I recently had Barron come out to inspect what was wrong with my AC unit. Everything was great with that first appointment. The technician arrived on time and was very friendly. Once he finished he said someone would call me back within the week with an estimate and then we could schedule to have him come back to fix it. He arrived on a Monday and I never heard from anyone.I called the following Monday and they said it was already approved and that they just needed to schedule it. Its already approved? How is it approved if I havent even received the estimate? Anyway, I wanted my AC unit fix especially since its summertime and I know we are going to have more hot days. Got it scheduled 2 weeks out and on the day they were suppose to show, no one showed. I called and they said it wasnt on the schedule. I should also mention when I called to schedule this they said they need 50% down before they would schedule it. Well, I did my part, I paid. The least you could do is put me on the F@$king schedule. Now I have no AC unit and I see we are about to go through some more 90* weather. Awesome!

Jake and his crew installed a new Regency insert and removed the old insert unit. He did a great job to successfully fit the new insert into a tight space. His approach was that of an optimistic problem solver. He took the time to review the procedure for using the new insert. We are very pleased with the looks and features of the new unit, although weve yet to set a fire due to the currently warm weather. The new spark arrestor on the roof unfortunately creates a harmonic resonance when the wind blows that sounds like a fog horn. We and our neighbors (condos) look forward to a solution for this problem as soon as possible. The company has been very helpful and communicative throughout this process.

I am renting a home and the land lord refused to have this done and the Furnace is well beyond life expectancy and could be a danger for me. Two gentlemen visited my Mom in Oak Harbor and treated her so well! They were professional and polite. The jobs took them over 6 hours to complete but they wound up replacing her water heater and installed kitchen faucets, keeping her updated all along the way. She could NOT have been happier.

These guys were wonderfull, worked very hard! Did the job in one day! I had an underground incoming water leak, they worked in very hot, almost 90* weather digging and replacing old water pipes going into the house. They cut through lots of driveway cement to replace the old pipes and cleaned all up to my liking. Good job!

I needed to replace a propane hot water heater I discovered had been leaking. I contacted Barron Plumbing early in the morning, and by 4:30 in the afternoon, Dave B. and Hunter arrived with everything required for the replacement on their truck. I was very impressed with the two young men who were here. They answered my questions and explained what I needed to know as well as starting the water heater.

As part of my remodel, I thought Barron might be able to set me up with a new gas fireplace. They did that and so much more. First they helped me pick out a fireplace that both my wife and I liked. Next they came out to our house and discussed our project. The person really took the time to help us figure out where we should locate our new fireplace and how we were going to get gas to the new location without tearing into a lot of sheetrock. He patiently answered all my questions about dimensions for the wooden hearth and mantle I wanted to build. When I needed some electrical outlets moved for the new fireplace, Barrons electricians made a quick visit and got the work done in time for the fireplace to be installed. We were so impressed with the work the fireplace and electrical crew did that we had Barrons Plumbing Department handle the plumbing for our kitchen remodel. The tradesmen from Barrons did great work at an affordable price and they got the work done when promised, but the thing that I appreciated about Barrron tradesmen was this: Every single person who came to our house cared about us and our project. It was obvious that they wanted to help us make our remodel happen. They were personable and friendly. I cant say enough about how courteous, professional, and just plain friendly these folks are.

Ive been using Barron for several years now and am very happy with their performance. This year our Trane brand furnace needed a new ignitor. The tech was on time, diagnosed the issue, and did our annual service. I had Barron come out the following week to do our first ever duct cleaning. I asked the tech Chris H. to take some photos for me. The before and after shots are dramatic!

What you dont expect is that on top of all the above the people that work for Barron are genuinely friendly. And then, there is the after install service...you expect good service, what you dont expect is exemplary service; like calling you from their home on a follow up question. Repositioning a pipe for better use of space in a garage. Dropping by on their way to or from work to touch base or take care of a minor thing. I cannot say enough about how incredible Barron has been to us! Highly recommend them!

Dave, from Barron, showed up after our water heater started leaking (and also was kind enough to let us know itd gone into the wall, so we got advanced warning on needing to put in new drywall) at around 6pm and stayed until 12:20am. Yes, after midnight. Non-stop worker, even after having to partially disassemble our furnace to fit in the new water heater, and kept a great sense of humor the entire time. Barron has never failed us whenever weve needed to call them, and well likely never call anyone else but them in the future.

Weve been so pleased with the heating/cooling system Barron installed in our home two years ago that I called on them again to replace a superannuated furnace in our rental property with a new Daikin system. Jacoby, Jon D., Leo and Cody could not have been nicer or more professional or more considerate of our tenants. Ive never had anything but good experiences with Barron.

Not impressed at all. They charged $400 to replace a $18 thermostat. I will not use baron again. The manager refused to listed to reason and common sense and had no issues exploiting the general public.

I know that the service Barron Heating provides is exceptional and I appreciate their professional customer service. The Silver Shield program ensures that I keep on track for the annual maintenance. Daniel provided clear answers to my questions regarding his recommendations for the preventative repairs to the furnace.

Barron tried to soak me for over $1500 for service and parts that were unnecessary. They told me that my heat pump needed parts and some of it was installed wrong, that it may have to be rebuilt. Either their people were too ignorant to diagnose the real problem or they were too greedy and thought I would be too stupid to question their dishonesty. Sometimes you just know when someone is lying to you, even if you dont know much about their business. Aaron of Four Seasons came out and for a $150 service call fixed my problem and saved me Barrons estimate of over $1500 explaining why all their alleged service and parts were not needed. Shame on you Barron, how do you sleep at night? Call Aaron of Four Seasons, you wont be sorry.

