It was my daughters birthday today & we were trying to have mommy & daughter time but the nail technicians were very rough with our hands. The tech claims I have thin skin but I have never experienced this kind of issue before, Nearly every one of my fingers are cut & even after the tech saw I was bleeding, they offered nothing, no discount. I am very upset. Our hands were left with residue all over them even after washing & I asked to not have to pay full price but Im still waiting for a resolve to my issue I was not rude but I find it ridiculous that they asked me to pay $150 for this kind of service. I didnt notice how many cuts there were until I left & washed my hands & everything burns. Cant wait to go back to work tomorrow & wash my hands as often as I do... thatll be fun.

I’ve never written a review before.I went in wanting a black ombré. They never said that it would be too difficult. It’s very sloppy and the lines are so harsh! Wish they were upfront at any moment about the design I would of been fine with changing it. When I left I felt like they are all for the sale and not the quality of service. My nail tech ran out right after it was finished I didn’t even get a chance to speak to her. Over all bad experience and won’t be returning.

I have been going to Amy at Venus nails since they opened. She is absolutely amazing!!! I know I am a very picky client, but she always takes the time to make sure I am happy. I would recommend her to anyone!!!

I just had gotten my nails done a week ago (not here) and I had to get them taken off and put a new set on! I love how they look! I enjoy coming here always good music everyone is very nice! I rarely leave bad reviews but this needs to be out there, I went for a full set and I usually get acrylics but they showed me the dipping powder and I was like sure why not, didn’t ask for price ( that was my bad) but in my head I was thinking maybe it’s like $50 so I get my nails done, didn’t love them but it’s ok I adapt easy and I thought I’ll eventually will like them, went to pay and the total was $70 🤭 ok I pay the total plus tips and two weeks later my $70 nails are falling off 😂 when I do acrylic they last longer and they never fall. So yeah, just throwing it out there, the place is beautiful, they nail techs are gorgeous I couldn’t stop looking at mine 😄

After so many places I finally found a good nail salon that does not overcharge and does the job perfectly. They always greet me with a smile and leave me satisfied with my nails.

Everyone is so friendly, I feel like family. They also keep everything clean consistently, after every customer, even when helping a customer, they still ensure their stations are clean.

Amazing job... Had switched nail salons because I was no longer happy with were I had been going. I had gotten several people showing me there work and decided to give it a try.. extremely happy. I had gotten fresh dip nails and gel toenails to match.. pricing is fair.. will def be returning..

First time going here to fix a bad set I had done elsewhere, Jason paid attention to detail and took his time, I chose black and told him to surprise me with any design he wanted to do but nothing too crazy and he completely listened and did exactly what I didn’t know I wanted. I love my nails, definitely will go back to Jason.

I’ve been going to this nail salon since I moved to Fall River back in January. I’ve always loved the quality of my nails and how they come out, however I am disappointed with the way I was treated at my last visit. I came in and was told it would be about 10 minutes. I was patient and waited longer than that because it was busy. I went in with intentions to just get a gel acrylic fill. When I sat down, I already had old gel acrylics from my last visit on my hands, and was planning on just getting a fill but the technician OUN talked me into getting a new full set. She did not mention a Full Set is more than a fill. I also came in with a picture of the nails I wanted, and the technician did not tell me it would cost extra for the french tip design. They charged me $20 extra for nail removal to put on a new set, it’s not included in the price for the new gel full set which is $50 then charged me $10 extra just for french nails, and $25 for eyebrows. Who the heck charges $25 for eyebrows? You’d think my eyebrows would look amazing for that price but it was a simple wax nothing special. While I was having my brows waxed, she must of asked me 5 times if I wanted any other waxing, it was quite insulting like I’m some hairy freak. No lady, I don’t want any other waxing today just my brows please... must have said it 5 times, stop pushing and asking me just because you want more money. I honestly feel like that’s what they do here. They push you to spend more so they rack up more money for themselves. I literally left crying because I felt like I got ripped off, and when I addressed my concerns with the manager he was very confrontational and acted like he didn’t care, and that it was my fault that that I didn’t know the prices even though no one explained to me the pricing before my services were done and they don’t have any physical menu in their salon for their customers. They are way over priced and unprofessional and rude. The reason they don’t post their pricing on their wall like other salons is because people would walk in and then right back out. It sucks because I really loved this place but my experience here made me not want to ever come back. Who leaves the nail salon crying? You’re supposed to be smiling!!

