This was my first time renting a uhaul. I didnt know there was a difference in price if the uhaul was returned to the same location (referred to as in-town pricing) vs. another. I asked the front desk what to do, and they did not give me any direction. I had already booked the uhaul online, and I ended up deciding to keep what I booked to save 3 minutes of driving and return to a closer location--a mistake that cost me an extra $75. Its expensive enough to move, but to move during COVID was a financially tasking decision. Very disappointed and would never recommend this place to anyone.I did file a complaint, spent over an hour on the phone, etc. I was told I would receive a call from the general manager at this location. Instead, I received an email from the general manager stating a refund of $35 would be returned to me. When I was on the line with uhaul customer service, I was offered $50.
Tried and tried and tried to call to reserve a vehicle. 10:30 Friday morning and no one can be bothered to answer the phone. Guess Ill take my business elsewhere.
Options are good and the price they offer is decent for 4 or 8 hr package
