Does anyone know what happened to this company in the last year? Ive since moved out of state and cant reach them. They did my taxes for 9 years between 2010-2018, and all seemed well. However, I have started receiving IRS letters, and the Goldsmith offices have stopped responding to my emails and now the phone number no longer works. I am dealing with the IRS on audit issues from 2017 and 2018, and Im starting to think that Goldsmith is the reason why. I do not recommend them, and after attempting to reach them, Im having to file formal complaints on them as a tax preparer, as its a very serious issue.

I went for guidance on my taxes and This place was amazing! Everyone was welcoming, as soon as I walked in the door I was welcomed and instantly treated like family. Offered snacks, a warm welcoming! Very clean and well well managed place! Glenn, who helped with my taxes was very humble and kind along with his wife!! He was informative and funny at the same time! Also straight to the point. Didnt care about the money he cared about truly helping us! We went in very overwhelmed and left reliefed to know someone genuinely cared for us and our needs. I would recommend this place 100%++THANK YOU FOR HELPING US!

It was interesting learning about how the taxes are filed. Being international teacher whose country is under special treaty with the USA it is finally a relief to find a company that knows how what do, coupled with that they were able to explain in details and references to the publication and articles according to the tax law. This was very informative. Calling all J-1 visa holder (teacher and professor).

This was my first time using Goldsmith & Goldsmith. I have to say I was very happy with them and their knowledge. They were very easy to work with.

I have been doing my taxes with this company ( formerly B-At-Ease Services) for at least 2 decades, however, this will be my last year. I’m not sure what happened to the former management, but you can definitely tell there has been personnel changes( NOT for the better). I am retired military, 1. I turned in my taxes paperwork (in March 2019) and they asked me to wait for my tax return to be processed because the lady that had been working on my taxes was no longer working with them. 2. Then, the next time I call, they new lady working on my taxes, tells me she wants her supervisor to look over my taxes. 3 Then the next call, ( in May 2019) they asked ME to call Dfas because they did not understand why my state return was more than my federal. I’m like, “What”?? Personally, I don’t care if I get a tax refund or not, but I do expect for YOU to have a level of experience to process my taxes and not ask me tax questions. Ohhh, I was just informed today (June 2019), that I would have to pay $200+ dollars upfront for my taxes because I was ONLY receiving a “state” refund...thanks BUT NO THANKS!

Not only did it take a very long time to get my taxes done, but they were done incorrectly!! The state caught the error which was made two years in a row and we had to pay late fees. The owner never took the time to speak with me. The person that spoke with me was not knowledgeable at all. THIS IS NOT A GOOD PLACE TO GET YOUR TAXES DONE!!!
