Update: I used to love this place but lately I can never get in for repairs in a timely manner. They are always a week or two out. If I talk to Bob I always have a great experience but the receptionist isnt very friendly and I always feel like she is annoyed at me before I even say hello.Short review: Quick service, trustworthy, and friendly. Ive used him several times with no issues.Long review: Ive used Bobs shop several times for 3 different vehicles since we moved here. He always does good work at reasonable prices. Hes very personable and knows exactly who I am when I call to check on anything or set up an appointment. Ive always been able to get my vehicle in to the shop within a few days depending on the service required and its always done same day. If we ask for a call about the diagnosis before work is done, he always calls before doing any repairs. Feels honest and trustworthy. We have older vehicles that regularly have dash lights on when inspection time comes around and he always helps us get past inspection with as few repairs as possible.

Was On my way to Florida for vacation from Asheville Asheville NC and had to go through Fayetteville to pick up grandson and car started acting funny and check engine light came on. While at Universal Studios got a call and report of spark plug wires came loose from coil pack and was an easy fix and a $64.00 diag and repair. Been going to Bobs since I PCSd here. Easily my favorite mechanic and I always feel taken care of. Easy to talk to and I never feel like Im getting the run around. It would be a 5/5 stars, however, the woman that runs the reception is just so hard to work with. My wife and I have both had not-great interactions with her unfortunately.Story time: my car needed the NC vehicle inspection. Ive been bringing all three of my cars there since I got here for maintenance and inspections. I call around 9AM yesterday and ask if they have any openings coming up. She answers and tells me to bring the car in at 3PM. Sounds great. At 2PM I find myself on the same street, less than a mile from Bobs. I call and see if I could get seen earlier, just to save some time. She says I dont have any inspectors here, what time were you trying to come? I told them I had an appointment at 3 and she said Oh, well I dont have any inspectors here. I say Oh, are you not going to be able to take my car at 3 either? and she angrily goes Sir, thats not what I said, now you can go somewhere else or you can be here at 3. I said Ill see you at 3. I hung up and even my son in the back said Wow, she was kinda rude. I shrugged it off because Ive talked to her before and I knew it was just how she is. We find errands to do in the area and I eventually walk in at 2:52. Literally 2:52. She asks What do you need? when I walk in. I tell her I talked to her on the phone and I had a 3PM appointment. She goes Sir, I told you to be here at 3. I kinda take a step back, as anyone in the military knows you dont just show up the exact time of your appointment. I tell her Im just a few minutes early and she goes Oh well I dont have any inspectors here and I dont know when they will be back. She calls some up and they tell her they will be back in 10-15 minutes. Im completely fine with waiting because I appreciate this business and wanted to support them even though I had called like 6 hours before to schedule this. 25 minutes go by, she calls back, and they tell her they are going to Hope Mills and will be back after that. I decide then to just leave. I tell my wife I had a bad experience at Bobs in a text and without even knowing the context she said was it with the woman at the front?.So I probably wont be going back to Bobs ever. She makes it pretty uncomfortable there and I never know who is going to pick up the phone when I call.

Bottom Line Up Front: Bob Miarers Auto Service is were you want to service your vehicle for quality work, without being ripped off by the dealerships around town. A reputable company who is here to help you, not just out to make as much money as possible.I have had my vehicle checked and serviced here multiple times. For the first time, Im getting honest opinions and advice for my vehicle, which have saved me thousands of dollars. My vehicles dealership wont even explain why I need the maintenance they recommend, which every time totals over $1000 after just getting my oil changed. Customer service was awful. I asked for appointment and the lady said I could drop it off. Well what good is an appointment if the time allotted is not an appointment. I just moved here so I didnt want to leave my vehicle and she said Oh you dont know how to use Uber or a taxi. Her tone was condescending so I hung up. Theres a saying you wanted my money not my business. They will not get my business. Im big on customer service.

I just PCSed to Bragg from Macdill, so naturally I had to get my vehicle registered in the state of NC. I called ahead to see if they had any availability because i didnt want to wait hours just for a registration. The owner told me to come on down. I got there, and the owner advised me to get my tint fixed, before the inspection, which was nice because he could have charged me and failed me.I got the tint removed because it wasnt legal accordingly to NC, and I came back. I sat for about 30 more minutes, 2 NCOs walked in and had their uniforms on. The owner jumped to accommodate them in turn leaving my inspection on the back burner. I wait another 42 minutes while the owner got the soldiers squared away. After they left I was taken care of. The reason i gave 2 stars instead of 0 because the woman at the front, she sensed my frustration and thanked me for my patience. She was extremely nice.

What a great shop! I am new to the area and found this place through a quick google search cause the AC in my car is broken. Called and spoke to the owner who is so friendly and took the time to talk through all of the different possibilities/options before describing the the work they would do to troubleshoot. Got me in the next day, got the AC working for a very reasonable price. Then a week later, Ive got a slow leak in one of my tires so I call to see if I can get an appointment soon. I guess the owner is on vacation but the guy filling in for him is equally as awesome. Told me to bring it right over, they had me in and out quickly for a very reasonable price. Additionally, he brought me the part that was defective, showed it to me, and explained how it all worked. I really appreciated the transparency both times. These guys clearly have very high standards for customer service and work, and I will go back here for anything and everything my car needs.

