First company we called said it had to be replaced. We called here for a second opinion. The guy got here promptly, was happy they were able to repair it and not replace the whole thing since it’s 14 years old or so. He fixed it while on-site for under a grand. Impressive. GET A SECOND ESTIMATE! Do not trust their word, better yet, do not call them. Jessie came out and seemed confused by my high efficiency condenser. Made several phone calls asking others how to fix it. Told me my entire condenser needed to be replaced and was under warranty. Quotes me $3000 for labor only to replace. Called around after and other companies told me labor should be under $1000 maximum. Had a trustworthy HVAC technician come out, replaced the control board (which was covered under warranty), charged me $150 for labor. After I declined to proceed with Pettys outrageous estimate, he added $250 to my bill for warranty filing. Desperation is no excuse to get conned by this conman.

Had the water heater go out. Called Petty on a holiday. The phone was answered, a few questions asked. In less time than I would think I had a quote. The next day the water heater was installed. Pettry Plumbing provided exceptional service to our home, and I plan to use them for all future plumbing needs in the future. The task that I needed them for was to remove a screw that had dropped into my garbage disposal and locked up the grinder. I tried to remove it myself, taking more than 5 hours. They came out the same day I called them, completing the task in half an hour, for a significantly cheaper cost than other companies quoted.

Ive used Pettry on several occasions. Both plumbing and HVAC. Theyve been prompt and the work professional.As with any repair guy, I dont like to have to call one but if I do have to call one, hes one I like to have on call.Hes replaced an on demand water heater and a compressor on a heat pump at another place I have.

Very positive experience--Jesse talked me through all the options for my unit and had my A/C up and running again in no time. He even offered to come out a day earlier than I was anticipating so I could avoid another night in the heat. I would definitely do business with Pettry again.

Our AC went out during July in the 90 degree heat. I called Jesse and he came over the same afternoon to diagnose the problem. He figured out the issue very quickly and recommended some possible fixes. My wife was 9 months pregnant at the time and he was able to rearrange his schedule to get the new unit installed the next day. He was very knowledgeable and I would definitely call then again for service.

Wonderful experience with these guys. I was having problems with my A/C unit not getting to temperature. Jesse was very knowledgeable and walked me through the reasons why I was having trouble and how he could fix it in a matter of minutes. Straight shooter, he didnt try to sell me stuff I didnt need or tell me the unit was bad, he just fixed it quickly and professionally. Came home from work yesterday to discover that the temperature inside our house was 86 degrees. After calling more than 15 other business to fix our unit, Pettry was the only company who would come out that evening. All the other companies that were 24 hour services said it would be either Wednesday or Thursday. This was unacceptable as we have an infant son and needed the house to be a comfortable temperature. Pettry came out within a couple hours and got us up and running in less than two hours. We are thankful for them and the time the spent with us advising us the best and most cost efficient way to go about our repairs! Thank you for your fantastic service!

Im astounded they were able to provide the excellent service that they did at price lower than multiple competitors.

Came out the next day which was great! But prepare for many fees. We were low on Freon so we had the Freon charge and service charge which were extremely reasonable prices for sure. Then a $135 “adjustment fee” and also a fuel charge (we live right in town in Fayetteville).

They replaced our pressure valve and relocated it, for easy accessibility in the future. I feel bad cause they had to drain and move my water heater to get to it, all on a Friday night. Very knowledgeable and professional guys...will definitely use again and recommend to family/friends.

I called Pettry after my home warranty company contracted plumbers unsuccessfully tried to fix a leak under my kitchen sink four times. Jesse at Pettry assured me the leak would be fixed before he left, and he was right. He diagnosed the problem quickly, had all he parts to fix it in his truck, and the job was completed in about 15 minutes. I will definitely be using them for my future plumbing needs.

Today my AC randomly cut off around 6:30pm and my house got up to 80 degrees. I just brought home my newborn from the hospital a few days ago and needed it fixed ASAP. Other companies wouldn’t come out / were booked up for Labor Day. Called Pettry and after explaining the situation they asked me if anyone had mowed today, which they had. They then talked me through how to fix the problem myself (weedwhacked wires) to avoid a charge and a visit from them so my newborn wasn’t in a house that was burning up. Will def use them in the future!!!

