Ive paid them thousands of dollars and have nothing to show for it. They havent finished anything and havent communicated with me about it for over a year - except when they want an invoice paid. They have all the documentation for several years and..... nothing.Im in a bad spot because I cannot move forward until they get their part done. I may have to start over with someone else and consider it all a loss.

I used this company to get my 2018 taxes done. I removed 2 stars because my taxes were completed incorrectly, and removed another star for the price of $450, which I was charged after being there for approximately 90 minutes (I was a first time customer).I was informed by Wisley & Williams that I needed to pay quarterly taxes in 2019, but this was incorrect (I’m a full time employee and receive a W2, which I told them). I paid the quarterly taxes that Wisley & Williams told me to but when I connected to a different CPA to complete my 2019 taxes, she told me it was incorrect for me to be paying quarterly. The IRS agreed and I can confirm that I now received all the money back that Wisley & Williams told me to pay quarterly in 2019.I gave this business 2 stars because it seems like the owners care about their business. Overall however, I think the quality of work being done here could use improvement. Definitely not a fit for me.

I found Wisley & Williams while searching the web for an accountant to file my 1040 return. I moved to Michigan, so I had income from multiple states. I liked the professional service treatment and they are not a one man show. I worked with both Ian and Mark and was very pleased with the results. I was able to get a sit down appointment and then came back to pick up my tax return about 5-7 days later. They also offer financial services, which is nice because its an all in one firm. Pricing was fair. I paid $425 for my return.

I have always done my own return on turbo tax. I have a couple rental properties and a stock account. I didn’t think it was worth paying someone to do. I found this company on google. I just walked in to Wisley & Williams and asked them to review my return only because of all Trumps new tax law changes that have occurred in the last year. I spoke to Mark who said he would review the return. I thought they might find something small. I guess I was wrong. They found deductions I missed, a large credit that is new just in the last year, they even went back and amended my prior year return. They got me back an extra $7,000. I am a client for life. Thank you Mark and staff. They also do financial advising and insurance so it’s to get it all done at 1 time.

I live in Novi and have had the same CPA for 19 years. He is older and I felt it was important to establish a new relationship with a younger firm now then be forced to find someone if he retires or something happens to him. They have a staff of 10-12 which is something else I liked rather than just a 1 man show. They offer a multitude of services. I just used the tax service. I felt like they were quite knowledgeable and friendly to work with. They are more expensive but I am still glad I finally made the switch.

Great firm small business clients. They do are monthly accounting and text planning for our S-Corp. I found the business online and went off the reviews and now 2 years later I am very pleased with the service. They also do my entire familys individual returns. Theyre fees are not cheap but the level of personal service you get us worth the money. My wife and I moved to the Oakland county area 9 months ago. A friend of my wife owns a couple small businesses’ that Wisley & Williams services for accounting. She recommended them to us.For 6 weve used a large firm out of state to prepare our trust and 1040 returns. Wanted someone closer, a person to actually meet with. We setup an appointment with Mark. We met with him a month ago. This past Tuesday we picked up the returns. Mark reviewed everything. It’s the 1st time someone has taken the time to do that. I came to Wisley Williams for my tax return filling after having a bad experience from a previous cpa firm. I found Mark very knowledgeable and the best part is he completes your tax return while you are there and that helps clear any confusion you may have and he gives you a professional answer.