Very u inconsistent and inconvenient, I had multiple delays of them calling me back also while advocating to the woman at the front she quoted that I should go to walmart next time get my own tires and put them on myself .She also told me that she wouldnt need my buisness anyways .My Grandmother and I will not be going here nor referring anyone to this establishment anymore .

I couldn’t ask for a better experience. I was worried about a flat tire that a previous auto shop couldn’t fix. The auto shop told me there was nothing they could do. I came to Bob’s shop and they were quick to find what was wrong with my tire, and I paid half of the price here than the previous shop! Super friendly staff and great hospitality.

Talk about feeling uncomfortable and feeling ripped off, let me share it. On May 13th, I took my truck there for an A/C leak and after $100 I was told there were no issues found. They had replaced the refrigerant and I was good to go but if the A/C went out again to bring it back. On June 3rd, my A/C stopped working again so I took it back to them. When I arrived to drop it off I was wearing my Army PT shorts and the front desk lady came closer, looked me up and down and said: “Look at those legs! I’m glad it’s warm outside and that’s right, I got no shame.” I’m glad my wife wasn’t there, cause it would probably have gotten ugly. Anyone would feel flattered with a compliment, but that felt completely out of place and wrong. Now imagine the opposite, I’m the one behind the counter and say that to a lady coming in as a customer?Later on, Bob called me and explained the Condenser was bad and it would cost $775 to replace it. I told him I would have to wait to get it fixed. He charged me again $50 this time which to my surprise would not be counted against the $775 if I brought it back to them. I just got off the phone with Auto Zone and they have a brand new Condenser for $120 w/ lifetime warranty. Called another shop and they can replace it for a fraction of the cost. Best of luck to anyone bringing your vehicle there.

Bob and his crew were nothing but honest, diligent and informative. No project vehicles, so all of the bays are open for quick turnaround times. He will work at your pace and very detailed on what your vehicle needs and why, so You! can make an informed decision.

I appreciate Bob and his team. I dropped off a car I bought as a first car for our son. I asked Bob to just give it a good inspection and fix what he felt needed to be done so it would be a safe car. We then left town to go on vacation and when we returned the car was ready to go. There was some things I have not expected needed to be done but I was good with it because I felt that Bob was an honest man or I would not have left the car there in the first place. Our sons safety is priority. I will defiantly return here in the future and recommend others to do so. Finding an Honest shop in this town is a hard thing to do. This is one in my opinion.

If I could give zero stars I will because the lady that works in the computer is so rude and ask for your keys without respect and behaves in rude manners when you tell her you cannot leave your car the whole day she answers with a nasty attitude and when you ask her something about your car like I have to ask because is my care how can I trust living my car with rude and careless person like you. Don’t come here they do disorganize.

Earlier today my Wife was locked out of her car. Right after putting our son in his seat and getting the stroller in the trunk. in the process the car being newer auto locks on its own. Our son was locked in the car sleeping as she panicked on the out. After she called emergency services then myself. I called BOB. Before emergency services got there he had made it from near Ft Bragg entrance on Yadkin road to the Best buy area. Before emergency responders could. Got the car unlocked and my son was still sound asleep. A nightmare of what felt of 30 mins was over in less than 15. Also was done in the start of lunch time. Bob you are the best!!!

Best auto shop in Fayetteville. The best techs and customer service.

I broke a tail light on a rented van and I knew the repair cost would be less than the $500 deductable on my insurance so I asked Bob to order the tail light and install it. He had the item in a day and repaired the van the following day at a very reasonable cost. I was completely satisfied with the work and amazed at the speed in which it was conducted. I was able to return the van in record time.

Mr. Miarer runs a fantastic business. His mechanics are very knowledgeable and his prices are very good. This is the only place I trust my vehicle.

The service paid for was a simple tune up (spark plugs, spark plug wires, fuel filter, oil and oil filter) I do not know exactly how to classify the service. The service itself was done to par; however, the quoted price vs the actual price was outrageous. He quoted me $210 to get me into the door. After all was said and done the price was $438. He said they needed to pull the motor in order to reach the rear spark plugs. I have replaced those spark plugs in the past without pulling a motor. I understand that nothing mechanical goes as planned and was expecting 20 - 35% increase from the original quote, but over 100% more than the original price! After I politley voiced my discrepancy he lowered the price to $398. Still a 90% mark-up.

I have never had such a bad experience. They did a bunch of repairs that didnt need to be done and it cost me so much more than it should have. After weeks of not doing any work, I finally went somewhere else. They fixed the problem in 2 days, and it cost 1/5 of what Bobs charged me.

Military family here at Bragg with less than 6 months on station. 3rd duty station and every move its a pain finding a trusty mechanic.Anyways, came back from leave visiting family out of state and my second, much older, car was having trouble starting. I knew almost immediately it was the starter going bad and it eventually wouldnt start at all. My wife works too so I needed to get the car back up so we didnt have to rely on only one car. My wife got it towed to the shop around 11 and by 6 PM they already had it back up and running. My wife said they were very friendly and they completed the fix the same day!
