Best Barbershop in town. All Barbers cut a mean fade. Also great atmosphere.

I recently had my first haircut at Crown Barbershop with Clint. A good friend suggested Crown to me and they didnt disappoint. The barbers are funny and the atmosphere is very cool. You can tell they know their craft extremely well and 10 out of 10 Ill get my hair cut there again.

What can I say that’s not great. Great convos and hospitality plus you can get your ears lowered.

If youre in Fayetteville and need a haircut, this is the place, full stop. I got my haircut here for something like two years while I was in college and I miss it all the time.John, Ben, and Clint really know what theyre doing, and give incredible cuts every time. Not to mention theyre just great guys who make great conversation. Theyll remember your name, your story, whatever - they really go above and beyond just being your barber.One thing to know before you go in: there are no appointments - the shop is walk-in only and they operate based on a chalkboard list just inside the door. Put your name down and theyll give you an estimate on when to be at the shop. If you hang around (which I recommend for the conversation alone) and people before you arent there, youll even get your cut a little early.Its also cash-only, but theres an ATM about a block away and the guys are chill about you running to get cash after your cut if you need to.

Great place to get a haircut. Ya may have to wait but it’s definitely worth it. I’ve been a few times and sometimes I have to wait other times I don’t wait long at all. And the only reason you have to wait is because they do a great job cutting hair and they want to make sure you look good before ya leave. I definitely recommend this place for a great haircut

Awesome place, I went there on a Wednesday afternoon and had to wait only a few minutes. I loved it and wont go anywhere else. Service is top notch and hair cuts are exactly what you want it to be. They have competitive prices!

Ive been to this barber shop upwards of 10 times only successfully getting a haircut 1 time. The hours are awful and they colder after they have met their quota for the day. Very nice people and they do a great job but their system needs improvement. Also only cash, join the 21st century

Yesterday I had the pleasure to come here and meet some cool. people Sit back, relax, And get the best damn haircut Ive ever had. This was my first time here and now I understand what the hype is all about. Cool decorations and custom art pieces, always some oldies playing in the background, Im a huge vintage enthusiast and well I guess you could call me a greaser But these cats gave off the exact vibe I was looking for and I couldnt be happier with my haircut Ill definitely be coming back in the future.

Torn between a 1 Star and a 5. So I’m doing a 3. You go here for the haircuts they give, you definitely don’t come to feel warm and welcome. I have waited hours before. (Which obviously means they do a wonderful job) but it is very cold. They will openly mock other hairstylists and the work they do, they don’t greet you when you come in, they definitely don’t care if you stay or go.. but the thing they do give is some awesome haircuts. In saying that though, you can get work just as good done at quite a few other salons/barbershops.

Ive wanted to give Crown Barbershop a try for some time now, but until recently had been working out of town and never had the time. I was looking a little shaggy, and since I hadnt yet found a barber in Fayetteville, I decided to swing by first thing in the morning and give them a shot.Best cut Ive had in years! These guys have a great atmosphere, and the attention to detail is killer. My wife even noticed how intentional everything about the haircut looked. Clean lines and the length is perfect.I got the sense that, of the three barbers at Crown, not one would have given a sub-par haircut. The owner gave me my cut today, and he did an awesome job. Im sure the other two share his pride in their work. Ive found my new barbershop, and Ill be referring anyone who is looking for a good spot.

Atmosphere is exceptional, no other place quite like it. Staffed by only three or four guys, all great gentlemen. Maverick, the shop dog is always pleasant as well. Been here twice so far and the haircut has been great both times. This time, I had been waiting a few hours and didnt know they recently switched to cash only, but Ben let me stay and get my haircut anyway and just go grab cash later. Really great guys and awesome service.