This was my second time going. On the first visit, I got hot gel and a beautiful design that lasted well and a long time. The second time, I got the tips removed and a simple French manicure was done. Both times I was so happy with how much attention to detail my manicurists were!!

Quick service and was nice and clean inside which was nice, and the tech seemed knowledgeable on what he was doing. Overall very poorly done though, looks like I did them at home and the polish was all over my skin/poorly applied. As nice as the man was doing it I will not be going back, better off trying somewhere else.

The environment is always clean and everyone Ive encountered there has been very welcoming and friendly. Cleanest work that lasts and looks great for weeks. I tell everyone that needs their nails done!

On time, efficient and courteous. Easy online appointments. Great selection of colors, that last! COVID protocols felt very safe with temperatures being checked and Purell being dispensed. Most people were wearing masks.

The place is beautiful. there is a huge chandelier decorating in the middle of the living room wow so pretty. This place has a lot of people🤪very busy place,very noisy. two tvs on playing loud music,people talking all over the place .I really couldnt relax in this spa.. I had my nails done and I left with a headache. the service was ok. very expensive.but You dont let go, have your own experience and see with your own eyes what Im saying👍🏼

Staff was amazingly agreeable! I got a full arrangement of acrylic and pedicure. My nails were done presumably the quickest Ive at any point had. The pedicure was incredible and she took as much time as necessary. I wish I got their names however I will be returning!!

This place is clean and pretty but the service is lacking. I got a pedicure and somehow the polish was both too thin AND, in some areas, globbed on. Whatever they scrubbed my feet with made them rougher than they were when we went in and the foot/calf massage was not as long as advertised. It wasnt the worst experience Ive had in my life but Ive had better pedicures for cheaper elsewhere.

Henry is a speedy, delicate individual when I complete my nails by him. He does perfect nails, does flawless work. I certainly suggest completing nails by him.

Afwul dip set. My nails are so thick, uneven and not shaped properly. I went in asking for a new set with a design. The guy was rushing the entire time and him and his buddies where taking/ joking very inappropriate topics such as duis & drinking and driving and drug cartel as for someone who has a family member who struggles with addiction I didn’t find there jokes amusing at all, very unprofessional. Once the set was on he was trying to get a simple checkered design on my ring finger and couldn’t accomplish the design. The whole appointment was rushed I walked out paying 65$ for a set I didn’t want. I’m not one to complain but the nails are so horrific I cant drag myself not to post a review. I have had bad experiences in the past at this place but it’s a really nice building so I continue to go, but I won’t be back after this experience.

Horrible!😠Not even worth 1 star. Don’t waste your time or money. The first time I went I got dip; this was prior to Covid and they started to peel off within 3 days. I figured I would give them another chance…I got gel pedi & mani. My nails started to peel within 5days. I wanted to go back but I knew it would be a waste of time. Meanwhile, the tech kept pressuring me to do dip. She literally asked me three times and then as she was almost done w/ my nails she asked if I wanted eyebrows done; talk about a hustler.DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!

Henry did an awful job. I got a gel manicure and my hands were soaked in cold water. No filing, no cuticle removing, and no massage (all of which should be included in the service). Polish is sloppy looking and some fingers started to lift only a few hours later. Would not recommend!

I had two separate people do my nails and toes and it was terrible.my tips fell off in less than a weeks time. I am a stay at home mom and don’t do any heavy work so there should be no reason. I have never gotten tips and had to go back in a week time. As far as my toes go I had an ingrown nail which I get removed from my regular nail shop who was closed that day and now that I allowed this place to do it my toe is in severe pain. The place looks nice but some of the workers attitudes suck and the work is not great. I would not recommend it’s not worth the price at all!

