Food seemed made by an amateur cook, but was very cheap price wise so I cannot rate lower than 3.

Really cute place. Service was good. Server said it was happy hour. Margaritas should have been $3, according to the menu. She said no, this menu is not current and margaritas were $5. I have an issue with false advertising. There was nothing memorable about the food. It was decent. With SO many other places around, we probably wont be going back

If you want a Mexican restaurant that is more low key and not so upscale. Then this is a good spot. The food was subpar but the drinks were really good. They had a fly problem which really ruined the meal for me.

So disappointed!! I have been here before and the experience was so different. It took 20 minutes to get water and our queso fundido. We were sat immediately but chips and salsa took forever to come out. Our margaritas were sitting on the end of the bar for several minutes before being delivered so most of the ice had melted and the drinks were weak as a result. There were only 3 other tables in the restaurant and they seem to be getting the service we were used to in the past. There was a wedding going on in the back room and the restaurant assured us that they had separate waitstaff working that party. However, I noticed our waitress going back there on several occasions. Clearly their focus was the wedding party and not the regular customers that frequent the place. Too many Mexican restaurants in the area to put up with poor service. We ended up at El Rincon in downtown Carrollton which was an incredible dining experience!!UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO THE RESTAURANT’S RESPONSE: There was absolutely no shortage of waitstaff in the restaurant. There were only three tables. Our table (a party of two) and two other tables of 4-5 people each with their own waitress during our visit. And a wedding party in the back room which we were assured had their own waitstaff. Our waitress was just not paying attention to us or moving very fast. So, please don’t play that “card”. At the end of the day, it was a bad waitress that was not focused on meeting the needs of her customers.

The food was not seasoned. The taco shells were store bought, not home made like the Mexican restaurants Im used to. Just disappointing 😞

This had been my go to place for Mexican food. But the last several times, it has been a real disappointment. The Chips were stale and the food wasn’t even hot. And like I said this has happened the last 2-3 times I’ve eaten there.I wont be back. And the prices have gone up.

A Hidden Treasure. A true diamond. Great food with a wonderful atmosphere. Friendly Faces. This has become our fave Mexican food place. The street tacos are fantastic. The enchiladas are divine and the Sopapillas were plated so pretty it was almost a shame to eat them and spoil it. Love Love LOVE it!!! Going back OFTEN.

On July 7 we buy a chicken soup for my wifeShe eat a part of the soup then after 15 minutes she have a severe stomach pain finally we find that that chicken soup was spoiled seems like that soup was from day before ;this could be the secrets that are living on a kitchen. So now I understand that the only good food exist is that food I cook for my Dog

A very traditional restaurant with excellent food. I had the chicken mole and it was homemade goodness. The Victoria is a welcome break from the standard chain fare. Sort of out of the way but well worth the effort.

The food was delicious! My drink was delicious...I had a Mezcalita, not pictured. Margarita made with mezcal. We will go nack to try more items. My only complaint was service. She was a little slow and left dirty dishes way longer than necessary and never offered another drink, which I wanted. It was good enough to try again.

My family and I really enjoy this restaurant. My parents turned us on to it. Used to be a every friday night outing till covid happend.

First of all, you would never expect such a jewel of a place to eat in this tucked away area. Easy to get to, tight off of Valley View exit on I35 in Farmers Branch. Lots of parking, plus a nice patio, but no signs. Extensive menu, and the fajitas smelled terrific. I ordered an unusual dish, Lemon Chicken. It was a butterflied chicken breast, breaded and fried, with a mushroom sauce that had lemon. It came with a salad and white rice, and it was great!! Definitely on my list of places to eat out. Check it out!!

Weve been going to the Victoria for years now and Ive never been disappointed. Great Margaritas, all of their food is fantastic. The Mexican flag enchiladas are my favorite. The owner is frequently there and shes very nice.

Very nice clean place. The food was great and the music was a great add. The adjacent oversized party room is perfect for special occasions. Definitely recommend it.

Good place. Went there for happy hour and on National Margarita day. 3.00 margaritas. Just needed more help. Took forever to get more drinks and even longer to get our tickets. But food and atmosphere was good.

Best Tex Mex in Farmers Branch & one of few worth dining at. Excellent customer service and great food. Some of best queso In the metroplex. Fresh tea anytime open. Nothing but good experiences here for well over 5 years. Brought many friends, family, clients over the years. Never had a issue with the food or staff. Clean and comfortable reclining back wood chairs.

This has become my favorite place for Tex-Mex. Food is always outstanding, servers are friendly and service is prompt.

Not good, I wont be back.could make better tex mex out of a microwave. Got my order wrong, took it back to the kitchen where it was plated again and returned to the table cold. Ordered a beer while I was waiting and it was hot when it got to the table, my finances beer was cold as well. Dont waste time or money here, not worth it

Food was good, I wish they wouldnt put the quacamole and sour cream on top of salad you cant get it all without picking up the salad. Its just my own preference to not like lettuce and arugula on my nachos. Ana was great very attentive.

We’ve been regulars here for the last few years. We have lived within walking distance and honestly it’s one of our favorite FB places to visit. Food is good, portions are generous, and the staff is always phenomenal.

Food here is delicious, authentic, recommend this place to everyone... However I went in one afternoon and seen this one chick who worked there seemed like she just wasnt feeling it, or in a mood... Even started arguing with her co worker over tables. In front of customers too, totally unprofessional. No one addressed it, just let it happen vs put a stop to it.

Very disappointed The food was okay. I enjoy the burrito I had, I is a nice restaurant but apparently the waitress there likes to take tips without having them authorize. I called to talk to the manager, but they didn’t help me to solve that issue, instead they covered their employee’s back. Very disappointed I wouldn’t never recommend this place. People can be so unreliable.

