I have been renter with ECG since 2015. They provide quality customer service. They take care of their renters, as much as the their homeowners. All these years I can tell theyre proud of the work they do because theyre always giving their best. We are in our second rental home with ECG and I feel my family is in good hands with ECG. I highly recommend ECG to anyone interested looking for a rental because theyre an honest, hard-working team.

SPM is great. They were helpful and professional. If something needed to be fixed they were out in a hurry to make it happen. They are respectful of your time and were fair with our deposit. I would highly recommend SPM to anyone who could use them. Military friendly also. Thank you Brandy and others from SPM.

Our experience with SPM Property Management over the last 4 years has been amazing. Brandy and Desiree are always responsive and courteous. Anytime there was a maintenance issue, they responded in a timely manner and helped trouble shoot any issues I had. The move in and move out process has been smooth and stress free. I would refer all of my friends and family to SPM and if and when I am a property owner, I will call Brandy and Desiree to manage my property.

We rented a house through SPM for 2 years. Weve only had positive experiences with them. Our A/C needed repaired three times. SPM had a repairman at the house within hours of each of our service orders. They made renting a very easy process. I would definitely recommend SPM to anyone.

Brandy and Desiree managed my property for over 5 years. They were always very responsive, quickly addressed any service requests, provided thorough walk throughs and periodic inspections (with hundreds of pictures), and were always quick to ensure my property stayed leased. I’m selling my home, and Brandy was great ensuring my home was ready for market.

Place was not move in ready. Down right disgusting and everything falling apart or loose. Damaged floors and carpet. Stains and mildew everywhere.And Desiree is extremely difficult to deal with. Asking her to do her job is an insult to her and she will lash out and treat you like youre very far beneath her.The other associate, Brandy. Was helpful and did manage to fix some items. But no where near completed or move-in ready.Last thing, dont ask for proof of anything they did, they will take offense again and just keep repeating it was done.Someone who does a particular service does not make them professional, it can be just a person who provides that service. Need to learn the difference.

We had a good experience renting from this company! Lived at the property for two and a half years. Had a couple maintenance requests that were fulfilled in a timely manner. Brandy and Desiree were very nice! Just had our inspection done for move out and we didn’t get charged for anything! Only moved out because we ended up buying a house. If we wouldn’t have bought a house we would’ve definitely continued staying at the property. ☺️

The original team at the Fayetteville location was not the best to say the least, now however that Brandy and Desiree are there things get done in a timely fashion, communication is way more professional and they actually care about the tenants. At first I would have given them 1 star now with their new team 5 stars all day, thank you ladies for taking care of us while we were in our house and during our transition out!

This company is a disgrace and very unethical. I rented 334 Ayrshire court and hired a professional inspector before I moved out. The inspector found toxic mold all over the townhome. In the vents, air conditioning system, walls, and underneath the house. I was really sick the whole time living there. I made them aware of the mold issue and instead of doing the right thing by repairing the home, they rented it out instead. They also took all of my deposit for bogus claims. They are only concerned about $$$. I had to have surgery to remove my gallbladder. I was too sick to fight them but I hope everyone who sees this will rent elsewhere.

This rental company goes through property managers like underwear. We occupied one of their properties for three years . The house and price were good but the managers Were HORRIBLE! We would have to submit maintenance requests several times and call several times just to get someone out to the property, and even then it would take weeks before they would fix it . We notified BRANDY three separate times that we had PCS orders to move and that we would be moving out at the end of July . We had the house cleaned including the carpets professionally cleaned, power and water out of our name, keys turned in, and copies of our PCS orders. When we received a VERY UNPROFESSIONAL phone call from BRANDY stating we were in violation of our lease. We sent in an email with all of the emails, text messages, and phone calls between us and BRANDY proving we told her several times we were ending the lease and that we never received the move out packet that she claimed she sent . When confronted about not sending the emails she got mad and hung up the phone . Yes, that’s the professional way to handle that situation. When our email with all the attachments were sent to her she responded with I have received your email and I’m the one in charge of your property and I’ll get back with you at the end of the week. ALL of the UNNECESSARY DRAMA could have been avoided by her owning up to not sending the required emails on time. Before renting from this company I suggest READ ALL THE REVIEWS the 5 star reviews are a lie they are there to cover up ALL the 1 star views. Make copies of EVERYTHING, TAKE PICTURES OF EVERYTHING THEY WILL CHARGE YOU FOR THINGS THAT WERE THERE BEFORE YOU MOVED IN AND LIE AND SAY YOU DID IT (EVEN WHEN ITS ON YOUR MOVE IN INSPECTION!), keep record of ANY AND ALL TIMES you have had contact with them. If your on the phone with them make sure you have it on speaker and a witness to the conversation. ABOVE ALL DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY ESPECIALLY IF YOUR MILITARY.

