Orv was always fair and did a wonderful job. Took the time to explain the repairs and dos and dont with the machine. We took our machines to him for many years.
Orv has passed away but his son continues the business. Wouldn’t dream of taking any of my machines anyplace else. If Mulder’s can’t take care of it nobody can.
Please be warned. I don’t say this lightly: I think he is senile. If he is not senile then he is dishonest. If you call him, be ready for a 20 minute monologue on how great he is.Know that when he says he will “look the machine over and give you a quote and if you don’t like it we walk away as friends with a handshake.” What he REALLY means is: He will meet you in a parking lot at a diner like some shady deal is going down, take your machine, not contact you for three weeks, start “working” on the machine without a quote, tell you he needs $250 to give the machine back and then try to make you sign an illegible note that you won’t sue him if the machine burns your house down. In hindsight I wonder if it would have been prudent to call a bomb-squad to see if he booby-trapped the machine or something.I’m not lying... when I met him in the same parking lot to get my machine back and drove away he was STILL yelling at me, calling me a cheat for not paying him (he admitted he didn’t do anything to the machine) and telling me the most awkward “go to hell” I think I’ve ever heard.... I never did get my “handshake”