Crown Barbershop is a place where I always feel welcome. I sense that the Barbers there care about the community they serve and that community is important to their clients overall health and well-being. There is almost always an interesting conversation going on, mostly among the patrons, but the barbers do often chime in and even when you can sense that they might disagree with spoken opinions, no one is discouraged from speaking there mind. It’s just like the barbershop my Granddad would take me to growing up and I appreciate the sense of connection that I feel each time that I go there. The shop does get busy at times which can lead to a long wait if you don’t plan ahead. But I find that it is very convenient once you learn the system. Crown Barbershop is not a place for those who do not understand traditional definitions of masculinity and the nostalgia of barbershops in American culture, or for those people who do not have respect for the Barbers’ time.

First time coming here. The wait was really long (rightfully so). Put my name on the board, went to class, and came back. Great cut and shave! I will definitely be returning

Best haircut Ive ever had, cool dudes awesome music and atmosphere. There is always a wait but I appreciate the effort of them telling you as accurately as possible how long it will be.Dont complain about the wait, sit down listen to some jams and relax.

Review for accessibility only, I havent got a cut here yet. Walked in at 11:15 on a Wed and was told the wait would be about 3 hours, according to the chalkboard even though no one was sitting in there waiting. Id like to give these guys a try as Im sure they do a good work, but appears Ill need to have an entire afternoon off to roll the dice and see when I get in. I have no issue with first come first serve and Id be happy to sit and wait probably 45min, but would be nice if they took whoever was sitting there waiting for next chair.Ill update if I ever get in, looks like a neat place.

Amazing haircut and a good group of guys. They dont do calls so you need to walk in and reserve a spot. Except for Mondays. Mondays are appointment only

I’m not going to lie I’ve been trying barber shops around town for the better part of a year and this one hands down is the best. All the guys in the shop are funny and kind I hope to be a regular there if the board isn’t too full.

Great haircut, probably the best quality cut in town. Worth the $20. However, I work 8-5, and based on my experience the average wait is well over an hour. There are two great barbers who take 45min to cut your hair. I like the effort they put into each cut so I understand the wait. But when there are a few people in front of you, youre looking at an hour and a half wait which I dont have time for. Id love to set up an appoint for Mondays (only day for appointments- and only appointments all day) BUT theres no working phone number for Crown anywhere to be found. I mean, cmon.

Best barbershop Ive found in NWA, and I reckon the best Ive been to anywhere! They do a FANTASTIC job and are very precise in terms of fading, blocking, edging, etc. They are also quite friendly and personable. Its definitely an old school/hipster vibe theyve got going on (the manly facial hair, the tattoos, the old-fashioned decor, the dope music...), yet they are not at all pretentious or stuck up – just very cool. The ONLY problem is that they are BUSY almost always, which makes it almost impossible for me to use this as my regular barber. They dont take appointments, just a first-come, name-on-the-chalkboard system, and by the time I get there after school (say 3:45-4:00pm), they are so booked up that Ive been turned away more than once, as I recall. I think they maybe leave early some days, too, to go live their lives – which is totally understandable, but again, has left me in the lurch a time or two. Anyway, all that said... if you can get in, they are the BEST.

I had a great haircut and beard trim, reasonably priced, great atmosphere, between old classic and new, talking about fly fishing, L.I.V.I.N. and looking pretty. I like men who take their time to do a GOOD job. Classic bluegrass folk played on the old speaker radio. If you dont like to enjoy your haircut/style then dont go to Crown Barber Shop. This is a typical time trip to the way you oughta be. See ya man! In about 2 weeks

Doors open at 8am. If you don’t show up 30min before you will wait two hours to get a cut. Clint rolls in around 7:58 -owner- he takes the longest to cut hair because he talks too much. Whether it’s in the morning after he smokes his wake and bake or afternoon moonshine. Ben rolls in around 8:10 -oldy- this guy has the fastest hands in the Wild West. But beware, tell him want you want or you will get what his late night party fever gives you. John rolls in around 7:52 -newbie- poor fellow doesn’t know what to do with himself except take his sweet time trying to make every hair cut perfect. Makes the second longest haircut at this joint. All in all.....this is a classic barber shop chat room. They should make a tv show out of the conversation of local politicians, historical and current events, to hobbies on site. But the problem they have is supply and demand. If they realized that scheduling appointments and charging more would earn them more money and less stress....everyone would be happier.

