Can we talk about WHY they close at 7 on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday? I have 2 kids and on ALL 3 of those days the only times I can finally get out of my house and go to the gym is after 6pm when my fiancé is off of work. It is so disappointing and incredibly frustrating that I’m paying $20 a month for a gym that I can apparently only get use out of 4 days a week. Closing at 7pm is just ridiculous. If they even pushed it out to 10pm I’d be able to utilize my membership 3 more days a week. The early closing is going to force me to have to seek a different membership with more open hours- which seems insane to me because planet fitness used to be the 24/7 gym that could accommodate anyone! I’m so sad and irritated about this. Bring back 10pm closing!

Ive been to dozens of planet fitness locations and this one has the absolute worst shower experience hands down. 3 times I was scorched! The shower curtains are WAY too narrow!! The draft pushed the curtain in twords you and gets stuck to your wet skin thus exposing your naked body to anyone near by. I have never felt so burned and exposed in a planet fitness. Pretty pathetic skimping out on shower curtains and proper plumbing. 👎 oh and the smaller changing stall lock doesnt line up properly so that doesnt lock either.

Good equipment, decent staff, and open 24 hours so I can avoid other members and usually have the place to myself (in the EARLY a.m.). The Hydro Beds are great after a good workout!

Great club with amazing and helpful staff. They were friendly and jumped to assist the second I walked through the doors. The club was clean and the guests were friendly.

It doesnt matter which town your visiting the quality of the gym is the same and sometimes its better. Great job Fargo.

I dont like that Planet Fitness does not send out a reminder when they are charging annual fee! Im searching other options where you just pay a monthly fee. I think the annual fee is to make their monthly rates look lower than they are!

I love my gym and gold membership however I just wish when there were deals going on our membership prices would reflect as well

I have experienced nothing short of the best from the staff, fellow customers, & the equipment in/at this facility. I haven’t utilized any of my black card amenities yet, however I assume all of the therapeutic modules work wonders as well. Thank you, 11/10.

Went to PF for the first time and it was a good visit! Awesome staff, plenty of machines even when it was busy n social distancing in effect. Excited for my next trip to the gym.

Not as spacious as my home gym, but gets the job done for a travel nurse.

In the age of Covid, I certainly get that companies are not always responsible for enforcing their Covid policies, or that of the local area; but if you have any concerns, just find somewhere else to go or wear a mask the entire time.1-in-4 wear a mask when they are supposed to be (in between equipment as advertised), but the other 3-in-4 cant be bothered to bring theirs outside the locker room.

Good basic gym...lots of different machines/weights. Very clean and friendly.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My fiancé went in to cancel our membership back in August. We have been getting charged monthly since August. Even after multiple phone calls requesting a refund and that we stop getting charged, nothing has been done. I was today informed that the account was never cancelled even though he physically went into the gym and signed off on the cancellation. We now have almost $100 that they are refusing to give back. Horrible! Would not recommend.

This gym tries hard to pander to the casual crowd, which isnt a bad thing in itself, except they go so far as to almost shame a more hardcore mentality with sayings like dont be a lunk on the wall, etc. I guess a better way to sum it up is that they try so hard to be inclusive, they are excluding a large demographic of people who love to lift.

Simple and low cost for basic membership at $10.00 a month with a small maintenance fee less than $30.00 a year.

I ran 1 mile and half last night plus walked mile. I been eating so much with this pandemic being home. I got start somewhere.

Don’t appreciate being lied to when I first signed up. Asked the young lady do they offer corporate discounts she told me no. I find out you all do. Employees stay in their phones. Do not acknowledge guest at all. I prefer the Moorhead location staff are always Respectful, acknowledge guest and clean the machines unlike Fargo location staff just sit down and be in their Phones or hardly behind the desk.

Water fountains were out of order. Staff was friendly.

Cardio focused with lots of treadmills, ellipticals, & bikes. There is enough equipment to weight train. Tanning, and massage is available if you level up. No pool, racquetball or fitness classes that I am aware of

Went in around 10am not busy so able to relax and get some exercise. Felt good. Place was clean

Where do I begin ...leaking roof when it rains, I have come to the gym and half the machines arent working due to the electrical issues, the place is dirty, equipment could use an update and staff is hit or miss. You get what you pay for - I will pay a little more for quality. This place is hardly judgement free, when you face harassment at the door for not wearing a mask. The final straw was the employee threatening to call the cops to have me removed because of their mask rule. It makes absolutely no sense that you are forced to wear a mask for the 15ft walk in the door, but are free to take it off while working out and free to leave it off as you walk out the door. I saw several people exit with out masks that did not get threatened. I will take my business where my personal rights are respected as a customer.

Went here when the Moorhead location closed for a bit. Staff is always friendly and the location is very clean!

Awesome my first time in a fitness club and I really enjoyed it!

I was charged a fee without any notification and when I asked why, the rep was less than helpful. I canceled my membership and was not offered a refund for the charge.

I love planet fitness! My favorite part about it is that you can use it in any city. The Fargo location does have the black card spa, however, unlike other locations, it is not blocked off by black curtains. That would make it more private. In addition, I’ve noticed that all of the TVs have labels underneath except for the MSNBC channels. I realize that this state is primarily “red”, however, it’s tacky to not have those up. Do not discriminate, PF. Other than those two things, I love being a member. It’s affordable and welcoming.