We rented our rental home for nearly two years, in that time the team was professional, responsive and very understanding to our concerns and maintenence request. Brandy was by far the best of all the previous realtors we have worked with. She went out of her way numerous times to ensure our family was comfortable in our home before and after our PCS. The are very good with military. I personally recommend this company.

I wouldnt give a star, but had no choice. This property management is a waste of your money. Stay far away. They do not care about tenants at all. As long as they get the rent, they could care less about anything else that is going on with the property. When we were supposed to move into a house, the agent was out of town. Nobody informed us, when we went to go pick up the keys, thats when we were told we couldnt move in that day. Nobody did a walk through with us, we had to do that on our own, and the rental wasnt even clean or ready for us to move in. We had to clean before we could even move into the place. No maintenance will get done. If you put in a request, they will just cancel it and say its not important. The refrigerator went out in our rental, and it was like pulling teeth to have it replaced. We had maintenance come out, and they said that the ducts needed to be cleaned. Needless to say, that was never done, so that made the dryer not work. The maintenance guy that came out told them exactly what the problem was, and they flat out refused to fix it. When you flush the toilets, they dont actually flush, and everything comes back up in the inside. Septic problem....all things that are beyond my control as a tenant. The people here are very unprofessional and rude. They will try to belittle you, and treat you as if youre dumb. Do yourself a favor, and go elsewhere.

I have had a lot of issues with my house because of the type of tenants the previous staff was allowing to rent.But Desiree and Brandy changed all of that. They really do care about their owners and their properties. They are very professional and very responsive to my issues and concerns. They keep me informed on anything and everything that has to do with my house and they made sure that the tenant that is moving into my house is the right tenant for my house. I have been extremely happy since they took over the company and have had no issues or complaints.Great job ladies and thank you!!

Strother Property Management was probably one of the best companies that I have worked with for rentals. Specifically Brandy and Desiree, they helped my family and I with every question and concern that we had. We didnt have to jump through hoops or wait days on end. Brandy and Desiree answered every e-mail, text, and phone call that we every had (we had a lot) and did so quickly with excellent results. I couldnt be happier with my experience, Brandy and Desiree made everything easy and worth while! If you need a rental, ask for these two!

This property management service is not worth the hassle. We read the bad reviews and thought that they were possibly wrong, but they turned out to be true. We were also warned by numerous maintenance people that Strother was very unprofessional. We didnt truly realize the warnings until it was too late.They will also take your deposit. Theres things that you will miss when cleaning a big house so we cant claim to be perfect. I was okay with them charging us for that. Some of the things they will charge you for are obviously fraudulent and I would call them out but its really not worth my time knowing how they operate.Only reason I am wasting my time here is so hopefully this helps someone else out.Thanks,Anthony J.

Please dont rent from this company. The worst decision I have ever made. I wouldnt even give them one star. The company will charge you for damages to the property that were all ready damaged when you moved in. They will also charge you for services that werent done when you moved in but expect them to be done when you move out. They will charge you for anything possible to ensure that you dont receive your deposit. The company is poorly managed by their unprofessional property managers that change frequently. Please dont rent from this company.

