Phenomenal experience. I dont get my nails done super often but I asked for paint, picked my color, and was surprised at the level of attention to detail I received. The staff really care about how you feel during, I heard multiple conversations going on with stylists and clients around me catching up because the stylists actually retain stories and interact with you, asking for updates about peoples trips and work. We were offered drinks during the manicure and prices were incredibly reasonable, designs were offered and they can do pretty much anything.My friend got her nails done in Georgia for her proposal and got them redone up here while I got mine done and she has been elated ever since. I am really happy to have found a salon that does a great job, is transparent about pricing, and talks instead of having awkward silence.

Holy smokes Kate was amazing! I came in with a terrible French manicure job from a different location. Im getting engagement photos done next week and was in desperate need of help. I showed Kate a picture of what I wanted and wow! She made my nails look amazing! Im so happy with them as is my fiance. Cant wait to see how the photos turn out with these gorgeous nails!

Best salon to get a pedicure in my opinion. They are always on time for appointments, they are thorough, reasonably priced, and the leg and foot massage is the best.

This place is amazing. I saw Kim and she went above and beyond. I had waxing and a pedicure done and it was the best I have ever had. I highly recommend her.

My technician was very nice. I absolutely love my French nails! I notice how they wipe down the chairs after each customer. I feel very safe with the precautions they take to prevent the spread of Covid-19. The salon is very spacious. would come again!

They did such a good job and were so patient. I got acrylic tips for the first time and I love them!! They also put lotion on my hands that still smells so good!!

Kate does a great job with SNS powder manicures. This is the only place I go for SNS because Ive seen how other places can mess them up! Also, reasonable prices. Only wish it was easier to book online!

This was my second visit with Kate and Im thoroughly impressed with her talents! Im always greeted and offered water upon my arrival. Great customer service, especially at nail salons is hard to find. I live in Alexandria and found this place after testing at the prometric close by. Its a little far but definitely worth the hike. Kate is the best!

I love this place! I go here almost every week actually. Everyone here is extremely friendly, cautious and caring of theirs customers needs. Kate is so talented and skilled when it comes to SNS nails. They last for SO LONG!! Once, after my nail chipped, they repaired my nails for me for free. Extremely kind and spacious.

I had been going to this salon for a year and at my last appointment, I was ten minutes late and received the rudest text message from my technician, Kate, saying how she was not paid by the hour and how I was wasting her time and money. After spending almost $2500 and being 10 minutes late.. I will not return to this salon. I sent her a text stating that she was rude and that I will be leaving a review and that I was in customer service and this is not how customers are supposed to be treated...no response. I guess the salon doesn’t need my business or yours.

Ive been going to this shop for a few years now, I really appreciate the attention and care shown to me by my chosen technician My, she gives the best pedicures. I also see Kate for my acrylic nails. For the most part I am able to work within the appointments they have available. Other times I have to go twice in one week, but the technicians are usually able to accommodate my pedicure and gel acrylic on the same day.

This is exactly the type of establishment I like to patronize; local people running a family business. The employees are stable, everyone is friendly. The salon has a large pool of regular customers, who are recognized by name when they come in. I do not do pedicures, but they have always done a great job with my manicures. My nails always look good (I am always getting compliments),the service is efficient, and they are reasonably priced.

It was the only salon that didnt have a wait time. I really needed my toes done for an event. I think my personal tech was in a rush, so I didnt get full treatment. But overall, cant complain.

Fantastic Nail and Spa Salon. Customer service is superb. I have been a client for 8 years. Renovations, under new management, have been executed beautifully. Decor is lovely and environment & gentle music is ever so soft and peaceful. I have a pedicure, manicure, and waxing every 3-4 weeks. With every visit, I have felt pampered, relaxed, and totally thrilled with services rendered. As a nurse, I am particularly impressed with the cleanliness of the salon, coupled with strict procedure protocols on behalf of each associate. The Owner/Manager ensures quality in practice and professionalism. 🌺

Best nail salon in this area! I have been using this nail salon for more than 5 years. It’s clean, big and airy. I usually get pedicure there. Even with the basic pedicure, I felt well taken care of each time and enjoyed the friendly and relaxing atmosphere. They use high quality nail color and base. The basic pedicure can last for over a month without chipping. Would highly recommend!

