Paralyzed. That’s how I felt. I knew that I was “supposed to be” doing all of these things to grow my business – post 7 times a day on every social media site, gain followers, pay for ads, “be the expert,” improve SEO, provide value (what does that even mean??????), create a lead magnet and use that to stay in contact with your potential customers. PHEW! Where is the brake pedal?I’d already had moderate success, but to make my business sustainable, I needed to make some changes. When I scheduled time to sit down and work on my business, I would just post a few social media posts, write up the title or outline for a blog post, pour some coffee, then decide that I would rather be spending this time working on a new certification and abandon my marketing plans.
