I love this place. Everyone is serious about their fitness here. There is an old school gym atmosphere that you just dont get anywhere else either. Come here if you are someone wanting to stay fit and/or get fit. Be ready to work.

Atmosphere is great. Bumper plates, weightlifting platform, rogue bars, chalk, squat racks, reverse hyper, sauna, showers, lockers, concept 2 row machines (older model but still well maintained), stair masters, treadmills, plenty of dumbbells, benches, wish there were more kettlebells (1-40lb, 4-30lb, 2-20lb). 🐸

I spent 2 1/2 months at Ft. Bragg and used the gym almost every day.Fantastic gym, with most every machine and weight set you can imagine.Good cardio as well.Very friendly owners and atmosphere in among the members of World Gym

Was a part of this gym for going on three years. Honestly, I didnt go much. BUT the 15 times I did go in the span of three years, I can say the environment is really motivating from the music to the members and staff. The members here are very motivated and fit and I thought I would feel uncomfortable, as I really belong in a Planet Fitness, but I did not. It’s a good place for every one. Pre COVID they had free classes and those were super cool for people like me! The only bad thing I have to say is that, we didn’t get a complimentary t-shirt for joining. Now we’ve moved back home to Indianapolis and nobody even knows I was a part of World Gym back in the day lol.

This place has turned into my last bastion of freedom among the mask-up hellscape that our world has turned into. I would much rather pay them for my membership than deal with the non sense of trying to work out on post for free.

Well Ive only been working out here for a couple months, but I love it. It has a lot of qualities that I love in a gym. I will lay out all the details and let you decide for yourself:This place has a grungey and raw atmosphere, which I love. I cant stand fru-fru gyms. This place has literally everything you need to workout, unless you do crossfit. I think they are planning on upgrading to appeal to the functional fitness crowd, but right now, not so much.They have leg stuff grouped together with 3 squat racks, 3-4 leg press, 2 deadlift platforms, and a smith machine.The upper body area is packed full of incline, decline and regular bench. I have never had to wait on a bench.They only have two cable sets, and they arent adjustable. Its either all the way up, or all the way down.There there are a plethora of machines to suit your needs, there is a body pump barre-style room for all your calisthenics, as well as a room dedicated to MMA(couple of heavy bags, speed bag).Also, they offer tanning and a spot for kids to play while you lift.This is my favorite off-post gym, and Ive looked around. They seem to always be improving, and theyre right smack in the middle of town.4 stars because of how awesome they are, but NOT 5 stars because a 5 star gym would have 24/7 access.

Absolutely awesome gym!!! Owner is a very cool dude. Helped me out with the payments as far as getting started there! Its a dungeon!! Everyone has 1 goal there. No BS. OFF POST. Its awesome!!

Ok truth - 1st phone call was not quite as I wanted it to be - I read reviews and called back asked for Bryan. This guy is a true business owner and cares about it. I had a great conversation with him . I will be in town for 3 to 5 Mo., he is the only gym that was interested in getting my business. If you are looking for a Gym to call home I strongly encourage to Give World Gym and opportunity. I tried at 4 other gyms in the area and got lots of BS and Fees. Bryan thank you for your time and I look forward to working out at your facility!

It was one of the best experiences Ive ever had. They have so much to offer at such a great price! They have a fun center for the kids which is rare for many gyms these days. They have so many options for legs, arms, back, free weights etc. They have so many class options that come with the membership and a boxing room. Everyone was a big family and the owner was very helpful and took his time out to show me around. Great personable gym and even the members were friendly and welcoming and willing to help me out.

Best equipment and trainers in town hands down. Staff is there, lots of minor repairs needed, hours are not that good. Price is fair, but the maintenance fee you get charged is wrong when they shut the gym down for almost a month and dont give you a refund.

This gym is making us pay for a mirror that was really close to the ground so obviously someone is going to break it. Their equipment is old and raggedy anyways and there are more broken mirrors in there other than the one we broke so if you want to take pictures have fun with all those cracks because those mirrors are so damn expensive for no reason and a gym owner should not make members who pay monthly anyways, pay for mirrors that touch the ground. I liked this gym at one point but the pettyness with one mirror that’s not fully busted really sold me out.

