Oil change service at the dealership was good. The service personnel answered questions and helped locate our engine heater. After our vehicle sat in the garage overnight there was oil on the floor. Upon getting under the truck to check for an oil leak we discovered the bottom of the engine was full of oil. Weve been watching and checking the oil for a few days and it appears ok. Not sure why that oil wasnt cleaned up before we left the dealership, but it sure was a pain to get it off our garage floor.

My personal mechanic found $6000 in issues warranty coverd most of it. Bought as is and their willing to fix most of it free at charge. Great customer service their mechanic might not know what hes doing.

The Service department is always friendly and willing to help you with whatever needs to be done with your vehicle. At my latest visit I brought in my Jeep for 150K maintenance and after reviewing my maintenance history, it was determined that all I needed was a routine oil change and checkup (everything was fine). I appreciate how Chris went the extra mile to work with me to keep my Jeep in good working order and not spend extra dollars.

Took my 2021 Ram to the quick lube, got right in and was done very fast.

I contacted the Nelson Auto Center to see if I could order a RAM Truck to my specifications. I was told yes on that call and immediately started to work with James Boid to understand and select all vehicle options that were important to me which was very helpful since there are so many options and packages that can be selected.In the end we built an amazing new RAM 2500 Cummings Turbo Diesel Truck with everything I wanted and nothing that I didnt. Mark Morris is an excellent sales person. Always very pleasant to work with, and always seems to have all the info you need to make a good choice.Will always check with Mark first, when looking for a new or used car.The account manager is another story. He reminds me of a fast talking shyster, who makes offers and statements that he cannot keep or live up to. If he were the only financing available, I would have to look elsewhere for my next vehicle.

The work was completed in a timely fashion. When we went to pay the bill we discussed FordPass points with the clerk. She looked up our point total. This was used to pay the bill. She was very much appreciated.A different dealer indicated this had to be prearranged to the work for the FordPass to apply to any work.

We bought our new truck here and were so satisfied with the service and friendliness of everyone who worked there! Tom the GM was wonderful as was Jonathon was our sales rep who assisted us in the bitter cold test driving until we found the truck we wanted. Great service, we drove over 2 hours to get there and will do it again when we need a new vehicle!

As always, purchasing a vehicle is a long process. Nelson Ford was great. A lot of Covid precautions in place, they allowed us to test drive the vehicles I was interested in without a salesperson along. Which really does take a lot of the awkwardness out of it, as well as not having to cram us into a vehicle with someone we don’t know during these times. Johnathan, who was my initial salesman was great. Easy going, personable, and polite. I don’t remember the gentleman who helped with financing, but all around the team was great. 10/10 would recommend!

As I pulled into the service area, I was in for an oil change, the service attendant was opening the overhead door for me to pull in. Before I could shut down the engine, he was at my door and ready to serve. He invited me into the waiting room and in very short order, my service was complete and he came out to find me. Very good service and there are no doubts about where I will go next time!

Went in for an oil change on a Saturday with their fast lube express. It took an hour and 20 minutes once my truck was inside. I know they give it a good look over . But I thought that was way to long.

I used Nelson Ford’s drive-up quick lube service. All of the Nelson employees I encountered were kind, professional and courteous. In this particular case, I had need to follow up with a couple of technical questions. The service manager, Lisa, was very helpful. She didn’t have immediate answers, but noted all my concerns, took down my number and promised a call back with answers. I was thinking it would be the next day or so before I would hear back, but 30 minutes later Lisa called with answers to all my questions. Great customer service! Thank you!

Be prepared to wait a long time for an oil change. We had used the Quick Lane previously, and waited almost two hours to get in (is that the definition of quick?) So this time I made an online appointment. Received two confirmation emails that my appointment had been scheduled. When I arrived, the service advisor said they had no record of that appointment. Luckily, we were able to get in right away and only waited around 45 minutes for the service. Im not sure what the best way to handle these appointments would be, since weve tried a few and had these experiences. I will continue to make an appointment, perhaps calling the dealership would be best.