First time there tonight. The food was great, I had the three crispy tacos. It hit the spot since I was craving tacos for awhile and the caso was the best Ive had. My friend had a pina colada that looked so beautiful I cant wait to try one. And the service was fantastic. I plan on trying the buffet tomorrow. Cant wait.

Service was very good. The food tasted good. The prices were very cheap for what I got. I got chicken fajitas for a special price of $12.00. The restaurant was nearly empty but everything tasted very good. I will come here again. The Fajitas was somewhat dry in certain bites or would of given 5 stars. This is a mom and pop restaurant and I think overall they presented a very delicious meal. I would recommend.

What a nice, relaxing patio for a great happy hour--cheap, but delicious margaritas, good food and service! Definitely a hidden gem for a delightful experience now that the weather is much better for hanging out on a patio!

They tried...but this place is suffering from lack of management and staff during Covid. The food was coming out quick, but it was mostly reheats of previously made fare. Cocktails were flowing, some with no alcohol, and our poor waiter was exhausted. Ill pass the next time Im in Dallas.

This place is one of a kind. Food is excellent. Food is always warm and prepared by good cooks. Their chef always greets us when we go there.

Outstanding ! We were served within 8 minutes after we got seated had a couple beers ! Hostess and server were very friendly and courteous to us, they even changed the channel on theyre TV cuz we wanted to watch any type of sports ! Need I say more ! This is a very nice, friendly, clean, well-run, large and lively restaurant with a good variety of Mexican dishes. Good for lunch, dinner, families and large groups. Service was very fast and friendly. Food was good. Only minor gripes: they seem to have limited spicy options/sauces.

Picked up lunch two weeks in a row and had an amazing meal both times! Would highly recommend the chicken fajitas. There was enough for two people really. The tortilla soup was also fantastic. We got the large size and reheated the leftovers the next day. Everyone is always so kind and polite everytime we visit. Itll be a regular for us :)

This place is amazing! Hands down the best Mexican restaurant Ive been to! The staff was very friendly, very attentive, and made the whole experience wonderful. We came in as a larger party for my aunts retirement. They were very welcoming, and were very patient with us having several kids with us. That was just the service. The food, oh my gosh.. It was phenomenal! I admit that Im that basic white girl who cant handle a lot of spice. I have reflux thats made worse by being pregnant, so i worried about how much spice my food would have. The queso was just amazing! There was a hint of a kick, but nothing that upset my reflux. I ordered the chicken enchiladas with queso on them. So worth it! I wish i had ordered extra to go! 😂 Im not a fan of beans, so i ordered extra rice in its place. As any who eat Mexican food know, the rice is a hit or miss. Their rice was definitely a hit! My 2yo is autistic and rather picky with his food. I ordered him the chicken nuggets and fries, and he ate nearly all his food! That is big for him since nuggets that arent from McDonalds are usually not something he is interested in.In short, if youre looking for a place to eat, relax, and enjoy the company youre with, i highly recommend having your next meal here. Ill add that when we arrived, we were the only patrons. A short time after, 2 small groups came in. It was not crowded by any means, and we were all able to have conversations without any issues of not being able to hear each other.

Great food and good prices. Tasty Mexican and Tex-Mex food at reasonable prices and decent drink menu. Large portions but not too large, tasty and just the right spice levels. Curious location next to a banquet hall. Staff was professional and attentive. Great find for great Mexican food without the franchise frills or loud music and stale motifs.

The food is hands down amazing. I grew up in Harlingen, TX (down in the rio grande valley) and have been trying to find a place closer to our house for some food that makes me feel like I’m back at home, and I’ve found it. We got food to go. The enchiladas were delicious and full of flavor. We got an order of fajitas to have for the next day (which is when I’m writing this) and they were the kind that melts in your mouth. So tender and full of flavor! The accompanying sides were perfect. This is going to be one of our new favorite go to spots! Give it a try if you’re slightly curious!!!

Have been going here for years, now. First came with a coupon from a mailer. Finding this place was interesting. Met the ownerand became friends. Had our reception dinner here almost 7 years ago. Francis helped and it was a wonderful experience. We go, though not as frequently as we used to, but our experience is consistent over the years. Francis and her staff always provide great food, service and care, not to mention great pricing. One of the best places in Farmers Branch.

First time eating here. I placed an order for pick-up and my order was ready within 15 minutes during the lunch hour. The hostesses/ bartender I placed my order with was knowledge about the menu as well as parings. The prices are fair and generous portions are provided. I ordered veggie enchiladas and a side of guacamole. Im very pleased with quality of food and service.

We ducked in here when driving through DFW and encountered bad weather (small tornado in area). It was a Sunday and seemed to come in on an eclectic buffet. It wasn’t clear if they were actually open to the public or just let us join in a private function because of the weather.The food was very tasty, and the staff was friendly.

They were hosts to our High Schools Soccer Honors Banquet for the second consecutive year. The cuisine was superb. There was one dish, pork ribs that were slow cooked and the meat fell off the bone tender and lean. There was some kind of spices on them that was sweet, but not overpowering with spicy heat. I went back for more at the serving line but they were all gone. Ill never be last in line again. The enchiladas were delicious too. Not sure if I was supposed to have seconds but I went for it.The staff was really helpful and kept the tables clear for the award ceremonies. Its a happy bright place. You could definitely walk to it from the train station. Theres parking in the back too.

Really really good food. I went to the buffet this morning and was very surprised by the variety and how good it taste. The waitress was very nice and even though it was busy we were seated quickly. It is a drive for me to go there but it is so worth it and I will definitely be going back again very soon.
