Multimedia Solutions wired my house when it was built 4 years go. I have had no issues at all with anything until I plugged a Smart TV into a network port I had not used before. I spend hours trying to figure out why the TV would not connect to the network before purchasing a testing device that indicated the cable feeding it was cross-wired. Since their trucks are regularly in my neighborhood, I called and asked if someone could drop by and re-terminate the CAT6 cable (15 minute job). They said it had been too long since they did the work (out of warranty) and that it would be $185 for a service call plus labor to fix the cable. So, although I have been happy with the installation overall, I am giving them them one star for not standing behind their work and fixing a defect they created. I understand they are under no obligation to help me, but it would have been so easy for them to keep this customer happy - they declined to do so. This is poor customer service.UPDATE: I connected with Dean from Multimedia Solutions as suggested and he is scheduling someone to come out and fix my problem. I am certainly willing to pay for the repair if it turns out it was not their workmanship that caused it. Everyone deserves a second chance and other than this bump in the road, I have been very happy with the initial work they did to wire my home. Well done.

I originally gave Multimedia Solutions a two star rating. They came recommended from a trusted source, but my initial experience was disappointing. I simply felt their performance merited neither a higher rating nor my recommendation for a variety of reasons.But...After I posted that rating, they shifted into overdrive from the top of the organization down through the ranks to make things right. It was an impressive display of a culture that practices zero tolerance of poor quality in any area and that the customer experience is paramount.Everybody has a bad day. Sometimes you step up to the plate and its a swing and a miss. But, Multimedia Solutions will do whatever it takes to deliver complete customer satisfaction. Im delighted to revise my rating to 5 stars and Im now considering them for another project in my home. Theyre an impressive group.

We recently used Multimedia Solutions for our Control 4 and security system in our new home. It was a great experience! Our salesman was very helpful and thorough in providing different options to come up with exactly what we were looking for. Our technician Gabriel was very knowledgeable and helped me learn the system. We will definitely be using them for any media purchases in the future!

Multimedia solutions did my media room and control 4 home automation. Very pleased with their work. The sales rep, Mike, was a pleasure to work with. He did a great job at building a system I wanted at a price I was comfortable with. The install technician, Gabe, did an excellent job on the install and took the extra effort to make sure I understood the system and its working before he left. Very pleased and would highly recommend.

Extremely ill trained technicians who do not know what they are doing. They do not even carry a stud detector to find out if there is a stud in the wall before proceeding to work on the job. The customer is now left with wall cut outs that need to be fixed. Highly inefficient in doing their task when they do the billing at an hourly rate. Avoid them.

Just switched from my original C4 installer to Multimedia Solutions after disappointing service visits in the past. Multimedia Solutions came out and fixed all my major issues and even spent the time troubleshooting a weird sound/popping issue I had with my TVs. I have had other technicians tell me there was nothing to be done about it in the past. They were friendly and knowledgeable and I would highly recommend them. Big shout out to Evan and Chris and Joseph the design consultant.

Don’t use this company . I was telling them how to make the customer happy after being unsatisfied with their service and the issue we had . Their answer was r you going to tell me how to run the business .... that by it self being rude and after we paid them thousands dollars they want to charge $3000 more for the WiFi system and their labor .. their labor more than $150 per hour ... that’s ridiculous wish we didn’t choose them ... be careful from the nice words that got us deceived from the beginning . They are a ripoff business. bEWARE!!!!!

Professional team came to my home and did a thorough job in the midst of our post-Harvey restoration. Crew was timely and clearly understood the issues to address.

MSI was the contractor for Toll Brothers that installed my home low voltage wiring, central vacuum, and other systems. They apparently have a lot of work because any time I needed assistance I had to chase after their sales representatives. The sales rep rarely corresponded back when he promised. Their work was not high quality. They never tested the installed cables after terminating them and we found at least two that were inoperable. Their was a third wire that was cut in the attic because they pulled it too hard across a hangar hook and I had to find that problem as well. Three metal screws in three separate exterior J-boxes broke in half when we went to mount cameras. I have never seen metal screws so cheap they break in half inside a plastic J-box. The final straw was that they never delivered my central vacuum hardware. When I called and let them know, two guys showed up with the wrong hardware and just left. It took another team to finally deliver the correct hardware and show us how it worked. I would not recommend MSI unless their customer service and the quality of their work improves.

I have been using this company for several years. They always provide excellent service and their staff is knowledgeable. I highly recommend you give this company a call.