We inquired about the first house for rent and the lady that answered the phone said she would have someone call us back. No one bothered to call back and when we called the following day, they “just rented it out, it’s unavailable.” Ok. Fast forward to today, I call to inquire about another house. The lady says,”Yeah what about it?” Well, I wanted to know if we could see it or put in an application. “Well it’s not available until December so no you can’t see it. If you want to apply, you need to go online to our website and do that.” Ok, great I’ll do that. “ Yeah, good luck,” and hangs up on me. I will be looking for a rental through another company. If you hate your job or people that bad, you need to find a new one.

First Ill say the only one worth anything at this company is Lena. She was respectful and listened to what I had to say and tried to resolve the only issue brought to her attention.I only gave them 1 star so I could leave a comment. DO NOT use this company. They let tenants destroy your home, Orbie is one of the property managers and she is WORTHLESS. she is rude and disrespectful to the homeowners. Our tenant KICKED IN our back french doors and the door is a security risk now because its compromised he added a FAN PAD LOCK to the inside to use as a lock on it yet she said the inspection looked good!!!The never call you and tell you when they switch your property manager, they didnt do the 3 month inspections that they say they will do. I managed my home from 1100 miles away over the last 3 years more then they did we basically threw away $100 a Month paying that company for NOTHING. Orbie said the floors looked fine after the carpet cleaning but my sub floors are RUINED, and his animals chewed EVERY CORNER in my home. Anywhere the walls came to a corner are chewed.AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL!!!!!!!!!if they dont make the tenant pay for a new door with his security we will see BOTH the tenant AND Strother property management in court ASAP

Hands down the best property management Ive ever had the privilege of working with. I am especially grateful for Larry, Desiree, Brandy, and for Iris who was very helpful and professional on the phone. I have been involved in 6 military moves, both OCONUS and Stateside. This particular move from Texas to NC has been the smoothest move I have ever experienced. Desiree and Brandy made sure the process of getting everything squared away for us to rent one of their properties was easy, quick, accommodating and pleasant. Due to Covid-19 and a flood of military personnel PCSing at once we would have had to wait 4-6 weeks until we got our household goods, because of conflicting schedules. However, Larry went out of his way to meet us early in the morning to do the inspection process, and hand over the keys to the property in order for us to get our household goods that same day! I highly recommend Strother Property Management for those of you looking to rent in Fayetteville. You guys have been the most helpful to us during a highly stressful time for all military members and their families. Thank you guys for making this move one we will never forget.

We’ve had nothing but exceptional, responsive service from Brandy of Strother Property Management. After recently moving into our new home, we encountered a few issues that needed to be addressed. Brandy was wonderful — she was kind, professional and communicated with us promptly. Within a few hours of contacting her for both issues, she had already scheduled service for us and e-mailed to let us know. As an aside, even with Strother’s hours being reduced as a result of the pandemic, Brandy was working and responding well after her stated working times. We appreciate her work ethic and her willingness to go above and beyond!

Brandy was totally dedicated to ensuring that our renting experience was pleasant. She went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable.

The rental experience was average, but when moving out we were told we’d be given the feedback before being charged, being given the opportunity to correct anything necessary. Low and behold this was not the case. We were charged to clean a very few dog hairs out of the freezer, and the owner was also charged to have the rental cleaned. The house was left extremely clean with respect for the owner, who was kind and worked with us. Sad to have this experience, and sad the owner was charged for no reason.

My experience with Strother Property and Brandy was really good, I was esceptical after reading some reviews here but my recent experience was 10/10. During the year I was living the house they installed a new A/C, a water heater, replace the fence.. anything I asked for. The house was in a good neighborhood for a price that cant be beat. I clean the house and do everything in the moving out inspection list and I received my full deposit, yes, full deposit back in a check they send to me to NJ in less than 2 weeks! I was really surprised cause this never happened to me before with other companies. That was my experience and Im not a review kind of person, but felt they deserve it. Brandy is absolutely wonderful. She went above and beyond for me. She did not only show me houses via video call, she drove around the neighborhoods to show me the areas. She is a genuine person. She worked with me for days until I found the house I wanted. She made my move from Colorado easier. I have been living in my house for 5 months. I have contacted Brandy to ask her questions many times and she has always gotten back to me immediately.