I have been coming to Aislinn since they opened over 7 years ago and have always had good experiences. I never make an appointment and never have to wait. The technicians are pleasant and do a great job! I highly recommend this salon.

I only went to this place because my usual nail salon is currently closed. They charged me $65 for a gel fullset and by the time i got home I realized I had not only 1 but 2 broken nails! How is it that you charge so much but my nails didnt even last a whole 24 hours before breaking? I didnt hit my nails on anything for them to even break. I am very disappointed with this place I dont want to go back to them ever again!

I love this shop! Lisa is my nail tech, but everyone is very friendly in the shop. I love to see the owner take clients when they get busy. She and her staff are definitely dedicated to making the customers experience great always!

First timer with appointment. My technician saw another client come in, decided she wanted that client midway through the shaping portion of my manicure. The new technician started shaping my nails differently than what I wanted and communicated to the first technician. My nails are a disaster but at least it will grow out. The color is nice which is why I gave it two stars.I’m not likely to go back.

I have been a client of Aislinn Nails and Spa for 6 years, and with Amy for the last 4 years. I visit the spa weekly for manicures and am greeted by name by all technicians when I arrive. Everyone is friendly and helpful, and I very much appreciate the atmosphere, clean environment and soft music. My experiences there are always relaxing and my nails have never been healthier nor looked better. Thank you!

I have been going to Aislinn Spa for a few years and had been, overall satisfied. I recently had one technician who did my pink and white nails and noticed they were lifting within the first week. I requested to have another technician then next visit and she did a lovely job on my nails but she filed the top corners of my fingers to try to pull the nail from my skin and she cut 4 of my fingers with small cuts. It hurt for over a week. I went back to get a fill and ended out using her again since she was one of the few technicians that did the pink and white. She cut me again 4 more times. I was nice to her, tipped her but decided to call the owner, Jenny. I left her 2 messages within the week. The second time I called, I spoke with the receptionist who speaks excellent English and told her why I wanted to speak with Jenny. Jenny was due to come in that afternoon and she promised she would call me back. I never heard from her. Im very disappointed as I have been a steady customer and now feel that I have to find a new spa. I am not going to have pain for a week after a nail treatment and I think Jenny should have called me. Its too bad but there are plenty of other services out there.Im afraid Im done with Aislinn Nails and Spa.

I was there 2 hours and left very displeased. I showed the nail tech a picture of a nail design I wanted done and gave her my phone so she could view it and zoom in if needed. I told her it didnt have to be exactly the same just similar. The design had a french base with gold accent lines and little splash of color. She started with the french base and it looked terrible. Not only did the polish not cover my entire nail, but the white was so thick and uneven. I didnt say anything because sometimes things dont look right at first but it ends up looking beautiful. Well, this was not the case. She then completed one nail in which she described was like the picture. My nail looked like my toddler got a hold of it. It was beyond laughable. I told her specifically what was wrong with it and she tried again and again and again. Eventually, I just told her it wasnt working out and to just remove everything. After washing my hands, I asked the nail tech to do a regular shellac manicure and explained I wanted the polish to cover my entire nail. I usually do french but settled on one color based on her previous work. The boss walks over and speaks to her for awhile in Vietnamese (I have no idea what theyre saying). Then the boss lady says to me in English that my nail is too short to do the design and that if I grow my nails then they could do it. Right! Blame the Customer after the nail tech stated she could do the design and tried for 1.5 hours. Somehow I doubt that nail tech could do ANY design. So I left with a regular shellac manicure that looked a week old because the polish didnt cover my entire nail and was charged full price. Wow. Never will I go there again. Not only was the work horrific but to have management actually blame ME for their poor quality was unimaginable.

