the utmost incompetence in performance of their duties. It does the heart good to know that theyll hold onto a trackable mail for 2 days, just to send it back to St. Louis. All of this for a package that was supposed to be 2 day delivery. Thats a level of customer service that you can only get from the USPS. So, thank you for always being a shining beacon of hope in my life Festus Post Office.

Terrible customer service and lazy!! I arrived 5 minutes before closing and had two boxes that I need to ship to Canada. I was told that they close in 3 minutes so they didnt have time to process my packages since they werent ready. I would absolutely get fired from my job if someone called at 4:28 PM and I told them I couldnt handle their need because I closed in two minutes. They shouldnt claim to still be open if they cant serve every customer that comes in prior to their close time!

Im from out of state and called with a question that required some research. Candy (sp?) was very helpful and friendly. Thats not the usual attitude I get when calling post offices. (I own an eCommerce company and ship thousands of USPS packages a year, so we have to call them often enough.) Thanks, Candy!

I went in first thing monday morning to cash a postal money order but was denied. The cashier acted as if they dis not have the money to cash it. I was told to come back on the afternoon. I know when this money order was purchased there was no mention of a time limit. This is a business and no one else wants to cash a postal money order.

Great post office. The staff are friendly and not usually a long wait. Parking can be bad when it is closed if you are trying to get to your PO Box. Not sure who uses the lot, but it makes it hard to get your mail.

BAD! We always get wrong mail sent to our house. I would say about 4 out of 5 times we get the wrong mail and have to stick it back in the box and write a note on it. We notified they carrier and office clerks and were told to do whatever we wanted with the mail or throw it away! Many times we drive the mail to the correct address so they get their mail ! Very unprofessional office staff, rude, and long wait times. It is a simple fix concerning the wrong mail, all they have to do is take a look before putting mail into the box. My 4 year old could do a better job with communicating to customers and matching a mailbox and street name to the correct mailbox and street name on an envelope. We also have a p.o. box to help get our mail to us and not lost but seems that they still cant get that right either. Very frustrating.

The staff here can be pretty sad and very disappointing. Depending on who you get at the front desk you literally have to do their job for them. For instance, I had a lady who rung me up the wrong stamps and then accused me of telling her the wrong thing. I had asked for Post Card stamps and she conveniently rung me up for the more expensive Forever stamps. For one thing, they sound nothing a like. Second, how about just fix the problem instead of calling me a liar? Or perhaps invest in some hearing aids to prevent further issues. Rude.

Not sure what is going on at this Festus Post office but really tired if the bitchy post ladies inside and so tired of our mail coming at different times every day and every week. We have at least 3 to 4 different mail carriers. Our mail come anytime between 9:45am and 7:15pm. Last Satueday, I watched the letter carrier throw my neighbors box on the porch. It coukd have been a breakable. Everyone I EVER talk to, gets their mail pretty much the same time EVERY DAY! There is no more excuses that can be told! GET it right!! And why is it, the Festus post office looks as thought they are moving out! I go to a lot of post offices and they look nice, why does Festus look so bad???

Pretty sad for two days now our mail isnt delivered till 7 to 7:15 . The lady hasnt even bothered closing the door on the mailbox. ANYTHING other than a size of a letter she folds it and crams it so hard in the box you cant hardly get it out. Whats next ? Going to just throw our mail in the yard as you drive by. Very disappointed!