Brandi and Cindy are wonderful people and great to work with. From the first time we talked and met, everything has been first class and professional. They set up a schedule and showed us many properties in order to find something in a short time frame. When there have been issues, they are addressed quickly and resolved. Brandy and Cindy were both great to work with. Signing for the house was quick and fairly painless. Brandy was helpful and available with a quick text. The only reason for 4/5 stars is due to some paperwork issues. The program that they used was slightly problematic but was thankfully saved on the online portal. So far...have had a great experience with them!

I cannot recommend working with Brandy and Desiree from the Sanford office enough! We rented from them for a year and it was such a wonderful experience - any issues, questions, requests, etc. were handled by them promptly and they were so accommodating. They are so professional and just wonderful people! If we didn’t buy a house, we’d keep renting from them indefinitely!

Great rental company - Desiree, Malik, and Brandy are so helpful with any issues or questions i have with my rental.Communication is perfect when i need to reach someone.I highly recommend them - especially when you are moving from out of town! I feel ignored, neglected and disrespected. Wouldn’t recommend any owner to allow them to manage your property, and wouldn’t recommend any renter to waste their time of day on this company’s properties. Even if the property is great, remember you have 12 months with this company 1) keeping you from speaking to owners directly 2) ignoring maintenance requests 3) allowing vendors (Plummer’s/ ac & heat repairmen) to do the bare minimum. I honestly feel sorry for the owners of my rental property than myself. They allowed a leak in my home to run for a month and a half. Three phone calls, one online maintenance request and no word. Until I get a call about an inspection. The guy had no clue about the leak. That’s just ridiculous. Not to mention the property management neglecting the fact that I had to pay for that water pump In my well running for a month and a half, 24 hours straight. This pump is supposed to turn on as-needed, any warranty this owner has on their pump is no doubt VOID because something like this was ignored . Whoever owns this house should know that their water pump has probably been through the ringer and needs to be replaced way sooner than it should and that’s due to neglect. They should get reimbursed for their water pump if it goes out and I should be reimbursed for the electric it used. I gave my new property manager Richard a chance to make this right because he had no idea and he promised me he’d come out and fix at least that leak before the inspection- that didn’t happen so I was disappointed yet again. This is just my issue now. I haven’t even mentioned the fact that they didn’t tell me my heat is gas powered until I’m freezing at home w/ my toddler. I signed a sheet in my lease that specifically states gas is used for appliances and fire place. Heating the house is a whole other ball field and a whole other bill someone should prepare themselves for. I did my due diligence on finding this place, paying on time, reporting issues right away. They aren’t doing their due diligence for any of my issues and that to me is just blatant disrespect for my household.

These people are awesome. Very understanding and caring down to earth good ol fashion people. Very prompt with fixing issues with property and very helpful in the time of a dilemma. You kind of feel at home in their office. They make you just want to sit down and talk to them for a few moments. They actually care how their company is perceived by who they serve which is the most important thing in a customer service atmosphere and they go the extra mile to make sure you’re taken care of. Lena Hutton is amazing. She keeps me updated on everything that goes on with my property. She makes sure everything is the way it should be and I feel completely safe with my property under her watchful eyes. I feel disrespected. They have awful customer service. I was trying to inquire about a rental they have listed on multiple websites THAT IS STILL UP AS AVAILABLE, and they sent me an extremely short and rude email stating “it has been rented.” And when I replied back letting them know it’s still up as available on multiple sites they replied “and it has been rented.” Instead of being rude to me why could you not offer one of the other properties you have listed or even sent a NICER email to me or even called me to let me know in a kind way. This is not how you treat people who are trying to go through your business to find a home. Awful.

I had nothing but a great experience working with Brandy. She found me a great property on a short notice and helped every step of the way. Upon moving in everything was in order and clean, definitely went above and beyond. Very personable and responsive! Great service over all.