These guys came on the coldest day of last winter when our furnace went out. It was also a Saturday. He managed to get the part and installed it. We had heat again in a couple of hours. Also just fixed a problem with the ac. Thanks!

Our A/C went out in the house that we rent and Jesse got to our house fast and when he found out that we had a baby in the house he was very helpful in getting the approval needed by the home owner to get it repaired. When the unit arrived at the house he had it all put together in no time.

Secondly, the tenant had lived in the property for weeks before this happened and there is no way we could have known about this issue beforehand. The tenant misplaced our number and called you through google searching. We are always very attentive to our tenants. Additionally, who you think I am and whether or not you think I am an owner is quite incorrect/irrelevant but many of the things you have said are incorrect. I do not care to correct you. You did message me that your wife is a lawyer and I have proof of these messages, in your response to the review you said you had never been married. If you do not tell the truth once, twice... I was called the b word by you twice. You threatened law suites over 5 times. I have proof of all the above. You are blocked on my phone and we will never consider using you again, for anything. Please refrain from contacting me or any of my associates.Original review: I grew up in the Fayetteville community and have worked with many wonderful subcontractors in Northwest Arkansas. I have to say that my experience with Pettry has not been wonderful. I only communicated with an individual named Jesse. The details of this story are quite remarkable. After telling Jesse that I would leave a review of my experience with his company he stated that his wife is a Lawyer and that I should expect a lawsuit soon if I leave a review. I will not go into many details on this post but I will say is that when I was gone on vacation a tenant of ours went through google listings and called Pettry due to a sewage back up. She was given our emergency number but lost it and called a random plumber directly. She called Pettry plumbing. I dont blame her, reviews look good. (But not a BBB member?) She was charged near $400.00 ( I do think this may have been on Christmas Eve) for 2 hours of work. The technician, I believe his name was Daniel, attempted to clear the blockage but was unable so he uncapped the cleanout and sewage ran out onto the lawn and he left it like that. My business partner contacted Daniel and my brother in law was under the impression that Daniel would call the city because Daniel stated that the blockage could be coming from the city side but it could be likely that we would need to spend between 8,000 to 10,000 dollars to cut into the road and replace a costly section of drain pipe on our end. The day after Christmas my business partner called the city and the city stated that they had no voicemails or messages from Daniel but they would come and check their end. The city came and flushed their end and reported that the blockage was our fault and from our pipe. My brother in law decided that this was a high dollar scenario and a second opinion was warranted. Johnson plumbing, for 175.00, came out and unclogged the blockage in a matter of minutes. We were able to recap the cleanout to prevent raw sewage going out on the lawn and everyone was happy. When I confronted Pettry to find a solution to spending almost 400 dollars for their service (because I was obligated to pay our tenant back) I believe I was met with defensiveness, questionable customer service, and accountability may have been lacking. I was even told that your phone number makes perfect sense. I am from San Antonio and have an outside area code. Apparently, this company may not like people from Texas even though I have lived in this state since I was 12 years old. Happy New Year. It was great to come back from vacation and deal with this situation.

Nice guy but there were extra fees involved I was unaware of. In addition to the diagnostic, there was $45 for extra time and a fuel charge (we live in Uptown Fayetteville).

I was assigned with another company through my warranty company in June, to see what the problem was with my A/C unit, this other company had to order a board, that he said would take a week. He bypassed a few things to keep my unit going until the board came in, my air wasnt cooling like it should have but it was bareable, 2 months later it blew the fan motor he came back out was here for 7 hours and still couldnt figure out what was wrong, he again bypassed said I had air until he could get someone to come out and help him, he called the warranty place had them try to charge me another service fee, I refused, Today I called the other guy told him the air never did work when he left and he said he wasnt coming back out and to have my home warranty assign me someone else, wow love how he does business, anyhoo I was assigned Pettry Plumbing, they came out was here Id say less then 2 hours and had me up and cooling, GO JESSE!!!! He is awesome and I thank you so much, how fast you got here, how fast you took care of the problem and how easy it was to talk to you and you explain what was wrong! From now on Jesse from Pettry will always be the one I will ask for if I ever have an issue again! Wish I could give this a 10 star rating, but 5 is all it lets me do.. Thank you again!
