Bought a new set of tires 9 months ago and the sidewall on the left rear exploded. They would not admit it was faulty even thought the side was blown out. They wanted to charge me for a new tire plus mounting and balance. Will neve go there again.

My Mavis auto technician was on it this morning! I went to get air put in my tire and Makayla noticed instantly that I had a nail in my tire. She explained the importance of getting my tire plugged, the low cost of getting it plugged, and she was able to fit my car right in. My wait time wasnt long at all...I thank God for her seeing eyes and for the auto technician that actually plugged the tire!

I took our vehicle to Mavis because they are one of the few locations that are open on Sunday, and we really needed an oil change. I dont normally service my vehicles on Sundays, but the past week had been too busy to take it, were down to one car and this was the only day we could do it. I arrived at 11:30 am and asked how long it would take to do a simple oil change and tire rotation. I was told about an hour. About 3:15 I finally got my vehicle back. I was not given any kind of update the entire period I was sitting in the waiting room. The guy at the front desk finally walked out and asked me which vehicle I was waiting on, and then after looking into it, he was apologetic and told me hed take $10 off my service because of the long wait. Within 15-20 minutes of taking the vehicle back, it was done. When I got the final bill it was almost $90 - and thats with the $10 off. The front leather seats and steering wheel had greasy finger prints and grime all over them. Just a poor experience and not a good value for what I had done. I dont think Ill be taking my vehicle back here again. I know the pandemic has affected businesses ability to find competent and reliable workers, and yes, it was a Sunday... but come on guys! You need to do better.

I had a great experience with the staff at this location. My car was diagnosed with a bad battery from my Hyundai dealership, I came here for a new battery and they ran a diagnostic test on my car and my car battery health was 100%. They saved me hundreds and I will be back for sure for more service! Great staff, great experience! Thanks!

Excellent customer service. Me and my husband was at Inman farms when we realized he had a flat tire. Google the closest tire store and here we are at Mavis Tire and brakes. Fast friendly would definitely recommend for anyones tire needs. Excellent prices also.

I must have not met the kind people described in other reviews as the female there on Sunday 9/5, indeed wasted my time. She gave me a quote of $800- I agreed to it. She told me the car would be ready in 1 1/2 hrs. When I came back the car was still in same parking spot. I approached and asked when it would be ready and she said “when there’s a spot available”. No time frame given any more. If her explanation would have been advisory or even a sorry for the inconvenience, maybe I would have stayed but her sarcastic “here are your keys” showed her lack of customer service or empathy for my time being wasted. There are too many tire places for me to have to deal with this ignorance.

Micala was very helpful when I came in. She helped recommend the right wipers for my car while I waited for my brakes to be serviced. Would recommend d this location!

I stopped into Mavis about 5:25 because I needed my tire patched. The sweet young lady said they werent taking anymore customers. I said please I have a nail in my tire. She said let me ask the manager. The manager came out and asked what vehicle I was driving. He said let me go outside and see if I can fix it. He gave it a look and said. I can take care of it. I was so pleased. This is what you call great customer service!

I had two tires replaced after that i noticed steering wheel shaking set an appointment for 1 p.m to rebalance the tires they were busy being sympathetic they offered 3.30 p.m then they told me to wait 1 hr so made 2 visits to no avail that meanscater to new customers and do not fix existing complain

I was on my way to Iowa from Florida and the mavis in port richey florida had checked my tires the day before i left. What a joke. We had a tire separating and after calling 4 Mavis locations in the Atlanta area Andre and Micala at the Fayatteville Ga location took us in right away and had us back on the road in no time. They were great and I wish they were at my location in florida.

Ive never serviced my vehicle at Mavis Tires, but I was able to squeeze in, without an appointment today. In and out in 20mins for a full synthetic oil change, tire rotation and fluids check and top off. All under $70. Ill see you guys in 6000 miles. Keep up the great work!

I have taken my vehicle here multiple times and have gotten good service and they have done a good job with both of my vehicles. I want to give them 5 stars because the lady that works the front is really great, but they give me times that my car will be ready that are grossly off which isnt a really big deal, but they also tell me they will call me when my car is ready and I never receive a call. I end up having to call a few times. Overall I will be back.

I had to get my Jeep serviced. Met an employee there name Andre, he seems more knowledgeable than the other Mechanics (I spoke with them, I fished around) Im very picky when it comes to my vehicles. I was very pleased with the work done to my Jeep. Ill be back again for sure. Thanks.

I am a totally competent mechanic. There is only two things I cant fix on a vehicle. Tires and alignment. I installed a brand new rack on my van while visiting my mom . The day after I installed it I took it to Mavis to get an alignment. I told them I was in the middle of a road trip to Texas (True) and they said they would get it done quick. Too quick it seems. They twisted the tie rod without any regard for the rubber boot that is designed to keep dirt and water from damaging your steering. As a result they twisted them to the point they were torn open and broken. This was a new part one day and the very next day these guys broke the boots. I then drove back to Texas with my brand new steering exposed to dirt and water the whole trip. Over the next week I noticed the steering felt odd so I took the wheels off and found the issue. I called Mavis on a Saturday to talk to them and was told to call back during the week to talk to a manager. I called back on Wednesday and was told there was no manager and to call back tomorrow... I will update this review as I go through the process, but I will not use these guys again as this was a total rookie mistake. Check their work !!!Edit: I did finally talk to the manager. He was very nice. After I informed them I had to fix their mistake myself they offered to re do the alignment. As this was already fixed I declined. They then offered an oil change, which I accepted. As I have only used this location once I cannot speak to competency in all aspects. I can say they were polite at least.

Mavis did a great job on replacing our tires efficiently and a good price for two cars. They also replaced my front end steering rods and ball joint connectors effectively making my car safe again for travel. I didnt know the parts had worn out. Also, with two old cars and a big trip moving several hundred miles away, I asked for two car inspections and one oil and filter change. They inspected all points on the cars and fortunately found no problems to repair. This relieves our minds as our newest car is a 1992 and our older car a 1962. So having them inspected thoroughly gives us peace of mind for the long trip on Freeway speed traffic. They charged nothing for the multipoint inspection on both cars! That was really nice of them. The employees are very friendly, listen well, and document all maintenance issues I brought up. They addressed them all and provided us with excellent service. My hats off to the Mavis dealer on Ramah and Hwy 85S in Fayetteville, GA.

Great staff, they found me some good discounts on services I was needing anyway, and were very fast changing out 4 tires, changing my oil, and performing an alignment on my car. Will definitely go back there when Im needing service. I had avoided this place back when it was Kauffman tire due to a bad experience there, so I was very pleased to see such a positive change to the business, especially since I work across the street. I definitely recommend giving them a shot!

Everything was as stated and they were quick. The only complaint woul be the tire pressures werent set as to turn out low pressure light. Tires were all 20lb low.

I wonder why appointments are even suggested when there apparently is no consideration to honor them. I made an appointment and was told to wait an hour upon arrival, which I did, but after waiting for 2 hours with no service or explanation offered I became concerned and spoke to the 2 managers on duty. Needless to say, they offered no assistance and I was told that I should consider leaving my car. Had they told me earlier this could have been alleviated. I have been a loyal customer for years, but I feel my business will be better appreciated elsewhere!!!!