Unfortunately, I trusted Strother ERA real estate company. And ended up with a realtor who was a con artist and a major liar. Extremely deceptive with me for my long-distance purchase of a home. I wrote a review right after the incident on Strother’s website, and no one from Strother followed up with me to find out what happened. I definitely wouldn’t trust this Company with anything of value. They should go into the business of picking up dog Doo in peoples yards, that would be better suited for them. Incompetent deceitful Strother staff cost me thousands of dollars in losses.

Brandy is amazing, I was In need of a place asap. She showed me several properties and stayed after hours to do so. She answered all my concerns. I can text her and she still responds promptly even with her busy day. The day I wanted to move in I couldnt due to my banking issues she kindly extended my move in day. I had no issues with calling the office everyone is nice. Everything is easy and convenient to pay or get maintenance.

Brandi is who I usually deal with, she is awesome. I have been with the company for a while, the new team is awesome. I appreciate the follow up and professionalism. I have lived out of country most of the time and it’s nice not to have to worry about my house! I recommend them to anyone that ask!

Whenever a situation or issue occurred they both resolved it in a timely manner. I had several property managers prior but to have the professionalism, courtesy, care and genuine concern for both the owner and tenant that these two displayed is beyond excellent. During my move-out transition Brandy went above and beyond to ensure that I understood what the expectations were and conducted a thorough inspection to satisfy the company, owner and myself. These people are a joke! If you have a home that you need to rent or you need to rent a home do not use them! My family and I were looking at renting when we first moved to bragg. They had a listing that I was interested in. We put in an application. They called us back a week later saying we werent approved (which baffled us). They wouldnt answer why. Did they like another applicant better? About a week goes by they call to let us know we were approved for the house. At this point Im done! I couldnt imagine playing this game with them for the next 3 years. And I felt bad for the owners who needed to rent their property out. So please dont waste your money or your time find a respectable company who cares about their renters and owners.

There was a bit of an issue when my old tenant was vacating my property. I spoke with Mrs. Lena Hutton and she bent over backwards to ensure my issues were handled and was able to bring in new tenants within the first few weeks of my previous tenants lease being complete. Her professionalism and work ethic brought a deep sigh of relief in my belief that Strother Property Management can efficiently handle my property while Im all over the country working. Having her employed is a great asset to the company.

Its been difficult to keep track of everything being stationed overseas, but they managed to keep me informed as well as ensure that I had minimum gap between tenants. Do not use/rent/buy from Strother Properties in Fayetteville.They informed us on March 1st that our property had changed ownership. Given that two of my co-workers are very responsible, they paid rent early, which meant it was paid to the previous owners. They both provided paperwork to prove this. Despite this, at least one of them has been given an eviction notice because they failed to pay rent.Then, even though they have a online portal through which we are supposed to be able to do various things, like pay rent, I was not able to pay online. Instead I had to go into their office.Now my water is cut off (something the property is in charge of, not me).My next door neighbor is without water as well.13 hours later...my water is back on, so thats much appreciated. Well see if they fix the situation with my co-workers late rent.And now they turned it back off again. Todays my day off because Im working the weekend but I cant wash my dinner and breakfast dishes, cant wash my clothes, etc. Im very frustrated.

Worked with them after recently moving into the area. Staff was very accommodating to my work schedule and scheduled showings, even after business hours. Their online portal has a simple interface, is mobile device compatible, and can be used for payments, information, and scheduling work orders seamlessly for maintenance purposes. The staff is curteous and very easy to work with. I would highly recommend them for anyone looking for a solid property management company.

I had a great experience working with Brandy. She was the Best all the way around. The Staff was always friendly, even went out of their way on the 4th of July weekend and had someone meet my wife in another town and gave her a key to our house since we lock ourselves out. They even came back to the house and got the key later that day and didn’t make us bring it back to their office ourselves. That’s was just great to me and my Family.