Experience here was more than 1 year ago and first posted w/yahoo. The setting was pleasant. This place was/is not always okay. It was OFF the BEATEN path for me. The service looked okay but my heels took two years to recover and still too much skin on my heels. I usually only go to resort spas. Not sure what they have in their foot cream but it was not good for my skin. I would like to cultivate places like this on MARS. I drove there and back. Hind sight it seems this place is either a social experiment OR uses organized tracking. It is associated with providing too many women perceived clinical issues. - a non- Asian person

Ive been coming here for over a year, and Ive always been happy with the atmosphere, technicians, and quality. Ive had all types of services--acrylic nails, SNS, pedicures, and facials. I now regularly get SNS manicures, which last a month with no chipping, just cuticle growth. Only one time did my gel manicure chip on one nail after a week, and I came in to the salon and they fixed it for free. I included a picture of my latest manicure, which Vi did, because I love the different techniques they used.

Worst manicure of my life ever. The nail technician they assigned to me was so careless and unskilled. I have no issues with Janet but they need a better mechanism to manage and train their employees. One shouldnt be placed in a situation where theyre not sure if their technician will do well or not. She was very unprofessional and careless. They really botched my gel manicure; the technician kept on assuming the gel was dry and had to do this over 4 times. I ended up staying there for over an hour and a half, and it barely lasted a week. Their prices are just like any other nail salon, so I suppose Ill just go to another place with better service and higher quality products.

Loved the place, but this one lady I had giving me a pedicure seemed unexpierenced and I did not enjoy it. But my nails look good! Very beautiful, big place.

Wow! I have never been so rudely treated! The technician Kathy ignored me when I spoke to her and when I asked her if she had a less shear pink for a French Manicure, her response was I cant read your mind. Go look for yourself and pick. When I brought back a color to get her opinion, she said that she thought it was too much. When I asked her if they had something in between, her answer was No, if you dont like it, thats all we have. When she was done with my mani/pedi and I sat drying my nails for 30 minutes, not once did she come and check. I basically, I took care of myself, paid, and walked out to never step foot there again. Ridiculous.

Really clean and nice. friendly staff. I got an SNS manicure but once it was done I noticed that the powder didnt reach my cuticle so it looked like it had already been growing out for a couple weeks. as well there are little indents on my nails...

Inspite of the paving of the parking lot, I navigated my way from the street by foot to the front door and was immediately thanked for going in! I got an outstanding gel polish from Vien--it is 2 weeks and still looking great. Vien was friendly, funny and spoke great English so we had no communication issues. (I tried to book an appointment with her for this weekend on the salons website, but she is not listed as as service provider. Very disappointing.) The salon is clean and classy and provides a wide variety of services. And I felt the price was very reasonable!

Just awful. Staff spent the whole time mercilessly bullying the very nice girl who did my manicure until she was totally stressed out. easily the most tense and racist experience of workplace bullying ive ever been forced to witness, couldnt wait to leave.

I have been here for a Mani pedi a few times. However, I recently upgraded and paid for an SNS manicure. Within a couple of days, it was clear it wasnt adhered to my whole nail, so they kept catching & lifting away. It was so uncomfortable and I was not willing to pay them again to remove them. I used their website to contact and heard nothing back from them. I also searched online and realised I had been scammed - SNS DOES NOT REQUIRE UV LAMP, so whatever they did, it wasnt SNS, which is what I paid for.

