Lost everything most of all my health. They should of helped. Especially for a very ill 68yr. Old SENIOR. This time of need WITH corn. Virus.I say no more.
They should have their funding withdrawn. In my experience with them they offer to get involved to help and find resources but instead just point out things you should be doing and manipulate what input they receive from you or healthcare providers ( through HIPPA violations mind you since no ROI was ever signed) to try to support their plan. Even though you may know your family member for your entire life, their hour meeting with them means they know better than you. They’ve offered no actual assistance to carry out logistics of plans. You can work 80 hours a week to support your loved ones, and yourself but you should also be performing miracles and being multiple places at once... give me a break
My mom receives meals on wheels, for which she and I grateful. We have sent donations to the program. But the one big issue I have is what happens if they’re not notified in advance that client won’t be home to receive meal. My mom had an appointment with her PCP, we left and came home to see her front inner door had been forced in. The trim around door lock was ruined and I had to replace lock set. Mind you, there was no note, no phone call received. I thought my mom’s house had been burglarized, until I saw the effin’ meal on her dining room table! I called and asked who was going to pay for the damages and they basically told me tough shitski, it’s not in their contract to repair damage caused by them by asking the FRPD to perform a safety check. Because of this, (and other horror stories I’ve been told about) I’ve not sought further services from them.
This system seems beyond broken. Multiple concerns from family members and non family have been reported. Investigated with zero action taken. We have even asked for advice on how we can help our elder family member, which continues to be only, report it to the elder abuse line. Terrible agency, under funded or very poor policies!
The customer care is excellent. If you need to leave a message for your case worker, they always have called me back in a timely manner. If you call with a question they take care of it as soon as possible.
Do not get involved with Bristol Elders keep them out of your life as much as possible. My mom has Alzheimers and because of them and thier vendors she will be going to LTC. They should be there to help alleviate the stress of caring for your loved one and keeping them in thier own home but they just add to the stress. Thier vendors are unreliable and a joke. But dont ask to change vendors youll be denied.

Bristol elder services are the worst in the state of MA. I would recommend you go with PCA program rather than their services. You will get a headache dealing with them and nothing else. Their Nursing staff is the worst. I would not recommend this to anyone. Please try PCA or Senior whole health program.