Worst property managers ever. They dont care about maintenance issues, all they do is collect rent and ignore the tenant when the person needs anything fixed. They will give you run arounds forever but nothing will ever get done. Issues linger for years without being taken care of. One of the staff called Lexi Britt will tell you that nothing can be done for you because the landlord doesnt want to get anything fixed. It has been one nightmare after the other living in their property. Please dont be deceived into having anything to do with this company.

I apply for a three bedroom unit with two baths after about two days I received a call from Brandy to meet with her to view one of their properties. After meeting with her and doing a walk-through of the property I decided to take the rental, Brandy customer service was extremely professional and very outgoing she was also able to show me areas that I could shop that was near the rental to keep me from driving so far out. She is such a great asset for this company and if I had to do it all over again I would request Brandy !!!! DO NOT rent/buy from this property management. I did not even want to give them one star but I had to in order to post this review. They are VERY unprofessional! I am pregnant and have 3 small children, our home has been without heat for 4 days before they sent someone to come out and repair the issue during the coldest month -January making it 50 degrees INSIDE of our home. Also, while being without heat, come to find out, theres a wiring issue throughout the ENTIRE house. We bought space heaters and our breakers constantly trip all day long AND one outlet even caught fire the second day we were without heat making us terrified that a fire may start. They have known of our situation, as we have made multiple phone calls and spoke to staff regarding our concerns and they were very rude, not apologizing for the delay, didnt even sound a bit concerned about our situation. Im sure if they had to sit in a 50 degree home for 4 days they would feel the same as I do and probably have someone out that same day to fix it! As Im typing this my hands are ice cold! I feel horrible that my kids have had to sit in such a cold house for the past few days but we literally have nowhere else to go. I am furious! Please, do not do business with this company!

I have had a truly positive experience with Strother Property Management. Brandy and their team have been extremely helpful and successfully found me the home that I desired. I will definitely use them and refer them to anyone in search of a home or management group.

Mrs Kenan is an outstanding lady. I have called a couple time about issues for my sons house while he is over seas and never get his property manager always a message to text and no reply back. I called for a supervisor she (Kenan)has been by far so much help.

In my dealings with Lena Hutton, she has consistently delivered superior customer service. Lena was always responsive, followed up on pressing issues, always kept me informed, provided excellent advice and she made sure my issues were being dealt with expediently. Hands down one of the most knowledgeable real estate professionals that Ive ever dealt with.

Brandi made our move in appt go very smooth and hassle free. When we thought there was an issue she acted quickly to resolve it. The people we have met that work with this company are also very friendly and efficient.

As a renter, I didnt have too many problems with them besides one. My bank account was locked out one time in like 2 years, in which I got the payment to them in like a day or two. The end result was having to go up there every month for like the next year and a half. I get it though. Just didnt like it.As far as fixes that occured living in a house. You know how that goes. Those things take time regardless, so they werent too bad.Now from the owner side, maybe it was because they could tell I was a neat freak. They only checked the house one time in two years. I dont know about that one.

We just recently put up our first home for rent and I was honestly a little stressed about the process. However, Brandy and Cindy out of the Sanford office have made everything so easy and stress free for us! They have both been VERY helpful, friendly, and easy to get a hold of if we had any questions. Just 4 days after Brandy listed our house for rent, we had renters sign a 2 year lease, and we couldnt have been more pleased with our experience through the whole process! I feel totally confident and at ease with SPM managing our rental while were gone and would definitely recommend SPM to anyone looking to rent their home!

Brandy and Cindy have got their Sh*t together. I was super stressed about renting and they assured me things would be taken care of. They have been great so far. They got me a premium price for rent, and had my house rented in less than 48 hrs from initial listing. I was a Restoration Project Estimator for 2 years in the Fayetteville market and I had seen my fair share of horrible property managers. Strother sits well above the competition.

If it was possible to leave zero stars I would. The attitude of everyone I talk to is horrible. I had to speak to a lawyer because they were trying to make me pay for something that wasnt my responsibility. Thank God I had access to one I didnt have to pay for.I gave them a checklist upon move-in of issues I have had. Theres about 12 items on the list. 3 of them have been dealt with in two months, and that was after bugging my property manager over and over and her telling me that I didnt mention some of the issues. I spoke with other people renting from them and a homeowner and it seems like a recurring issue with them. I will not recommend this company to anyone. If you want a ridiculously high stress level and like to be taken advantage of, then go for this place! Otherwise, dont go anywhere near them, as a renter or a homeowner.