Was going good at first then third or fourth visit when I scanned my card a loud speaker screamed out for the world to heat CHECK STATUS BLA BLA CHECK STATUS how embarrassing on my third day wow. Then every day after some mgr from out of state drilled my son and I for our info every time we arrived like we were doing something wrong ... bummer...and the water cooler dispenser water always room temp at best . All of the staff seemed pleasant and helpful gym was clean

Been a off and on active member since the gym originally opened. The staff is very friendly along with being a clean environment. Been a member of other gyms over the years and still the best deal for your money and has the best equipment.

Would rank 5 stars if the hours were less all over the place. Good gym for the price. Kind of bummed they dont have scales in the bathrooms so i can measure my progress but to each their own.

Less people in the gym and most everyone had masks on when not actively working out. Equipment is spaced out and nice to see everyone being thorough in their cleaning after use.

Awesome place. Friendly staff. Cross section of all types of people, college age to elderly, extremely obese to extremely fit, but mostly just average everyday people getting and staying healthy. As their slogan says, its a judgment free zone.

Not at all what Im used to in a planet fitness. Feels cramped with weight machines along side of a walk way. Clear out some of those treadmills and open it up.

Planet fitness is great for starters/intermediate people who are looking to get a jump start into the fitness life! Its got all your basics, and the staff is very helpful!

Working out always been an option for me but did not know where to go, until I found Planet Fitness. I have been feeling lower back pain but with my workout, it going away. There are many exercise materials with video description. I got up every morning feeling more good (healthier) then tire in my body. Lol my wife even loving my look.

Wish they had better equipment. Great price though. Cant complain.

Great price, decent machines, good selection of free weights and they have a print out of their peek hours so I can plan my workouts.

Most planet fitness gyms are pretty much the same, some are bigger than others. I feel this location has the right size and feel, enough room for a large number of people to workout but not feeling claustrophobic. I have not yet utilized the trainer yet but I feel staff there are always willing to help members, very knowledgeable of the ins and outs of to gym.

Great environment, great equipment, and the staff is very friendly. It is a good place to start your fitness journey or continue on with your current regimen.

Air ventilation is so bad

Like the deals at this place, the amenities of being a black card member ($20/mo and contract option) allows you to bring a friend every time for free, use tanning beds (stand-up or lay down), aqua massage beds, and massage chairs. Theres a no contract $10/mo option as well. They have really good hours and a variety of machines to use :)

I like the old equipment better. It seemed more effective and in some cases more useful. The Moorhead location started with new equipment. I tried them out but after visiting both, I found that I liked the Fargo location better with the older equipment. I guess not all machines but the ones I used the most.

Had the opportunity to use the facility in Fargo the last few days young Zach is a true credit to the business extraordinairily friendly went above and beyond to make sure that I was accommodated good people Ill be back. Maybe young Zack will have his own franchise one day he deserves it he understands how to take care of people

Love the Fargo area, and planet fitness is such a great place to get your workout on anytime of the week.

Super friendly staff, plenty of machines so theres always one available, very clean. Plenty of options like free classes, specific areas to do circuit training, stretching, weight lifting, tanning, massage options and many types of elliptical, gliders, stair steppers and treadmills. Great gym.

I just wish there was a Planet Fitness closer to where I live in West Fargo.

Absolutely loved... Never had to wait for my turn... They had enough machines... The squat/benchpress section is great...

Great facility only thing missing is an area to stretch, do pushups, sit ups, etc.. and bench press without supports and squats without supports.

You get what you pay for it’s a supplemental gym for me so I only go for cardio, the free weights are decent but not amazing. The only reason for four stars is the parking lot is a hot mess, in the winter it’s a lawless place. Also there’s no lights which can give it a creepy vibe, especially if you’re a solo female walking to your car at night.

I travel for work and this Planet Fitness locations offered a fair price to be able to workout 3-4 days in a week at their facility.

They had lots of options for you to choose from. It was good environment you didnt feel like you had to compare yourself. The only thing I didnt like was the things you used to disinfect the equimpent after use was not the best ones to use but that isnt that big of a deal because it still gets the work done.

Always friendly staff and truthfully a no judgment place to workout.

I have been going to this gym for a couple years now. My experience has been a good one for the most part, however the locker rooms have become very dirty. Sweeping is very lacking. The floors are always covered in toilet paper, lots of dust, hair and dirt. Actually thinking about switching gyms due to the lack of cleanliness.

I have been going to this gym for several years. I have always been impressed with how clean it is and how friendly the help are. There is plenty of equipment and I have never had trouble finding a machine to work on. I dont know where else I could get this kind of workout for $10.00 a month! I dont want a pool so Im happy I dont have to pay for something I would never use like I need to at other gyms.

Its nice, a great place to work out, tan, etc but they didnt tell me I couldnt keep my stuff there over night I bought a lock and they snipped it off other then that its an alright place

Nice that they keep it clean. Equipment and lock rooms are never gross. Staff is helpful and and polite whenever you need assistance
