To say Bonilla is impressive is an understatement. Im a new home owner, and havent dealt with many contractors so far, but I hope they all demonstrate the level of professionalism and promptness that Bonilla does.I had some damage to my roof from some severe storms, and needed a large limb and other debris removed from my roof and around my yard. I called Bonilla, and miraculously they were in the neighborhood, so their estimator popped over. Within 10 minutes of calling, Bonilla had estimated and ordered the work. Within 20 minutes of the order, there was a full crew with wood chipper in my driveway. And within 20 minutes of that, all of my tree issues were taken care of. Seriously, one hour from start to finish.They took great care in cleaning up the area after they were done. They were all extremely courteous and professional, and even went above and beyond by offering to staple some plastic to my roof as a temporary solution for any leaks.I highly recommend this hard working crew.

We had a large tree split down the middle during a storm. We called three companies for estimates, and Bonilla Tree Service was the best combination of customer service (Karen was SO NICE on the phone), timing (they came out that day to complete the tree removal), and price (they were competitive with another company that initially said they couldnt schedule us for several weeks). The crew did a great job removing the tree without damaging our home, lawn, or landscaping. The clean-up was beyond what we expected. Wed recommend them, without hesitation, if youre in Northern VA!

One of the joys of home ownership is the tree work that is forced upon us from time to time. I had dead and dying limbs overhanging a driveway which meant that the driveway was no longer a safe place to park my car. Had no cozy relationship with any tree service company so went to google, where I was overwhelmed by the selection. I decided to cut through the chaos by applying the following highly personal and somewhat idiosyncratic filter: which company has the nicest sounding name? The answer, it seemed to me, was Bonilla Tree Service. So I went with them and by some miracle my peculiar way of narrowing the field turned out to be an excellent way to filter because I am very pleased by the work that Bonilla did for me. Once they got started I realized that this job was more complicated than I thought it would be, involving two big trucks, a lift, a chipper, and a crew of 6 working for 4 hours. Considering all that I got, for what I paid, I think I did very well. Three big trees were worked on and when the cutting was complete a thorough and meticulous clean up started. When Bonilla left, my yard was in better shape than before they got here. Yes I would use them again and I would be comfortable advising anyone in need of tree work to contact them. What’s in a name? A lot, apparently.

They did a great job trimming trees on our property. They did exactly what they say would do in their estimate. Extremely professional and didnt leave until we were satisfied with their services. Excellent cleanup! I would not hesitate to recommend this company and will continue to use them for any future needs.

Have known Bonilla family for many years from neighborhood homes, and we value their friendship and their efficient work - on every tree issue - very highly. They removed a 30-year old oak tree this Monday within three hours to our complete satisfaction with crew of four. Plus they removed all branches and limbs virtually completely including raking front yard of small twigs and sawdust as possible. Highly, highly recommend them. The people at Bonilla Tree Service trimmed a 20+ year old cherry tree. They were very professional, they did a great job, and all were a pleasure to deal with. We will be hiring them again.

We contacted Bonilla Tree service because of their ratings in Checkbook Magazine and Google. Efrain came out and gave us an estimate for fall tree trimming. The estimate was very reasonable and we had the work completed in November 2020. Julio and his crew were amazing. They were very polite, respectful, knowledgeable and extremely efficient. We were so impressed by how our trees looked when they were finished. Our neighbor said she didnt even know they were here because they were so quiet. They cleaned up the yard so that there was not a leaf left in it. We hired them again in February 2021 to remove a dead tree on the property line between us a neighbor. Julio and crew came out again and removed the tree. We saw the same level of service this time and in addition, they took great care to make sure that there was not impact on the neighbors yard. Karen, in the main office, is very responsive and communicated with us several times for each job. They are a family owned company who has the highest work ethic. If you want a quality experience, we would HIGHLY recommend Bonilla Tree Service.

A bit of a story for you. Last Thursday I went directly from work to go out shopping and have some dinner. Then, as I was driving down my street, by now around 10 PM, I noticed a man walking toward me waving his arms. Soon I found out why. A tree had fallen across the street and was blocking any vehicular progress. I tried to determine whose tree it was, and as I recognized one of my neighbors’ houses, started to have a an uneasy feeling. I drove around the block and confirmed that it was indeed one of my trees, the one right alongside my driveway. It was broken at the base, and most of it stretched all the way across the street.Amazingly the tree had brushed the powerlines across the street and did not break them. Shortly after I got home, a man from VDOT arrived and started surveying the damage. He said that he would have a crew out within an hour to clear the tree from the street.The next morning I found that the VDOT crew had cut the tree into sections and had put them in my front yard, overlapping the sidewalk. Knowing from past experience that it was up to me to dispose of the tree, I called the tree service that had helped me years ago when a large branch had broken from the tree in my backyard due to the derecho. Julio and Karen of Bonilla Tree Service arrived to survey the situation within a half hour of my call to them, and gave me an estimate within another hour.Even though the there were many jobs out there for this company to take care of, they had completely cleaned up the tree in my yard by Friday evening.

The first moment I requested a inquiry they were quick in responding and got out to my location quickly gave me a great price and they are very competitive with prices. They did an excellent job and were quick and efficient. Went above and beyond in service would highly recommend.

Bonilla Tree Service trimmed some trees on my property and I couldnt be happier with the result. I got three estimates and they were the most reasonable. Dominic and the crew all wore masks and worked great together as a crew. They completed all of the work that was necessary and cleaned up after themselves perfectly.