So far I’m very impressed with Strother Property Management. I called about a rental property and was called back within the hour. Within twenty minutes of that we were doing a walkthrough of the home on FaceTime. We walked through the home several times so I could ask questions and make sure it was the home for us. Brandy and Cindy were extremely nice, fun, patient, and efficient. Thanks girls for all your help in helping us find our next home. We look forward to working with you.

I wanted to list my home for rent and knew nothing about how to do it but after calling Strother Property Management they walked me thru everything that needed to be done. However I didn’t really do anything because they took care of it all. After less than a week I had a renter lined up and ready for the first of the month. Big thanks to Brandy and Cindy in the Sanford office for all their help. They are super awesome and help our in every way they can. Highly recommend going with SPM if you want to rent out your home or need a home to rent.

I absolutely love this company. They are very friendly and have helped me and my family have a smooth transition from another state. I highly recommend this company.

This company did the absolute bare minimum of managing my rental. After using their in house contractor for flood repairs, no one supervised or checked. They swapped some cheap laminate and now I’m just out the investment to my house. Strothers has pointed out they do not believe they’re liable. They do not use that contractor any more, making it even harder to resolve.

If I could give zero stars I would. They are very unorganized, do not communicate well and do not meet exceptional customer service. Weve had issues from them since the beginning. One issue was they had gave us the green light to move into the home but did not communicate with the owner. So when we got there the owners stuff was still in the home we tried contacting the manager multiple times. After a full day we finally heard back with the statement that the owners would come get their stuff. Once the owners arrived he had informed us that he was never contacted and told we were moving in when we did. After the stuff was taken out the manager never came by to do a home walk through to see any issues, so we had to annotate on our own for damages prior to move in. Also they had a website mistake causing the rent to come out of the wrong account ( account we used for deposit) when the money came out the wrong account it came back on their end that there wasnt enough funds so they cut off our online portal and charged us a fee. When we tried contacting them about it we only got rude responses or no response. After many days we finally got in contact and all they said was we have a policy you had a return amount so for a year you will have to bring in certified funds for payment ( which cost us extra) and they said there was nothing they would do to help because its policy. When we all know they have the ability to help out. We had made 3 payments before this that they received with correct funds but due to one time return they will lock your online payments for a year. So Id advise do not go with this place.

They should get a 0 what the hell is this company doing other than taking our money. My house was a mess I had to take it from here they change staff so much and the supervisor Kenan doesnt return calls most of the time and never answers when you call. They do nothing but run you around. The owner of this company or who ever in charge should do something or maybe they are part of the fiasco.

You deserve zero stars.Update: half an hour after my appointment, Brandy sent me a message, “The property rented this morning I sent text messages to all of the afternoon appointments”Wow, thank you for informing me, Brandy, that you have the courtesy to inform all the afternoon appointments, but NOT THE MORNING APPOINTMENTS. What an absolute joke.After reading all of the terrible reviews, I believe I have been spared a nightmare.

I just completed 3 (2015-2018) years working with Strother as a property owner in the Spring Lake/Anderson Creek area. I was aware of some of the poor reviews they had received but was impressed enough by the personal visit and property inspection and appraisal they did to give them my business. To be honest, there were a few speed bumps along the way in the first few months in 2015, but over the last year I have seen a huge improvement in their service to me as the homeowner and I understand the tenants were pleased as well. When I returned back to the property this year to live here again I was stunned to find absolutely zero issues with the property - it was cared for immaculately and their final inspection and cleaning was very thorough. In particular, I have to mention that Brandy, and the team in their Spring Lake location were extremely responsive and helpful. This business has made huge improvements in the past few years and I would certainly recommend them now to anyone looking for a property manager or looking to rent a home in the fayetteville area.
