You can not call this place as they took the phones out. Must get appointment on line or in person. Yet the staff are using their personal phones to check on info about product in the store. If you need work on a computer that is not listed in the computer they tell you to modify an appointment. Somehow changing an internal battery is not listed.

Brought my laptop to bestbuy, guy at costumer service said that he can swap my laptop out with a new one due to me having full warranty, told him I didn’t have the charger so I be back with that when I can. About 1 week later I go to customer service and they send me to geek squad to get my laptop repaired. The first guy I was talking to was super nice, think he lacked basic tech skills but don’t think he needs any when he is just managing the customers. Asked him if he needs my charger with the laptop when they ship it to get fixed, the first guy said yes because my full warranty covers it and they will inspect to make sure it’s okay and if it’s not they will repair/trade it. Guy number 2 comes and takes over helping me fill the rest of my info. He tells me that I will have my comp back anywhere from 24th to 26th due to Covid. I should tell you I was here on the 10th of February. I said okay because I understand a bit. Guy takes my laptop tells me to keep my charger because “the people have a tendency to steal them” not sure what that meant. It’s now the 5th of may and I called them up on the 2nd where my computer is the girl who helped me was super nice. She called geek squad and asked and they told her they got the part in on the 22nd and they will repair it soon and call me when it’s done. Just poor customer service (exempt the girl on the phone), terrible time on a simple fix of a comp. which was just fixing three keys, keyboard at most, lastly lack of communication and everyone saying thing else. If you buy a comp and need it to get fixed DO NOT take it to geek squad. They don’t know what they really doing. Take it someone local and they will be able to fix it a lot faster for you, possibly even cheaper if you don’t have full warranty. Save yourself the trouble and waiting.
The person didn’t use a nice tone of voice and screwed a couple things up on the paperwork and I didn’t realize until I got home so the stuff I needed fixed might not get fixed
We bought our unlocked phones through best buy. Was advised we would have everything covered under our warranty on them and never given a time this would expire. Call today regarding my warranty and was advised it was only a 1 year warranty amd refuse to do anything. Very unhappy with the services as we would have not gone for a 1 year warranty on a cell phone.
Never again! After dropping off my computer and spending $99 for them to look at it, I was called by them and was told I needed a new motherboard and more RAM. they didnt give me a price yet claimed they spent a couple of hours looking at it. The phone call sounded fishy to me so I went to pick up computer back up from them. Because I didnt have an appointment, I had to wait. Once my time came up, the counter person restated what the called the day before told me. He said they dont make my motherboard anymore so Id have to buy a new, more powerful one. I asked what model of board I had and he couldnt tell me. I took my computer and left. I dropped it off at the Computer Wrench who charged me $60 to give me a new RAM chip and fix a sticky reset button. Now my computer works great no thanks to the Geek Squad.
Bought a new computer, had them set it up, fine. Got there to pick it up, it locks up after waiting 45 minutes for them to find it and another 20 minutes to have them start setting it up. Live out of town so now even though it never left the store, have to exchange it then wait for them to set up a new one. Still waiting after 3 hours. All I can say is I expected more from an electronics store.
OMG, that was the most painful phone call Ive ever made. Super confusing menus, no easy way to reach a receptionist. Never did actually get to the right person because no one knew what was going on.The reason I called was because they have refused to cancel a phone protection plan on a phone that I traded back to them 2 months ago. The Best Buy employee walked me over to Geek Squad and they said yes, we have cancelled that service for you now the person on the phone said they cant do that.... on top of that there will be no refund for the service even though it was their mistake. When I asked for a manager I was told they dont have managers and then they hung up on me.Ive managed customer service centers in the cell phone industry in the past. If one of MY agents would have done this they would have been fired instantly. No questions asked.On top of that the audibility of the agent was awful. I kept telling her I couldnt understand her but she kept talking over me. Id rate a zero star if possible.
Overpriced yes, however the service I was given was fantastic and they were happy to work with me. I have a warranty on my laptop so I get free repairs and upgrades. Every time I go in they are eager to help and love talking tech with the customer. Thanks guys
They answered my question. They were honest as where the parts will come from the manufacturer of my laptop
I went to Best Buy to pick up my camera from a repair, and they didnt allow me to do so unless I scheduled a time to pick it up ahead of time. This new system is terrible as it prevents anyone from stopping in to pick up something unless you plan for it hours or days ahead of time. After buying 12 cameras over the last 5 years I am now taking my business elsewhere. No flexibility to help customers! My experience was awful!
Wow. The worst customer service I have ever experienced with a tech question. Undoubtedly I will never bring in my device here nor recommend geek squad to anyone I know.
My 11 y/o son had gotten new headphones with a mic for his older computer. They werent working right and after some digging around, I suspected it was a setting I didnt know how to access. We went into the Geek Squad and even though we did not have an appointment, #Mason said he would see us. We sat down with him and he treated my son like an adult, was patient, kind and understanding. By the time we had gotten things set up correctly, my son wanted to work for the Geek Squad. We were not CHARGED for this service and my son was ecstatic. And by the way...Mason had already been done with his shift! GIVE THIS GUY A RAISE!
They are very good at what they do.
They suck. I called to get a quote for a broken screen repair. It took 10 min to get a real person to speak to and once I finally got ahold of someone he was rude and hung up on me.
Audio department trashed my backseat with an amp installment drilled holes through the center flip down counsel of the back seat. Pathetic