They get it perfect every time. Both barbers do a great job. Great atmosphere and music. Only downside is I dont always have time for the wait.

The haircut was less acceptable, it’s too bad that the owner’s daughter finds pleasure in making off-beat “dis tracks” that make her look worse than the target she is intending on bullying. Maybe he should find the time to work on raising a child better and giving a more impressive haircut.

This place doesnt take appointments. Instead you put your name on a chalkboard and wait. I just waited two and a half hours and left without getting my haircut. Ive been here before, and the haircut I got was okay, but its not worth this kind of waiting. Since I cant tell the difference, Ill just go some place that lets you make an appointment. This shop cant handle the business they already have, so they dont need mine.

Pro tips for making the best out of your Crown Barbershop experience.1)Get there early. I show up at 7:40 to make sure Im one of the first 3 to get in the chair. If you arrive anytime after that, be prepared for about an hour and half wait.2) Mondays are by appointment only3) bring cash. Its $20 for your haircut. Dont forget to tip4) there is a chalkboard right by the door when you walk in to write your name on as place holder for your cut .5) its ok if you dont know what you want, but have some idea about the length .

Ive gone to Crown four times for a haircut and I have to say I liked the cut I received, but I cannot recommend this barbershop. Their hours are horribly inconsistent and the only way to be certain to get a haircut is to show up as soon as they open and put your name down on their board and just wait. Ive waited 2 hours before to get a haircut (I know. I should have just left). On one occasion, the owner and one of the other barbers openly mocked a former employee in front of the entire shop. Which is funny because the former employee was the only one to give me a good haircut. I went back once after he left and wont be back again. The entire atmosphere is unprofessional, but thats by design.

The guys have a nice shop set up with a laid back friendly vibe. Ben gave me the cut I wanted even with my lack of direction. I will be going back again for sure.

This is the only place I will go to get a hair cut. Its a real barber shop. Not a barber salon. They operate like a barbershop, not a salon. Its a small, local business that puts out a solid product. They do not have a phone, which is a good thing I think, because your barber will cut your hair and handle his work load without taking a ton of breaks to answer the phone. Go by a check them out!

Just recieved my hair cut from these guys at Crown Barbershop. Ive been to many barbers and other hair cutting places and let me tell you these guys are the best in all of Northwest Arkansas. You might have to wait alittle bit or you might not and its more than worth it. Put your name on the chalk board go have a drink and come back or sit and have great conversations and get the best haircut you will ever recieve. You can get quicker service and sub-par quality cut at SportsClips or any other generic hair place. So if youre the type of person who has absolutely no place to be or any future obligations, ever, and really want that hipster cut then this is your kind of place.

I dont usually feel the need to leave a negative review for a local business, but Ill make an exception for Crown Barber Shop.I rarely come across such an unprofessional establishment. At the time of this review, there is not a way to contact this Barber shop, as there is no phone number or website listed on Google. However, the hours are listed, so when I read that they were open until 5 pm, I hopped in my car and drove 20 minutes across town. I arrived at 3 pm, paid for parking and walked to their front door to find a piece of paper with a note scribbled on it that read something to the effect of closed, not accepting any more clients today.Im disappointed, because based on the positive reviews of others I thought this would be a good place for a haircut. Maybe they are skilled in their craft, but Ill never know, thanks to their severe lack of basic skills needed to run a business.Ill be awaiting a smug response from the owner, like the one left for the last person who had the audacity to leave a negative review.

Just stood outside for an hour on Saturday waiting for Adam and Ben to show up. At 8:15 (about 15 minutes past the time Ive been walking through their doors for the past year or so) I check their facebook page and find out they no longer open on Saturday. They could have put a sign on the door. They could at least have M-F on the door. Clint, the owner, who walked by the store at about 7:45 could have said something to the 6 or so people standing outside, but he didnt. Thanks, man. They give a good haircut, but they dont want or need your business. Ill take mine elsewhere from now on.
