Having brought my vehicles here over the span of several years, and as recently as two days ago, Dave, Ken and everyone on staff have always been honest with the extent and cost of work needed to be done, and have treated me with respect every time. Their quality of work is without any doubt one of, if not the best within a 5 to 10 mile radius of where I live. My only regret about coming here is that I did not do so several years ago when I should have all along.

Experience was awesome, long wait time, but at least 20 people dropped off while I was there. They called, price was acceptable and they called 2 hrs later...all in all ...it was a great experience...

I was changing my wheels and tires on my Wrangler and went here on a recommendation. Their work was pretty darn quick and everything looked great. I was then having a sensor issue with one of the wheels and Rachel and Chris really took their time and tried everything and eventually figured out the issue. They were both very nice and took their time to explain everything they did and why since I am not very knowledgeable about car stuff. I will be coming here for ALL my future automotive issues/repairs. A real A+ operation at this all in one auto shop.

My dad sent me here back in the early 90s for my first car repair after I botched trying to fix it myself. Over the years I have taken nearly all car problems to them. In all the years they have always been honest, up front about length of time, provided loaners when they had them, and even lowered the price on a very costly repair during some hard times. I dread the day if and when they close up. They will not rip you off. I suggest calling ahead if you are going to need a loaner. They are usually busy and obviously cant have enough for everyone all the time. Great group of people.

Love this repair shop! I have brought my car here a couple of times based on the recommendation of a friend, and both times they were able to repair my car quicker than they expected and with reasonable prices. Everyone is also very friendly and they take their time to explain what is going on with your car. Cant recommend them enough!!!

This place is always great. They are very knowledgeable, they brought to my attention the problems of the Ford/Lincoln lug nuts. My manufacturer supplied lug wrench would not fit over lug nuts on my car last night. Between AAA and Wetmores my spare was put on and I was able to get my new front tires. I cant imagine having a flat on a winter night and finding the wrench would not fit over the lugs.Whenever Ive had a problem with my wheels or tires this is where I go for the best work. Good work for a fair price.

I have a 2006 Chevy Malibu and I always keep up with the maintenance. I have had difficulty finding a dependable garage but I took my car to Wetmores because it was close and I heard they had a good reputation. My car had a rattle sounded like the engine was going to fall out. Ken was my technician and he and the Wetmore service was absolutely incredible! They had my car for a day and a half and called me to let me know it was done and they came and picked me up. The price was more than reasonable. Service was incredible. However I had to take the car back because the noise continued. Ken told me he would take care of it no problem. He gave me a loaner as it was over the memorial holiday. Ken called me on Tuesday the car was done . I drove to Wetmore’s, s picked up my car. What a difference.. The noise was gone and I was so happy with the repair. Ken worked on it over the holiday. He did not charge me anything extra as the problem wasn’t fixed the first time. The Customer service was something that you would’ve found back in the 40s. They really strive to take care of your needs and charge you a fair price. I will continue to use Wetmores.

Had to drop in for a tire which had fallen victim to Michigan roads. Chris and team were very accommodating and the cost was not what I had feared. Came up with the most economical way for me to drive out without a donut on my car. Would definitely recommend and return (hopefully not needed any time soon, however).

Ive had to bring my car in 3 times this year for repairs and each time:1. the staff has been extremely professional and courteous.2. Theyre patient when explaining how and why the repairs were done.The last time I took my car in, the mechanic spoke to us personally and explained in detail what the issue was. This was refreshing considering other shops Ive been to have a dismissive attitude. I.e. Im the mechanic so just take my word for it. Wetmore was not like this at all. I was truly surprised by how friendly and helpful the staff were.3. At no point have I ever felt like I was being ripped off or condescended to4. Their turnaround time for repairs is always quick. They also dont take appointments which is nice because I know I can drop my car off any time theyre open and expect it back in a day or two at the most.5. Their prices are fair and they always call me after diagnosing the problem to get authorization before they begin work. So I know exactly how much Im paying going in.I would definitely recommend them.