So...Despite the rating, I really do recommend this place, mostly because its a pretty good value and never crowded; I just have have some (lots of) peeves.1. Staff. This is the easy part. Staff is great for the most part and the kids club hours are convenient.2. Amenities. Heres where it gets dicey. Theres plenty of equipment (probably too much) and never crowded. However, the majority of the equipment is dated and a lot of the amenities just dont work.Actually, half of the cardio machines dont work because theres an ELECTRICAL ISSUE.Simple things like the showers are never cleaned, paper towel dispensers dont work, sauna doesnt get hot, water fountain isnt fully functional, faucets really should be sensor operated, etc. and there was no toilet paper in the stalls for at least 2 days by my count.Theres a semi annual maintenance fee charged, Im just not sure what that fee is going to. They closed down for upgrades, pulled up the carpets, called that an upgrade, then posted a condescending note around the gym about how if you dont think removing the carpets is an upgrade, youre an idiot.3. Turns out there is no early termination fee to cancel but you have to buy out the remainder of a 2 year contract unless you move or have a doctors note stating that you cannot work out. Thats insane.

As my membership at another gym was expiring I wanted to look at options before agreeing to another contract. The staff is great, super friendly, answered any questions I had and have not let me down. The space is great, we arent working out on top of each other or fighting over one piece of equipment! The hours make it impossible for me to come up with the excuse of I dont have time to work out. 😉

There is a reason why me and a lot of my friends call this gym out home away from home. No sales BS and they dont have a fine print feel. You come in do your thing and feel comfortable the whole time. Staff is always helpful and polite and you have the owner walking the floor everyday greeting you. Ive been in other gyms but always stay here. Check them out ask for Bryan.

My husband and I were lucky enough to be members of this gym for 4.5 years. It was worth every penny. When we first started we were both overweight, our lives changed, partly because this gym. We love the staff and LOVE what the gym has to offer! We have recently moved but hope all the best to Bryan and his crew at the gym! Thank you, we are forever changed because of this place ;)

Equipment old. Treadmills skip and give you the feeling youre about to break your neck. Sauna was always broke. Gym always smells horrible because of carpet.I stopped going years ago. Gym = $20 to $30 a month. Just got $850 collection bill in the mail. Thanks.

The best and most well known gym in the heart of Fayetteville. Great atmosphere with friendly members and staff. Surprisingly large location. Highly recommended.

Not sure how to rate. The front desk staff was friendly enough. Super disappointed when my wife and I, new to the area, walked in with our 7 day free trial we had pulled off of the World Gym website 1 hour before and were told by Katelyn, politely, that that coupon was no longer accepted however, you can purchase a $40 30 day trial membership. Bit of a let down....As a manager of a business, this is something I train my staff to avoid within reason. Not sure we will be back as another gym has given us a free trial offer. Again as a manager of a business, we learn that if we get folks in the door and give them a great experience, we will earn their business.

Decent facility. Absolute headache to cancel as you have to actually mail in a cancelation letter and pay for your current month, the next month plus a cancelation fee. Will never do business again and if anyone asks Im telling them to go somewhere else.

Great gym for people that are serious about getting in shape. It has more competitors in it than any gym in the area, and it’s pretty clear why it’s known as Fayetteville’s strongest gym.

This gym makes you pay for their own broken mirrors that are nearly touching the ground. This is the only gym I had been to where their mirrors are placed soo close to the ground, a dumb bell that rolls to it will break, and these guys dont want to be held liable for, for anyones health

Ive been going here for 4 months. Its a great gym tucked away in a back parking lot. Its not as crowded as a lot of the other gyms, and the people and staff are courteous.

This gym is old and the weights and machines are in very poor condition. They have very few cable machines and some were broken. Rap music, I sometimes like Rap, was so loud it drowned out my Beats. Employees are more concerned with social life than helping patrons. Row machine is from the 1960’s. I will not recommend this location.

Place is older so it appeals to me. No fanfare just a great workout. Staff are great.

So excited to see the changes made! The subpar music, sluggish feel and overused equipment is gone!! Even the desk staff are more exciting!! Options in my workout are crucial and I appreciate this gym facilitating my workout needs.

SCAM ARTISTS. Moved out of town and forgot about my membership. 6 months later I got a collection bill for $850 dollars. How does $30 past due for 6 months equal $850....stay away from this gym.

Im from Maryland and visit this World Gym while in the area 4/19/2013 @ 10:30am for a Zumba class. The front desk clerk was rude, and had poor customer service. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone, and next time Im in the area I will take my workout outside.
