Back in October my husband and I realize we where drowning in our finances. We discussed bankruptcy and decided that was the way for us to go. Our first experience was a bad one. In late February early March we googled and found John Orcutt office. With much pray we made an appointment. We where able to get started fairly quickly and they even made us an appointment the next week to get all the paperwork started and an appointment with Ms. Angie Rhodes. Every time we called with a question she respond back in a timely manner with the answer. We had to do our final with her over the phone due to Corvid 19 and yet and still she was still very professional and took the time to answer all our questions and explain things to us. They ruined my credit. They took my mortgage off my credit report, when the mortgage was never part of the bankruptcy. The Mort needs to be reaffirmed, and they refuse to do it, knowing this is wrong.

I’ve been dealing with Christina crews for the past two months now and it has been a nightmare. No one in the office can give me a clear answer. It all truly feels like one big scam. I’ve ask to speak to someone else and I still have no answer.i am about to fire them all together.Answering to the bottom comment I went and worked with your new person and I was told a certain number of monthly payment when I started and now i am told I will have to pay more. Everything initially discussed was not honored at all.

Anita was very rude to me, rolled her eyes at me, made faces and disparaging comments to me. I felt very uncomfortable, somewhat attacked. I tried my best to answer her questions when she asked, but I was made to feel like it wasn’t good enough when she repeatedly told me that I was being guarded and that I wasn’t being forthcoming with her. I have nothing to hide. I was trying my best to answer her questions to the best of my knowledge. I’ve never discussed bankruptcy with anyone before so I wasn’t sure what to expect or what type of questions I was going to be asked. She obviously has been doing her job for a long time and was getting impatient with me when I didn’t know how to answer her questions. I tried to ask for clarification so that I could better answer her, but she was quick to brush me off and move on to the next client. My expectations were grossly unmet by Anita. I was hoping to leave with a basic understanding of what bankruptcy is, what it can do for me, and why I should even consider it. Instead I left more confused than ever and hurt by the complete lack of empathy and poor client care that I received here today.

Decided yesterday to consider bankruptcy and was able to get an appointment today. When I entered the office, I was greeted warmly and was given a couple more forms to fill out. Melissa is the Paralegal that helped me; I felt VERY comfortable discussing my finances with her, and felt that she was very thorough and professional. There were a couple of issues of which she was unsure, but had them resolved within a matter of minutes. She understood the urgency of getting this in motion, and was able to schedule me a follow up appointment tomorrow so we can get the ball rolling. I HIGHLY recommend this office!Today I had my second appointment with Chloe Everett. She did an EXCELLENT ant thorough job compiling and organizing all of the information needed to file my bankruptcy. We were very pleased with the demeanor of all the ladies who helped us with the bankruptcy. It is very hard to come to the realization that you can no longer keep your finances caught up. We were not made to feel that we had been negligent in our use of money. Angie was great at explaining to us every thing to expect and walked us through the details.

I had wrote a review of the lacking service from this office before. After the review was left they contacted me and handled my concern. They asked that I revise the review so I just deleted it. Now I am having another issue with a collection not being removed from my credit report that was included in our bankruptcy and Nikki West is choosing to ignore my several attempts to contact her about this. I have left several messages and sent emails and still no response. There again I feel they will treat you right in the beginning to get your money but when you are discharged, they don;t care 2 cents about you. Don;t let them mislead you as they did us telling us that collections included in bankruptcy would come of because they dont. You can bet your bottom dollar this review will not be deleted. UPDATE: as of September 2020 the issues I was having with collection agency not complying has been resolved and I have changed my star rating. J T Orcutts office did handle this at no charge.

She showed nothing but compassion and empathy for my situation. Working diligently with Ed to find a solution for my case. I was apprehensive about my appointment today. I met with Anita in the Fayetteville office, and she immediately put me at ease. She has such a compassionate spirit. She was very thorough. She explained my options and answered all of my questions. She is very knowledgeable and has great people skills. Her customer service is second to none. Working with her was truly an answer to prayers.

Anita explained options clearly and was very helpful. At the end of the appointment, so much knowledge was given and there was much peace.Even though I was there for moral support...I am so very glad that I accompanied to this appointment, not just because I learned things but I had the pleasure of meeting Anita.She truly is an asset to all those that she helps and you can tell that she cares for all those that she works with- what a Blessing!!

The Law Office of John T. Orcutt has been beyond amazing to me. From Chloe and Matt working to take care of my case all the way to Jeremy Harn taking care of me as a good person. Chloe has not only been helpful with my filing but also with my revisions. Matt was super professional and worked with my situation to get me the best possible outcome. And last but definitely not last, Jeremy was my savior when my vehicle was towed from the courthouse. He personally took me to get me to my truck and called me later that day to ensure I was taken care of. These folks go above and beyond in all they do and will always be some of the best people to work with. I’m not happy with the services that i did not receive that i paid for, why are creditors still coming after me when i paid You guys to get them off my back. I was Told months ago i would Receive a call back about this matter and never received one and months later people are still coming after me saying i owe Money. What a waste of almost $3000.

The whole experience was a pleasant one. Mary was friendly and professional. She explained the process and answered any questions I had. I would highly recommend them to anybody looking for assistance. By far the a great experience. After a long process due mostly to me not being able to obtain some required information due to some personal issues that happened, Angie Rhodes was extremely patient with me. Angie went above and beyond her job in my opinion and understood that life happens sometimes and not everything goes as planned. I would recommend this law firm to anybody that faces bankruptcy. My son and I came into the office for consultations, it was free and they made us feel so comfortable. I was scared and nervous, all the staff members were so kind and personable and educated us on our options. They made it so easy for us and made our decision that much more easy. I have already recomended them to our friends. I walked in with the weight of the world on my shoulders and left there feeling very blessed.

I went to John T Orcutt in November. The whole process from beginning to the end was more than expected. Working with Amy in the short amount of time that I had was phenomenal. She was very helpful and very compassionate towards my situation. She was upfront with me letting me know everything that I needed to do and what had to be turned in -in order to get my case processed in a timely manner. Amazing!! My husband and I received the best service. We came a few years ago and left do to the service on that day. We decided to try again and we were so happy we did. Juanita Houchen was amazing. Juanita answered all our questions and never made us feel we were a burden to her. Once we were done with her she moved us to the next person. Chole Everett was also amazing in helping us. Neither one rushed us and allowed us to talk. My husband and I are happy we decided to return.

I didnt know what to expect and was very reluctant to consider bankruptcy but I had the good fortune to be counseled by Anita Walter. She explained the process and went into good detail on what we could expect. Its hard to imagine anyone could do a better job of both explaining and making me comfortable with a decision to proceed.

I was extremely hesitant going into today, always had a negative stigma on bankruptcy, but I gotta admit I was almost in tears from the relief. People like her are needed for people like me, an instant calming mood. She took her time and explained everything, more than once so I understood. While filing for bankruptcy may not be the proudest thing I’ve ever done, speaking with Mary and knowing that Mr Orcutt and his team are working with me, not against me, has lifted a weight. The constant reassurance that everything was gonna be handled and I was gonna be alright, was what I needed. Thank you for this.

Everyone at the Fayetteville office was so helpful through every step of the process! They were there for me no matter what I needed. Chloe Everett couldn’t have been nicer and walked me through the process of getting my case ready or filing and always answered any questions so I understood everything.
