While the clerks were ultra helpful. The installation of a dishwasher into the garbage disposal outlet and hookups and the three additional days of getting that fixed made it a nightmare. Paying for them to install it had a price in stress and aggravation not listed in the sticker price. Buyer beware, cheaper to pay a child to mess up the installation.

We drive 27 miles to get there every time we go, and then back again. For us, its worth the drive compared to our small town stores.

Was horrible! Couldnt get any help with a toilet, had to get it down by myself, onto cart. Only lane open was self check out & the little girl there was to busy playing with her friends to answer any questions from actual customers. Needless to say i had to load toilet by myself up into back of truck. Very thankful for another customer who jumped in to help me. This store needs SERIOUS ATTENTION! CLEAN HOUSE

Its Lowes... Pretty good overall but not great. Had a conflict regarding a paint return and exchange that happened because the employees apparently werent schooled in what to do. They insisted they didnt do that. My irritation level and insistence to speak with the manager finally got it done.

My favorite place! Understocked but I make do because its local and convenient. Staff in garden outdoor center could be more helpful.. as 5 young Male associates looked at her and just walked past continued stocking shelves and the old lady struggling with cart not offering assistance... I feel thats rude they could have at least offered her to push cart to checkout and get a lighter one. This was the first time I saw that as most other associations offer assistance. I had my husband come in and assist because I wont bother with Associates like that. Im like almost a daily customer as I find crazy reasons to go there. But other than that its a awsome place.

Ordered shelving unit online but system used Ca store instead of local one. Called CS and they sent order to local store. Arrived at store before they picked my order but didnt have to wait long for it. Parked in designated Vet parking and received Vet discount on said order. Ive never had a real issue with these stores though I heard 2 different people complaining about service.

I was buying fence boards. I couldnt locate what I was looking for, as it was not stacked with the other fence boards. I asked a staff member in lumber for help to find it, of course he pointed and said its down there. The product was located at floor level, not stacked properly, I had to bend and get under the racking to get the boards. Im 71/female. Not a single person working in lumber asked if they could help me. Very poor customer service.

Seams like turnover is kinda high new employees about every other time I go in there. Mabe management needs more traininging from HR? As the employees are the most valuable asset a company has. Just saying seems funny that turnover is so high in such a small community. Also why is it so hard to get something shipped anymore mabe another decision from top that has lost connection with the bottom for the sake of the bottom line? Hope Lowes figures things out how to value its employees and customers better or Ill be driving to sparks home depot soon.

Lots of times they are out of the items Im after since this is the only real hardware store in town but no overall complaints.

I would give no stars if I could!!!Totally disappointed in their customer service. Called out of Elko and was told they were selling utility trailers on the weekend, and that someone would be there until 9pm to help us. Drove 270 miles from Elko to Fernley only to find out that there are no trailers and the person able to help us left. Very bad business practice!

I knew where my items were on the shelf. So I didnt need help. The shelves were well stocked and the store was clean. The cashier was awesome. I am disabled and they put their scooter back for me. I will be a return customer.

Nice to have a Lowes close when you need one. Sometimes I feel like Im ALWAYS there and other times I realize that when I grow up I want to work at Lowes!! Friendly staff members make it a nice place to shop, without hovering around trying to help. If help is needed, you dont have to look very far for someone who usually knows more about what it is you are fixing, than you do :)

I go here 4 their nice plants that they discount sometimes. Can usually find what i need. What makes it just ok is the self checkout area being stalked by an employee who positioned herself to make sure i rang up all my items. She was so close she could read my screen. Self check out means i dont need ur help, and if i did, Id call u. I came here with money to spend. If there was another option i would use it.

Not happy with liwes in fernley. Ordered a kitchen sink on February 20th, and it took almost 1 month to finally get it. And then they didnt bother to tell us that we also had to buy the drain inserts.

Just another lowes. They dont stock a lot of standards for being the only big hardware store.for like 60mi. Staff avoids contact. Probably because they dont know anything.

Lots of out of stock items. Limited selection of outdoor water and well products.

Good place to go. They have just about anything you need. The clerks are helpful as well. I will be going back again

Lowes is the only place close to purchase home repairs, household needs,So I continue to go there to purchase my home repairs and improvements, I dread going to Lowes because the store seems to be short staff can hardly ever find anyone to help you and when you do find someone to help its usually not their department, some of the the customer service are very helpful and friendly. I find that there are way more unhappy employees working there.. especially the older lady that always works the check out, she is super unfriendly and I have actually put my things away because I did not want to go through her check out..Its unfortunate because Lowes actually has most everything you need, I feel the store needs to find better management. Help the employees out that do enjoy there job, and fire the employees that dont have the time to help there customers.

The gentleman who was working in the paint department was extremely helpful. I think his name was Gary or Greg. He guided us through through the processes if painting out kitchen cabinets. But the lady at the checkout charged us for a free sample. Very rude.

Lowes does not make it a priority for its personnel to learn about their products for their customers. Plus weve found ourselves looking for someone to help with no success and waiting lengthy amounts of time for assistance only to be met with attitude. As if were interrupting them from something more important. Also, I dont know how many times I asked for help only to be left without answers, and frequently, more questions. It would be one thing if it were just one store out of hundreds but we travel a lot throughout our beautiful country and have had the same experience at nearly every store. Because we know this about Lowes and weve visited so many, we pretty much dont ask anymore. The 3 stars are for the cleanliness of the store and accessibility.

Well I was greeted by a young man named Brandon who asked if he could help me find something so told him what I was looking for he knew right were it was and showed me I had some questions about the prodject I was working on and he was very knowledgeable and gave me some great advise which really help out a lot. it is nice to see a young man take the time and listen as well as be so helpful he made my trip to Lowes wasa very successful trip

I found the bolts I needed but should have gotten washers too. Wish there were associates there to help.

I find myself using their app to try to locate items in the store as its easier to find Waldo than it is to find someone who works there. Ive had employees look me in the eye and turn the other way rather than asking if I need help on numerous occasions. Customer service is not important here but they have a lot of options for supplies.Edit: Dropped my rating down. Today, I spent an hour waiting for my paint order for 1 gallon and 1 quart of paint. I understand that they were having to help several people, however 3 people that arrived and ordered after me left long before me. Take your time and money and go elsewhere.

Went shopping for garden plants and herbs, the selection was excellent and the stock was well tended and in healthy shape. Have shopped at this store a number of times (usually for hardware, tools or building materials) and have almost always been satisfied.

I only needed a garbage disposal but the associate let me know that i would need plumbers putty and the electrical cord for the unit.

Went to buy a vanity and top, with a shower base and surround and had no assistant to help me. Waited for a while and rerang the assistant alarm for the second time with multiple associates walking by with nowone Arnolaging me. I left, going to the competitors.

The price of wood is outrageous! & they keep moving stuff around which makes it harder to get in and get out.

Great store, found everything I needed and one of the employees helped me liad my cart with 50 boxes and helped mevto myvtruckcand loaded them up..I just had back surgery so their gelpnis greatly appreciated.

From the moment I picked my tree out, they lifted it for me, cut off the bottom, wrapped it in netting & loaded it in my car! You cant ask for more than that! Always have had a great experience here! Bought a refrigerator, very expensive, and it wont even be here for 6 weeks.

I called on some Lag Bolts. They checked to see if they had them. Came back on the phone and said they did. I drove up from Silver Springs. Went in and got the bolts and was back to work in no time.