Nelson Ford was great to deal with. I test drove a truck on a Saturday. During the test drive the check engine light came on. I had to wait until the following Monday before one of their mechanics could look at the vehicle. They determined a new catalytic converter was needed. They installed a new one on the vehicle and delivered the truck to me in Fargo. My sales specialist was Candy Olson. She did a great job during this purchase. If you are looking for a new or used vehicle I would highly recommend stopping by Nelson and speaking with Candy.

Very friendly business, this is a large dealership but they have a small town vibe that makes you feel welcome. I feel I received a better deal on my truck here, they were nice to deal with. I had some recalls that I had taken care of in their service department recently too, was met with a courteous service writer who listened to all my concerns and the service was completed in the time promised. I waited 2 hours in the waiting area (I live 60 miles from there so I waited), very nice and comfortable area set up for customers, coffee and cookies, etc for all. While waiting I noticed the reception lady interacting with people and talking on the phone and she seemed to make everyone feel right at home, it looked like her co-workers had much respect for her too. While waiting another one of their people came and sat down and talked to me about my visit, talked like we were old friends . I highly recommend this dealer, dont buy before you talk to them, youll be glad you did, I am.

Nelson Auto has been performing maintenance on our 2004 Mercury over the years. This car has traveled almost 300,000 miles. We get 24 miles to the gallon on a V8 engine on a car thats heavier and sturdier than any sedan on the market today in my opinion. And, plenty of room for my long legs and comfortable for traveling long distances. Regular oil changes and taking care of issues when they come up has proved valuable to us. At this point, I am only giving the dealership two stars because working with Jonathan was great otherwise I am less than impressed with Nelsons. Within two hours of having my Tahoe off the lot, a service light for the trailer break system came on and a diagnostic scan for trouble codes the next day showed 6 unresolved trouble codes. Within a week of owning my Tahoe I had already put close to $1,000 into it to fix things that should have been taken care of before the vehicle was listed for sale. Having bought a previous vehicle from Nelsons with a great overall experience I am extremely disappointed in the service department and management team this go around. I will not return nor recommend Nelsons to anyone to work with.

We just recently purchased our 2nd vehicle from Nelson Auto Center and we love working with them. They answer all our questions and concerns. Tried for weeks to schedule an appointment that would include a tire rotation. That would also fit into my schedule. Impossible, a week or more to schedule any kind of appointment like that. So all I could do was have the oil changed and the fuel filters for the low low price of $308. You would think there would be a little bit better customer service after buying the truck new a little over a year ago. Dont think Ill be back!

I was back to MN visiting family for the Christmas Holiday and Bob Walton was amazing in getting my jeep in for repairs!! I was having issues with my 2015 Jeep on the 10 hour trip and he was able to get me into the shop immediately to run and fix the software issues. I was traveling with my daughter and 2 young children so having a Jeep that keep breaking down during the trip was not only dangerous but not fun at all! Chris (Mechanic) was super in getting me in fast after speaking with Bob and the problems I was having. The problem was fixed and the trip back to SD was great ! I dont have enough words to express how awesome the customer service was at Nelson. A HUGE thanks for a safe trip back!!Keep up the great work!!

Bought a used 2018 pickup on11/14/20 picked it up on the 19 a couple days later I noticed only one out of four taillight bulbs worked took it in on 11/29/20 to have it looked at they told me it needed a new harness and a new lens it would take a couple days to get parts so now it had no taillights a week later I called them and the parts weren’t in yet it would be a couple days .A couple days later some of the parts came in so I had to take another afternoon off from work to take it in to get the lights fixed and now it’s January 22 and I still don’t have the new lens.Always had heard good things about them but I don’t think I will go back there .Sales department seems good not sure about the service department

It took several trips to solve the problem, but in the end I am very satisfied with the results

Had to replace shield on bottom of 2019 Chrysler Pacifica. It took 2 weeks to get parts and a time scheduled. However work was completed in 1.5 hours. Less time than it takes to get our oil changed at Nelsons Auto.