They were not able to perform the service I needed at the time, a front end wheel alignment, due to tire wear. The tech was up front and honest, looking out for my best interest and safety. No loss, I got an oil change and inspection at a competitive rate. I will be going back. Thanks Guys!!

Got my vehicle right in and diagnosed it within an hour. Gave me information about all the repairs and what they cost before working on it. Once they had permission they did only what I asked and when there were any changes I was notified quickly. My car was done with major suspension work, a new set of tires, and an alignment in one day! As busy as they are, they were friendly and efficient.

It was my first time going to this shop today. The staff at the front desk were extremely friendly and helpful. They were very accommodating as I was in a tight situation and fixed my car within 30 minutes after estimating it would be 2 hours. Will return!

Went in for a simple tire repair and was told my car would absolutely be ready that afternoon. I never recieved a call and ended up being stranded in Ferndale. I had plans that evening and important meeting at work the next morning that I missed. No phone call, nothing to let me know they could not have the car ready when they said they would. This was not an emergency repair. If they could not have the job done that day I could have just come back.

One of my friends highly recommended Wetmores for replacing the tires on my 2009 GMC Envoy (which I love). The boss, Chris Lynch, talked me through the top two choices of tire for my make and model, found me the best prices, and a rebate as well, and they did the job while I waited. I could not be more satisfied with the service and the quality of the tires.

Wetmores is so great. I brought my car in with a suspected coolant leak. They couldnt find the specific problem so didnt charge me *anything* and even topped up my windshield washer fluid along with the coolant. They asked me to come in again if/when the warning light comes on. They could have fed me any kind of line and charged me hundreds of dollars, but they didnt. Theyve got a customer for life!

This was my first visit to Wetmores. Kenny and the whole team made me feel very special. They treated me like family When they could not fix my car that day, they provided me with a loaner until it was finished. The service I received from each individual is almost unheard of these days. My vehicle was fixed at an incredible fair price. I am completely satisfied. I will return again, if I ever have problems with my 2004 Audi A8. I highly recommend Wetmore!

I have visited Wetmores a few times for small issues. (Low tire pressure, etc.) They have always been courteous and very helpful. They have gotten me right in. Taken care of the issue and charged me a very fare fee. I plan to visit them again.

Wetmores gives honest, professional, and quality service. When my battery wouldnt start I brought it into them. They cleaned my posts, reattached the battery, and showed me how to do it myself in the future. They did not charge me. I have been coming to them ever since and they have proven over and over their prices are fair and their service is bar none. You can get quality tires installed by them for prices lower than Discount Tires and Costco. Their other repairs are comparable. And, as a woman, I always felt treated with the same respect as a man.

The young didnt check my air pressure just put air in one tire and called it a day. Had to stopped at another tire place.

I found this place from a Google search. After driving to work last night my car over heated, was making all kinds of noise and when i made it to work coolant was running from under my car... i was scared id be stranded. But i made it home. I have to say they provided me with an estimate just to take a look at the car of $45 that will be applied to your total if you decide to get work done. They are friendly (like a mom and pops place). Oh and fast.. i did have to wait a while because i got here late but ill take that hour wait to be back on the road this evening. The shop is well kept and as clean as ive seen most shops.. almost better.Will i come back to Wetmore Tire and Auto... heck yes!!! Btw my total was $100 for a new heater coil on a 2007 Pontiac G6...

For over 30 years Ive used Wetmores - wait - over 40! My parents used them too and I remember going there as a child and loving the car on the roof with the rolling tires. Talk about honest auto repairs - many times Ive been told what I dont need to fix or they fixed something for very little money or no charge so that I was shocked and delighted. Perfect quality work every time - and as I said - for over 40 years! Ok. After that long - they feel like family - but were not related. They just took the anxiety out of auto repairs for me.

Weve dealt with Wetmore many times over the years. They never disappoint. We drop off our car in the morning and its looked at within hours. Prices are always fair and I never feel uncomfortable like they are taking advantage of me!

Went here for an alignment on the advice of another mechanic. Boy did they screw it up! Took it back and they were very defensive about theyre work. Im going to have their second attempt to get it right verified by another shop and then post another review depending on the outcome.
