Its awful. Staff is lazy and under trained. Doesnt matter if they know your doing well. They will do anything to keep you down. Prison was way better!

Staff has a job to do I more than understand this. But with all due respect the people at the counter that check in guests act as if the guests are the trouble makers the give you no respect and arent pleasant at all. The least they could do is try to at least enter information into the system at all let alone correctly so the the one and only person (me) that comes to see a particular person doesnt need to be approved three weeks in a row. Maybe a smile on the faces of the front desk staff for guests I mean would be a mild improvement.

Katie, the lady that answered the phone for me, multiple times, stated she would let my boyfriend know I called (the first time). Second time I called, she stated the same the same thing once again. Third time I called (within the 1/2 hour because he had to work and I hadn’t heard from him in over 12 hrs), she stated she is not a secretary and won’t be getting up from her desk to do anything extra asked of her. To me, this is highly unprofessional and really lacks in the communication skills within this facility. Disgusting if you ask me. They have no intention of helping the people in the halfway house, only getting their paycheck. Really shows what this facility is about.

Transitionimg here is hard to do in life. They do well with the housing and some food but as with sleeping and treatments and the communication between staff and case management. Along with not helping with job searching and no internet or classes on how to interview or job training they lack horribly. A complete reassesment of this place in order to rehabilitate and slow transition to society more training to staff to help deal with P.T.S.D. and how to treat residents with proactive and positive affirmation. And encourage the resident to change with rides to meetings and to look at or for work..

Hear people complain from both sides of things about this place. If youre a potential employer, these people in Centre will quickly show you one of two things; either theyre poor workers with general matching habits and attitudes mentally predispositioned on going back to lock up, or they will be dilligent, responsible, and perform beyond expectations consistantly. Please note, if they are the 2nd mentioned, they will likely encounter some form of disruption while transitioning through. DO NOT IMMEDIATELY PULL THE PLUG!

Staff waits until 9-10pm to conduct fire drills saying they must follow procedures and patients should as well. Why not orcastrate the alarm when times are appropriate and if someone is asleep just let them sleep they deserve their slumber. Yet staff will blast fire alarms, run thru rooms yelling at patients who are asleep. This causes mass confusion and is uncomfortable, uncalled for and has a negative impact on people in general. Staff then encounter unnecessary conflictsamong patients leading to the dismissals of those who may react with hostility over natural health concerns, risks as well as potential violence among staff and patients. Helping addiction, mental health issues and other physiological problems shouldnt include lessening the chance of an individuals recovery. Exposure to any number of situations that could accurately occur in the future will help individuals in the recovery process. Every human is different in that we respond to situations differently based on any number of factors including chemical imbances, anger, PTSD, depression, anxiety to name a few. The staff are not trained in most of these areas of expertise but hold no responsibility of showing empathy towards the individuals that are doing their best putting in the work needed to transcend into the community. Unfortunately at Centre some individuals are treated with unprofessional care. To endure hardships provoked by staff. State and Federal Paroles are treated differently. Federal individuals are allowed phones with internet access. State are not and run the risk of violating such an unusual regulation. Food is very generous as well as the kitchen workers. Left out is a hott breakfast which should be included 3-5 days per week. Not many programs for the new residents who cannot leave for the first 48 hrs. Leaving the individual with no resources oftentimes. Families visit The individual who isnt from the state has no way of see his family via video TV or by other means. Cleaning is essential there and the overall quality of cleaning is good. Beds are uncomfortable and living in a facility where 10 guys share a bathroom is rediculious. Can help if u stay away from the ones who disregard all aspects of the treatment