Updated on 12/24 after posting in the summer w 5 stars:After much debate with myself I have to find another salon- I don’t feel like their business practices are up to par as I have been shuffled to various technicians with wide ranges of abilities. I’m also just not sure of everybody’s names all the time bc I fall asleep and forget to ask, so I guess I can take some of the blame for not remembering to ask for certain technicians. However, I chose to reduce my rating from 5 stars bc I come here almost every week, spend about $65-$85 and up depending on if I get the mani/pedi with SNS etc. I always pay a 20% tip which is usually anywhere between $10-20, so I’m quite baffled as to why I keep getting technicians that upcharge me, then I notice when I get home that my nails are uneven and bumpy. I’ve never been one to nitpick over these things, as they’ve been occurring here for me for quite some time and in general it’s a pretty solid nail spot- I have made sure to ask every single tech I sat with to not file my nails down to oblivion, but more often than not, the person I sit with will push for this to happen. Why must I argue with a tech to not file my nails so much? Why am I being upcharged for an acrylic overlay? Why am I being forced to get gel over my acrylic when regular polish will do just fine??? I’ve been coming here almost two years now (1.5 exactly) and I expect a little bit of training and evolving on their part to better know their returning customers or at least to evolve with the market.And while I can spend the money, I’d rather not be forced and argued with to spend $200+ a month doing this. Your long standing, loyal customers deserve to have their voices heard AND to be treated w some modicum of respect, especially if we keep coming back. I never have any complaints but after so very long of the same thing not changing, I have to take my business elsewhere. I’m so so very tired of spending money where my voice is not heard and I am not valued as a customer. A few things I’d suggest to the owner: it’s not enough that you installed a rewards program. You need to start tracking your customers in store habits, what they purchase and how they like their services. And for gods sake some of the techs need to be retrained with acrylics dipping and tips. Finally, your some of your techs need to be taught how to manage their customers, customer service and just how to understand and execute what a customer wants. If I tell your tech that I don’t want the mechanic drimmel like file for my nails, I expect them to stop and start using a regular file. TOO MANY TIMES I’ve had to ask for this, then discuss and explain in detail why I want it; which is also true for when I request certain things like acrylic with regular polish. STOP PUSHING GEL AND SNS ON EVERYBODY. I stopped getting SNS recently bc I found that it wasn’t better than acrylics, also, gels don’t last any longer for me than regular polish- yet STILL when I ask for regular polish I am PUSHED SO HARD to get gel.... so I spent $65 ($55 + tip) on acrylic overlay with gel on top- the surfaces are bumpy and my nails look like press ons... I am fine with how it looks as it’s only nails, but I’ve been getting my nails done for 22 years now and it’s just really difficult to find a salon that puts effort into the details, you know?Sorry to say I won’t be returning- the drive was almost 25 minutes for me as well, so I’ll be saving gas too. Oh well.

Worst experience ever!! Racist, and physically harassed my friend. Pulled her nails off to the point that there was nerve damage. Would never recommend for someone to come. Felt completely unwelcomed coming here! Also, tried charging her for something she never asked for.

I thoroughly enjoyed my first visit! Very relaxing atmosphere...started w/Boi, who is great with waxing! A gentleman completed my pedi...that was great! My mani was completed by Jenny -- great job! Needless to say it was a GREAT experience...I have made another appointment! :o)

I was there 4 days a go to do my nailsfirst of all they were so confused and they were passing me to each othersfinally the girl came and pushed me to get the gel on my nails she told me it will last long for 2 to 3 weeks, I was not going to do it and instead I was going to do only powder with fake nails she told me with that you might get nail fungus and is better to do the gel set.!!!!!!!how ever I didnt feel good about none of them but I was thinking maybe she can do a good job according to the reviews online lol what a joke they might just tell each others to write a reviews others wise nobody would walk in..!! anyways during the service she was telling me how good she is in her job and whomever gone to her they are keep coming back!! anyways she did my nails and she charged me $55.00 and I gave her 10 box as her tip which I shouldntby the second day all of the nails came off by the way the TECHNICIAN NAME IS NANCYI dont recommend this place to anybody its just trashing your money!! with that amount of money I could at least have the gel set for 3 weeks but hey they are all gone.!!Tiam kazemi

I purchased the special coupon thru GROUPON for the Aislim Nails & Spa. The experience was just OK until the manicure person clipped my cuticle too deep and caused some bleeding to my finger this was the first something like that occurred and I get my nails done at least once a month.

The worst experience, the lady was rude from the minute I started picking the color, she had an attitude because I wasnt sure about the color, she was working fast and roughly, not paying attention and sneezing all the time without wearing a mask, she just didnt want to work, I am so upset, and not at all worth the 40 dollars, I was was actually doing my own nails at the end, and she just wanted to finish, very disappointed, I dont do my nails much, so I was excited to get them done, now Im so upset
