Got a haircut here a little while ago, and Ill be going back soon. It was my first time in. As soon as I walked in, I was cordially greeted, asked what kind of haircut I would like and was escorted to the barber. I forget his name but he was extremely professional, conversational and helped me find the style I wanted even though I didnt know myself upon arrival. He also walked me through the products they have and found the best ones to suit my needs. The products they have are top of the line, well priced and very effective. They make their beard oils on site and he said if there was one I wanted that they didnt have on display currently, they could make it for me right there. Overall, it was the best experience Ive ever had for a haircut, hands-down. The interior of the store is amazing, very comfortable and very welcoming. I recommend this business to anyone looking for a great haircut, beard trim, coloring, or all of the above. They definitely have long term loyalty with me. They also offer kids haircuts.

I no longer have to wonder what a Viking would see as he ascended into Valhalla. Walk through the doors of The Cave and you too shall know!!!! Seriously though…this is the mecca of manness….as far as a barber shop (we don’t call them “Salons” in these parts) goes. Just a totally overwhelmingly manly experience just waking through the doors. If that’s not enough for ya, go ahead and book the most bad a&&% barber this side of the Mississippi… Jesse! Full on biker bad a#@ but a true craftsman whilst you are sitting in the chair! So much of the old ways get lost but this place, and ESPECIALLY Jesse encompass all that seems to be lost these days in the art of being a man. It’s a surreal experience. Whether you’re wearing your cut and clothes that smell of the road and motor oil, or the finest suit you own….you’ll feel as you are part of the tribe when you walk in! Jesse took his time and actually made me feel like his “trade” was more art than anything else. Totally pleased and WILL NOT go anywhere else! Seriously…go check them out!

I enjoyed my visit to The Cave. I was able to get an appointment that worked for me on the same day I called. I used google maps to direct me and it took me there without a problem. I found The Cave to be clean and all employees were wearing masks as required by the State of NM during the COVID-19 pandemic. Very professional staff and I was seated at my designated time. Overall a very good experience and I received a great haircut at a reasonable price. I will be using The Cave for my next haircut.

If your a man then this is where you need to go hands down the best place in town. Very great staff and the services they offer are top notch. I recommend the beard oil or balm and the sodas too. But go get a haircut or beard trimmed or straight razor, you wont be disappointed

Loved the environment. Looks more like a bar then a barber. The staff is amazing. The stylist Jessica is awesome. Takes her time does an amazing job. I will definitely be going back from now on.

My husband gets his beard trimmed here and they have always done a real good job... My husband loves the beard oils we are able to buy... Jessica also cuts my sons hair & she does an amazing job... The atmosphere is really laid back and the inside is just cool! They have yummy drinks, and other awesome things you can purchase... This is all around just a really cool establishment! I highly recommend...

For a number of years I went to a Barber shop and it felt like a chore. Sat in line and waited for the next available barber on a cold hard plastic chair. It was never an enjoyable experience and I would wait as long as possible between cuts.The Cave has changed all of that by making a haircut the highlight of my week. The straight razor on the edges with a hot towel make for more than a great haircut but also a great experience! Jessica is excellent at what she does and always takes good care of you. I love the soft leather chairs in the waiting area and the father son discount is a nice touch as well.Come here for your next haircut...but I have to warn you. You will not want to go anywhere else after you experience The Cave!

I love this new grooming business! I went with my husband and they are all very professional and it is a great atmosphere. The inside is decorated awesome and I loved looking around their gift store. His hair looked better than ever too!

The place is very well decorated on the inside with dark muted colors, nothing opulent or obnoxious. The staff are very kind and warm. The haircuts I’ve gotten here are great but about half the ladies that work here have no idea how to trim a beard. If you want it trimmed i would recommend doing it yourself.

Can be busy, so best to call ahead. Great service and you can even get a shoe shine!

There is nowhere else in Farmington quite like this! Probably the only hair shop in the four corners that focuses strictly on male grooming. The whole environment is pretty unique with an earthy/modern design that has a Victorian twist. I liked that their bourbon scented products match the log cabin interior. Weather you want a hot towel and straight razor or just a trim go see Jesse Rogers the guy with the killer beard!

Had a great experience at The Cave. Sam did an excellent job cutting my hair and trimming my beard. Every employee I encountered was very friendly. A much more personal experience than what most barbers give you. Can’t wait to take my sons to The Cave!

Moving to Farmington a little over a year ago, I did an extensive search for a barber / barbershop and ended up meeting Sam (who was at a competitor at the time). After several visits, I had learned she moved to The Cave.From my first visit to The Cave and in addition to Sam, the owners, barbers, and cosmetologists have been amazing! The team truly makes you feel welcome! They are all professional and are committed to their craft.Additionally, the atmosphere of The Cave is catered toward its (mostly male) customer base and offers a wide variety of services that set it apart from franchise salons and other barbershops. Pricing is where I believe it should be for a onetime visit, but their membership pricing is even better and will help keep in budget, while looking good, week after week.Yes, in the Four Corners area, you can get a $5.00 from somewhere else, but at The Cave, you may pay a little bit more, but you walk away looking, and feeling good, and like someone (at The Cave) wants you to look and feel good too!

I definitely will not be returning, the customer service i received was not the best. Since i walked in the attitude i was given was like i was an inconvenience by being there. The girl who greeted was not even trying to be welcoming, I asked if we could be fit in for a haircut and she said I guess, seriously?. I was there early in the morning to get a haircut for a little one so understandable youre not a morning person, got the haircut, was i pleased for what i paid? Hell no. The cut was HORRIBLE, looked like a barber school fail. It literally looked like an old school bowl cut..

Charged $45 for a messed up hair cut I can get from my old barber for $15*EDIT* - Went back to get my refund and they generously did give my money back and offered to fix his hair with out a problem they were very nice and understanding I will go back and try a different Barber.

My dad took my son for a haircut before my grandfathers funeral. My kids hair is uneven, he’s got a cut on his inner ear, and he is mortified by the cut he received. I don’t know why we were charged for such a horrid experience.