I can’t say enough good things about the electrician who came out and fixed a blown circuit. He not only was here within an hour, but took the time to explain what happened and even gave me a great educational lesson on the circuit box! Super nice guy. Plus, right now he was extremely conscientious about maintaining a safe distance, wearing new gloves and a serious respirator, wearing shoe booties, and generally communicating with me and keeping my household safe. Thank you to the dispatcher and the electrician for helping us so quickly. Top notch!!

I wanted to install a active air purification system before my wife got back from China February 2. I called Barron’s heating and air-conditioning and the sales person that called me was Daniel McCoy. He listened to my concerns and recommended the RGF led Air purifier which is an active air purification system. Daniels communication with me before the install and during the install was excellent and I appreciate his hard work of getting this air purifier installed before my wife got home from her trip, on short notice. He was nice enough to let me watch while he installed the air purifier and then also explain to me options that I could possibly look to in the future for my old heating system. I was very happy with the service and quality of work.

We have a system installed by another company, but were unhappy with how they were handling a particular issue. I am heavily pregnant and we have a toddler, so it was very important to us to deal with this as quickly as possible. Recent Plumbing review and replacement of bathroom faucet during Covid-19 restrictions was done safely and efficiently. My daughter was a satisfied customer of Barron and recommended them when we purchased a gas fireplace five years ago. I purchased a Bullfrog Spa from Barron Heating and my experience from start to finish was outstanding. Janice White helped us in the showroom answering every question with expertise. She is a pleasure to work with and very knowledgeable about all aspects of the hot tubs. Tim was our electrician to hook up the hot tub and was very courteous, timely and communicative. Tim was easy to work with as well. The installation crew ran into a problem with placing the hot tub due to existing fencing restrictions but were able to figure out a solution and get the job done. Overall I highly recommend Barron Heating for their outstanding employees who take care of you and make you feel valued as a customer.

Joe was very thorough in the cleaning/inspection of my heating stove and heat pump, explaining everything he did. There were a few new things he did that I had not seen before but he explained those. He was a very polite young man and I would not mind him coming back next year for the service.

Our Heater went out Christmas eve morning. I was at work and my wife was out home with a 2 small boys. We called Barron and they sent someone out with in an hour and had it fixed. Just wanted to say thank you for the quick fix and exceptional customer service.

He got right to work and when finished, the fireplace (propane and my primary source of heat during the winter) was nice and clean and ready for the coming season. Install team (Jon, Brian, and Raymond) were great in all respects. Showed up on time, were gentle with our home, and left after making sure we understood the care and operation of the mini-split units they installed. Did not observe the outside work being done by electricians (Sam and Tim), but the finished job with conduit and connections certainly looks good.

Bill, Ian and Michael came today to clean and seal our ducts.They were professional ... I felt comfortable having them in my home ...... they answered all my questions ... there were some challenges ... and they did not leave until all the information was gathered ... they were terrific! Another company said my fireplace was broken and it would be cheaper to replace than fix 😭. I called Barrons to get a second opinion. Glad I did, Jeff from Barrons came out fixed it, cleaned it and made it sparkle for less than $200. Super impressed. These guys know their stuff.

Brandon came earlier than expected which was fine. He was efficient, courteous and knowledgeable. Serviced the furnace and replaced a part and it is running smoother and quieter now. I signed up for the annual service contract which gave me several discounts (present and future) and will give me peace of mind about this 18 year old furnace. I really appreciate the Silver Shield maintenance program that Barron Heating offers. I have my rental properties on the annual schedule, and several times the inspection has identified small problems which, left unattended, could turn into bigger ($$$) issues. I was really pleased with technician Brandon Demeyers service today. Brandon knew exactly what he was doing and was quick, efficient, knowledgeable and professional. Silver Shield is a great peace-of-mind program, and really beats receiving a call at 3am in February that the furnace has shut off!

Brandon is very professional and personable. He arrived on time, got right to work servicing my furnace, hot water tank and fireplace. When finished, he explained the details of the Maintenance Contract I could purchase as well as telling me that everything he serviced today was in good working order.

My furnace stopped working unexpectedly. Called the folks over at Barron, and am so glad I did. They jumped all over it for me, got me on the schedule to have it replaced within a week, and even offered to drop by some space heaters in the meantime. I arrived home just as the install team was finishing up. Brad, the lead technician gave me a quick rundown on how the install went and how the new equipment worked. Meticulous cleanup and great install. The entire experience with Barron was phenomenal.

The Barron team of Bill, Mason, and Matt did a great job on our duct work cleaning and sealing yesterday. Our 1900 home has mid-1970s vintage infrastructure so was filthy and very leaking. Barron scheduled our work, called the day before with a reminder, the team showed up when scheduled and stayed until the job was finished in a single planned day (7pm). The guys did a great job answering our questions and concerns and were flexible to deal with our daily logistical challenges. Great work!

I recently purchased my home and knew the air ducts and dryer vent badly needed to be cleaned. Ian and Dylan were professional and efficient. They introduced themselves and then got to work. They did an excellent job. Clearly explained what they had done, including a duct assessment. This followed the service of my furnace a couple of weeks ago by Jon. I highly recommend this company. Barron showed up for the annual furnace service. Right away the tech wanted to sell me a CO detector for $185. You can get them for less than $20 anywhere. Then he wanted me to replace a capacitor for over $100. Amazon sells them for less than $10 and it would have been no extra work to put the new one in. I generally felt like we got good service from Barron, but this guy didnt even clean the filters on my furnace. I cancelled my service contract and will look for a company that offers more reasonable value and isnt so predatory in their approach to customers.