I went here before my wedding to get a pedicure and dipped nail extensions. The girl was very nice and clearly tried her best but my toes looked awful!! I had to wipe them down and redo them myself. They wanted extra to tak care of the bottom of my feet, even though I paid for the upgraded pedicure. She took over 2 hours to do my nails which came out pretty but started popping off within a week. By the end of 2 weeks I didnt have any nail extensions left. In the end I spent over $200 to have a very mediocre experience

I absolutely love love love this place!! Bryan is my nail tech and I actually followed him here! I love having the latest or craziest nails abd whenever I show him a picture he always pulls it off! His sister jessica does great designs as well ( her pedicures are to die for!) the owner is the only woman in the world i will let touch my eyebrows!! They offer lashes now too!! This place is huge bright and airy, complete with a massive elegant chandelier, they have lots of nail and pedi stations. I recommend for large/small bridal parties ( more than enough room) .Bryan has been my nail tech for 5 years strong, never once disappointed. During the covid times ( now) every station is equipped with a plexiglass that separates us and the techs, they take your temp at the desk, and on each station is a certification of completion of a sanitation/barbicide class to obide by cdc regulations. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! They charged double for my daughters mani/pedi and added another $15 for nails that say I ❤Y on one hand and Y ❤ I on the other. Its not even the correct letter!!! And they REFUSED to refund the proper amount. My gel manicure is lumpy and horrible. One was so thin from JESSICA filing it that it broke off Rip! WORST PLACE DONT GO HERE!

This place is great! Its clean, organized, sanitized and decorated fabulously. The staff are all attentive and kind. Ive had some great relaxing pedicures, the last one included a leg and foot mask. My skin is STILL soft and moisturized days after. The manicures are always great too. The nail technicians are talented and efficient. Nails are ok, pretty smoothe but shape is questionable. gonna have to to some fixing when i get home. :/ they made it look like my nails were already grown out, so i need to get a fill sooner. they don’t care about your nails or doing well, they just want your money and want you out.

The service was really good. However, I got dip powder extensions done on a Saturday and by Tuesday I needed them to get fixed because they were cracking underneath. I have never had this happen before. It is now Friday and my dip powder cracks again. I sit at home and do school work so I’m not sure why these nails are cracking. I am so upset and I have an event to go to.

Do not go here! I wanted to try a new place to have acrylic nails done, and I always heard Venus was the place to go. Though it’s very clean and looks new inside, the actual nails themselves came out horrible, and one staff person in particular was very rude, basically telling me my nails were dry just so i could leave, when they were not dry at all. As for the quality of the acrylics, they lifted after a week when they are supposed to last (AND IT’S ADVERTISED ON THEIR WEBSITE TO LAST) 2 weeks. I’m not the type of person to have a negative thought about a place after the first time I try something, so I went again giving them the benefit of the doubt that MAYBE it would be better than the last time. But I was wrong. If anything, this time was worse. I even tried gel this time for my fill. When the nails were completed, one was very crooked, and most of them began to lift after 3 days. The crooked one lifted first, and eventually broke off, so I asked them to fix it, only for the nail tech to tell ME to be careful when it wasn’t my fault that it was lifted in the first place. Now, here I am a week after getting my nails done AGAIN, and they’re all lifted, one broke off, and I’m promising myself to never go back. I don’t mind the price if it’s more expensive for better quality, but Venus was NOT the case. It was more expensive for the worst quality nails I’ve ever had done. Never going back, and if you know what is best for you, you won’t either.

The prices may be a little higher than the other local nail salons, but it’s well worth it for the amazing quality and service you receive. Just walking in and seeing the huge chandelier centerpiece makes a girl feel like royalty. Staff are all super friendly from the sweet receptionist to all the nail technicians - they all treat you like gold. My favorite nail salon in Fall River hands down!! Totally recommend.