I wish I can give less than 1 star for this bad company. They installed a control 4 system at my home and in less than a year I had the system malfunction and they came to fix it and still didn’t work. Their customer service is the worst. They even tell you to buy more stuff from them to fix a simple issue and that’s why I was told by another company that I got a second opinion from. When I went there their owner was on vacation and didn’t bother to talk to a customer who spent 10,000 dollars on their equipment and poor service. So enjoy your vacation and I am taking my business and future referrals somewhere else!!!In response to the owner.1- we requested a second opinion from another company and the control 4 system expert told us that you don’t have to install an araknis WiFi system for the remote to work. He suspected that it is a hardware (remote) issue or programming issue. He will be coming to our house to fix it. So we really don’t have to buy a 3000 dollar network from you guys to make it work. He also offered the same network for 2000 if needed.2- you only told us to purchase this built in WiFi network after the fact. Otherwise you would have mandate it from day one. You can’t sell a customer a car and tell him the steering wheel is optional!!!3- their customer service was exceptional and to learn from unlike your manager who wanted to show me the door when I told him I am upset about you guys being not being responsive. Anyway lesson Learned. Won’t be recommending you guys to anyone else.4- your sales person wouldn’t listen to the customer from day one. He just wanted to sell us the max equipment possible even though we didn’t really need it. You should really tailor the sale of equipment to the customer needs not your profit margin and sales figures.5- I once went to a Porsche dealership to buy a car and the sales person didn’t give me enough attention cause he thought I was young then and to him didn’t seem like a serious sale. I left and before I leave he asked me about my job. I told him but didn’t turn back and went to buy from Mercedes Benz dealership that same day. Don’t always judge a book by its cover and that’s another lesson for you guys. We had few friends who are building new homes and we could have sent them your way if your treatment was different.

Horrible service. Our representative RUSHED us through our choices, never responded to our requests to clarify the work and ultimately did a terrible job. Another agent of the company gave us a bid on home security and never followed up. I definitely would never use them again.

John and the team gave our 11 year old Media room a full refresh, from moving the AV location to a new spot to new wire in the walls, new screen, projector install, new Denon receiver, installation of Bowers and Wilkins side, rear and atmos, 2 subs, Martin Logan center, and even figured out how to keep the old Magneplanars in the system! Job well done! Ready for them to come back and do the living room. Thank you!

MSI did a great job on a full multimedia install including 7.1 surround system with custom Triad speakers, 3 TVs, blu-ray, satellite, Apple TV, AV receiver(s) etc. for indoor/outdoor use in the entertainment area of our home. They also installed a whole-home wi-fi network system with several access points throughout the property with great signal strength anywhere you go including the pool area. Highly recommend MSI for home entertainment install needs. From the beginning the owner John and his manager Mike was on top of our needs and made great recommendations through the install to ensure a great end-product. Great install crew(s) as well, they certainly know their business. Well use MSI again for future home entertainment/utility needs.

During the renovation of our house in 2015, we used Multimedia solutions at the direction of our architect and project manager. They installed updated security systems (Honeywell system with all windows, doors, motion, glass breakers and video), wifi (inside and outside), TVs and sound.There were challenges throughout the project, such as wifi set up incorrectly, products ordered incorrectly, and installers showing up at the wrong times, etc. but the main issue with Multimedia is that their security team is incompetent and unprofessional.It took multiple conversations and visits to get the basic security system to function. Almost a year later, the cameras are still not set at angles where anything can be detected. The monitoring service sometimes does not call when an alarm goes off or if they do, it is several minutes after the alarm. Following a recent theft outside the house, the security team has not returned calls (several days later) to sort the camera angles.This is one of the first public reviews of a company Ive ever written but Ive had such a terrible experience and home security is such an important topic that I dont want anyone to waste the time, money or energy that I wasted with Multimedia.

What a useless security system when you cannot hear a thing!We complained to TollBrother and multimedia after we found outThey refused to fix anything after they cashed our money and didnt even care what salesman lied to us .After We told you why we needed cameras to this sales person at the meeting you installed Nanny cams with NO SOUND!? Honestly, I am shocked by these reviews. I have used and referred this company multiple times and never heard anything but appraisal. They took care of everything I needed and treated me like family!

Expensive, unresponsive, unwilling to help find alternative solutions, altogether unpleasant to deal with, except for maybe one or two technicians who are nice and helpful, if you can get them to come and if you are willing to pay a mint just for a visit.

This group helped me set up my dream media room! They worked with me like I was family and I couldn’t recommend them more.
